The materials originally included reading materials from the Palestinian Youth Movement, which has hosted speakers from the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine – which the State Department designates as a foreign terrorist organization.
The materials were first exposed by Stop Antisemitism, an organization dedicated to combating antisemitism and anti-Israel extremism. Another website included in the course materials was Palestine Remembered. The website includes pages on the assertion that European Jews are descended from converts from the Khazar kingdom, in an effort to promote the idea the Jews were not from Israel. The idea is a debunked conspiracy theory.

Columbus Day – October 12th – became somewhat lost this year, because of the excitement about possible peace dominating Gaza.
Allow me to offer a little essay on why Christopher Columbus remains an important example of The Western European Judaeo-Christian tradition.
First, we must nod praise to The Vikings, who had reached North America c. A.D. 1000, but for various reasons, among them the lack of good communications in the early Medieval Period, and then the Medieval Cooling period, during which glaciers made a comeback in Greenland.
Many people do not know that the brilliant idea of Columbus – sailing West to reach India and Asia in general – depended upon the printing press of Johannes Gutenberg and the re-appearance of an ancient Greek geography book by Ptolemy.
The revolution created by Gutenberg’s Printing Press cannot be overestimated: without it, not only does Columbus not sail westward to find Asia, but the entire Renaissance does not happen, along with the Scientific Revolution. Scholars could suddenly gain access to books, which had previously been found only in monastic libraries, at times literally chained to walls to prevent theft, but also thereby preventing the spread of knowledge.
Ptolemy’s geography book was considered a standard reference in the Renaissance, because there was a bias that the ancient Greeks and Romans had superior knowledge, which – thanks to Gutenberg’s printing press – was now spreading rapidly.
However, his book contained a large error in calculating the circumference of the Earth: he wrote that it was c. 5,000 miles.
Eratosthenes, another ancient Greek mathematician and geographer, had correctly calculated the circumference at c. 25,000. His work, however, was not well known, eclipsed by Ptolemy’s reputation.
And so, Columbus read Ptolemy, and thought that Europeans had been traveling to India the wrong way: if one sailed westward, it should only be 1500 miles, rather than 3500 (longer in fact, because of Africa, although one could sail through the Mediterranean, transport goods overland to the Red Sea to another ship, and go on to India).
Ptolemy’s error led Columbus to land in the Caribbean Islands.
Of course, the important thing about Columbus is that he had the courage, the ambition, and the curiosity to sail into unknown waters for the first time!
One must also emphasize that Aztecs, Incas, the Chinese, the Indians, the Africans were NOT sailing around the world into Europe to explore and learn and, yes, profit from the experience.
It was Europeans who combined that Trinity of Traits – Courage, Ambition, and Curiosity – to discover how people in other areas on the planet lived, what they believed, which plants and animals existed there, etc. and, more importantly, if the discovered area was backward, they believed that it was their duty to civilize people who, e.g. were cannibals.
Christopher Columbus was not a genocidal maniac deliberately spreading diseases or trying to enslave people, or committing other such acts, of which modern-day Communists – who despise success and creativity and love only the misery of mediocrity – accuse him.
It is his example of Courage, Ambition, and Curiosity,* which we must communicate and emphasize to our children, grand-children, and great-grandchildren!
Although despised today by the Communists in our midst, the standard biography of Columbus remains unmatched, Admiral of the Ocean Sea, by Samuel Morrison. It should be required reading for our young people.
If we allow the STUPIDITIES dominating our society today, e.g. eternal screens everywhere filled with lies and nonsense and worse, and also the Pantophobia exhibited by parents, who, under the mistaken notion that they are “keeping their children safe,” are in fact making their children fearful of everything, and thereby destroying any traces of Courage, Ambition, and Curiosity naturally present in their children.
Of course, one of our huge problems is that we have fewer parents these days than ever before: a recent article mentioned apartment complexes are now built without playgrounds…but with “dog-washing stations” instead! We have noticed “new neighborhoods” being built in Florida and North Carolina (Charlotte) without sidewalks, postage-stamp yards, and no playgrounds or open spaces for children.
But that is another topic!
* Numerous ancient and medieval explorers evinced these qualities: e.g. a Greek merchant named Pytheas sailed near the Arctic and Scandinavia c. 300 B.C. Some Roman merchants during the A.D. 100’s made their way somehow to China, during the principate of Emperor Antoninus Pius. Unfortunately, we know nothing about them, except for a mention about their visit in a Chinese chronicle. A Byzantine Greek named Cosmas Indicopleustes (“sailing to India”) in the 500’s must be mentioned. And of course, Marco Polo and his explorations of Asia in the 1200’s cannot be forgotten!
Who knows how many other such explorers have been forgotten or were never known to begin with?

The first case is two that have been consolidated into one hearing: Louisiana vs Callais and Robinson vs Callais. This is the racial gerrymandering case out of Louisiana.
The second case is A FOURTH AMENDMENT CASE. After police learned a man had suicidal thoughts they entered his home without a warrant and used that opportunity to find items (a search without a warrant) they later used to convict him of a felony with.
The question before the Court on this case is “Whether law enforcement may enter a home without a search warrant based on less than probable cause that an emergency is occurring, or whether the emergency-aid exception requires probable cause.”
Second one is a textbook example of why inner city residents do not trust the police. If they call them for help of any kind, they are more likely to bust the victim for something than to catch and punish the offender.
Obviously if police show up and find that you’re running a drug house that’s a different thing. But there is widespread belief that any and all interaction with the police of any kind is likely to turn out badly, even for the victim.

Do you have a link to the actual court case? From reading the highlighted excerpts, it seems that the list is required to ensure that the ruling is complied with as relates to the plaintiffs. The judge says that not identifying the members of the suit would mean it would be an effective nationwide injunction which he feels is outside of his jurisdiction.

So, why all the anger and pushback? I think it is because of their donation changes. They have always contributed to both dems and Repubs (primarily dems though). As I’ve said, Trump is going for a controlled demolition, with each storey of the DS construct collapsing on top of the one below, starting a growing cascade. He won’t just clear away the pile of resultant rubble, he’s moving his construction crews and their equipment into position, ready for the rebuilding of the Republic in years 2-4.
The DS is going to have to make a decision soon, try to keep on fighting and risk being caught in the rubble, or flee now and hide, lick their wounds and start the process all over again. My guess is the architects of the DS will flee, leaving their shock (or should that be shocking, given their appearance) troops to keep resisting, to buy them time and distance.
