Here is the game plan that the forces against Trump will be using for the foreseeable future.
They will attempt to get you to make the perfect the enemy of the good.
Be it the freedom clowns and spending, the immigration hawks with H1B visas, the peace doves with timing, the cultural warriors with total bans of DEI/CRT, the neocons with war fighting, or the swamp dwellers with draining the swamp.
All of them will attempt to get you to believe on whatever issue is the issue of the day that it doesn’t go far enough or do enough. They will try to make you think that some sub issue of that issue is more important and should be handled first, that since the issue hasn’t been handled yet it won’t be, that we can’t do more than one thing, that so and so is a plant to stop the draining of the swamp, or that because it wasn’t 100% Trump lied. On every single issue, one or more groups will attempt this strategy.
You can’t allow them that power over you. If Trump secures the border and deports 2 million, don’t allow them to reduce that good by them saying well he didn’t deport 2.5 million, so he failed or lied.
You can’t allow them to use the perfect to void out the good in the coming months.
They will try. They already have with the CR and the H1b visa debates. It works, that is why they use it. You have to keep it in the front of your head on everything about to occur that half a loaf or hopefully in most cases 7/8ths a loaf is better than no loaf.
Do not allow them to gaslight you into thinking the good is the enemy of the perfect.
In the real world, most things are never perfect, but if we try real hard, we can get plenty of good accomplished in the coming 4 years.
The purpose and goals of President Trump are plainly visible by his actions and consistent: He is for the benefit first of the common PEOPLE of this country, then of the PEOPLE in the rest of the world. It is validating, even to our battered conservative skepticism.
The methods of his leadership are amazing. I still don’t get HOW he does it, or HOW he is able to get so much momentum going, but every day the momentum is growing. Everyone and every organization has their eyes opened every day — just by watching him. Even those who hate him, are biased against him, and want to see him gone — cannot ignore him. He lives rent free in their head, and they come around to seeing the universal principles by which he is operating. He hammers actions based on truth from one direction, then another, and they cannot mount an organized opposition against him.
President Trump is transparent in his words and actions. He is consistent in what he says, what he does, and what he asks/demands of others. His promises are bold and he keeps them like no other president has. He is making massive, nearly overnight changes, not only in our country, but in the world. It is amazing that he is able to accomplish so much when there are so many snakes in the grass. This term, he is weeding them out faster. No U.S. president has ever faced so much organized resistance and treason than President Trump
He has chosen to use his intellect and every skill he has to do what is right. He has tremendous faith that he can make a difference in this world. He has a confidence and courage such that he doesn’t care what others think, yet a humility to know he has to do it with the help of like minded people. Those people are the “common” people, and he ridicules those who think they are not common.
He believes people are basically good. He believes that God is real. He believes that healthy people are happy people, and they need to be able to create wealth freely for their labor, and have the freedom to spend their money on what is good for them.
He believes the United States, with its Constitutional Republic, is the best environment in the world to enable and give opportunity for people to be happy and prosperous.
He believes that we can be a light for the world, but we must demand that the rest of the world respect us and our right to life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of happiness.
He believes the enemy of our country are the stupid, greedy American people who have been selfishly taking advantage of this country; who betrayed the trust and obedience of its people; and who diverted the people’s wealth for their own selfish gain, at the expense of the principles of this country. He’s not going to allow that anymore.
He has cultivated and focused the family of MAGA. Identifying those people whose goodness, industriousness, trust, and obedience have been taken advantage of and abused. He has opened our eyes to this abuse, and the rights of freedom and self determination that have been quietly stolen from us.
He has rekindled the healthy distrust of government and men with too much power held by our founders. He has recultivated the desire to reclaim our freedoms and rights, and is empowering us with a hope and pathway to reclaim our spiritual and economic freedom.
He wants the US to be a light of hope on the hill for all people. He will negotiate win/win agreements with those nations and countries who respect us; who respect the principles and intent of our Constitution. If you do not respect us, however, we are not going to let you take advantage of our goodness, or share in our wealth at our expense. If you as a nation are treating your people badly, you are going to be treated less favorably by us, until you show that you value your people as much as we value ours.
He is convincing those who are very wealthy (most of whom truly earned their money), that the best economic soil in which to build wealth is in a constitutional republic, which supports the ability of the common man to earn wealth in proportion to his efforts. The economic engine of the United States is the human spirit freed to enjoy the fruits of honest labor, and that engine has more natural and raw horsepower than any other governed economy.
The Trump Train seems to be remarkably aligned with universal principles of Truth, which reflect the will and design of our Creator, and are the best standard by which we should live. These same principles were what our country’s founders used to declare independence, and framed into the Constitution of this nation.
Our founders believed that a nation should preserve the right and freedom of an individual to seek, understand, and live by God’s principles. They believed that free individuals working together in humility would make a stronger nation than a government which dictates its will on the people. President Trump professes and seeks to lead and restore this nation back to these same principles.
These principles resonate deeply within all human beings, down to our DNA in every cell, in our spirits, and produce fruit that “miraculously” multiplies. Because we follow universal principles, we see the snowballing acceleration of momentum on day 269 of the 2nd term of this very stable genius in the history of the kingdoms of this world in the year of our Lord 2025.

Trump V 1.0 made a faint attempt at cuts, a small ask (temporary freeze, some depts asked to cut 10%), then Lawfare and Covid hit ($$$).
Trump 2.0 had light hearted discussions with Musk suggesting $2 Trillion in DOGE cuts to waste, fraud, and abuse. They then committed to finding $1 Trillion in cuts.
They had some great successes and found some waste gold mines (USAID, USIP, etc), then things seemed to stall. Musk came off flippant and uncaring, and his poll numbers cratered.
Last I read they found $210 Billion in suggested cuts, 21% of the goal. It sounds like certain departments are off limits, like DOD ($980 Billion budget). $100B – $200B in cuts there has to be easy. Osprey? 45 4-star generals?
The next Democrat to win the WH will look to restart most of these agencies, and rehire across the board with their Liberal loons.
I’ve posted the math before.
Our country spends about $7 Trillion (thousand billions), but only brings in $5 Trillion in revenues. That means we need to cover $2 Trillion in shortfall deficit spending with cuts just to balance cash flow.
The national debt is about $37 Trillion , adding a $1 Trillion interest due load on the deficit. Until we balance the budget, we can’t start paying down debt. (Yes, that interest is already in the $2B shortfall, but has to be paid)
So a $200 billion cut is 10% of the way to balancing the budget. And look how much Congress pushed back on even that. We haven’t even started on the road to cuts.
And surprise, China aggression and Russia Tomahawk missiles are in the news every morning now. Good luck getting the Pentagon to cut now with a “war footing” messaging (propaganda for spend?). They will whine over any cuts as well, regardless of the waste.
So we are in a pickle.

I am going to reveal a personal story.
Married for 17 years.
Marriage has ups and downs.
Classical marital issues – thru time, we realized we were quite different.
We have one child -14.
I anticipated my wife and I would muddle through it to the finish line.
I am Catholic.
For me divorce is not an option nor would I want that.
My daughter was born with tetrolgy of fallot.
Severe heart condition…
Survived and thriving…
She is a miracle.
My wife (not to denigrate her) was always about our daughter -not me.
Lily (her name) became my wife’s God and shrine.
I was never close to any of that as her husband…
Flash forward.
My wife is a liberal.
I did not know this when I married her.
Over the years I learned she was wrongheaded on many issues.
I am not sharing glaring details here….
But Trump broke her.
I know you have heard such stories.
But…
Trump broke her.
Charlie Kirk really broke her – pushed her over the edge….
My daugheter is graduating Catholic H.S. in 3 more years.
And my wife has indicated she is out. Done.
We just have nothing in common she tells me.

The first thing I would avoid is talking about politics with her , try to cut off any talk of politics and if it comes up just cut it short and talk about a different topic . If you can both agree on that it would be a good start . I avoid talking politics when I’m around people I know are liberal but it seems liberals cannot stay away from politics they always bring politics into everything in my experience . That’s why I intentionally avoid liberals if at all possible lol.

Said daughter, my blood cousin is an active college professor in California, actively spreading the TDS mind virus to the youth. And she was always like that since she was 5 years old. Trump Derangement Syndrome is a mental disorder that vacuums up people who have been mental a-holes since early youth.

Females in general have been targeted by mass media, the education system and the “entertainment industry 🤮” for decades.
Always slanting information towards feelings, being faux compassionate and the like.
By doing so they have created an impenetrable force within said women, and “ sad” beta males, males that have little attributes to attract the female sex so figure going along will get “ some action”
If the female so infected has a mental imbalance they ain’t ever coming back..and a President Trump like individual induces a full on psychosis.
Especially when they see a real women of Melania’s stature on his arm, as they scream and tug at their dyed hair in the bathroom mirror, and ponder another tattoo.

While I have compassion for your situation, it never works to see yourself as a victim. Change the way you look at things. You created the life you are living. You can change it, but first you need to take responsibility.
This may lead to a divorce, but it seems that is already on the table (your wife’s plan). So change your thinking by looking st how you created your life and what you can do right now. As a start, your wife won’t go to counseling, but you could. Or if your wife is religious, you could suggest family Bible study and prayer nights. Or you could ask your wife to plan something with you, maybe a trip you two have always wanted.
You need to work on you and at the same time accept your wife exactly as she is. You have nothing to lose (divorce already on the table) except seeing yourself as a victim.
The Five Love Languages.
It is a book that talks about five major areas of life that mean love to people.

4) Quality time
5) Physical touch
All of us have a love language, and most of us have a little bit of others thrown in with our main love language.
But most of us fail miserably with our spouses, because we offer them what we think is the highest form of love — our love language.
Our spouse does not need our love language (which is easiest for us to give), they need their love language (which is usually very difficult for us to give).
You probably did put “work” in, but it may have been a lot of your love language, which to your wife was you doing you. In the end all your hard “work” meant nothing to her, and rightly so. If after 17 years together you do not know your wife well enough to know her love language, and then freely and genuinely give that to her, then yes, your best efforts were and are nothing more than boring repetion and “work.”
If your love for your wife after 17 years of marriage is “work”. . . then the lens you are looking through needs to be changed.
I know a man who is in a similar situation to you. His wife and two adult daughters are leftist liberals. He is a strong conservative. The family has Trump signs and antifa signs in their yard; it looks like a mad house.
He loves his wife and daughters, but doesn’t know what went wrong.
I happened to stop at his house one day this summer when I saw he was having a garage sale. Went into his garage, met his wife for the first time and we chit-chatted a bit, then I talked to the husband. While there I noticed he had photos of other women tacked up all over the walls, and none of them were of his wife or his daughters.
Last week I ran into this man again and had a chance to talk to him one-on-one.
After having prayed a lot about the possibility of God giving me a chance to talk with this man, and asking the Holy Spirit to help me speak words of godly counsel to him, I reminded him of our first conversation where he told me about his family falling apart due to political differences. I reminded him of how his daughters were at one time in love with their dad, and had grown away from him as they matured. Then I told him how I’d seen the photographs of other women posted all around his garage.
I told this man that he has one wife whose job it is to love, ‘Husbands love your wives like Christ loves the church,’ and that she is to be his first priority here on earth.
His first priority.
No other.
I told him that by having photographs of other women anywhere in their house he is telling his wife that she is not first in any way. I told him that by having photographs of other women, that he is telling his daughters that cute women are more important than they or their mother are. I told him that if he wants to be the strong head of his home he needs to stand-up and be the man that shows his family that they come first; not him.
I said he could make a huge impact in his home if he went home and without any fanfare, without telling anyone what he was doing or why he was doing it, to take down all the photographs and throw them away. To get rid of any and all photographs of other women he has anywhere in his garage, house, car, etc., and do it without making a show of it.
And then, without making a show of it, put photographs of his wife and daughters up where he will see them every day.
Your wife is not unreachable.
I don’t agree with the people that say it’s your fault Bill and that you have to change things . The people commenting are only going by the information you have provided us and based on that information I don’t see how anybody could view this situation as a failure on your part . You seem 100% committed to doing just about anything to save your marriage and your wife isn’t . There are some head scratchers out there but this isn’t one of them.

As a Christian he is, and we are, to follow the Lord and what He says, and not the opinion of people. “…do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity toward God? Therefore, whoever wishes to be a friend of the world sets himself as an enemy of God.” James 4 part of 4.
And what does God say to men concerning being a husband? That should be all that Bill needs, if he wants to walk in obedience to the Lord.

Ephesians tells wives how to act and tells husbands how to act. But notice how husbands are given much more information concerning how they are to act towards their wives, and how they are told to ‘love your wife, just as Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her.’
Bill is told to love his wife just as Christ loved His church. Christ loved His church so much He DIED for it.
We are each responsible, individually, in the eyes of the Lord for what we do.
We are not responsible for what anyone else does when it comes to their salvation.
But a husband has more accountability to/for his wife than any other person does to someone else. Because a husband ought ‘to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless.’
A man is the head of his home. How the home runs or fails most definitely falls upon his shoulders.
I am not saying any of these things to belittle or bash Bill in any way.
Absolutely not.
But as Christians we have a Book that tells us what we need to know, and a God who tells us we need to do what is says and not just agree and go our own way.
I pray that the Lord will soften Bill’s heart and cause him to become the most wonderful, godly husband who ever lived. I pray one day Bill will rejoice over what God caused to take place in his life, and in his marriage, and will praise God for His unmerited grace.
Our marriages are reflections of Jesus and His church. I pray that we glorify Christ and His church through following His ways.

Did you know that they’ve stopped making highly detailed large intercity multiple county map books altogether after GPS was introduced. Big mistake to have become so dependent on technology to begin with.

I think the Dems govt shutdown is self-defeating. Suppose they shut down the government and no one noticed? That’s exactly what’s happening. Reasonable people are going to start asking why we need to spend trillions of dollars on non-essential government functions that no one notices their absence.
The average person doesn’t notice. The Armed Forces will notice as they will start missing paydays. Especially the lower paid below E4 that are married and have families to support and bills to pay will really feel the heat. Young military families have had little time or money to save up. Single members who live on base or ship so have food and housing won’t have as many worries but there will still be things like car payments to be made.
Of course the Federal bureaucracy will eventually notice. They know they will eventually get paid so the first days are nothing more than a paid vacation, but as this goes into week three there are bills piling up that need to get paid. Will the Federal bureaucracy turn on their masters if this goes on much longer? We won’t really know until the midterms.
It’s not new news. Armed forces are going to be paid regardless, through tariff rates.
That’s not definite yet. The Democrats are calling it illegal but are also afraid of the repercussions if they block it. We we have to wait and see.

India-origin strategist charged with keeping secret US defence files
Ashley Tellis, an Indian-origin foreign policy expert on US and South Asian affairs, was arrested over the weekend after more than a thousand pages of US top secret documents were allegedly found at his home.
He has been charged with the unlawful retention of national defence information, the US Justice Department said on Tuesday.
Mr Tellis, 64, grew up in Mumbai city before moving to the US to study. He has worked closely with the US government for years and is a senior adviser in the State Department.
He has not commented on the charges. His lawyer Deborah Curtis told Associated Press that “we look forward to the hearing, where we’ll be able to present evidence”.
“The charges as alleged in this case represent a grave risk to the safety and security of our citizens,” the DoJ statement quoted Lindsey Halligan, US Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, as saying.
If convicted, Mr Tellis can face a maximum prison term of 10 years and up to a $250,000 fine, the statement added.
Mr Tellis has held many important roles in the US government.
He served on the National Security Council of former President George W Bush and is currently a contractor with the Office of Net Assessment at the Department of Defense, renamed the Department of War by the Trump administration.
His influential position gave him top-secret clearance and allowed him to access sensitive information, according to court documents accessed by Reuters news agency.
The agency reports that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) affidavit accompanying the charge document cites several incidents over the past two months where Mr Tellis allegedly entered the State and Defence buildings and was seen printing classified documents, including about US military aircraft capabilities.
Surveillance video reportedly captured him leaving the buildings with a briefcase or a bag.
The FBI also said that Mr Tellis met Chinese government officials many times in recent years. The affidavit noted one such meeting in September 2022 at a restaurant in Fairfax, Virginia, where Mr Tellis is said to have arrived with a manila envelope but did not appear to have it when he left.
The affidavit also stated that a search of Mr Tellis’ residence in Vienna, Virginia, on Saturday uncovered more than 1,000 pages of classified documents with “top secret” and “secret” markings on it.
In the past, Mr Tellis has commented extensively on US-India-China relations in the Indian and international press. He is the Tata Chair for Strategic Affairs at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.
Earlier this month, he was interviewed by prominent Indian journalist Karan Thapar, during which he spoke about Trump’s steep tariffs on India and Delhi’s strategic importance to Washington.
