PresTrump made what I thought were lofty statements about cessation of all military conflict in (something like) the entire Middle East, and I scoffed. But recent US and Israel military actions show (I think) that continued pot-shots at Israel will mobilize US reprisal.
There’s a lot of lofty talk about this “Peace Plan” as a wider thing and I think US and Israel are saying “Ya’ll better sign on and stop your pot-shotting at Israel, because it’s FAFO time from here on out”

This meeting of World Leaders reminds me of the story, “The Little Red Hen”. The Red Hen does all the work (gathering the grain, mixing the dough, baking the bread) even though she asked others to help her and they all said, “No”. Yet when the bread was ready to eat, they all came to her and asked for bread.
The various Europeans and the UN wanted a seat at the Peace Table, yet they did almost nothing to make Peace happen.
