The professionally Republican wing of the GOPe want this shutdown ended just as much as the professionally Democrat wing. The UniParty cannot allow Trump/Vought this much power. Republicans cannot allow Trump this much power.
The Moonbat leftists are not the biggest problem, they never have been. They are ideologues, mostly. Insufferable, stupid, violent at times, but easy to spot.
Remember, Democrats quest for power; Republicans quest for money. Always underline this because it’s really important.
The Moonbat leftists seek power, seek control of your life, and they are open in their insufferably stupid arguments to get there. When they start to lose, they turn violent. This is their history.
That said, they are not the most dangerous.
The professional Republicans are more dangerous, because their priority is money. As a result, their approaches, goals, objectives and arguments can be purchased.
Republicans have no interests, goals or objectives, nor allegiances, that supersede their primary objective – getting money, and growing their wealth.
Democrats will come at you with a knife, a gun or a baseball bat. You can see them. The professional Republican guy standing beside you, however, is willing to take a payment to shoot you in the ear when you don’t see it coming.
This is also why it seems like Democrats stick together, and Republicans split. Democrats are chasing a common goal, a collective goal – power. Republicans are chasing a commonality, yes, but an individual goal – money, their wealth.
Donors contribute to the Democrat agenda because their interest is to benefit from power. Republicans modify their agenda to benefit donors, because their goal is money.
Democrats stay on task, power. Republicans are flexible, money.
You enter a war against Leftists with extreme danger. However, the danger is not the war in front of you, it’s the army beside you waiting to get a payment from the enemy in front of you.
Out of a group of 1,000 Democrats, 900+ will join in to defend a weakened Moonbat leftist (see Kimmel).
Out of a group of 1,000 Republicans, you will find, maybe, 5 willing to cover your back regardless of how much bribery is put in front of them.
Remember this, understand this and the reality of who presents the most danger to us is accurately framed.
Republicans do not simply snatch defeat from the jaws of victory; they sell defeat to the highest bidder!
In our lifetime we have watched this unfold.
There were Democrats with the same outlook as Republicans; they were known as “blue dog” democrats. The Blue Dogs were willing to compromise power, to sell power, in return for financial payment.
Traditional ‘Blue Dogs’ were names like Hillary and Bill Clinton; their prism was the assembly of money. However, this group faced the introduction of hardline ideological believers – the communists or Marxists represented by Barack Obama.
Obama Inc. battled Clinton Inc. to determine the future of the Democrats. The ideologues won, and the democrat Blue Dogs in their tribe, those willing to concede ideology for money, were purged from their ranks. Modern Democrats, post Obama takeover, are now pure ideologues.
“By any means necessary” is the operational objective of modern leftists. This is why government under Obama flipped the switch so openly and began weaponizing power. Purging govt agencies and replacing the staff with ideologues. Crushing opposition, by brute force and targeting.
Simultaneously, in the smaller Republican ranks, there was a small group who wanted to face down the same battle inside the Republican Party. The original Tea Party represented this group. A smaller assembly trying to put ideology, freedom and liberty at the forefront of the Republican objective.
Unlike the leftist effort, the Tea Party effort inside the Republican Party failed. Republican leadership crushed the liberty rebellion, and went back to business taking money from the ideological Marxists who now ruled the centers of power.
People, who didn’t quite understand what was taking place, stood and watched, frustrated, at the dynamic of Republicans who conceded every battle to the left.
What the abused GOP viewers didn’t understand was the core of the issue; Democrats want power, Republicans want money.
Each time the Republicans could win on a policy issue, they sold the loss to Democrats. Battered conservatives grew more frustrated and more frustrated.
Now we enter the era of MAGA, represented by billionaire Donald J. Trump, who, like Obama before him, began the fight inside the Republican Party.
The Tea Party rebellion quickly reengaged Trump and formed MAGA; the ideological fight inside the Republican party, liberty over money, was on again.
MAGA represents opposition to the leftist ideological advancement. But the Republican assembly will not concede. In a way their resistance makes sense.
If liberty and freedom become the priority, the advancement of personal wealth becomes more difficult. Simultaneously, if retention and assembly of wealth is the priority, liberty and freedom ideologues become impediments. Again, MAGA within Republicanism must be crushed when money is the priority.
This internal Republican battle has been unfolding in various reference points for almost a decade now, while the internal Democrat battle was long ago decided.
The root issue within the Republican apparatus still surrounds the greatest evil. ‘The love of money is the root of all evil.’
This conflict has not yet been fully decided, yet admittedly -and thankfully- MAGA has made some significant gains. The Republican Party now has a lower income demographic and a more ideological working class base.
However, don’t be fooled. The top tier of the Republican apparatus is mostly unchanged; albeit, they are facing more entrenched ideological opposition from the awakened MAGA forces. The top tier will still sell out the base, still compromise for personal profit, and still take payment for policy.
This brings us to where we are today.
Inside the MAGA assembly, we are trying to identify which Republican leaders have shifted to the MAGA/liberty viewpoint, and which Republican leaders are playing the long game while retaining their DNA level objective – get money.
Each day on these pages, and many others, the ‘trust’ factor is raised; this is completely understandable. We have a strong muscle memory for betrayal, and we all bear the scars to remind us. It is fitting and proper that these conversations take place.
After all, it’s interesting to watch professional Republicans discuss how agencies like the DOJ and FBI have lost the institutional trust of the American people due to corruption, while simultaneously those same Republicans never note trust loss within the Republican Party as a result of their willful blindness to it.

Oxerxes is fabulous.
Very butch..
Oxerxes???? Please explain.
Ma’am, have you seen the movie “300”?
No. She did not. It’s mostly a guy flick.
I’ve seen it several times. Great movie.
You are right but perhaps for a different reason. I was eager to watch it and soldiered through to the end, but was completely turned off by all the special effects.
To this day, I remember it vaguely as a cartoon, because I had been anticipating seeing some really great performances.
To this day two of my favorite movies are still the 1956 version of “War and Peace,” and David Lean’s 1965, “Doctor Zhivago.”
It’s a wordplay on the Obama picture in the writeup. Obama is depicted as Xerxes, the leader of Persia who fought the Spartans. Watch the movie, 300, for context
Leonidas famously told Xerxes “Molon Labe!”
That’s exactly how I feel. You want my independence…Molon Labe.
We had a treeper here who was a great contributor and her handle was Molon Lobe
I think I’ve seen her comment a little. Told her I love her handle.
Concatenation of O’Bama and Xerxes – a Persian King – said to be the king in the book of Esther.
If that is so, I think that “concatenation” of Xerxes (of the Book of Esther) would not have listened to Esther but would have let “Haman the Magnificent” go ahead with his plan. Haman would be Eric Holder.
Thank everyone for my branch in the Treehouse, I recieve acorns of knowledge all the time.🍻
Ditto, from someone who has been hopelessly out of touch with mainstream culture for most of my life.
Obama + Xerxes.
Pronounced : Zerk-zies.
NO CR to sustain the existing fiscal rot …. The Republicans who CONTROL both sides of Congress could PASS an Actual Budget Authorization Bill, during regular order based on President Trump’s Budget Proposal submitted (by law) in March 2025.
The Professional Republicans need to have a fiscal CR passed just as much as the Democrats do … to preserve the fiscal rot they have also contributed since 2009.
Once President Trump signs THAT BILL it becomes the Budget ACT (Law) … it would reset the CR baseline for future CR’s that ARE COMING.
The bottom line is that Professional Republicans WANT TO and WILL SIGN a CR … but never pass a proper Budgetary Bill.
The CR wrangling is Kabuki Theater … so the President needs to badly damage ALL DOGE targets before the CR is passed for him to sign.
The only hope at this point, before 2026 and 2028, is the crazed Marxist Democrats overplaying their hand by scaring the Professional Republicans into realizing that the collaborating Professional Republicans are also among those who will lined up against the wall with the other supporters of President Trump as PUBLICLY promised by Congress members: Schiff, Swalwell, Blumenthal, Jeffries, the Squad, et al.
Think STRATEGICALLY v/v 2026 Election …. The CR could likely become the mechanism to aid the Republicans in throwing the 2026 Mid-Terms.
The President and his Team also have to act in way that gives them some feasible defense in Court … hence things are not going quite as fast as we would like.
Assume President Trump gets enough time to wreck havoc on the DOGE Targets before the CR arrives on his desk for signature.
As soon as he signs the CR, which may NOT have any provisions to preserve his actions … the President may actually be signing a BILL into LAW that justifies the existence of ALL the stuff he just cut which contradicts the changes he has just made. Hopefully the President is work a couple of Veto’s into the process in an attempt to gain some provisions to support his actions in the CR.
The Republicans sit back and watch the Federal Law suits, from the cheap seats, to force the President to RESTORE every change and cut he makes …. they play the same “do nothing” and “democrat action support” cards that lost them the 2018 Mid-Terms.
H.R. 5371, the CR for 1 Oct – 22 Nov passed the House but was rejected by the Senate. Nothing in there like you suggested. There is some new health care stuff in Divisions B through D; seems largely pushing Kennedy’s wish list items. In particular Division C Title 5 “Over-the-Counter Monograph Drug User Fee Amendments”.
IT IS A CR … that means it does not break the cycle that CONGRESS, both parties, uses to fund stuff that is not needed, to create Piggy Banks and preserve lines for future use as piggy banks.
We can lay the fault for the $37T in debt on the doorstep of Congress’ 18-year CR-OMNIBUS cycle, STARTING WITH ADDING THE 2009 $1T “Stimulus Bill” into the 2015 Baseline Budget, & every year thereafter, not to mention all the COVID crap. Unreal.
Well, Congress would need to create an entire new process. As it currently exists, there is an enacted budget and the OBBB Act modified it.
The issue is not a “budget” but authorizing policies and programs within the confines of the budget, and then appropriating any funds required for the authorized programs.
From what I see, the House wants to appropriate within the budget, the Senate Dems do not. Neither side is willing at this point to compromise, or even move the battle past 1 Oct (the Rs are willing to move the battle to November via a CR for now).
NOPE … the process already exists!!!!
The CONGRESS has FAILED to use the process since 2009 in order to preserve ALL the fiscal rot built into the process.
By NOT following regular order process, the budget lines from previous Authorization ACTS get to linger on as each succeeding spending BILL is a CR (preserves old BS) + specifically crafted Omnibus Bills that creates NEW BS. The end results is a huge growing mountain of never ending spending lines. This is exactly what DOGE found in one of its deep dives in DoD and other Federal entities …. there were literally 1,000’s of lines covering discontinued projects STILL BEING FUNDED.
In march of each year … the President, by law submits a Budget Proposal. Congress debates, adjusts and negotiates a BUDGET based on THAT Proposal for the next fiscal year, i.e. 1 October. That way there is a CLEAR Break Fiscal Year to Fiscal Year on the list of defined AUTHORIZED Budget Lines.
As it stands today …. every Budget Line created since 2009 + those in the FY2008 Budget ARE still eligible to have budget put against them … for use as CONGRESS sees fit Authorize by law.
They’re working on the Budget. It has 12 components and apparently 3 are complete. The reason for the CR is to complete the other 9 over the next few months. I’m anxious to see if they can actually get there. But they certainly can’t if they start making deals before the process is over. And that is why they have a clean CR, to continue the work to get a real Budget.
None of them want a REAL BUDGET. They want to play these brinkmanship, and will NOT finish those other 9 Appropriations bills. We should badger them and make it clear that we will NOT put up with this crap anymore.
ITS OUR MONEY, NOT THEIRS!
She’s not always a favorite of mine, but MTG was just on Bannon’s War Room preaching exactly what Sundance has said here. God bless her for her rant.
Aside from the Palantir trades, what’s your trouble with MTG? She’s come round in my observations..
Bought and paid for, inauthentic, opportunist, low IQ, self-interested, often co-opted to go against PDJT in the name of “purity.”
She’s full of crap.
Don’t agree, at all. The amount of crap thrown at her from the Swamp, could you handle it?
That’s part of the manipulation.
She had sex with McCarthy. That is sleeping with the traitor. You trust that? Come on get real
OMG….the mental image is making me sick…
McCarthy was a failed Republican leader but he is great in bed. I don’t know this from personal knowledge but a little bird told me. lol
Not 100% sure she’s the right gender for McCarthy🤔
So if she slept with Gaetz? That would be OK?
That basically describes nearly every member of the lower chamber.
You can say the same about her opponents.
Bought? … By whom?
Inauthentic? How?
Self-interested? Who isn’t?
Co-opted? By whom?
P. Trump is never wrong?
I never paid her much mind…thought she was basically performative whiskey tango from down south….then I saw her interview with Megyn Kelly back in August (ep1131?)….and I’ve done a 180…..definitely somebody I’d like to have beers or go to the range with……..
Yep. My gut-mind access believes her, now.
Would definitely go to range with her.
And she would accidentally shoot you
https://newrepublic.com/post/201074/marjorie-taylor-greene-donald-trump-epstein-vote
She was part of the Epstein attack.
Quit being easily slaughteed
That’s what he just described the purpose of the reps.
To trick you into turning your back or ear on them.
Zero reason to talk good or bad about her. She is nothing, and nothing we say matters about her.
She will slither until you think she isn’t a snake, so she can be in a position when needed
She has come around, but her fawning over our previous worthless Speaker was freaking crazy.
Yeah that was bad. I think she might have seen some things as of late that “scared the fool” out of her as Granddad, who hailed from Cleveland, TN would have surely quipped.
She is positioning to gain trust to be used later.
No one changes
I used to be a drunk a**hole..
Fair enough.
Yes, that was bizarre.
No I w as her hormones that overrode her ability to conceal her bullshit
“She’s not always a favorite of mine, but MTG was just on Bannon’s War Room preaching exactly what Sundance has said here. God bless her for her rant.”
MTG. The AOC of the GOP.
Fool you once, fool u again
More brains and better looking.
And much less communist.
Here is a comment by House Speaker Mike Johnson that gives some perspective:
“Don’t ask the Republicans what we should be doing or what we should be negotiating. I don’t have anything to negotiate,” Johnson told reporters Thursday. “I sent them in good faith exactly what they had voted for before. We did not put any Republican provisions in that, and we tried to make this very simple, in good faith, so the appropriations process of the people can continue.”
Despite voting for nearly the same bill a total of 13 times during the Biden administration, Senate Democrats have continued to vote down Republicans’ clean Continuing Resolution that would extend government funding for only seven weeks.
“There’s nothing I can pull out of the bill that was a Republican priority to say that ‘oh, we won’t do that, why don’t you guys vote for it now,’ Johnson said. “I am stunned that [Democrats] decided to shut the government down and hurt people. It is on them 100%.”
Shut-up Johnson and start some District Court Judge impeachment trials and then re-write the rule of engagement for the inferior courts.
He isn’t on your team.
He is happy with Dems fracturing their party.
PT has given these folks (R’s and D’s) no reason to trust him because he is too impulsive.
Democrats are likely thinking even if they agree to the clean bill, PT and his administration are going to make those cuts, anyways. It’s all outlined in Project 2025, and that’s been the playbook since the new year.
Democrats are doing the right thing by sitting on their hands and watching the house of cards fall – they aren’t the ones making the final decision.
Water is dry
Still trying to make your side look like the good guys huh? The Dems have burned and are still burning as we speak, too many bridges to make anyone think they’re seriously the good guys. They made their slimy bed and now they can reap what they have sown. Talk a bout no reason to trust them, lol. Your side wins the prize for that one.

go back to bluesky travis
They are all in on it making huuuugggeeee $$$$$$. Yes our beloved TRUMP is getting very fat off this all his family benefit HUUUGGGLLLLYYYYYYYY. The kids are in it 100% Kushner persuing the Abraham Accord. IF they weren’t all in on it they would fix it. We are simply TAX CATTLE that owes Trillions our very REAL ESTATE guarantees funding from the big banks. Donald could simply knock out the FED and we could raise our living standards by 20% but that would lower theirs and will never happen. ITS ABOUT THE $$$$$$$$$.
I retract the above after listening to Eric Trump I believe they do want to heal America please accept my apology.
You’re being naive if you think ending the fed would gain us 20% on our living standards.
I have to disagree to the idea that Dems want control, but Repubs want the money. You may characterize the Democrats as wanting control, but that control gives them unlimited access to stealing tax $$.
The Kimmel example proves my point. He is earning millions $ and I think the money is the real reason he was upset.
Dang. Don’t you think he would have enough put away by now? You can only spend so much.
And you can’t take it with you!
It’s an addiction, not subject to morals or reason.
I would tend to agree. Dems want power to obtain wealth and with control, able to keep and expand that wealth. All under the guise of ideology. The Reps want money to obtain power to accumulate additional wealth. Again, utilizing an ‘ideology’ as cover. Bottom line is=wealth coupled with control/power needed keep and expand that wealth. To me, it’s akin to a feudal system with the serfs given an illusion of choice…….
Yep. Before Trump I printed a red T-shirt asking if it was Republican red or communist red cause from where I sit you really couldn’t tell the difference in the results for a majority. It’s in the closet now.
Because their $ is obtained through corruption, they also need power to prevent any legal consequences (controlling DA’s and judges).
They could care less if we recycle, wear masks or drive electric cars. They may use those ideas to push for policies that allow them to steal $ though. I don’t think their quest for control/power is anything more than that – self-protection.
After seeing their recent antics regarding Charlie Kirk and anti-ICE comments, I don’t even think they are trying to pretend they have an ideology.
I think with Kimmel it’s the upscale Hollywood crowd that he runs with, more than the cash.
He doesn’t want to be seen as a failure now, in front of those people.
Perhaps afraid of being seen as ‘past his prime’.
He was hoping (in his mind), to ride out like Johnny Carson.
He’s the new nutty Howard Stern.
His child lived. That’s it
I’ve always viewed Sundance’s power v. money idea as a distinction without a difference. I think he mischaracterizes the left, which views itself much the same as a left version of the Tea Party movement, with the candidacy of Sanders exhibit 1. The left views the DEMe as just a bunch of money-seeking pols in a uni-party, not interested in policies (the biggest ones being “medicare-for-all” and “tax-the-rich”).
The lefties would be happy to get rid of ACA insurance plans and the subsidies and put us all on Medicaid and eliminate all private medical insurance (they love whom they call “Saint Luigi”).
No. You are discussing something very interesting and different. There are three or more diff tea party like groups in the dem party, with none submitting.
This party will freaking die in months
The Democrats in the Legislature enter politics relatively poor but somehow all end up millionaires by the time they retire or go to jail. I can’t think of one who didn’t, so they don’t reject wealth.
AOC and Ilhan are already multi-millionaires. It doesn’t take till retirement because there are literally trillion$ at stake, and for the take.
I remember when AOC was crying about not being able to rent a place in DC….
Thank you Sundance for the clear picture to remind us of political motives among the elected.
Boots on the ground observation: Energy assistance is an enlarged subsidy thanks to the Green New Deal. And one that is exploited to keep the homes of illegal migrants warm in winter. However, this service benefit is entwined with real Americans living on SSI who are in need of energy assistance. Making it difficult to unwind without causing harm to our seniors. The government shut down threatened this benefit, as the Moonbat leftists plead their case.
I noticed this morning that the application for assistance changed overnight. It’s not the perfect fix, but appears to me as a move to put a big dent in subsidizing illegal households. Now every family member (children too) has to be identified with a SSI number in order to apply. Not just a head of household. It’s a start.
I love Russ Vought taking a scalpel to the infestation in our tax subsidies. His work should bring pain to the energy companies who sold out to the GND ideology of windmills and solar too. Subsidizing our local energy company to forfeit water power for windmills more than doubled the cost of energy to households. And became another freebee to illegals receiving energy cost benefits through community services. Deeply infested corruption.
Please permit me one correction based on my experience in my state – change “ illegal migrants” to all POC except some on reservations. This is part of the great extirpation of “generational wealth.” This is the true reason why only one group is not allowed to have a community organization.
”The love of money is the root of all evil.’ Should read all KINDS of evil. There are a myriad of sins that have nothing at all to do with money.
It’s not money, per se. It’s what some people will DO to get it.
The biggest one to me is Ishmael and Isaac. We see that played out today when men leave their families to make their fortune in the US. The monies sent home dwindles then disappears. The wife packs up the kids and comes searching not knowing what she will find. She may need to battle an unlawful imprisonment or file a wrongful death lawsuit. What she finds is that the husband has remarried and started a new family. The two wives hate each other. They teach the children to hate each other. The grandchildren are taught to hate each other.
https://hotair.com/ed-morrissey/2025/10/03/wsj-trump-admin-signals-deal-possible-on-obamacare-subsidies-n3807458
White House hinting it will cave on Obamacare subsidies.
The image of that father with his children is iconic and emblematic of one of the most basic and innate human ideals-hope. But the expression on his face, coupled with the hand holding overlays a visceral sense of trust and desire. Leaders, true leaders, inspire. DJT, well, I’m glad that I lived to experience this time.
This explains why in spite of death and injury to children, there have been no substantive changes to the childhood vaccine schedule, nor changes to the laws granting big pharma protection against liability. It’s all about money.
In Wild West California the surest way for a prospector to get murdered by claim-jumpers was to find gold and file a claim instead of mining in secret, (like they did in Treasure of the Sierra Madre).
In Don Corleone New York the surest way to get murdered was to have a prosperous family business and refuse to pay protection money to the mob, (like they did in The Godfather and The Untouchables).
MAGA people understand that the Uniparty does what the mob and the claim-jumpers did…they murder and imprison whoever gets in their way. MAGA people, (like CTH readers), are well-informed and MOONBATS, (like my sister), are clueless, so as the MAGA population increases and the MOONBAT population decreases, accumulating power and money become harder for the government claim-jumpers/Mob to do, so they do their best to dumb down the U.S. population by importing MOONBATS from other lands and take kickbacks from drug traffickers and sex traffickers.
That’s it in a nutshell…MAGAS and MOONBATS, claim-jumpers and the Mob!
And that’s what Trump is dealing with!
This morning’s “Wall Street Journal” – article on the front page, far right column:
“Trump Threatens Cuts as Political Weapon”
One item immediately comes to mind from the days of the PMC (Past Master of Crappiness), when the State of North Carolina decided to not abide by his new bathroom rule that he came up with where girls had to share their bathrooms with the boys in all schools. So the University of North Carolina was threatened with the withholding of federal funds.
How was that even considered a valid thing to do, coming up with that “order” to be instituted across the fruited plain? (It’s Friday, when I especially remember Rush and his Open Line Fridays so I threw in “fruited plain”).
Then, to remind everyone that the “federal funds” were likely monies that should have been kept in the states anyway, why does the federal government have so much anyway to squander on foreign entanglements and USAID projects?
Of course they will look like “political cuts” … because it’s democrat run States and Municipalities that have received the largest amounts of money paid by actions covered under fraud, waste and abuse provisions of the law …. as well as where the vast majority of money laundering entities have been established by Fiscally Created-Mandated Congressional Budget Acts.
Notice the locations for all the Federal Lawsuits vs Presidential Fiscal EO’s.
Once the CR Kabuki Theater performance reaches its final Act, with the Democrats and Republicans signing a CR Bill for the President to sign … the President needs to push a few rounds of VETO’S to get some provisions added that PRESERVE as many of the cuts and changes his Team is able to make during the “shut down” .. as is possible.
Once the CR becomes LAW via his signature … that CR will justify the existence of every thing single item cut and every change that is NOT covered by a “preserving clause” written into the CR being signed … BY LAW. (i.e. It creates a contradiction to the President’s actions that can be used in court.)
This will set up:
Continence of Federal Cases involving existing Fiscal related Executive Orders, for items NOT covered by a “preserving clause”.
Start of NEW Cases to restore items cut and decisions made NOT covered by “preserving clauses”.
Render MOOT existing and new cases for items covered by “preserving clauses” because those actions by the President’s Team become LAW passed by Congress as part of the CR ACT.
I’m currently listening to Promethean Action’s Q & A from yesterday, and this question tells me this guy, Paul, has not been paying attention nor reading Sundance’s expose’s on the deep state that has infiltrated both congress and senate.
I think if people only read two sites they should be:
https://theconservativetreehouse.com/
https://www.prometheanaction.com/
“Out of a group of 1,000 Democrats, 900+ will join in to defend a weakened Moonbat leftist (see Kimmel).
Out of a group of 1,000 Republicans, you will find, maybe, 5 willing to cover your back regardless of how much bribery is put in front of them.”
If this were true, it would mean that almost all our fellow Americans, and even more so Republicans, are beneath contempt.
Color me not yet persuaded, not ready to give up on such a large portion of humanity.
How many letters did you write your reps about J6 or Tina Peters? How much money have you personally contributed to them?
Sundance is not wrong.
This is not about me.
And let me remind you – this is no trial and you are no judge.
Granted, it is easier for leftist “ideologues” to provide support to popular causes.
The entire media apparatus tells them who to support and cheers them on and provides the Boy Scout badges for doing so. Ukraine, Climate Change, George Floyd, Kilmar, etc. woo! Look at me! TPTB say I am good!!
Supporting J6 will likely get you on a terrorist watch list and an IRS audit.
I didn’t support j6 because I didn’t want to die.
Secretly yes
I think this quote was directed at leadership and not the public at large. After all, the public does not generally have access to bribery money from the leftist in front of them.
I think it’s been clear to a lot of people, certainly not enough though, that we have a 2 party system ever since Trump came along. We have the Democrat/Republican Party and the Trump Party. We have been here for quire a while. We maintain the system by voting for these Republicans. And the Trump Party has quite a few members. Unfortunately Trump is also Republican but without a choice.
The question is, how do we get out of this dreadful mess? Even if we vote for seemingly good people on the way up, they screw us when they get to the top.
Relentlessly fundraise for lawsuits to sue state GOP organizations that squash new GOP members (as in FL), so that we can’t change the control of the state GOP.
We must RAISE MONEY.
My democrat state attorney general is willing to join others to file suits against our President but I notice that she never names any Republican (or Democrat) predecessors for the disgusting leasing of our farmlands and the water to foreign countries – the only nation named in media is Saudi Arabia who has long leases to grow fodder for their cattle which they don’t have enough water over there to do. Apparently the Saudis have really great attorneys because she’s failed to oust them and their depletion of water table has caused the nearest town to sink 3.5 feet in the last 15 years IIRC and nobody’s talking about the damage to the structural integrity of the homes those not wealthy families live in.
I heard our Senator Mark Kelly at a cross border celebration for the new super entryway into the nation at Douglas AZ. The Senator boasted that illegal entry of illegal drugs will be totally ended by this new border facility. I choked on my beverage when I heard this. Print media protected him by not duplicating his ridiculous boasts in their articles. I believe that this will be the same superhighway that was rejected loudly by Texas years ago and I’m super angry about this super border entry. I’m sure there are very smart people who will work around the technology and make it a super highway for illicit products and human. If not they are proficient making tunnels and transporting large amounts of people or products can be masked by the sound of traffic overhead.
The desert is just as fragile as tundra and so much of it has been paved over – honestly I feel that much more of the state should have been made protected lands unable to be built on. Hope someone is tracking the grift off this endeavor. Those grifters need to subsidize our future needs for water and I want to know how much the massive loss of our farmlands has contributed to making food unaffordable for us. I used to get to meet the people growing our food and they loved being appreciated.
Also a huge number of Americans are now afflicted with fatty liver disease and I believe that ultra processed foods are a contributor for sure but I also believe that the corporate giants farming our food aren’t being held accountable with testing for aflatoxins in their food products and I suspect that is the true major source of all this fatty liver. Thanks for giving me space to rant.
In other words…trust no one but Jesus.
Uniparty= Power+Wealth
“They sell defeat to the highest bidder.”
Which is why, imho, we have to bring back, and enforce the death penalty for treason—at ALL levels!
Once RINOS know there’s SERIOUS consequences for their evil behaviors, maybe they’ll think twice about betraying WTP!!!
I have to disagree with Sundance on PART of his statement:
“Democrats quest for power; Republicans quest for money.”
BOTH parties want money. Heck EVERYBODY wants money…. don’t you?
Case in point: the Clinton Foundation, the Obama Foundation, AOC’s wealth, Omar’s 30 million, Pelosi’s insider trading. No, democrats want money just as much as the republicans.
However, the democrats definitely want power and the ability to control us, the useless GOP, not so much.
At this point, I have NO idea why the GOP even exists. They don’t stand for ANYTHING…. not really.
Just my two cents…
“This is also why it seems like Democrats stick together, and Republicans split. Democrats are chasing a common goal, a collective goal – power. Republicans are chasing a commonality, yes, but an individual goal – money, their wealth.”
I think what he is saying is the objective…Power…is the same….
The path to that objective is different….
Both paths complement each other…like Ying and Yang…
Hence, each side feeds off the other pursuit of thew same objective….
It’s a symbiotic relationship…
Which is why both sides are threatened when something comes along to upset the balance…
You get it and so does that person.
Reps could live in an American first country and still get rich
Dems couldn’t
“At this point, I have NO idea why the GOP even exists.”
Centralized gov came from who
That’s the point
COVID passports
Energy dependent
Open borders
Religion removed
Family targeted
Norms twisted
It came from the uni-party.
I don’t remember the GOP kicking and screaming anytime the left did what they did…. not really.
The republicans either put up a fake and weak opposition OR they remain mute and go along with it.
There’s very little difference between these two parties.
There is something that most people seem to be missing. Maybe even President Trump.
“As of September 2024, [military] veterans made up approximately 24% of the federal government’s civilian workforce, according to Pew Research Center analysis of Office of Personnel Management (OPM) data.
This is
significantlyfar-far-far higher than the 5% of the overall U.S. civilian labor force who are [military] veterans. ”What does this mean? It means that if the layoffs are evenly spread across the federal government, military veterans will be hardest hit and by far. Maybe people should remember this if they are gloating over the layoffs and dreaming of the bigger the better.
Give that girl some Spanx, soon those girls are going to be on her knees, just say in!
Once we CRUSH the Democrat party….
Give it to the RINO filth….
Maybe they can feed off that carcass….
“Buzzards gotta eat, same as the worms”..
So, republicans self-neuter for bribes. But it appears that the leftist dems are the ones more greatly increasing in personal wealth. Or is that not actually the case? We need a Big Beautiful Audit of politicians financial gain while in office, to shed some sunlight on the situation. And perhaps a new party of MEN not willing to part with their balls for money.
Politicians really are the lowest scum of the earth.
I have a slight quibble with Sundance.
“Modern Democrats, post Obama takeover, are now pure ideologues.”
They are NOT pure “ideologues”, in the sense they give a flying F’ about any cause they espouse. They will change their ideological “beliefs” on a dime.
But I also quibble with previous posters who say that the leftist
want of power is due to an ultimate want of MONEY.
There is a slight difference between those who ALREADY have power and want to maintain it, versus the rubes that follow them.
The power that leftists want is not money, but PRIDE. The kind God hates.
Elizabeth Warren or AOC have no core values and will sell out climate change or immigrants in a heart-beat. Sundance is right, they don’t do it PURELY for money, they do it for the power to BE somebody.
Republicans IN POWER do it for the money.
Warren believes she is a liberated woman who loves the s@x that she exchanges for the power the money itbrings her. .
Republicans are shameless whores.
Their goal is destroying America
Then why won’t they live the Communist utopia where everyone will live in an equitable society? Think Pocahontas or Sanders signed on for that?
They never will give up their luxuries and riches It’s the money that makes them superior and special. There are no poor communist and or totalitarian leaders.
I completely agree with you.
My quibble was with Sundance’s use of the term ideologue and I’m not disagreeing with him either
It’s a subtle but important point. They left are all on point with “believing” the nonsense they spew.
Schumer and Pelosi don’t “believe” any more than the GOP does. Theirs is shameless theft, greed and opportunism. They think you are stupid marks.
I’m not going to waste many words making my point other than to say that the AOC Liz Warren types believe what they preach on a level that is different and harder to encapsulate.
They believe that it is what everyone must/should/
agree on or be shunned from the hive. It gives them power to enforce it. They don’t believe the crap they spew, they believe everyone must be forced to believe it.
Okay, I thought of a better way to express it:
Democrats like the Clinton, Pelosi, Schumer types, are like the gang that takes over the neighborhood and establishes their turf to rob the locals.
The GOP are like the cops and people who are supposed to protect you but for a cut of the profits will gladly look away.
If you aren’t a member of the their gang., the AOC’s will all come running in and kick you while you are down and steal your wallet because you aren’t wearing the right gang colors.
So we know from previous events that at least some of the hard core GOPe Senators are McConnell, Grassley, Collins, Murkowski, Thune, Ernst, Cornyn, Graham, Johnson, Moran, Tillis…..who else from the Republican side is a member of the GOPe cabal?. How many senators are true MAGA in orientation?. Hawley, Mullin??
Has the MAGA movement really made enough of a dent in the GOPe to destroy the rot in the Republican wing of the Uniparty and Split the Uniparty in two?
Tom Cotton and that Lankford guy from OK are definitely sellouts, along with ones from Idaho and Wyoming. We need to get Hagemann into the Senate in WY. Schmitt, the other Senator from MO, gets a lot of credit for being a right populist and not Uniparty.
Mullin, yes. Hawley? Not sure.
I’ve been following you since 2017. I’ve been a lifelong Republican. Trumps first term opened my eyes to the workings of the Party thanks in part to your article like the one above and the many regarding our corrupt Senate. It was actually liberating because it freed me from the left/right paradigm and made it easy to ignore the propaganda. Now I look at it from a higher elevation. Unfortunately, I think the MAGA movement is a bump in the road and isn’t changing the direction we’re heading. Not as long as the masses are being fed leftist propaganda from the media/Hollywood.
We’ll make use of the time you got
The Bible isn’t wrong about the Last Days. Israel becoming a nation again in 1948 kicked off the Last Days.
Sadly, I agree with you about MAGA being a (very welcome) bump in the road. God continues to bring in the harvest during PDJT’s reign.
I am so grateful to have a Sundance to explain stuff to me.
This commentary makes me think of Judas Iscariot. Judas sold out for 30 pieces of silver–the price of a slave I am told–but after seeing Jesus condemned, Judas threw down the money to the priest who had bought his soul and then went hanging himself. The dogs were eating Judas’ dead body lying on the ground that was so heavy it had broken the limb that he hanged himself on as Jesus was carrying the cross to His crucifixion. Those following along to watch Jesus crucified quieted down a little bit with the “crucify, crucify Him” as they followed on to Golgotha after seeing those wild dogs eating Judas.
WSJ: Trump Admin Signals Deal Possible on ObamaCare Subsidies
Advisers are worried that the GOP will take the blame for allowing healthcare subsidies to expire, raising costs for millions of Americans ahead of next year’s midterm elections, according to administration officials.
Ending the subsidies would result in higher premiums for more than 20 million people. Of the 75 congressional districts where at least 10% of the population is enrolled in the Affordable Care Act, 62 are in red-leaning Florida, Georgia and Texas, according to Kaiser Family Foundation, a healthcare-policy think tank. More than half of the 62 districts in those states are represented by Republicans.
https://hotair.com/ed-morrissey/2025/10/03/wsj-trump-admin-signals-deal-possible-on-obamacare-subsidies-n3807458
More than half of those districts may be represented by Republicans, but probably 80% or more of those people on subsidies vote Democrat, not Republican.
Again, are we witnessing the stupid party in action?
Morrissey is a RINO and no fan of Trump, so take it for what it’s worth from him.
Democrats at least identify themselves as the enemy of civilized governance; but republicans in name only are silent serpents waiting to strike when the right deal pleases them. Nothing worse than a traitor motivated by greed. Nothing.
Name names.
Lankford ($) Ok
Mullins ($) Ok
Anne Wagner ($) Mo
Sam Graves ($) Mo
Another Vote Fails: Shutdown Continues
Senate Democrats blocked another attempt to end the government shutdown on Friday afternoon.
The House-passed bill (H.R. 5371) failed in the Senate by a vote of 54-44.
The Democrats’ counter proposal (S. 2882) also failed by a vote of 46-52.
The shutdown continues – no end in sight.
No one does it better…
BREAKING NEWS: John Kennedy Points Finger Squarely At AOC As The Government Shutdown Rages On
Although it’s a clever chiasmus, the socialists I know are obsessed with money, power and status, so I think a more accurate way is to say that whilst Republicans are corruptible the Dems are corrupted.
Left is losing its’ mind over this Dilley meme, posted to Tump’s account:
Yes, Harry, you are.
That is EPICALLY AWESOME!!! Well done, Dilley Meme Team 😀
Yeah, he did it all by himself. Like, he has no media team to drum these things up. He’s flying solo up there in DC.
Wonderful. To one of the greatest songs of all time.
Is this: “If liberty and freedom become the priority, the advancement of personal wealth becomes more difficult” really true though?
Yeah, it’s easier to cheat but the long game has much greater potential.
Look at how screwed up Europe is. China is communist and can only achieve so much under such a restricted system. If we unleashed the power of the US with the goal of empowering people to succeed and live in a safe environment, then the upside is beyond tremendous. Congress can still make their money with insider trading on a booming stock market and easily get re-elected because of a great economy.
Republicans could lead, grow our economy, enhance our culture AND make lots of money in doing so. They’ve been brainwashed that being the controlled opposition is easier money. It may be easier but it’s not the highest upside. So, maybe Republicans are not just greedy, but lazy as well.
Trump’s policies can create immense prosperity. We need to raise our morality and sense of service to maintain it. Can that be done in 3 years? The odds are against us.
While the Dems like power, they certainly don’t object to money. Having money means they can be powerful.
Look at how the Dems enrich themselves.
I would refine the claim to say that RINOs primarily wish to protect their jobs, which require donor money. Yes, it helps them to enrich themselves personally, but retaining the seat is the ultimate priority. In addition, some DO crave the power too.
Notice the projection of the president’s critics like Lawrence O’Donnell on MSNBC:
We are clearly seeing madness pouring from the darkness of Donald Trump’s mind.
What I hear from Lawrence and his ilk on mainstream media is a flood of hatred pouring out of their mouths under the guise of journalism revealing what is in their hearts and minds. It is a reflection on them and not on what the president is trying to do to fix the mess in the USA.
Nope. I disagree. There has not been a dangerous organization in American history as the Democrat party. It has been a rabid evil from it’s inception. It created Lawfare in the 1800s to violate the constitutional rights of Americans especially of Black Republicans. Then it went on to murder all the black republican leaders so it can create a majority Democrat country. The state of affairs we have come directly from the vile and murderous Democrat party violent occupation of the USA.
My husband was watching Newsmax earlier. Newsmax did that thing they do when they want to codify democrats and pressure the republicans. The chyron had a sentence of an opinion poll that states 57% of MAGA supporters want Obamacare subsidies to continue. Maybe extending them for Americans but I cannot imagine a MAGA voter wanting the republicans to cave to the democrats giving illegal aliens Obamacare subsides just so that they can keep theirs. I am having a hard time reconciling this poll with MAGA philosophy.
I still get a little frustrated making sense of it all. Growing up the characterizations were the Republicans were the greedy rich ones, the “Alex P. Keaton” image.
But I came to notice all the limousine liberals and noted how the far majority of country club neighborhoods in my town put out democrat yard signs. Then I also see how Pelosi, Sanders, Omar, et al, have become obscenely rich in their time of public service.
But yet it’s the Republicans who exist for acquiring money?
I have said it all along, the democrats are doing what they are suppose to do. The real problem is RINOs in the Republican Party!
Yes, the do nothing Republicans and administration officials with the sleight of hand of taking money and obfuscating the transfer of power to the malevolent. If only the electorate could actually prove it and expose it when it happens.
Sen Joni Ernst offers cut suggestions to “Russ the Reaper”…
Actually, it’s an excellent list of the waste although it doesn’t focus on Democrat NGOS and activist groups at all?
“Republicans do not simply snatch defeat from the jaws of victory; they sell defeat to the highest bidder!”
Nailed it. And stolen …
This breakdown is beyond excellent and deserves periodic reposting. As more people get this the Republican party will be transformed into the MAGA party – it’s only a matter of time and focus. The decepticons have always been the problem. The left couldn’t get away with half their crap if the jokers on the right didn’t assist in some way or another.
I cannot help it but every time I see Speaker Johnson, I see Alfred E. Neuman. Maybe it’s because I was a big Mad Magazine collector.
