The professionally Republican wing of the GOPe want this shutdown ended just as much as the professionally Democrat wing. The UniParty cannot allow Trump/Vought this much power. Republicans cannot allow Trump this much power.
The Moonbat leftists are not the biggest problem, they never have been. They are ideologues, mostly. Insufferable, stupid, violent at times, but easy to spot.
Remember, Democrats quest for power; Republicans quest for money. Always underline this because it’s really important.
The Moonbat leftists seek power, seek control of your life, and they are open in their insufferably stupid arguments to get there. When they start to lose, they turn violent. This is their history.
That said, they are not the most dangerous.
The professional Republicans are more dangerous, because their priority is money. As a result, their approaches, goals, objectives and arguments can be purchased.
Republicans have no interests, goals or objectives, nor allegiances, that supersede their primary objective – getting money, and growing their wealth.
Democrats will come at you with a knife, a gun or a baseball bat. You can see them. The professional Republican guy standing beside you, however, is willing to take a payment to shoot you in the ear when you don’t see it coming.
This is also why it seems like Democrats stick together, and Republicans split. Democrats are chasing a common goal, a collective goal – power. Republicans are chasing a commonality, yes, but an individual goal – money, their wealth.
Donors contribute to the Democrat agenda because their interest is to benefit from power. Republicans modify their agenda to benefit donors, because their goal is money.
Democrats stay on task, power. Republicans are flexible, money.
You enter a war against Leftists with extreme danger. However, the danger is not the war in front of you, it’s the army beside you waiting to get a payment from the enemy in front of you.
Out of a group of 1,000 Democrats, 900+ will join in to defend a weakened Moonbat leftist (see Kimmel).
Out of a group of 1,000 Republicans, you will find, maybe, 5 willing to cover your back regardless of how much bribery is put in front of them.
Remember this, understand this and the reality of who presents the most danger to us is accurately framed.
Republicans do not simply snatch defeat from the jaws of victory; they sell defeat to the highest bidder!
In our lifetime we have watched this unfold.
There were Democrats with the same outlook as Republicans; they were known as “blue dog” democrats. The Blue Dogs were willing to compromise power, to sell power, in return for financial payment.
Traditional ‘Blue Dogs’ were names like Hillary and Bill Clinton; their prism was the assembly of money. However, this group faced the introduction of hardline ideological believers – the communists or Marxists represented by Barack Obama.
Obama Inc. battled Clinton Inc. to determine the future of the Democrats. The ideologues won, and the democrat Blue Dogs in their tribe, those willing to concede ideology for money, were purged from their ranks. Modern Democrats, post Obama takeover, are now pure ideologues.
“By any means necessary” is the operational objective of modern leftists. This is why government under Obama flipped the switch so openly and began weaponizing power. Purging govt agencies and replacing the staff with ideologues. Crushing opposition, by brute force and targeting.
Simultaneously, in the smaller Republican ranks, there was a small group who wanted to face down the same battle inside the Republican Party. The original Tea Party represented this group. A smaller assembly trying to put ideology, freedom and liberty at the forefront of the Republican objective.
Unlike the leftist effort, the Tea Party effort inside the Republican Party failed. Republican leadership crushed the liberty rebellion, and went back to business taking money from the ideological Marxists who now ruled the centers of power.
People, who didn’t quite understand what was taking place, stood and watched, frustrated, at the dynamic of Republicans who conceded every battle to the left.
What the abused GOP viewers didn’t understand was the core of the issue; Democrats want power, Republicans want money.
Each time the Republicans could win on a policy issue, they sold the loss to Democrats. Battered conservatives grew more frustrated and more frustrated.
Now we enter the era of MAGA, represented by billionaire Donald J. Trump, who, like Obama before him, began the fight inside the Republican Party.
The Tea Party rebellion quickly reengaged Trump and formed MAGA; the ideological fight inside the Republican party, liberty over money, was on again.
MAGA represents opposition to the leftist ideological advancement. But the Republican assembly will not concede. In a way their resistance makes sense.
If liberty and freedom become the priority, the advancement of personal wealth becomes more difficult. Simultaneously, if retention and assembly of wealth is the priority, liberty and freedom ideologues become impediments. Again, MAGA within Republicanism must be crushed when money is the priority.
This internal Republican battle has been unfolding in various reference points for almost a decade now, while the internal Democrat battle was long ago decided.
The root issue within the Republican apparatus still surrounds the greatest evil. ‘The love of money is the root of all evil.’
This conflict has not yet been fully decided, yet admittedly -and thankfully- MAGA has made some significant gains. The Republican Party now has a lower income demographic and a more ideological working class base.
However, don’t be fooled. The top tier of the Republican apparatus is mostly unchanged; albeit, they are facing more entrenched ideological opposition from the awakened MAGA forces. The top tier will still sell out the base, still compromise for personal profit, and still take payment for policy.
This brings us to where we are today.
Inside the MAGA assembly, we are trying to identify which Republican leaders have shifted to the MAGA/liberty viewpoint, and which Republican leaders are playing the long game while retaining their DNA level objective – get money.
Each day on these pages, and many others, the ‘trust’ factor is raised; this is completely understandable. We have a strong muscle memory for betrayal, and we all bear the scars to remind us. It is fitting and proper that these conversations take place.
After all, it’s interesting to watch professional Republicans discuss how agencies like the DOJ and FBI have lost the institutional trust of the American people due to corruption, while simultaneously those same Republicans never note trust loss within the Republican Party as a result of their willful blindness to it.

Take immigration as an example, the subject is susceptible to tear jerky stories which make Americans wishy washy. However our immigration law is the protection of our labor force and national security. Every developed country needs a secure border and immigration laws to remain sovereign. The Dems and the GOP use the issue to obtain campaign contributions. The GOP pushes law and order, while the Dems provide the tear jerky. Both sides win!
The problem for the American people is that neither side really never wants to truly control our borders or enforce immigration law, until DJT. He sees the threat and is determined to do something meaningful and lasting, thus the wall and strong support for ICE/Border Patrol.
So far President Trump is winning, so let’s pray it continues.
wrong they use illegals and the voting machines to overthrow elections. and now cartels to threaten and kill who ever does not vote their way…. that is the truth…
How many remember this, below, about Jimmy Carter ? Feel so stupid, believing it in real time.
“Jimmy Carter traveled extensively around the globe to monitor and promote honest foreign elections after leaving office, beginning in 1982 with the founding of the Carter Center. Between the center’s inception and 2015, Carter led more than 100 trips to dozens of countries to observe elections, conduct negotiations, and support democratic processes. The Carter Center has monitored approximately 125 elections in 40 countries and three tribal nations since its establishment. His election monitoring efforts spanned regions including Africa, Latin America, Asia, and the Middle East, with notable missions in Panama, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Nepal, and Zimbabwe. Carter continued these international efforts for decades, with trips documented as late as 2014, such as his visit to Panama to assess election preparations.
“, from AI .
Yes, and wherever Jimmy Carter showed up to monitor an election, the leftist always won, and Jimmy declared the election “free and fair.”
“A peanut farmer from Georgia will be your next President.”
Loved him some Yassir
“He who controls the past controls the future.”
What I remember most about his post presidency is Habitat for Humanity and his speeches in other countries about how bad America was. I consider him a traitor.
Typical naval academy.
Uh…and about Kissinger and the Panama Canal….
Election monitoring was exactly election meddling and training thereof.
“Out of a group of 1,000 Republicans you will find, maybe, 5 willing to cover your back regardless of how much bribery is put in front of them.”
Regardless of how LITTLE bribery is put in front of them. They’re in it for them, not for us.
I submit that’s a characteristic of politicians, being narcissistic and power / money hungry.
And that’s why governments have to be limited, often by fire.
I submit it’s a Godless electorate which doesn’t even follow God’s original Ten Commandments!
This! ☝️
Exactly! The sooner America realizes that BOTH parties despise you and everything you stand for, and that they only care about either power or money, the sooner we can move forward with house cleaning and the restoration of our Republic.
And imagine if we banded together?
Oh wait, we did….on January 6th.
Most RINOS are really Democrats masquerading as Republicans who run for election in White suburban districts!
What exactly was he wrong about? Your response did not correspond to what was said?
The word immigration with tear jerky stories means illegal immigration. Anything after that is BS because of the obfuscation between legal and illegal immigration. One is a rip off and the other is not.
Patrol Agent did not tell any “tear jerky stories”. He said;
“the subject is susceptible to tear jerky stories which make Americans wishy washy. “
All of the above is true. No one and neither side has fixed the immigration border issue until now.
Correct. RepubliCONS would never in a trillion years bite the multinational corporate hands that feed them. Multinationals demand that the US economic engine be reduced to a “service economy” comprised mainly of open-borders slave laborers.
They *almost* succeeded.
Americans don’t seem to grasp the enormity of the UNiparty sellout to globalism that commenced last century. Our feckless gubmint sellouts came within a hair’s breadth of passing TPP to outsource all US economic policy decisions to a *foreign* entity for decades to come! ^This^ is where the greedy traitors (money) and the ideologues (power) converged with the aim to destroy our Constitutional Republic and the free world.
Enter President Trump.
Now we know why immigration and that limping service economy were Trump’s main focus out the starting gate. Globalists had planned to flood our country with millions of cheap, illegal laborers stacked like sardines into “affordable” housing developments, and use these clueless people as a battering ram to bring down any remaining vestiges of our beleaguered Constitutional Republic for their New World global reset.
Trump and MAGA *must* succeed in routing out all these compromised “elected” officials, idealogues and greedy bums alike, by once more ensuring *fair* and transparent elections.
The GOPe pushes law & order while creating more visa categories, raising the quantity & eliminating the per country caps.
What free nation can sustain unlimited immigration from ChiComs, Caste Indians & any other 3rd world shiitehole on the planet?
All my life I have noticed that the biggest and richest members of Congress were
demorats. Looks to me like the want money more than the Repubs.
Yes Sundance the democrats crave power and use money to get it, Our money.
Russ is focused on taking out the democrats pet projects which will cut some of the taxpayer money they use to regain power in 2026.
Amazing correlation between scam money and blue states
Tip of the icebergs. Chicago is nothing but icebergs from decades of Democrat dominance!
To Grumpy Grandpa: By chance, does anyone yet have a clue about the true origin of the Great Chicago Fire of 1871? Blaming it on Mrs. O’Leary’s cow smells like a leftist fabrication to me.
More likely is the belief that the fire was just another garden-variety Leftist Build Back Better Project.
Ever since the publication in 1848 of the Communist Manifesto, year in which there were massive, violent riots in all the major European capitals, including the massively destructive fire in Hamburg, Germany, we’ve seen many such Build Back Better projects. Of late, I could cite the BBB Project in Maui, HI,
as well as Pacific Palisades, CA.
Arson is possibly the greatest, unspoken weapon leftists exploit, ie., difficult to source, and cheap to create.
In Pacific Palisades the woke LAFD let it burn down while the DEI Mayor was in Africa.
They opened up space for affordable apartments for low income illegals.
YES. People are purposely being trafficked/ relocated with the ultimate goal of herding what is left of humanity into cramped, heavily surveilled “15-minute” workforce cities accessed by cattle cars.
Hijacked elections, UN’s Open Borders Pact, foreign economic development committees, coopted town planning commissions, weaponized weather calamities targeting coastal and rural communities, HAARP weather experiments disguised as climate change, the banning of gas-powered personal conveyances, blatant censorship, biological warfare, conversion to inefficient wind and solar power have all contributed toward a larger goal of centrally controlled, New World Order workforce camps.
None of this is accidental.
I look at my little town, a SW burb of Chicago…and others around the burbs…that 15 minute city is already here. Everything I “need” is here, within 5 to 10 minutes except the good paying job
yes and consider this……Chicago, when this Johnson fellow is done, will have been run for 16 years, by ‘minority’ mayors.
ya know….that Cubs “W” flag may have other meanings!
“Third world craphole” too long?
Dems also enrich themselves mightily along the way. The Dems are not missing from the top tiers of Who’s Who in CONgress among richest members. Added bonus for Dems many are low IQ , DEI hires who should be bartending or flipping burgers. So it seems like the Dems would not be in politics but solely in gangs or other forms of illegal activity, if politics were not so lucrative for people with no talent, brains or skills.
Canceling projects is good, a one-time savings. But eliminating entire departments or functions of the Federal government, which are not enumerated in the Constitution, would be far better, as the cost of employees is perpetual.
The projects are frozen not cancelled.
Looks like PT and Russ might be willing to give up this once in a lifetime advantage by just scaring the dems into signing the CR by freezing their pet projects …..instead of permanently doing away with agencies and departments that are not needed. At least they will be true to the Old Republican guard.
Hope I am wrong but this is in line with ..PT has not really followed through (yet) on major promises……Prices are still unaffordable…Gas is still too high….power bills…food…all unaffordable.
Border is closed but there are still problems with too many foreigners allowed in and there are no mass deportations.
No accountability for COVID shots….No accountability for Deep State.
How are we benefiting from Tariffs? Looks like it will be a boon and an excuse for the DC money grubbers to spend/steal more of our tax dollars. Oh but, we got to keep our “big” tax cuts right? When considering inflation, has amounted to next to nothing, same for small business tax cuts.
Small business tax cuts were never anything to brag about with the only exception being the one time expense write offs . Those tax cuts were the small bone offered so that we wouldn’t decry the “large permanent” tax cuts for corporations. Did your corporation give you a nice pay raise?
Notice how the rich are given permanent tax cuts while we peons get temporary cuts with caps ….SS…OT….Tips? By the way those new tax cuts will expire in 2029. But we will have all those corporations back here in the States and most will be using AI instead of providing citizen jobs.
AI ….another subject yet to be discussed and wholly supported by the Trump administration. The same AI that will be utilizing most of the energy from our power grids… see higher power bills…and the support structure for the surveillance state. We already are well on our way …less freedom…privacy with Digital ID complements of Noem. Next Digital Currency?
Take a guess who will utilize the tax write off on interest on new car loans…my guess it won’t be the middle class. So Glad the wealthy were given back their SALT write offs aren’t you?
The administrations quest to get lower interest rates will have a huge negative impact on savers especially Seniors who seem to be getting the short end of the stick all the way around and on both ends but that part is left unsaid. And no, Medicaid cuts just didn’t hurt illegals or the lazy but hurt many who stay at home to help their family who are sick or disabled. Just another feather in the cap of Republicans who seem to especially hate the poor among us.
Next up ….no more credits for Ocare?
What about the Ukraine war that we are supplying weapons to because we want to end that war?
PT says the economy is booming…I’m not feeling it are you? Rant over.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Eeyore Alert!
How about truth bomb that no one is admitting to.
You are 100% correct on everything including this…
“How are we benefiting from Tariffs? Looks like it will be a boon and an excuse for the DC money grubbers to spend/steal more of our tax dollars. ”
Any tariff revenue will simply be squandered like the rest of the money collected!
I’ve long said that our government has too much $ – much of it used for nefarious activities we usually don’t hear about. If we had a balanced budget and a line item veto maybe a lot of this would be fixed. However, the thieves in Congress will never not to cut off their scams.
Years and years ago I read Uncle Sugar contributed $$ to 110 countries. I’m sure there are more by now.
Let em backfill H1B deports.
To Mo: Very important point, i.e, Dems, in the main, live off taxpayer funds while Repubs, in the main, live off private sector funds. Thus when R’s “sell the defeat,” payment comes in the form of legislation favorable to a given private sector interest that has been deliberately facilitated by the Dems that “bought the defeat.” R’s then get either a piece of the taxpayer booty and or additional funding from grateful lobbyists, as well as private sector donations to the R’s non-profit, or NGO, also known as a ‘slush funds.’
Sundance said, “The professional Republican guy standing beside you, however, is willing to take a payment to shoot you in the ear when you don’t see it coming.”
What does Sundance know about the Crooks assassination attempt that he isn’t saying?
There were reports that Austin Private Wealth purchased options on as many as 12 million DJT shares just one day before the Crooks’ assassination attempt on Donald Trump. Who knew about July 13 and was trying to make money on the assassination? (And were any of them the same people who made money on the airline stocks after 9/11?)
options to buy? how woult that make money?
options to sell
If you thought the price of a stock was going to decline, you would purchase put options to make a profit on the stock’s price decline.
Regarding 9/11, it was reported that that the number of put options on United Airlines stock (UAL) was 90 times above normal between September 6 and September 10. And the number of put options on American Airlines stock was 60 times higher than normal.
I know that. Were the Austin Private Wealth options puts or calls?
Investment Firm That Allegedly “Put Options” on 12 Million Trump Stocks Day Before Assassination Attempt Blames Filing Error — Rothschild, BlackRock, Vanguard, Meta, George Bush, and Cheney Family Among Top Investors
https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2024/07/explosive-revelation-investment-firm-that-allegedly-put-options/
did they reverse-“undo” the option purchase, so they didn’t lose their purchase money?
Eric Trump seems to want to know. CNN broke precedent and covered the event, out in the middle of nowhere. Didn’t Nimarata Randhawa Haley and Mike Pompeo change their RNC plans just before 13 July 2024?
Secret Service & CIA response:
“Ahh, quit yer b#tchin!
We missed didn’t we?”
How many others knew in their ‘chilled’ bones that July 13 was made absolutely inevitable after the series of Supreme Court decisions which first appeared late June 2024, and early July 2024. Those decisions took a hammer to the Left’s only realistic hopes of stopping Goliath Trump.
Also, no one seems to have noticed that on the afternoon of July 13, 2024, it was just hours away from one of the most important days on the Leftist calendar, i.e. July 14, 2024, Bastille Day. The Left has always been about SENDING messages. Illusions of grandeur, I guess.
Delusions of grandeur.
yeah, great Sundance, that went down easy with my coffee this morning, <sarc> for those readers in Portland. MAGA party is stuck just as the Tea Party was/is. RINOs prevent movement for power and money.
And yet, I keep getting told we just need to vote harder and co-opt the GOP.
The GOP in unsalvageable and should be scrapped.
PDJT has proven that the GOPe can be usurped.
Follow his lead.
By early 2027, they’ll start to ignore and lame duck him.
We keep losing long term because we think short term.
In November, I drove straight thru from the arrive alive state to my IL homestead, and went to vote, cross eyed and hands shaking….I can’t vote much harder than that…I skipped shopping at the I-75 Exit 22 Buc-cees to save time…
The GOP doesn’t really want us, I think…
They never did, AG.. damn sure didn’t want the likes of a rable rouser like me..
If I was a betting man, I would bet big money that the RepubliCons are already negotiating behind the scenes with the DemonCrats to pass a CR that reverses the Big Beautiful Bill.
Specifically, RepubliCons will be willing to restore health care for illegals and to restore funding for ObamaCare. Not just willing, but eager.
The RepubliCon strumpets even now are negotiating a price big enough to roll over on their backs.
Hawk Tuah Jeffries is absolutely certain they will win
Dial – Up Hakeem.
Seems likely, bipartisan, ya know. /s
I would bet large money that the GOP is going to throw either the house or the senate to the democrats in 2026. It then takes the heat off of them to implement Trump’s policies. They did the same thing in 2018 and it worked just fine.
That is why Trump and Vought need to enact meaningful reductions in the size and scope of the Federal government NOW.
As Sundance has pointed out in the past, not only do these Republicans prefer to be in the minority in order to turn the spotlight off their ongoing, democrap bromance, they actually make *more* money in doing so!
Cue all the ramped up RNC fundraising efforts to get back at their so-called “opponents,” as well as the back room deals the defectors make by crossing the aisle to pass thisclose democrap legislative priorities.
All the while, both sides of this UNiparty construct continue to rake us over the coals while furthering their own ambitions.
Republicans COULD pass the CR to fund the govt all by themselves any time they want. All they have to do is eliminate the Senate filibuster rule for CR’s, the way they did to approve judges.
Something sinister – or distracting? – is at play here.
just one RINO could request a quorum call while congresscritters were ‘on vacation’ at any time during PDJT’s first or second terms, to permit recess appointments of people PDJT actually wanted.
But not ONE ever did. Not even a congresscritter who was not blackmailable who planned to retire. Wow! Astounding unity from a tight knit group.
“astounding unity” AGAINST the American people.
The shutdown provides the opportunity to reduce the size and scope of the Federal government: if Trump & Vought have the stones to do it.
President Trump and OMB Director Russell Vought have brass stones.
It takes 60 votes to change Senate rules. Not going to happen
NO it does not. It only takes a majority vote, per the Senate Rules … that is how Harry Reid, Mitch McConnell and Chuck Schumer were able to operate.
The 60 vote RULE is NOT in the Article I of the Constitution … it is an operating RULE set by the Senate.
That is why RULES changes by the party in the MAJORITY, to remove the 60 vote rule” by it’s majority vote is referred to as the “Nuclear Option”. It preempts the self imposed 60 vote Senate OPERATING Rule.
The Republicans faux anxiety, wringing their hands over the democrats retaliating, is 100% BS … They are expecting the voters not to notice the 60 vote rule has been scuttled as needed throughout the history of the rule’s existence by the party in the majority.
The ONLY ones keeping the 60 vote rule in place IS THE compromised REPUBLICAN Majority.
Assume there is a purpose.
The purpose is obvious … the Professional Republicans WANT a fiscal rot preserving CR passed.
The purpose for preserving the MAJORITY vote to preempt the 60 Vote Rule is obvious … both parties do not trust each other nor us the voters … so the Majority Vote to remove a Senate rule is a safeguard … hence it used only when the 100% surety of an action is NEEDED by the Senate MAJORITY Leader. neither Party wants to part with the majority safeguard.
Wrong.
NO CR to sustain the existing fiscal rot …. The Republicans who CONTROL both sides of Congress could PASS an Actual Budget Authorization Bill, during regular order based on President Trump’s Budget Proposal submitted (by law) in March 2025.
Once President Trump signs THAT BILL it becomes the Budget ACT (Law) … it would reset the CR baseline for future CR’s that ARE COMING.
The bottom line is that Professional Republicans WANT TO and WILL SIGN a CR … but never pass a proper Budgetary Bill.
The CR wrangling is Kabuki Theater … and hope the President is able to badly damage ALL DOGE targets before the CR is passed for him to sign.
The only hope at this point, before 2026 and 2028, is the crazed Marxist Democrats overplay their hand by scaring the Professional Republicans into realizing that the collaborating Professional Republicans are also among those who will lined upon against the wall with the other supporters of President Trump as PUBLICLY promised by Congress members: Schiff, Swalwell, Blumenthal, Jeffries, the Squad, et al.
I agree with democrats on one thing…this shutdown is indeed the fault of republicans. The GOP had plenty of time but just couldn’t muster the effort to complete their annual budgeting processes by 1 Oct (Gee….could it be because they only worked 100 days in the past year?). Had they done so there would be no shutdown.
–
You are so right…and it was intentional on the part of the RepubliCons.
Yep, and now they say the will get a budget through regular order before the proposed CR runs out….wonder if they are working on a regular odrer budget now during the shutdown.
No, they do not like to work.
Especially if it is for the U.S. citizens.
You have to get by the Senate Filibuster rule (60 votes) to get any spending package done
Was it the day before 9-11 that Rumsfeld informed us 2 Trillion was missing from Pentagon? Wonder whose wheels got slicked with that wad?
Just curious as I have yet to see or read the mechanism with which Trump can make these permanent, or is this theater?
Just playing it out. He cuts a bunch, a CR is put forward that includes all the people just “fired” but without illegal healthcare, and suddenly they’re no longer fired or Trump gets hung out to dry defending his position. Voters are fickle
I see sombreros

I absolutely love it SD!
Call it out.
You framed it perfectly. What is complicated is made simple the way to you put it.
Thank you dearly for all Treepers and your commitment SD!
I see it all now, it’s like Neo in the Matrix – everything is in super high focus – and yet the tactics don’t work on us anymore.
Liberty & Freedom first and forever, Amen!
It is for this very reason that Republicans in the senate have blocked President Trump from making recess appointments during both his terms.
I’ll apologize in advance. These “GOP at fault” comments are hitting very sour. However, I think they illustrate the thrust of the post quite clearly. Democrats will say anything.
I voted for Trump for president three times and greatly appreciate his policies that seem to be blowing up the UniParty’s “system”. However, his courting of Sharia-compliant countries to invest in the U.S. and, just a few days ago, he praised Bourla and then cut a $70B deal with Pfizer. WTF?!
This is precisely why I rarely donate to the GOP. While I love what President Trump is doing, I know behind him is a cadre of backstabbers masquerading as Conservatives.
MY Congressman, is one of the Top Percentage Earners in the Stock Market. He smiles a lot, shakes a lot of hands and trades for himself. I vote against him in the Primary but the local GOP will not take a principled stand against insider trading.
and people still think the GOP is the lesser of two evils come election time. Same evil, different flavor is all. The GOP has a poison-pill on Trump and on America. If Trump goes scorched-earth on them, the democrats win and he gets impeached. If the voters stop supporting the GOP, America almost instantly turns into an authoritarian state similar to what many European countries have become.
Our once great country has its tit pretty deep in the wringer. I have no idea how we get out of this. The GOP is doing nothing and will continue to do nothing because they know Trump can’t touch them. They have their Trump Countdown Calendar going and it’s job #1 to preserve the swamp.
The tid-bit about the GOP taking a payment to shoot you in the ear is exactly what happened in Butler. There were GOP people that knew what was supposed to happen in Butler and their “Trump problem” would have been solved. If the GOP doesn’t disgust you as much or more than the democrat-communists, you aren’t paying close enough attention.
“almost instantly turns into an authoritarian state similar to what many European countries have become.”
As opposed to the slow roll we’ve been doing for the past 9 months?
Can’t say I care for this rather crass meme and profanity whatsoever.
Now arrives the hour of action.
https://x.com/DHSgov/status/1973452234219528453
So then….why is it taking so long to eliminate government jobs and RIF people?
Did you notice that when feds get fired, employment numbers sink?
How about when government cuts funding, the GDP takes a big hit?
We literally can’t do what we want without the “numbers” being used to call it a disaster.
But big government is the disaster. And deficit spending sells out the future.
I know lots of people who have been RIF’ed including my son
Really?
Are you sure you don’t mean “furloughed”?
Huge difference.
RIF means you have permanently lost your job. You know “lots of people” and your son who have been fired in the last couple days from Federal employment?
Surely that would have made the news?
Perhaps you could share a link or two?
These are RIFS that are going on. Folks are permanently losing their jobs.
Just do a simple search and you’ll get plenty of links.
Good. It ain’t enough.
Once in a while, Lindsey Gramham will be referred to as Lindsey Gramhamsy on conservative sites. (To show disproval of the man.) … It would be better to refer to such money-grubbing republicans as another Benedict Arnold. = Someone who is willing to sell out America for money.
The memes should include the Hakeem Jeffries >sombrero on ALL the sell-out, money-grubbing Republicans too. … +Lindsey Gramhamsy would look more manly wearing a sombrero, mustache and drinking straight Tequila, anyway. … Put a Serape on the man too.
Thank you, Sundance, for your excellent analysis and teaching.
Blessings to you!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻😇😇👊👊❤️❤️🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
The President needs to take the present opportunity and downsize the Federal Government. The less Federal Government the less money to steal, the less power to wield. It is a once in a lifetime opportunity. The swamp is drained by reducing the money and population of the Federal Government.
We have a Conservative Group in the county I reside. It is driving the Nashville RINOs nuts.
Another long term solution is the elimination of the Department of Education at the Federal and State Levels. We have to privatize education and the protection of children.
So I agree with all of this, and this was very well put and described. However, I have a question about it that can hopefully be clarified:
Everything about the GOPe and the professional Republicans makes perfect sense. My question is with the Dems in all of this. I agree with and understand the notion that the “professional democrats,” aka the Clinton wing of the party (the people that could be bought), were destroyed by Obama. But at the start of this post, Sundance says that both professional republicans and professional democrats want this shutdown to end. So my question is, what professional democrats are left in power to actually do anything about that? What professional democrats, aka democrats willing to take money to change their political position or vote on an issue, would work with the GOPe to end this shutdown? If most of them are the ideologues in the Obama vein of the party, aren’t they going to continue to cave to their progressive base and maintain the shutdown? Otherwise, they wouldn’t be the ideologues that Obama helped to install, and they would probably be primaried by their own party soon thereafter.
Just a thought.
Just because the Communists took over the Democrat Party doesn’t mean that they aren’t professional Democrats.
Besides, Hillary was Communist too. Even an Alinsky worshipper.
An acolyte even.
Acquisition of wealth is not a zero-sum game. Prosperity gains for today’s low income earners, does not reduce prosperity of anyone else: whereas reducing anyone’s prosperity does. Forced redistribution is the greatest danger to overall and individual prosperity.
Yes and No.
Providing goods and services is the way to get wealthy by helping others.
Theft and taxation are ways to get wealthy by hurting others.
This is the natural outcome of when a population stops believing in transcendent Truth; existential principles and a Divine power above themselves and to which they owe everything.
Instead, all that matters is their appetites – so get as much as you can, however you can, as soon as you can, before your body is finally in the can.
It’s a depressing country we currently live in. America’s only hope depends on returning to our Christian roots and placing our hope once again in Almighty God, so help us God!

I’m not sure this is true. We should pass such a law however
Yup, it be a wee suspect as the name of the act was actually the McCarran-Walter Act. Dick Cheney was not a congressman in 1990. I can find no reference to “forbidding Muslims from holding office” in the 1952 act and the 1990 Act seemed to allow just about everybody in as well as establish the “temporary protection status’ provision.
This is an absolute must read article for those who still complain about “Why doesn’t Trump do blah, blah, blah……..”
George Carlin was right. It’s a big club…and you ain’t in it.
100%
Agree
Here in Texas our conservative when it’s good for him Greg Abbott!
Mr. Finger-in-the-wind
Excellent article, Sundance. We cannot repeat this enough and you have said it differently this time.
We all need to collectively open our eyes, learn to see the dynamics and the implications so that we can effectively save our country.
Two conceptual questions:
What/who is the enemy? How can we quickly and effectively identify them? What are the principles that the enemy is following and how are they in opposition to the principles of our constitutional republic.
The more important question: what are the principles and goals of the constitutional republic? How do we sustain them at the core of what we do as a nation? Why are the goals important?
Sundance and the majority of Treepers already know the answers to these questions. Yet we must continually crystallize them, first in our mind, and then in what we teach our loved ones. And finally how to carry the message, effectively, through a target audience that will make a difference. It won’t make a difference to the target audience until it makes a difference to them as an individual. To be heard as an individual, the individual needs to trust us and see our heart, and know that we love them.
I think Charlie Kirk figured that out and so did our president. Two different approaches, and I’m sure there are more.
Each of us, from wherever we are standing, must ask what is the next right thing for me to do today? Now. Between now and bedtime.
What I read is the entire political body is corrupted. This is true.
The worst enemies to have are a people that have nothing to lose.
For violent Democrats, greedy Republicans and Israeli Lobbyists that are unregulated by the Trump Admin.**
**AIPAC is an Israeli foreign lobby with 2 per Congressperson. and should be required to register with FARA. Tucker Carlson reported that Israeli Defense Forces ran the show in the Pentagon during the Twelve Day War with Iran. If true, that is unacceptable. Americans have fatigue with wars in the Middle East. Always remember the USS Liberty.
They should be careful. All.
Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer and many Dems in Congress are NOT ideologues . If they were, they’d never have once been moderates. They are pols without convictions.
Power? Well, yeah, but only because power leads to wealth.
I forgot to add: Tell me Mitch McConnell is not interested in power.
It matters not that power leads to money or money leads to power. Power=money; money= power. Same thing, thus the “equal sign.”
They are both tools to get the other.
AOC is not an ideologue. She thought at one time in college she believed what the Marxist profs were spouting. However, she didn’t RUN for Congress to install Marxism. She saw Marxist economic policies as simply a talking point she could use in her district to get elected.
Because it worked, she has held fast to the same talking points.
I can’t wait until she runs again for a higher post and her opponent can show the video interview she did in which she’s asked about inflation (this was in Biden’s last year). She stumbled, stammered, tried to answer as only Kamala could, with a word salad, realized she could NOT make sense, and then in a moment of futility, shrugged her shoulders, and sheepishly said to the person sitting across from her, “It’s really hard to explain what causes it…..but, but, but, I guess I really need to study its causes.”
AOC is still winging it.
This from a woman whose second major at Boston U. was economics.
Let me know if this is incorrect
The US is currently celebrating government shutdown, a partial martial law, with National Guard being normalized in the cities and alternative police force against citizens, ICE being deployed as an alternative police force, ruling by presidential degree has not bcome less but worse, we still have not abollished mega pork bills (one that is likely due a day before Christmas)
Not even touching on the death of debate and discourse. (Who else is doing a “Prove me wrong” debate style)
How is having a military police force used against american civilians going to help make America great?
Military force is used against enemies.
When the military is used againt civilians the People become the enemy of the nation.
I suppose as long as they are just used against drug trafickers and people overstaying their visa’s things are OK.
But is anyone checking who they are rounding up? And once the infratructure is in place, and the democrats back in power, is it going to be the conservatives that are going to be rounded up?
This is all being done and sold with “the best of intentions”
What’s lacking though is sobering thought and reflection on his I find. Something in short supply in Washington at the moment.
Good post, but let me correct you.
30% of the country is celebrating what is currently going on.
Everyone else is aghast.
The “ones being rounded up” right now are those who break our laws. You are correct to be concerned about what, exactly, constitutes a “law breaker,” as that label can easily change as soon as the embedded communists reassert their power.
Five years ago they wanted to “round up” and detain Americans who refused their poison death shots.
I am satisfied that violent Antifa agitators who *physically* attack others and destroy property have been labeled a terrorist organization. It is a slippery slope, however, to criminalize feelings and speech.
“Hate speech” is a perfect example of unconstitutional overreach. The first amendment protects the right of American citizens to speak out against the powers that be, especially so when our words are *not* well received.
The first amendment was not created for speech we agree with.
Let’s remember that Charlie Kirk promoted open dialogue in response to the outright censorship and criminalization of Conservative voices.
I am also relieved that grifters, felons and enemy combatants, who never bothered to seek legal citizenship, are now being shown that big, beautiful door. Some of their ranks may have a compelling humanitarian reason to stay, but due to gross negligence and a complete lack of oversight on the part of our feckless gubmint, we now must expel all detainees and thoroughly vet anyone who might later apply for legal status.
To your first line, it’s incorrect.
This is most insightful. I showed this post to my wife and she agreed that I could have written it myself. Our issues with the Democrats are well defined and obvious. It is the treacherous RINO’s whom we must watch constantly as their sole motivation is money no matter what they say.
This description of the two parties and the challenge President Trump faces is so spot on!
el gato malo’s substack from the other day may fit into this topic, titled “how to heal”
explores the idea that in order to ‘win’ between these two parties is to own the field, embrace stepping outside the growing totalitarian framework these political parties insist we use as lenses to view our world in.
The sombrero memes coming out of the White House are in line with what the cat is saying. Humor, humor really does break the spell totalitarian mindset casts.

The Republican obliteration of the Teaparty members was brutal. They are duplicitous and vicious to those within their own party who actually attempt
to serve the people.
An individual can see a rabid dimocrap closing in.
Republicans are more stealthy. Blindsided, their victims bleed out before they knew what hit them.
Sundance speaks truth. MAGA is what we must fight, fight, fight for — or we will lose our country.
Vote in the midterm!
♥️🤍💙
Yes, many have underscored these differing goals on many occasions, but has there ever been a better explanation of this dichotomy?
I think not.
“The Republican party now has a lower income demographic and a more ideological working-class base. However, don’t be fooled. The top tier of the Republican apparatus is mostly unchanged”
In Colorado, this was on display at a GOP Lincoln Day Dinner. The place was less full than in the past when it was an event for the Republicans who thought nothing of spending over $100/person for a dinner to hobnob with the elite. The front half of the room was people who wanted to be there to hear the speaker, people with normal jobs who mostly weren’t bidding much on the auction items, people who all knew each other because we’ve seen each other at the Lindell trial, events for Tina Peters, hand count trainings, etc.
The back half of the room, who left as soon as they socially could, were the candidates and elected officials who were there because they had to keep up the appearance of being Republicans, but who weren’t bidding on things because they have no interest in supporting the new MAGA party leadership.
There were face-saving calls for unity, but most people in the room knew who each other was, and are working for the complete and utter defeat of each other, knowing we can’t both exist for long in the same party. As one person said, the Republican party isn’t infighting; it’s been infiltrated. As another person said, the party will probably shrink before it grows – meaning the party leadership from precinct leaders on up. Because a whole lot of RINOs are still in those jobs, and they will confuse many grassroots people who don’t know who is who, until enough time passes that everyone can see who is who.
With a little luck and the Grace of God……Trump will make the democrats *NEVER* want to shut down the government as a political tactic again.
Save that money Mr President!!!
So very well stated Sundance. I remember the halcyon days of the T.E.A. Party when it was believed we could effect change within the government, then 2010 and the betrayal of John Roberts and the Supreme Court gobsmacked us and we lost the wind in our sails. Jenny Beth Martin became marginalized and the T.E.A. Party was left on the beach.
But, in 2016 we received a necessary shot in our arms and we rallied behing Donald J. Trump who promised to pick up the remaining strands of the T.E.A. Party and unify us into the Make America Great Again Party (new name?). MAGA because it addresses the principles on which Our Country was founded has brought many people from various backgrounds together.
We are strong and We The People are not going to lie down.
So when are we going to start putting Republicans under the microscope?
Here’s a list of the top 10 least conservative House Republicans, drawn from DW-NOMINATE data (Voteview.com, updated September 2025) and cross-referenced with media analyses (e.g., NBC News, FiveThirtyEight). DW-NOMINATE first-dimension scores range from -1 (most liberal) to +1 (most conservative); all Republicans score positively, but the lowest here are the most moderate.
Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA) PA-01 Co-chair of Problem Solvers Caucus; voted for Jan. 6 commission and Ukraine aid
Mike Lawler (R-NY) NY-17 Moderate on abortion/gun control
Don Bacon (R-NE) NR-02 Bipartisan on infrastructure; represents Omaha “blue dot”
David Valadao (R-CA) CA-22 Voted to impeach Trump (2021); low ACU rating (68% in 2024)
Chris Smith (R-NJ) NJ-04 Longtime moderate; low 2024 ACU score (72%); supports some environmental bills.
Jeff Van Drew (R-NJ) NJ-02 Switched from Dem in 2019; moderate on coastal issues
Young Kim (R-CA) CA-40 Bipartisan on trade/immigration
Maria Elvira Salazar (R-FL) FL-27 Moderate on Cuba policy; Miami Hispanic vote key; Heritage Action score: 78% (2024)
Anthony D’Esposito (R-NY) NY-04 Long Island moderate; voted against some Trump priorities.
Nick LaLota (R-NY) NY-01 Suffolk County rep; focuses on bipartisanship in fisheries/environment
I also suggest we start looking at house republicans via financial disclosures, stock trading reports, and real-time portfolio trackers to see who’s wealth has greatly increased as well as consulting opensecrets.org to find out which republicans have the biggest Lobbyist Contributions.
This shouldn’t all fall on Sundance! We need to do our part in investigating, showing the data we find and posting it to educate others. Remember: We Are The Media Now!
Fitzpatrick is a former Fibbie. The majority of his district is Bucks County in which the central part is upper middle class and above. Those people usually vote Dem and Brian is squishy.
it looks like trump and his administration are waiting for enough dems to cave. more inaction. they could do it all now. dems are gonna lawfare no matter what. might as well play to win and go for gold. let the chips fall where they may. do everything. why haven’t they gutted the ngo’s? why hasn’t bessent fired the obama operatives? why hasn’t rfk jr fired the 1000 saboteurs that wrote the letter? how about not bailing out argentina for 20 billion dollars. and so much more. pay attention to what they are not doing and you will be disgusted. theater
Just remember that when J6 happened Republicans were right in there with the Democrats
Arguably one of the best article/opinion/factual/analytical items Sundance has ever articulated. This is akin to a Gettysburg Address; simple, straight forward and hits you right between the eyes as clear as day about the nation we love and government representatives we have. Excellent Sundance. I believe a political movement based on 100% transparency. Not the transparency Obama parroted. But minus personnel discussion about staff vacations, etc… but everything is video and audio taped and documented. Every meeting is transcribed. The people have a right to know everything your representative is doing minus going to the can. MARTA Make American Republicans Transparent Again.
As the microcephallic moron George W Bush once said, “Politics ain’t beanbag.” Politicians are all in politics for power. It appears that most Repugs are in it for money only, but power allows them to pursue money and is therefore the objective for being in politics. Most Demcommies are in it for money to use to manipulate the world to bend towards the power that money gets them.
Make no mistake, power and money are the only operative motivations for anyone who chooses politics as a career. This is why term limits are required in order to partially prevent the incestuous outcome of money/power that is inevitable anywhere politics is played. This is why we love President Trump. He doesn’t need to play politics to get money because he chose to get money by getting things built instead, so we trust him. Being in the top echelon of power will expose him to lots of money. But, he is term limited because he went for the top spot. The money grab side of politics can be reduced, but not ended, by term limits. But I am fully in support of term limits because they will likely weaken the power of the money gamer as MAGA gains that power on the Repug side of the isle.
This is a definite bookmark for sharing with other like minded friends/family who may not follow the weeds as much but can sense something is off with most Republicans. Easy to understand analogies and aligns with what you see from the professional politicians..
Therefore, we have to become THE Repug Party. MAGA has no choice but to be the common sense alternative to the Demcommie power grab. That fact says MAGA has to to become the power that the Repugs seem not to care much about. No other alternative can actually remove the money grabbers from the Repug Party. We have to Primary all of the money grabbers and defeat them first. Once we get into office, we have to be voices for term limits on the Legislative Branch. No entrenched money grabbing Repug will ever do that.
We are talking like We understand the realities of politics. I am tired of losing because most people don’t like to even think about this stuff. But no Republic can stand up without the full participation of We The People. MAGA
You are spot on. this old man learned a whole new vocabulary. i was blind but now i see
🎯💯💥👍
