When you consider the angle of impact, for fragments to hit and retain enough energy to cut his neck that way is very unusual. I believe there was video from a person attending the event. The video, taken before the shooting, showed what appeared to be someone on the roof. Apparently the person who took this video did nothing until after the shooting.
So the video was taken prior to the shooting but was not given to the FBI until after the shooting.

Why is the cctv footage of the apparent shooter without a rifle? Rifle was found off campus, so the shooter must have fled with it?? Surely there is footage of the shooter fleeing the campus gun in hand? If he left taking a route with no cctv, why not come in the same way so no pics? Seems odd.

To me this suggests the gun was hidden in this towel on the way out, or possible thrown/dropped off the roof to an accomplice or into bushes or some other object that would have made it difficult to find until retrieval.
But there should be footage of the shooter fleeing, possibly with the gun in the towel. Perhaps this footage is being held back right now because it provides additional evidence that would compromise the investigation if released.
