Truthfully, I feel sorry and a degree of sympathy for the Queen. I very much doubt that is the role she wanted and truly isn’t comfortable in it. In most photos I see, she looks quite lost and, frankly, confused …not certain she’s actually 100% mentally there. In some ways she reminds me of Biden…just trying to do what the “handlers” direct…stand here, wear this, look into the camera, etc. I imagine sitting next to her at dinner and attempting a conversation would be a challenge. I suspect if Charles dies in the near future, we will hardly see her again in public.
