Former CDC Director Susan Monarez appeared on Capitol Hill today to decry the horrible Trump and lay testimony against HHS Secretary Robert F Kennedy Jr, for defying the historic indulgences of the Big Pharma lobby.

He wouldn’t produce it but he at one point warned her they had a recording PRIOR to her answering the question, giving her answer even more weight is she lied.
Records and/or transcripts will be used to impeach her if they choose to hold her accountable, which they had better do! Otherwise, why waste time with these hearings!!

I noticed Mullin did not have the answers to his own questions or he would have revealed them. He could have then shown that she was lying, that there was a prepared response ahead of the firing and that she had an agenda antithetical to the Secretary and by extension, Trump. I don’t know why Mullin missed this…
I don’t believe Mullin had much more than three minutes and he wanted to get her on the record lying so that when the evidence is available later it will be proof she is a liar. Or maybe she will drop the lawsuit.
True, but if you watch, Mullin “belabors” his questions with excessive explanation and doesn’t ask to reclaim his time when she obfuscates with her responses. I believe each representative gets 5 minutes of time.
He kept telling her he had the transcript, continually looking down at the papers in his hand as he wouldn’t let up.
Now whether or not these papers were the transcript is up for debate.
I believe he didn’t “fill on the blanks” as a means to keep her off balance and wondering (or trying to remember specifically, what it actually was she said).

This interview by Senator Mullin will be used as evidence when she tries to sue. She is a liar through and through.
These people like her lie so much they believe the truth is whatever is in their head at the moment. Is she under oath? I wish the senator had played the tapes each time she lied. When they lie and nobody ever holds them accountable, they think they are invincible.

Sen. Mullins’ line of questions was great. Do your homework, know the answers to your questions before asking them, then directly call her out for lying by stating he knows the answers, and repeatedly do so each time she lies.
Monarez was a lying POS not only obvious from her words, but her entire body language, particularly her face.
Who recommended her for the position? At least she was fired in fairly short order.

The church interceded/prayed for Peter and his life was spared. We need to pray for James D Vance, Pete Hegseth & their families that they will be protected.

I do think she is lying and I am glad she was fired, however, people have the right to take the 5th amendment, and then you can’t then turn around and use that right against them. You can say “I don’t recall” instead of lying. It’s not the accused job to help the prosecution. If the evidence exists then the accused will be proven wrong or guilty beyond a reasonable doubt by the prosecution. It’s just how our justice system works.
It’s not a criminal hearing.
The 5th Amendment is not about being able to lie on the stand. It is about the requirement the state must make its case agains you, without you being forced to help them.
Maybe that’s why he wanted to get her to lie on the record.
