I’m not a big fan of tattoes but when my car broke down on I 95, a dangerous place to break down, I pulled over as far as I could and called for help. It would be awhile before someone could get there.
I was really scared. After about 20 minutes a pickup pulled in front of my car. A really nice young guy got out, saw I was a scared middle aged woman, looked under the hood of my car, fiddled around with something and got my car started to get me to the next exit.
I noticed he had tattooed arms. He was a really Good Samaritan right out of the Gospel. I offered him some money, he wouldn’t take it.
When I got home I thought of all the cars whizzing by but this guy stopped. Alot of those people in other cars who did not stop probably were not tattoed. Actions matter, not appearances.
From that day on, I never judge someone by their outside. Plenty of people without tattoes are not nice or worse.
The first woman I dated after my divorce had a couple tattoes.
My first born daughter does as well.

I had something very similar happen to me…a Good Samaritan with a tow truck…my transmission blew up on I-55 at the Junction of I-294…he looked scary but was offering to tow me…so I accepted (and prayed hard-he looked like a homeless bum that could have been living in a box under the interstate)…turns out his wife and son were in the truck…anyway, he towed me home, 40 miles…of course I paid, a lot….he was dirty and scruffy looking…from work it seems…
Also turns out he was from Texas…delivering a car to IL….

In John 14:30 Jesus says that the ruler of this world is coming but “he has no power over me,” referring to himself; how we hate acknowledging that Satan really is ruling our fallen world – temporarily.
I have written before about the demonic nature of tattooing, and it is irrelevant to me whether it is something military or Christian (e.g. a cross or Bible verse).
Leviticus 19:28 includes “cutting the skin” as well as tattooing under its prohibition, as they are things done by the ungodly tribes surrounding the Hebrews.
Psychologically, what is the point of it? Does the person think a tattoo or a ring hanging out of their nose – making it look like they have eternal pre-nasal discharge – will somehow make them beautiful?
Will they “fit in” better with some crowd of idiots claiming to be “cool” ?
We note that Criminals have embraced tattooing to identify themselves, not unlike the demon-worshiping peoples surrounding the Israelites!
Whatever the reason, it is irrational and an affront to God: I might mention how spending thousands of dollars to have lips like Daisy Duck or to have surgeries to make one’s skin resemble the plastic of Barbie and Ken dolls is just as morally suspect.
And it was only a matter of time: the obvious idea that injecting ink into the skin is in general not a healthy idea is undergoing research about certain connections between tattoos and rising incidents of cancers of various kind.

I knew Leviticus mentioned not inking one’s skin but I had forgotten about the proscription on cutting, though it makes perfect sense. If our bodies are the temple of God, parts of which are used as Jesus’ hands and feet on earth, then mutilating it is akin to mutilating God’s temple.

But I did see a photo of him that looked pretty transition-y and the fact that Biden cut Trump’s security team and the fact that Biden’s FBI found seemingly NOTHING on Crooks really makes me wonder. If there was even a shred of evidence Crook was anything other than an angry Lefty, it would’ve been found and blasted from the mountaintops. They knew how powerful that image would be for Trump. I did like listening to Mr. Kirk debate others, and the fact that he would both talk with and politely listen to, just about any crazy crackpot or outright communist that wanted to question him. I respected that about him as very few others will interview or debate outside their comfort zone of view. Young people as a group need to just go out and emulate. A great deal of the crazy will eliminate by attrition. God can help us with the rest.

I was in an Uber last week and the driver had a public radio (low talker woman) interviewing a professor from UCLA. I couldn’t believe my ears-the political right is rigging elections, election maps and wants to destroy individual voting rights; the Constitution and country is in peril; authoritarianism is on the march. It’s the 1930s etc. It was another reality spoken with the utmost seriousness and academic presumed authority and truth. That’s where they live and they ain’t moving house.
This was the most powerful, consequential, spiritual message I’ve heard delivered by an inhabitant of the White House that I’ve ever heard. It deserves to be on repeat. Vance is correct, there is no unity with people who celebrate murder. As I’ve said, when people tell you to your face what they intend to do to you, take them seriously! A republic cannot stand when a significant minority of its citizenry think it’s acceptable to advocate for, let alone foment and carry out, the murder of fellow citizens, simply because they disagree with them. For the sake of our country, those people need to be dealt with.
This is an emotional moment for all of us who love this country, I know it is for me. I hear the calls for those who fund and promote the lunatic violence on the Left to be addressed. And they NEED to be addressed. But what this CANNOT become is the Right’s “Patriot Act” moment – allowing a violent and emotional act of terror to stampede us, once again, into a new regime of government power and restriction of our natural rights.
How do we avoid that? We take J.D.’s example here and do what Bush didn’t have it in him to do – we rely on God for wisdom and in everything we do, and every response we make, we act as if we will ultimately give an account to our Lord for how we steward this country through these very difficult times. And in that mindset, we deal with those who think it is their prerogative to tear this country apart.
With God, anything is possible. Without him, we can do nothing. I believe that was Charlie’s message.

I don’t think anyone hates Patel, Bongino and Bondi, but some of the comments have been absurd. The Treehouse is better than this. It’s one thing to be disappointed in their performance, but stop with the personal attacks on their looks and judging their motives. Charlie Kirk would never do that.
I think the hate Bondi gets is 100% warranted. I’m losing confidence in Patel rapidly. I get the wariness about Vance, but I like him. If he’s a fake (in terms of his beliefs) then he’s a damn good fake. Trust but verify.

The continuing tributes to Charlie Kirk are tremendous, but we are being lied to by the Governor of Utah. Nobody at the White House asked Cox to be lead investigator and spokesperson for this. He is protecting this derainged trans culture in his state for some reason. Reports from Salt Lake City indicate there are more trans flags flying there than U.S. flags.
