23-year-old Iryna Zarutska fled the war in Ukraine in 2022; she came to the United States and lived in North Carolina. On August 22nd after finishing her shift at Zepeddie’s Pizza, a Charlotte North Carolina restaurant, she boarded a light rail train to head home.
While minding her own business and sitting on a seat scrolling her telephone, a career criminal named Decarlos Brown Jr (35), took a knife out of his pocket, stood up behind Ms Zarutska and then plunged the knife into her neck and throat. Iryna Zarutska bleed to death on the spot. She was killed for being white.
Ms Zarutska survived a war zone only to end up dead on a train in North Carolina as a result of political correctness and leftist urban policies that allow criminals to roam the streets looking for their next victim. The media has been largely silent on the attack, and Charlotte’s democrat Mayor has thanked the media for not sharing the story.
After killing Ms. Zarutska, Decarlos Brown Jr. walked to the front of the train, took off his bloodied hoodie, then walked away from the train. Brown was later arrested again; this is the fourteenth time he was arrested.

40 years ago I took a train and/or bus into ‘the city’. Everyone was plugged into a portable radio or cassette player.

I used to ride the L in Chicago in the eighties- people’s noses buried in newspapers- sports, stocks, news, comics, horse races…
I go to a large community fitness center. Everyone comes in with their eyes on their phones…go to a machine for a few reps and then checks their phones…rinse and repeat the entire time. I work out in the beautiful indoor pool…same thing…a lap or two and then check their phones.
100% with the younger crowd but almost as bad with “seniors.” I play bridge and literally every person has their cell phones on…”oh, I need to take this.” No, you don’t!! My response is if you are in a situation where you must be reached immediately, then stay home by your phone and not disturb others.
We belonged to a golf club that was very strict about no cell phones on the course or in the dining areas. It’s amazing how people got along without them! LOL. in fact, more than one remarked how refreshing it was they couldn’t be immediately reached for a few hours.
THAT is the problem I saw the first time I watched the video. Fact of the matter is anyone of them could have been the victim. Not one of them were aware of their surroundings. As with any female my husband is not always with me when I am out. I take full responsibility for my safety. I generally avoid crowed areas but also I make it a habit never to have my phone out in public. If I need to make a call or send a message I stop what I am doing put my back against a wall and take care of business. Then phone goes back in bag or pocket.

I work at a place which is roughly 50% black. I’m not real comfortable right now. When “Black Live Matter” was happening, the majority here were all about it. People criticizing Kapernick? In 2017 I was a patient in the cardiac care unit. I was asleep and using the TV (muted) as a nite lite. My nurse ( Black) woke me up ranting,raving stomping,snarling at the TV. Stared at their phone screens, stopped breathing, looked out the window, closed their eyes, prayed to God to save their life, tried not to step in the blood, avoided eye contact. I had a very strange experience a few weeks ago when I left my elderly mom’s apartment after dinner. Since I was all alone, it occurred to me I should leave before dark, so I made a point of doing that.
I had seen young people loitering there at night in the past, and since this was a senior complex, I had suspected late night drug activity.
It was dusk as I approached my car in the empty parking lot. Just as I rounded the bend, I noticed two men walking toward me on the sidewalk and I instantly felt vulnerable. Would I make it to my car?
Suddenly, out of absolutely nowhere, a booming crack of thunder CRASHED over the parking lot!
BAM!!
It wasn’t raining so this was a complete surprise!
One of the men was so startled that he bolted past me, afraid he would be struck by lightning. I jumped into my car and locked eyes with the other man, who stood there frozen in shock.
As I drove away, it occurred to me that GOD had rolled that storm cloud right over their heads with precision timing.

It really was an act of God that I got home safely that night.

In 1958, FBI special agent W. Cleon Skousen penned the book “The Naked Communist” to describe the history and appeal of communism.
Then in 1961, Skousen added the 45 goals of communism to the book, and the list that was so shocking, it was officially read and recorded in the 1963 Congressional Record by Mr. Albert S. Herlong of Florida in order to alert the public about the dangers of communism in America.
CURRENT COMMUNIST GOALS
1. U.S. acceptance of coexistence as the only alternative to atomic
war.
2. U.S. willingness to capitulate in preference to engaging in atomic
war.
3. Develop the illusion that total disarmament [by] the United States would be a demonstration of moral strength.
4. Permit free trade between all nations regardless of Communist affiliation and regardless of whether or not items could be used for war.
5. Extension of long-term loans to Russia and Soviet satellites.
6. Provide American aid to all nations regardless of Communist domination.
7. Grant recognition of Red China. Admission of Red China to the U.N.
8. Set up East and West Germany as separate states in spite of
Khrushchev’s promise in 1955 to settle the German question by free
elections under supervision of the U.N.
9. Prolong the conferences to ban atomic tests because the United States has agreed to suspend tests as long as negotiations are in progress.
10. Allow all Soviet satellites individual representation in the U.N.
11. Promote the U.N. as the only hope for mankind. If its charter is rewritten, demand that it be set up as a one-world government with its own independent armed forces. (Some Communist leaders believe the world can be taken over as easily by the U.N. as by Moscow.
Sometimes these two centers compete with each other as they are now doing in the Congo.)
12. Resist any attempt to outlaw the Communist Party.
13. Do away with all loyalty oaths.
14. Continue giving Russia access to the U.S. Patent Office.
15. Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States.
16. Use technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American institutions by claiming their activities violate civil rights.
17. Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers’ associations. Put the party line in textbooks.
18. Gain control of all student newspapers.
19. Use student riots to foment public protests against programs or organizations which are under Communist attack.
20. Infiltrate the press. Get control of book-review assignments, editorial writing, policymaking positions.
21. Gain control of key positions in radio, TV, and motion pictures.
22. Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all forms of artistic expression. An American Communist cell was told to “eliminate all good sculpture from parks and buildings, substitute shapeless, awkward and meaningless forms.”
23. Control art critics and directors of art museums. “Our plan is to promote ugliness, repulsive, meaningless art.”
24. Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them “censorship” and a violation of free speech and free press.
25. Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio, and TV.
26. Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as “normal, natural, healthy.”
27. Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with “social” religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity which does not need a “religious crutch.”
28. Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the ground that it violates the principle of “separation of church and state.”
29. Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old-fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis.
30. Discredit the American Founding Fathers. Present them as selfish aristocrats who had no concern for the “common man.”
31. Belittle all forms of American culture and discourage the teaching of American history on the ground that it was only a minor part of the “big picture.” Give more emphasis to Russian history since the Communists took over.
32. Support any socialist movement to give centralized control over any part of the culture–education, social agencies, welfare programs,mental health clinics, etc.
33. Eliminate all laws or procedures which interfere with the operation of the Communist apparatus.
34. Eliminate the House Committee on Un-American Activities.
35. Discredit and eventually dismantle the FBI.
36. Infiltrate and gain control of more unions.
37. Infiltrate and gain control of big business.
38. Transfer some of the powers of arrest from the police to social agencies. Treat all behavioral problems as psychiatric disorders which no one but psychiatrists can understand [or treat].

The first thing I noticed was her choosing that seat. I reviewed the video and he was looking down slightly as she boarded and his hand was near his face, fingers on the nose near the eyes, as though tired (like her – sympathy reaction). If she’d been undecided about where to sit, extra seconds might have given her time to pick up on a clue when he moved his hand away from his face or looked up. We don’t know why she chose that seat. She was tired after a long day of work is about all we can assume and maybe was getting off soon, wanted to be near a door. I wouldn’t have chosen it, but I’m not used to being around that type and maybe she is.
I next noticed what you did, that with earbuds and a phone, she was totally cut off from circumstantial awareness, not that it would have helped her once she chose to sit where she did. I also noticed everyone else in view on the blurred-out images seemed to be equally compromised with respect to awareness.
Lastly, we’re so used to seeing hoods and “casual” dress and behavior in public that those aspects of him didn’t seem out of the ordinary to other passengers. And if they had, what could they do about it before he revealed his intention.
What you would expect, what everyone should expect, is that you can get on a bus, trusting that the judicial system has kept these animals off the streets and not seated in the seat behind you, in front of you, to the right of you, or to the left of you. If this woman had a small child with her, I’m sure you’d blame her for having the kid with her at night.

I think “Malamine” was indicating the need for situational awareness. In a different world you could perhaps be able to enter public spaces oblivious to your surroundings, but not anymore. As a former light rail transit driver, I want to give everyone some pointers to pass on to your loved ones.
1) Get to know the emergency contact mechanisms. There is usually an intercom at each end of each car. Scope these out with a friend or family.
2) Try not to travel alone but if you must, sit as close behind the driver of the train or bus as possible.
Same car on a train, at the very least. Wait until the train is arriving before you position yourself there so you are not alone on an end of the platform.
3) As the train/bus is approaching, have your back pinned on a wall so that no one can get behind you.
4) Have mace, bear spray and/or a whistle.
5) Always be aware of your surroundings and who is near.
6) Make eye contact with the driver and even a small smile. They will likely remember you and keep an eye on you.
7) Never leave your back exposed. Period. Not on the train, bus or platform.
It is awful that we have to think like this but I wish I could have told this beautiful young woman all of these things.

The way to stop crime in New York, Chicago, Lost Angeles, or anywhere else is the way Birmingham AL has done it.
It doesn’t stop crime but it keeps the crime in the criminals own neighborhood.
In Birmingham the public has already seen to the equipment, and permitting.
Elsewhere, make every citizen willing to volunteer a “special US Marshall” and issue a badge. AL Sheriffs do similar stuff with their buddies, making them special deputies.
Then issue everyone an airweight .38 Special, two speed loaders and a box of ammo. Even Mid Range target wadcutter would work, it isn’t the loudest out there, but the bullets that cut sharp clean holes in target paper also cut sharp clean hole in bad guys that bleed like crazy.
Give everyone a simple class for a weekend on the simple manual of arms, and some target practice.
Make them come back every three months for target practice and some more ammo.
Imagine if someone like that had been on the bus watching the ghoul behind that Ukrainian girl.

If one of these feral animals harms my loved ones, I have zero faith in the criminal justice system and I’m not just going to let it slide. The politicians, judges, DA’s and media talking heads who are aiding and abetting the feral 13% who prey upon the rest of society, are going to incite a powder keg. The American people, especially whites, as evident by “black fatigue,” refusal to be scared into silence by cancel culture, the white woman who received $700K for saying the N word etc, are at their wits end.
