23-year-old Iryna Zarutska fled the war in Ukraine in 2022; she came to the United States and lived in North Carolina. On August 22nd after finishing her shift at Zepeddie’s Pizza, a Charlotte North Carolina restaurant, she boarded a light rail train to head home.
While minding her own business and sitting on a seat scrolling her telephone, a career criminal named Decarlos Brown Jr (35), took a knife out of his pocket, stood up behind Ms Zarutska and then plunged the knife into her neck and throat. Iryna Zarutska bleed to death on the spot. She was killed for being white.
Ms Zarutska survived a war zone only to end up dead on a train in North Carolina as a result of political correctness and leftist urban policies that allow criminals to roam the streets looking for their next victim. The media has been largely silent on the attack, and Charlotte’s democrat Mayor has thanked the media for not sharing the story.
After killing Ms. Zarutska, Decarlos Brown Jr. walked to the front of the train, took off his bloodied hoodie, then walked away from the train. Brown was later arrested again; this is the fourteenth time he was arrested.

Which means that these rights are yours at birth and given to you by God. The Constitution as written does not give you these rights. The Constitution says that these rights shall not be take “…shall not be infringed.” A distinct but important difference since what is given can be taken away. I drove public transportation busses, it is a dangerous job. Had to defend myself more than once with extreme measures.

Back in 2019 I went to my granddaughter’s College graduation in Azusa. Since I had to pick up some documents in downtown LA I felt it was a bit easier to use LA’s public transportation. Will say when I got my documents, I was never so glad to finally be back int the train building where there was some type of security. walking around. However, on the way back some guy with a shopping cart entered at the other end of the car. Almost immediately a fight between him and another guy started. I put distance between us by going to the car behind me, calling the police & exiting at the very next stop. DAMN city transportation can be crazy. Heard from a friend who still lives in LA area that she would never use LA’s public transportation because it is some type chaos every day in the cars.
You’re probably right but I have a rule I never sit where there is someone I don’t know behind me except at church and probably high school sport events. Especially in restaurants I sit with my back to a wall and where I can see the door and those being seated. That’s just me and my wife knows it can sometimes be a pain. That’s how I try to be alert.

Retired Magistrate here: A lot of people were raised to believe that we all came from animals and don’t see life as a precious gift from GOD. Whey should they; they don’t believe in GOD. So what we are left with is the law of the jungle. Where if you want something you take it; don’t like someone’s looks, destroy them and go on with what you were going to do.
In many of these cities there is no immediate punishment, or any punishment, for the perpetrators actions so they continue to do bad acts again, because they can.

In a moment of honesty, even Jesse Jackson said that he would purposely cross the street when seeing a group of young black males approaching him. The black community could help stop these violent crimes, which include many white victims, by being honest about them and calling for change but I think many feel the attacks are justified. Society needs to stop making excuses for the disproportionate amount of black violence and pretending that it’s normal because it’s not. We know it, they know it but few people care. I wish the DOJ under President Trump would start printing the real crime statistics every month with racial breakdowns, this would help expose the truth. The truth is not racist.

I was born and raised in Seattle, which used to be a safe, clean city, that leaned left on social issues but was sane in matters of Law and Order and basic budgeting! That started going out the window in the late 70s when the school board tried to force abusing, and thousands of people moved to the surrounding suburbs.
Now a handful of progressive ideologues run the city and it is on the verge of societal collapse but refuses to change course! In the upcoming election this November, the far left candidates are leading significantly in the race for Mayor, City council, and City attorney. Most of the sane people have gotten out of the area and, even though my husband and I were born and raised here, we will probably be doing the same soon!
Washington state has not voted for a Republican for Presidents since 1984 but somehow, the media and the politicians continue to insist that this is all Trump’s fault! And the vast majority of leftist Democrats that I know will keep clapping like trained seals and will continue to vote accordingly, even as they watch their City collapse around them!

There is a law, at least in NY, that holds a bartender responsible for the behavior of a drunk that leaves his bar. That’s when I learned situational awareness. It’s survival awareness. When you live in a city, or spend a lot of time in a city, with public transportation, especially, packed subways, you know what to look for. Crazy people and people up to no good. When you live in the suburbs, or out in the country, you need longer-distance situational awareness, which may also need to take natural predators or dangerous natural conditions into account.
