The information about the investigation of John Bolton have been assumptions and leaks. However, within the recently unsealed search warrant carried out against the former National Security Advisor, we can see what the basis for the investigation consists of.

The reason for the investigation is: (1) “Gathering, transmitting or losing defense information”, and (2) “Unauthorized removal and retention of classified documents or material.” [Also noted “on or after April 9, 2018” – pg 9]
There are some interesting redactions within the search warrant related to the official duties and capacities of John Bolton as employed by the United States Government. [Page 9 of pdf, page 35 as printed] A secondary job title is oddly redacted. Also, did Bolton have an official alias?
I’m just dropping this raw information, because while interesting other matters are time consuming.
Bolton was President Trump’s national security advisor in 2018 and 2019

I will end with this. President Trump, our champion, has accomplished much..more than even the most unelevated could have believed possible. There IS a lesson that connects. DESPITE his setback, two assassinations attempts, multiple impeachment trials, 100 + frivolous and corruptly inspired civil and criminal cases, Donald has been annointed by the same blood of the lamb that all believers know to be true, as was promised. He is not Jesus Chris. He, like you and me were conceived into this world by a truth so perfect, that it adjusts even according to our worst efforts…restores us from our own self enrichment pretense. and renders US all to a form that is illuminating that others may see the wonder and promise of forgiveness.

Oath’s, like locks only work with honest people… As a retired Air Force member, I found the military to be one of the most collectively dishonest, unethical groups I’ve had the displeasure of working with. Integrity is a concept most don’t seem to truly understand. Work hated when I told the truth or made them adhere to the AFI’s. They cried when they had to put forth any extra effort. Don’t get me started on the mediocrity that they called “Excellence”, you could fire 70% of the work force if you just had a handful of people who weren’t lazy and gave a damn about their jobs/mission.

Profound and so meaningful for me.
Part of seeking Divine forgiveness is being willing to accept forgiveness from the Divine.
There is nothing wrong with that statement. It even follows direct instruction from the Divine to forgive others or we won’t be forgiven.
But, as in many aspects of Divine instruction, it can be pushed to counterproductive extremes.
I personally still have lots of work to fully follow Christ’s instruction to forgive. Especially when the sin is against my own. And according to Christ, that stubbornness of mine jeopardizes my forgiveness.
Anyways, it is also possible to deny forgiveness for our sins because they are our sins and that makes us feel unworthy. Not actually in the phrase, but definitely adjacent.
Forgive those who sin, accept forgiveness of our sins. Such is the Divine guidance we are striving to follow.
Forgive the sinner. They are a wretch just like the rest of us. But do not accept the sin. Sin is still sin.
Too many people err by thinking forgiveness is being accepting of sinfulness, that “anything goes.”
Love the sinner. Hate the sin.
Reject the sin and pray to release the sinner from their sin.

We are at war. It’s been a war from the beginning.
It’s a war to determine good from evil. Who can do that? Man? Who determines “Truth?” Democrats and Republicans? Not if they “can’t handle the Truth.”
Now I must at this point throw this monkey wrench in the spokes of progress to say that “the truth will set you free,” so says Shawn Hannity, and countless others, including Tulsi in her excellent speech you can read in the other thread.
Who is it in that often quoted Bible verse that is telling us “the truth will set you free?” It is our God and Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ. And how does one determine the truth? Listen to Shawn Hannity?
This is that verse in context: So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” John 8:31-32.
Did you get that? “If you abide in my Word,” Shawn. His Word! Not yours.
He who determines Good from Evil is the one who determines Truth. Who determines Truth? The one with the biggest sword?
Whoever determines the laws of a people, is the god of that people. If government becomes the final arbiter of Truth apart from a Higher Source, as was the belief of our Founding Fathers in this once great land, then government becomes god and the determiners of good and evil. So whatever the government says, goes. Right?
Now please don’t anyone give me that often mis-taught Romans 13 quote: “Let every person be subject to the governing authorities.”
When government is allowing the slaughter of the innocent, they cease to be doing their God ordained duty of protecting the innocent. God puts government in place to protect the innocent, and to be a terror to evildoers.

a. Bolton was/is for sale to the highest bidder and is willing to share secret/classified/sensitive information with individuals and nations who may be or are not our allies/friends

I’ve noticed his expert analysis of the Ukraine/Russia mess has all but disappeared from the media spinners lately. If nothing else comes from this, that’s at least something.
If Bolton transmitted classified information un-encrypted through “ordinary e-mail,” then it bounced in the clear through any number of “post offices” (MTAs = Mail Transfer Agents) along the route. Any of which could have retained a copy, and all of them likely did. (Cover your a&s …) That’s the sort of violation that would land any “ordinary” person in prison for 20 years, and Bolton’s penalty should properly be even worse. Information security is an extremely important and serious matter.

A shame they didn’t release the Affidavit. There were 39 pages as printed. Only 13 were rleased.
That inventory is absolutely aggravating to me… You realize, in a court of law, Bolton has already gotten away with the crime because that inventory lacks the necessary detail. You can’t list the same thing twice like that. You have to provide make, model, color, serial, etc… If you have two identical things, you have to distinguish them by either tag/label or bag and then annotate that on the freaking inventory. I have like 9 of those 64GB SanDisk thumb drives and I would die laughing in court if that was the inventory someone produced after sacking my home. They used to issue them at work aka, the govt and when you’d turn them in, they’d format and give it to the next person. What a joke the FBI has become.
