New York Representative Jerry “The Penguin” Nadler has announced he is not going to seek reelection in 2026.
78-year-old Nadler was going to face a significant primary threat from the far-left.

Rep. Jerry Nadler, was the former chair of the House Judiciary Committee who joined forces with Adam Schiff and spearheaded President Donald Trump’s impeachment effort.
Nadler and Schiff formed a joint House impeachment committee and then hired Mary McCord as the lead staff for the effort.
Mary McCord previously worked as DOJ-National Security Division head with Michael Atkinson as her office lawyer.
When McCord quit the DOJ and went to work for Schiff and Nadler, Atkinson was ¹moved to Intelligence Community Inspector General (ICIG).
As the ICIG, Michael Atkinson then changed the rules for whistleblowers within the CIA permitting a false assertion by Eric Ciaramella, who subsequently told a fictional story presented by Alexander Vindman. The fake “Ukraine Impeachment” effort stemmed from this political scheme.
Vindman lied, Eric Ciaramella advanced the lie to ICIG Michael Atkinson who then spun the ²false allegation back to his colleague Mary McCord. That’s the origin of the fraud behind the first impeachment effort.

Probably long-term port contacts, among other things. But, it’s also the beginning of Alaskan cruises and conveniently situated for flights.
Speaking of flights have gone through Seattle numerous occasions for flights to Asia and wonder if the airport is still the embarrassing dump it was.
The Seattle airport is absolutely the worst we have experienced – endless construction, ups and down and huge long lies with NO directional signage.
Plus the Pre-check line was longer than the regular boarding lines – how do they do that? Expect totally contradictory orders from TSA and even i you are over 80, you have to run the full gauntlet.
Only good thing is they do have “Port Valet’ at the end of the cruise – say good by to your suitcases on thee ship and don’t see them until you arrive at your home airport. So far that has worked perfectly.

The cruise ships come and go quickly – the port is out of downtown, but still near Pike Market. Little contact with the rest of the city. Airport out of town too.
Seattle airport construction is the real horror show about getting to Seattle cruise ships. .That alone is a stand in for total civic dysfunction. Some great cruises leave from Seattle so don’t worry about Seattle malaise until you take an excursions and see the rest of the previously fabulous city up close. And the surrounding bum camps along the highways.
