President Trump has scheduled a 2:00pm ET announcement from the White House. The president has not been seen in several days as he took a Labor Day weekend holiday.
While the topic of the announcement has not been made in advance, the greatest likelihood surrounds the removal of Space Force from Colorado (Peterson Space Force Base) and relocation to Alabama (Huntsville’s Redstone Arsenal – home of Airforce Command). The move away from Colorado is also interesting as the secondary Cyber Command data center is in Colorado (CTH is interested in this data center). The Livestream Links are below:

Paper ballots or no more funding. Why is that so hard to do?
…or no national representation?
I sure as hell do not consider the clowns WA has in the senate “representation” And my rep in the House is a joke, even worse than the pencil neck AH that was there for 6 terms before her. I’d venture to say very few of us have representation in Congress.
Colorado Springs completely boned the original competition. Huntsville put together a quality package. Mayor Suthers and the city didn’t take it seriously.
I work out here. You’d have had US Northern Command, various elements of the service Space forces, and NORAD and most of our SatC2 capability at ground zero where one well-placed nuke takes all of it out. AL offered all kinds of tax breaks and new roads. CO assumed it was in the bag.
Colorado’s Democrat Senators also share a lot of the blame. By putting party politics ahead of their voters – two D votes for Trump’s nominations probably would have saved it for CO. But we are being overrun by shitlibs out here.
Mail in voting is a huge problem, as are illegals. But mostly it’s shitlibs moving in from places like CA and the east coast.
It won’t make a huge dent in the economy here. Where I think this is a tactical mistake is Trump targeted El Paso County which is to Colorado what Orange County was once to California. Essentially, he’s ostensibly hurting Colorado Democrats BY TARGETING COLORADO REPUBLICAN VOTERS who have kept this part of the state reliably red.
I’m happy for AL, but this will do nothing but feed the corruption in AL’s government sector while somewhat decreasing our stock of red state voters.
NORAD may go the way of the mastodon if Canada continues on current trajectory.
Colorado is going to reap the whirlwind that dim policies always bring.
It’s a crying shame that the urban areas can ruin a whole state in a lot of our United States.
The next civil war will be the urbanites against the producers and the urbanites haven’t a chance on a level playing field.
Loved my 16 years in Colorado and will visit once in awhile but never live there again.
Polis built a Wuhan Lab on the CSU campus, presumably with CIA money.
Cut that Mad Science funding, Mr. President.
There are only a few red voters left in CO. Getting rid of mail in ballots would really help.
Take a look at Colorado presidential voting by county or precinct. I think you’re wrong. Colorado is more conservative than you think. The dems are stealing elections there just like all dem states using machines and mail in cheating.
This TOO is the story of Arizona where the Dems AND McCain Crony RINOs in Maricopa and Pima Counties keep stealing the Governor and Senate seats (in addition to Trump’s win in 2020 — remember Fox News calling it early for The AutoPen Empire?).
That’s a lot of strategic stuff located too close together.
I speed-read your last line of “decreasing our stock of red state voters”
… and interpreted something about “decreasing our stock car races”
slow down, Nim, slow down …
but yeah, I appreciate the points you made and concur and appreciate the local insight, thx
The Democrats there will still vote Democrat no matter how Trump did it.
How many personnel will SpaceForce actually relocate to Alabama?
Thousands ? Or more like hundreds? Nothing guarantees they’re all red voters, anyway.
My .02 cents is, punish Colorado anyway. Treat them exactly as they would us.
I think they told us something about…..elections have consequences??
With all the news today the penguin and space force are two nothings . Laying stagnant all day ,CFP also has big nothings.
Misdirection. Look over here. Something’s up. You can smell it in the air. Positioning assets and giving ridiculous reasons. The seeming inability to settle the Russia/Ukraine mess may actually turn out to be an inadvertent Godsend of global misdirection. When you figure out what’s up, keep it to yourself.
I hope that in the future the Air Force and Space Force are combined and becomes the Aerospace Force.
When it comes to corrupt voting procedures, President Trump should check out Washington. They have Colorado beat in every way and a thirty year plus track record to prove it.
The same thing can be said about NY. A lot of people just don’t vote because indoctrination to not bother voting and cheating has consumed this state. Now we’re overburdened with illegals and it’s hands off NY it seems.
How about stopping day light saving time?
Another hot button!
Nearly everyone hates the time change, but about half prefer to simply drop daylight savings while the other half apparently want to make daylight savings permanent.
Us Arizonans would l9ve if if y’all would make up your minds so we don’t have to keep track of friends, family, business contacts as you bounce around.
Move it 30 mins and leave it! Been saying that since this insanity started.
A watershed moment for Naval Aviation.
Carrier Qualifications Axed From Graduation Requirements For New Navy Fighter Pilots
https://www.twz.com/air/carrier-qualifications-axed-from-graduation-requirements-for-new-navy-fighter-pilots
On Topic: The issue of multiple moves degrading US military readiness. Random coincidences?
These two:
Degrading Navy fighter pilots carrier landing competencies.
And:
Disrupting Space Command by uprooting the HQ established in CO and moving it over a thousand miles east to AL.
‘Then-Space Command leader Gen. James Dickinson argued relocating the organization would impair its mission readiness. At the time, the command estimated 88% of its civilian workforce would opt not to transfer to Huntsville. Further, the IG report notes, constructing even temporary operational facilities and critical networks at Redstone Arsenal would take three to four years.’

We’re looking at 4+ years lost to disruption including personnel loss, possibly never recovering. Meanwhile, what are China and Russia doing in this space?
Add: Decimation of DoD Civilian leadership and expertise by DOGE-driven personnel cuts effected by luring the most experienced to take DRPs and early retirements, with resulting profound dysfunction crippling crucial support of the US military as weapons are being depleted far faster than they can be replaced.
No wonder some believe this is all coordinated with an aim of sinking the US military.
IF what you have described here is true, then perhaps this is about forcing integration of AI because of all the changes?
This would be sold as an upgrade?
that was another great press conference from President Trump. What a dynamo!!
We’ll wait for the injunction, court of appeals loss, and eventual win in the USSC before celebrating sometime in 2027.
Why is this data center of CTH interest. Other than the growth of AI and political differences, I’m sorry to say I’m lost.
No such thing, and therefore is not at Redstone.
Wow Sundance, a rarity – two significant errors in para 2: “…Space Force from Colorado (Peterson Space Force Base) and relocation to Alabama (Huntsville’s Redstone Arsenal – home of Airforce Command.”
It’s a joint combatant command, US Space Command, not the US Space Force, that is moving to AL. Second, there no such thing as “Airforce Command.”
President Donald Trump promised “harsh measures” if Tina Peters wasn’t freed.
What if Colorado’s loss of Space Command also had to do with the fact that political prisoner Tina Peters remains behind bars?
