President Trump has scheduled a 2:00pm ET announcement from the White House. The president has not been seen in several days as he took a Labor Day weekend holiday.
While the topic of the announcement has not been made in advance, the greatest likelihood surrounds the removal of Space Force from Colorado (Peterson Space Force Base) and relocation to Alabama (Huntsville’s Redstone Arsenal – home of Airforce Command). The move away from Colorado is also interesting as the secondary Cyber Command data center is in Colorado (CTH is interested in this data center). The Livestream Links are below:

More winning!
Maybe the heroic West Point cadet will be present to be honored by Trump.
This former Army E-5 would be proud to serve under him.
Never tire from it. Poor Dems, they convinced themselves that he would strep due due to poor health,
Corsa, is “strep due due” another Chinese virus that affects an individual from their throat to their bum?!
Inquiring minds want to know! 🤯😱
Just kidding.
I suffer from auto correct derangement syndrome. One never knows what words will inadvertently land on the page ! 📃
Wanted to type “step down”, but my fingers don’t always do what my mind tells them.
And the computer takes over, lol.
“But Colorado is where all the Space Cadets are!”
Some knee-jerk liberal.
Not all. Some are in sanfrancisco etc.
Depends on how he was using the term…
The term “Space cadets” was introduced by author Robert Heinlein in his 1948 sci-fi novel Space Cadet.
Many authors began to use the expression during the following decades. Thanks to its popularity, people started to use it as a slang term too in the 1970s, referring derogatorily to those who have their “minds in outer space but bodies on earth” (i.e., high on drugs or who simply has lost touch with reality.)
IMHO Colorado lefties certainly qualify as space cadets….
Colorado lefties are ballast.
You mean like “rock headed”? 🤣
“Huntsville’s Redstone Arsenal “
“The Redstone missile was developed by a team of predominantly German rocket engineers led by Wernher von Braun, who had been brought to the United States after World War II as part of Operation Paperclip. The missile was a product of the Army Ballistic Missile Agency (ABMA) at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama, where von Braun and his team were reassigned in 1950. The design was based on the German V-2 rocket, and the team adapted the engine from the Navaho missile, developed by North American Aviation’s Rocketdyne division.”
“The Redstone played a pivotal role in the early U.S. space program. A modified version, the Mercury-Redstone Launch Vehicle, was used to launch Alan Shepard on the first American suborbital spaceflight on May 5, 1961. The Redstone also served as the first stage for the Jupiter-C rocket, which launched Explorer 1, the first U.S. satellite, into orbit on January 31, 1958.“
I watched Rocketdyne turn the sky red when they tested the Saturn rocket engines in the early 1960s. Quite the thrill for a kid. Rocketdyne was built in a natural bowl-shaped area in the Santa Susana mountains on the site of the old Western movie ranch that was called Burro Flats.
They had test stands for engines, no launches from there. The earth would shake.
“… there was one rocket that was louder than them all, it was the Saturn V, the behemoth that blasted the Apollo astronauts to the moon. But just how loud was it?”
“To be precise, about 203 decibels. A standard aircraft engine on a commercial jet is around 150 decibels. While a 36% increase in noise over a typical jet engine might not sound like a significant difference, remember that decibels are mapped on a logarithmic scale. That means that every 10 dB is actually an order of magnitude more noise. So a 160 dB sound is ten times louder than a 150 dB sound.”
“By that math, a Saturn V blasting off is ->10,000 louder than a standard commercial jet engine.”
[Universe Today September 8, 2022]
*****************
“Boomer” cars, referring to those modified with powerful sound systems, can be exceptionally loud, reaching sound levels well >over 100 decibels, which is comparable to the noise inside a jet engine and poses a risk of permanent hearing damage with prolonged exposure.” [AI from the Internet]
(Offered for a common comparison, if you happen to live in the wrong neighborhood.)
Was fortunate enough to have witnessed the launch of Apollo 16 from Cape Kennedy in 1972… Thousands on Cocoa Beach and the sound of all those thousands cheering was absolutely masked by the incredible crackling and thunderous roar that I will never forget…
Just wondering how the SpaceX Starship booster (which is three times more powerful than the Saturn V) ranks against the Saturn V?
I was there in Dec 1972 in the closest spot you could get to the launch — special seats thanks to an Ohio Congressman my father-in-law knew well. Frank Sinatra and some other Hollywood types were there, too. The launch was supposed to take place c. 8 PM (first night launch) but there were problems that didn’t get fixed til close to midnight. Nonetheless everyone waited. Finally the countdown began. The black sky lighted up like it was daytime and the physical thunder of the noise hit your chest like it was a beating drum. It was very cool to see the stages separate from the rocket; the first one fell into the Atlantic not far away. The Crew of Cernan, Evans and Young were on their way to the moon. Last time this happened.
I saw it from CB as well. I was a senior in HS. They let us out for all the launches, hiked down to the beach to watch.
I lived about 30 miles from Redstone Arsenal on the farm I grew up on. I remember them testing Saturn V engines. The windows would shake in our old house. You could tell they were a ways off but you knew something serious was happening! Good times from what now seems like another country altogether.
I remember sitting in my elementary school classroom and hearing and feeling the Saturn 5 tests. We were probably 10+ miles away from the arsenal.
We moved away long ago but still have family in Huntsville. It’s a great city. Glad the Space Force will be headquartered there.
Ditto. Coquina Elementary during school days. Backyard all other days. To today…walk out my front door to watch launches from “The Cape” or KSC. Proudly a child of the Space Race.
It is a great city and has grown like weeds over the years. They have a terrific Research Park with a lot of big name companies having buildings there.
The Space & Rocket center used to be one of my favorite places to visit but that’s been decades ago. A person can’t really appreciate the engineering involved in these machines until you take an up close look at them. Those Saturn V rocket engines are amazing still today!
Also the home for the primary design of the mighty and legendary Saturn V, which put Americans on the Moon over 55 years ago.
Huntsville has a rich space history indeed.
CIA Operation Paperclip
Colorado was invaded by the commies during Patrick Swazy’s “Red Dawn” and has never been the same since those fateful times. Jennifer Gray even had to get her nose re-done. Yes, communism is that bad. 🙂
For those who don’t know, Redstone Arsenal is home to:
plus several Dept of Justice facilities including FBI School for Explosives
A ton of high level engineering types.
Yup. ‘Huntsville appears to be the better fit, given its nickname is “Rocket City” because it’s home to NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center, where the Saturn V rocket for the Apollo program was developed. Defense contractors such as Lockheed Martin, Boeing, L3Harris, and Northrop Grumman all have significant operations in the area.’ Zero Hedge
“Wernher von Braun was the chief architect of the Saturn V rocket, the superbooster that successfully propelled the Apollo missions to the Moon, including the historic Apollo 11 landing in 1969. He served as director of NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center, where he led the development of the Saturn V, which remains the most powerful launch vehicle ever flown and the only one to carry humans beyond low-Earth orbit.
“
Thanks for the several historical pointers on the rocket programs.
Werner von Braun was also the first Administrator of NASA.
Von Braun has also said they had help building the Rocket engines. L Ron Hubbard and Walt Disney were also very instrumental in the development of NASA. The Beast the world’s evilest man Alister Crowley was the entity woh helped them open the portal for the Demaeons to help them. Ever notice every rocket has the name of an Evil Greek or Roman God. We never sent a man to the moon the Van Allen Belt is too radioactive for any biological to pass thru alive. It would be like sitting in a microwave for 2 hours on super high. AI has been active since the 1950s. We do use Rockets to kill maim and destroy. The Firmament has been hit with our best nuclear missiles but cannot penetrate. Hillaries breaking that highest hardest glass ceiling has nothing to do with the woman card. 1961 Operation Fishbowl or Starfish Prime. We did the tests with Russia while supposedly fighting the Cold War. Just another way for the idiots at the top to become filthy rich taxing the HELL out of us. Bart Sibrel has made the movie something funny happened on the way to the moon has all the information one needs to find the truth. Moving things out of Colorado is a great move as Peter Puffin Polis just steals the $$$$$. Our roads are hideous we are bragging about being the Cocaine Capitol of the US. Denver currently has over 500,000 homeless destroying our state crazy times.
What ?
That’s what I thought, Ed.
Sounded like ChatGPT on acid…
It’s the Faked Moon Landing Narrative.
Wild, but I no longer dismiss everything out of hand after the Vaxx/Virus Bio-Attack in which our government tried to murder all of us.
oh my, that was just the start of that screed.
Every single physical point Articman made there is documented and easily verified from multiple sources, including official documentation. Opening the “Demon Portal” [and/or invoking “demonic forces”] is one of the admitted goals of “Luciferians/Satanists” openly stated in their own publications.
Regardless of what one believes about that demonic creed, they themselves apply those ideas to their actions.
If the world is about to end in a flash, I will please take two of whatever Articman has.
On second thought, I will take my chances in prayer.
Denver has a population of just over 700,000. There aren’t 500,000 homeless people. I live and work in Denver.
Wow! Never thought I’d read these truths on this site! Thank you!
Some would never believe the moon landing was faked even if Stanly Kubrick told them himself! Lol
I knew the engineer growing up that so improved the optics that the astronauts used for training for the moon landings, they had to upgrade the maps they used to train with.
There are times and places where the Van Allen belts have more and less impact.
The Saturn V first stage booster developed 7.5 million pounds of thrust. But Musk’s Starship uses 33 engines and creates 16.7 million pounds. The next version is expected to get near 20 million pounds.
Thank you…. Both rockets are truly engineering marvels…
He aimed for the stars. But sometimes he hit London…
Thank you, Mort Sahl!
I thought you were dead!
We flipped those former Nazis to support American Greatness.
By comparison, our Nazi Allies in Ukraine have flipped America into supporting their Nazism. They even smashed windows at the Capitol to frame all of us.
As for the wicked Occupation Government of Colorado, it is doomed, Hallelujah!
Rest in the Vine: “Stay Focused; God Will Have The Last Word (Response to Trump Verdict)” by Dutch Sheets:
“…Pat McManus, a friend who pastors in Illinois, shared a word with me. A few nights ago, the Lord awakened him with a prophetic word. Holy Spirit said,
The fire and glory of God is coming to America. It will cleanse, and it will empower. We must stay focused on Him, not the shaking, and refuse to be shaken. It will tear down that which is evil, not us; we will emerge on the other side with renewed strength and purpose, and a renewed nation. Evil will not prevail. Yes, the kingdom of darkness believes it is winning, but God will have the last word.” …….
Psalm 64
Soon and suddenly, Lord Jesus, Amen!
And Colorado continues to devolve into Commiefornia so no one can trust Colorado for any decision remotely conservative. And Tina Peters is still today in PRISON for fpllowing the law.
House – 2/3 Dims
Senate – 2/3 Dims
Governor – Dim
And just like CA, it’s an outright haven for high tech MIC and like VA it’s spook central, BOTH being huge growth industries.
You can just feel the Communists closing in on the farmers, ranchers, small businesses, single family homes in peaceful neighborhoods. Governments constantly trying to take away heat, light, water, private transportation. Ugly gray structures packed on top of each other with a park, pool, and a daycenter for the ‘family’. Old people have to live in apartments downtown over commercial properties. Ugh
Rocket City. I remember departing the plane at Tan Son Nhut Air Base and being told, “Welcome to Rocket City “.
Also in the 1966-1967 my dad (US Navy) went to Nuclear Biological Chemical Warfare Defense Officer training there. Wow, how’d I remember that name?
Average Education per capita in Huntsville is 4.5 years college.
Rocket scientist and rocket engineer are both common occupations there.
That’s the second largest FBI presence in the US. Kash Patel has indicated more will be going there instead of to DC.
US Army Materiel Command is also headquartered at Redstone Arsenal.
LMAO…. There is a poly market line on his resignation. Can’t make this up
Well, let’s see…how can we cash in on this absurdity? 😂
👍
Biden had mid-late stage dementia nobody bats an eye. Trump has varicose veins and people expect him to step down lol
“(CTH is interested in this data center)” …
And for plenty good reason!
Yes! That airport is creepy and devilish.
Punishment for Colorado vote fraud in 2020.
And for imprisoning Tina Peters for nine years for the crime of preserving the evidence.
And the government here in CO deserves that.
Karma is a ………………….well, you know the thing.
And for trying to remove President Trump off the ballot!!!
FJB moved space force to the socialist republic of Colorado. As we know from the Socialist Republic of NY the move was politically motivated like everything else leftists do. 💁🏻♀️
Space Command:
23 September 1985 – 1 October 2002 (16 years, 10 months) (first incarnation)
29 August 2019 – present (6 years) (second incarnation)
FJB didn’t move Space Force. It’s part of Space Command which was already at Peterson AFB (now SFB), CO when Space Force was created. And it’s Space Command that’s moving to Huntsville.
The Space Force dress uniform slightly resembles the Battlestar Galactica dress uniform.
Good catch.
I hope he comes out in a hospital gown with an IV bottle and hot girl wearing a tight, skimpy nurse outfit.
Melania might have something to say about that…….
she could dress up in that costume
47 is serious!!! Your not
Release Tina Peters or you will pay! Is that not what President Trump told Colorado?
while we are at it, move the AF academy out of there, also.
i wish the western slope would get off its duff and start calling for independence from the idiots on the front range. they are quite literally rivaling the antics of Cali at this point.
The western slope is just barely conservative today. Grand Junction, Aspen, Durangoare all quite lefty.
Jena’s CheatWare Voting Machines are leftist.
Real voters? I doubt it.
annieoakley: Add Montrose. By Aspen, I assume you meant West Davos 🙂
Yes. We lived on The Front Range for eight years, just 15 miles from The AF Academy which is in El Paso County. Douglas County next door is (thankfully) conservative, so the first few years were okay. But then The Front Range became so crazy with liberal whackos . . . we had to get out. Left two years ago like our hair was on fire. Now live in a red state.
I have no idea if it is even possible for our President to move the Air Force Academy, but any place in the heartland of America would be a better location for our great USAFA! Of course, that’s my opinion, having lived there and knowing the people.
US Northern Command and
Fort Carson next
Let’s leave the USAFA where it is…please. The land it sits on is absolutely beautiful land spectacular. I live one exit north of the academy and I can only fathom how the land would be destroyed by corporations and land developers.
Who says they have to CLOSE the base? Gut it except for a commissary and bowling alley.
It’s the stuff underneath that is the problem.
That’s because a lot of them are from Cali, NY, MA, VT, NJ etc. They move to Boulder then spread out. The urbanites voted to reinstate a wolf population and guess who has to deal with it, the ranchers.
And now the idiots want grizzly bears because, “They were here first”.
Perhaps the newbies will help feed the grizzlies….’cause their so cute, dontcha know.
slowly and then all at once. he’s putting the band back together.
And taking it on the road.
If I know PDJT it will be a Big Beautiful Tour Bus!
“
Can we address the craziness of the leftie/comspiracy theory rights death rumors?
“Donald Trump has been missing from public view for the last week, which has sparked widespread speculation and conspiracy theories about his health and whereabouts. His last public sighting before reappearing was at a cabinet meeting on August 26, 2025, where visible bruising on his right hand drew attention. He was next seen being escorted by the presidential motorcade from his Virginia golf club to the White House on September 1, 2025, after several days without any public appearances. The absence, coupled with the White House’s lack of communication about his condition, fueled online rumors, including false claims that he had died”
It’s a death cult. That’s all you need to know.
Well the shuffled Uncle Bernie Biden around for four years.
Happy to see it moved out of Colorado, a once beautiful state that has been destroyed under Jared Polis’ left-wing weaponized governance.
Hey, now! Colorado is still beautiful!!
To visit.
Andy Coleman: Pot dispensaries with mountains.
I wish someone would tell the White House that here in Pittsburgh, pa, I am STILL paying 3.49 a gallon for gas. My groceries are also still outrageously high. Some of the reporting is way off.
I’m paying $5/gal for premium in the Bay Area.
$2.73/regular in North Dakota
$2.99 rural Minnesota
I paid 1.59 a gallon and got a fill up and car wash near Huntsville, Alabama
I paid 3.09 today in Morehead City, NC
My hometown. I bet you’re happy Labor Day is over!
$2.93 in MULBERRY, FLORIDA! It’s going up $3.00 tomorrow so don’t move here. The traffic has become hatable, HATABLE!!!
it’s 2.99 here in south western North dakota
I buy non-ethanol gas for my 10+ y. o. vehicles. The price has been steady at $3.00 for the last year. Regular gas is at $2.79. This is in Middle TN. You should see all the out-of-state plates I see in the Kroger parking lot: CA; NV; MI etc.
So sorry for such a sighting.
Talk to Newsome about gas.
He is too busy with his $200m push to “save ourdemocracy prop 50 bS! Always know when they’re lying bigly- that that over wrought phrase must be market tested to mean something. Oh my! He presents such forceful fire in belly! (Not)! Feeble quisling metro man
Two MAJOR refineries are shutting down this year.
A state that once had 30 refineries will be down to 7 or 8.
And phx pays higher gas than the rest of AZ due to CA gas and oxygenated blend from CA refineries. Add in refiner pushback with some profit taking too.
That is what I was thinking about. Close those refineries that have to make summer gas and winter gas etc. The the dummies had a huge Lithium Battery fire around Monterey ? Half of the electrical charging stations have been vandalized. Everyone will be riding a short bus to the government grocery store except the politicians. They will be riding in Bentlys with a driver (Chinese).
Or Nadler …
Yup. Gas’Bag Gavin oughtta know.
About half of that amount is additional California state taxes! Unfortunately, I live here!
Dee H: California gasoline excise tax increased on July 1, 2025 to $0.612 per gallon from $0.596 per gallon.
$3.99 low octane, East Bay.
Same in Los Angeles.
Oh, Bonny. None of this was ever about prices.
Sorry, Bonny.
I paid $2.47 for regular gas today, and my grocery bill has dropped almost 33%.
Texas Gulf Coast area.
It is your PA TDS leaders gouging y’all.
2.70 in texas
Pittsburgh is now a very Blue City Any city built around a Publicly Supported University is going to cater to Democrats.
Bonny, thanks for sabotaging the thread.
Is anyone forcing you and the other respondents to reply to Bonny?
3.75 in Chicago ‘burbs.
Just filled my silverado up at lunch time for $2.83/gallon at the local Flying-J.
Make my own biodiesel from waste vegetable oil and pay about 10 cents a gallon.
And grow most of my own food.
Real wages are up. About 4% annualized so far. That’s principally how the inflation is being combated. Q2 GDP +3.3%.
Some price indices are slowly declining. But don’t expect widespread deflation over a short time frame. That’s how the Great Depression was fueled 95 years ago.
PA has some of the highest gasoline taxes in the Nation. What PDJT gives, Shapiro will try and take.
FWIW, I just filled up a big SUV in SE Pa. at well under $3/gal. Maybe you need to find another gas station.
Shhh….Pritzker will be saying “Hold my beer” if he hears that…
I paid $2.37 yesterday in Houston, TX. Don’t let the left steal Pennsylvania anymore.
Where in Houston? I paid $4 for Premium in Sugar Land this morning.
$ 3.19 credit card, $2.98 cash gas price in Florida. Agree with you on groceries, they haven’t budged, still high with excessive shrinkflation also.
Almost the same in WNY. Think I paid $3.20 last week.
I have to complain a bit though. Our grocery prices have taken a jump the last 3 months. Incredibly expensive compared to a year ago. I am wishing I lived rurally and grew my own food and chickens and eggs. plenty of other prices are up to—clothing, sporting goods, school supplies, etc. I’m hoping this trend reverses a bit over the next few months. It’s been tough for family members on fixed incomes.
Granddaughter’s preschool has a chicken coop to provide eggs for lunch and snacks. If well kept this is a great venture. The kids love it. At end of playground
Cheap gas @$2.41/gal and groceries have dropped about 40% here in HUNTSVILLE, ALABAMA!!!Now that the scam about SF location has been addressed, look for things to really take off!!
Our eggs up here in NH are still $6.00 a dozen.
Here’s another thing: the store brands are cheaper, but they are feeding these chickens so poorly that those store brand eggs don’t even have the right color yolks, they are a pale color.
They are not that much less than the organic, smaller breeder ones that are vastly better, so we’re at $6.00 a dozen to get eggs that actually contain some vital nutrients.
Before Covid eggs were at give away pricing.. about $2.00 a dozen was the norm for what seemed like forever. I recall when they went on sale they were $1.69 a dozen.
This was not that long ago really..
Our groceries are very high too. Beef prices are so insane that I am very worried about our kids in this country getting enough high quality protein, including my own.
Gas here is $2.99 a gallon. Which is more reasonable than it’s been BUT this has not rippled out there into lowering costs of goods and services as it did during President Trump’s first term.
So yes, I hear ya..
I dream of NH’s flipping back to red before PDJT’s term is up.
I would love to get out of blueMA, but going purple doesn’t seem like the best bargain…
A little lower in southeastern PA but not by much. 3-4 weeks ago I passed a place that had it for $2.99 but that didn’t last long. I’ve been paying about $3.29 per gallon.
And yeah, the grocery inflation is absolutely ridiculous and I’m not expecting that to ever reverse itself.
It’s all over the board in North Georgia. Anywhere from 2.76 to 2.99, depending on where you go.
It was 2.63 at Buc-Ees in Brunswick, GA about 4 weeks ago when we were coming back from vacation.
I pay $2.89/gal in Williamson County, TN. In Franklin TN it’s $3.29. I know in other surrounding counties it’s much less – low to mid $2.00. Williamson is just hopelessly high for this metro area. My brother in Mesa, AZ is always complaining about how high the gas is there – close to or $5.00/gal.
$2.58 today in SW Missouri.
$4.69 gallon unleaded here North Coast Olympic Peninsula WA…bill
PA loves high taxes. State Gas Tax: 57.6 cents per gallon. That doesn’t explain how it’s consistently $.50 higher than Ohio or WV, but it’s a start. Likely the balance of the high prices is the taxes and fees PA imposes on every layer of business that make the fuel available to the consumer.
It does not take a math wizard to see that the price per gallon at the pump is being manipulated in a very specific price band to keep the profits flowing as well as ensure fuel prices come no where near helping prices drop to December 2019 levels.
I survey 10 Fuel Outlets on nearly a daily basis and prices move in a 15-20 cent band, with regular gas never dropping below a band $2.65 to $2.90. The grades of gas and diesel follow the same trend.
Until the log jam breaks at the oil fields and refineries fuel prices are NOT going to be allowed to have the same impact they did in 22017-2019.
The Puppet Masters are just not going to be as accommodating and dam sure do not want President Trump repeating the 2019 Price Indices.
Same price in ID.
Move out of PA.
Plus Huntsville is just closer to other space assets like boca chica, michoud, stennis, and cape canaveral.
It is good that the decision makers,
utilized a decision matrix (kepner tregor, or something similar)
to look at the
options,
considerations,
and weigh and measure the considerations for each option.
i.e.
The decision was not just a flippant political quid pro quo sort of dealy bog.
It was thorough.
And yes, whether to randomly go with first, second, or third place rating does take some
honest interest in what is the best choice – for the long term – too.
p.s.
and likely, a contingent back up plan could be helpful over time.
imho
We are a REPUBLIC lady.
Colorado is too far from the border. Plus, as PDJT said: Colorado has mail-in voting which means that they are willing to cheat in elections.
Huntsville is near the Gulf of America and the Atlantic Ocean and Washington DC.
Anyone want land and cabin/house in northern Ark.🙏🇺🇸
Not just some mail-in voting.
From what PDJT said, CO sounded like Oregon (or is it WA state that does this?) – ALL mail-in voting, no other choice.
Not quite all but that is the plan.
Concern after large object seen being thrown out of top-floor window at White House
Fake news media: the thrower could have been Melania Trump.
President Trump: Fake AI video. Those windows are bullet proof, cannot be opened and are heavily sealed.
🤣
That sound of scraping from the bottom of the media barrel is getting deafening.
Gutterpress
Billy Joe McCallister?
Trump was asked about the video being floated out there showing something being thrown from the windows on tge 3rd floor of the White House.
He had not heard about that one so asked to see the video on the journalist’s phone.
He said it must be AI generated because the windows are all sealed, bulletproof, and can’t be opened because they weigh hundreds of pounds.
The President message is informative, as usual (for Trump)
regarding a wide array of current events.
It is worth a watch and listen.
imho
p.s.
And yes, there could be other worthwhile information, 10 minutes from now, or tomorrow too ….
I heard Trump saying in his open meeting the other day that grocery’s are way down in price which is the exact opposite of reality . I’m beginning to think that President Trump is completely unaware of how outrageous food prices are .
Those have not come down they keep going up . Egg’s have come down but food prices in general remain sky high .
I
Could be PR, folks attitude really affects consumer spending.
Also it’s far better in red states. Obviously.
I’m a very blue one. Some improvements, but not as many as the really good red states.
I visited Huntsville years ago when it was still a not-exploded site of foul & sinister government bureaucracy. They’d made a patch of woods into a little park. The main attraction was a complete Saturn booster laying its side. That was a HUGE machine. Our guide told us that the fuel pump for the launch engines could move 40,000 gallons of liquid H & O in one minute. The two most explosive gasses moving at forty-thousand gallons a minute. Would that kind of velocity generate static electricity?
Would that kind of velocity generate static electricity?
…well, not being a rocket scientist,
…a rocket needs something to ignite the fuel,
in order for the rocket to accelerate and move…
(and I would not be brave (or stupid in this case?) enough to want to hold a lighted match at that fueled up location. Not sure that anyone is looking for volunteers either. If one gets the drift.)
imho
I nominate the squaw from Massachusetts – Pocaontas.
That’s a good question! In order to create static electricity, at least one of the two things in sliding contact must be an electrical insulator. That’s not the case for oxygen or the various rocket fuels it reacts with, and the pumps and feed lines are generally stainless steel.
Interestingly, some of the first “computers” did have this problem. They used wooden (later paper) cards to hold the instructions – and those materials are electrical insulators. So the sliding action would excite electrons and some would be implanted onto the cards, where they accumulated a high voltage.
The President’s Q&A was fantastic; he was strong, quick and very articulate. He looked good.
I wish he’d consider more frequent weekends away.
Our President has been working prodigiously. Was glad he got some rest (if he did).
…but if brandon disappeared for weeks, months… the media just accepted it without a whimper.
Just another of years of a wide array of biased, double standard, media examples.
If it looks like a sickness, and smells like a sickness, then….
They knew that the auto-pen had Brandon’s back. /sarc

Every time I read a thread about this sorts of stuff, I’m appreciative of what an intelligent readership we’re lucky to have here to add in so much more information.
As much as I try, we can’t all know all things about all things, so the input from those with experience is excellent.
Thanks to Sundance for keeping us so “High Quality”.
Here’s to American Exceptionalism !!
Will be close to Arnold Engineering Development Center…hopefully some of the Air Force “woke” will be curtailed and also hopefully the officers will be more interested in the security of our nation than in allowing subpar data systems because their eyes are on lucrative jobs with defense companies following retirement.
Apparent drug interdiction in international waters,
occurred just before the press conference.
It was mentioned in the press conference.

will be great if they don’t bring a bunch of commie folks from Colorado with it & instead give the jobs to Alabama residents (or others who are true Patriots)
Sundance should have linked the “Democrat” response speech out of Chicago….
Am suffering thru it…the usual claptrap about the leftist accusing the right…pulling on heart strings re families and kids.
I said it yesterday…the crime in Chicago is “Un American”.
And their crime flows outward, to the suburbs that Pritzker has forgotten about.
Shows that they know nothing about the Dreaded Private Sector.
PDJT is running our bloated crapulous gummint like a business. And in business, sometimes to keep a job, you have to move.
There is already a large aerospace community in Huntsville.
My dad used to fly out there for years in the 60’s and 70’s from California when he worked for McDonnell Douglas . They were working on McDonnell’s portion of the Apollo space program and he was a quality control engineer.
He always said Huntsville was a very nice city , built around those programs, with good schools and housing.. Space-Force should have a good home in Alabama.
Huntsville is also the home of MTMUS. Mazda Toyota Motors US.
Venezuela announces the sinking of a commercial fishing boat with many women and children on board in 3…2…1
Seriously ill children on their way to Cuba to be healed by Russian Doctors, the best in the world.
I wonder what we sunk it with

Would be guessing but drone with hellfire might be a valid guess.
Those were Tren de Aragua Narcoterrorists positively identified. No women or children.
But I thought our missiles only killed women and children. 🤓
UCAV missile
Also, Little Marco got a new war, today!
You sure your in the right place?
The ‘right place’ for what?
We be the MAGA, we be not?
Texas, are you sure you’re in the right place?
Some details would be nice, but what justification does the U.S. Navy have to fire on another vessel? Would it not be more lawful to board the vessel and actually find drugs first rather than shooting first and flaunting it without evidence of illegal activity?
Are we pirates now?? Aaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrghhhh
Depends if they have a death wish or not
They were positively identified a a Navy Seal Team as Tren de Aragua Narcoterrorists
Please delay all major wars for 3 to 5 years which, based upon approaching economic realities, I put as the sweet spot for one:
Based on Department of Defense (DoD) assessments, Government Accountability Office (GAO) reports, and statements from involved officials, the full relocation is projected to take 3–5 years from the announcement date (i.e., completion by late 2028 to mid-2030).
President Trump on the Friday interview with the Daily Caller bewailed that the Isreal doesn’t have the “total control ” over congress it once had. Well , I give him kudos at least for stating the obvious truth. That he is also giving them the green light ( as well as the tools) to get it over with is also self -evident and he’s not hiding it , it would seem.
That is one band/bond of the Gordian knot he absolutely needs to sever… though unlikely to. This is a real blind spot and his Achilles Heal that likely will bite and burn him. Who has got his ear attuned only to their whisperings to exploit his weak-spot? And why do the manipulated fundamentalist Christian-Zionist have such a hold on him ? I could hazard several guesses but regardless this is certainly not a path Pat Buchanan would advocate…🤔
Whoa! Them’s some powerful mixed metaphors you got there.
” I could hazard several guesses “
Well, have at it then.
Is someone stopping you?
Go for at least a couple.
He warned Colorado that there would be consequences for not releasing Tina Peters
Let’s be real – this is all about Tina Peters.
I work for one of the richest companies in the world. We pay the highest salary bands, we cover 100% of health insurance costs, people stay here for their entire careers. That said, we still have a difficult time getting people to move to Texas.
Alabama has one of the poorest education and healthcare systems in the entire country. Not to mention it’s lack of culture. Good luck getting any top-tier talent to move there. Texas, while imperfect, is several rungs above Alabama.
I wouldn’t be so sure.
Colorado’s crime rate is much higher than Alabama. Also cost of living is greatly higher than Alabama (AI – Colorado’s cost is 13% above the national average and Alabama’s is 12% below the national average.)
Culture? Matter of taste. Southern friendliness and hospitality is hard to beat. That’s my experience, and I’ve lived north, south, and west.
PS. They may not know what grits are when they move there though. 😁
Alabama loves home schooling. Take that into account.
Alabama sucks, but there are pockets livable everywhere. Mountain Home and Huntsville are very nice places. I would move to either over anything in Texas. The talent comment is pure silliness. Talented people move to freaking Chicago.
My goodness there is much you do not know about Huntsville Alabama.
What are they up too?
Several sources $1 billion annual economic loss for Colorado.
So much space work (at least what’s left of it, as NASA science and actual space exploration is dismantled with 50% cuts in favor of flag planting manned missions whose only purpose is beating various other countries to some place by some time) concentrated in areas with unfavorable climates … 90% humidity, frequent storms and hurricane blow-throughs, maintaining climate control so things don’t corrode, the insects, etc. Houston, Huntsville, Kennedy Space center.
Have lived in Texas and visited Gulf Coast states but never again and would relocate to the middle of the Mojave desert before Texas, Lousiana, Alabama, Florida, etc. 110 degrees with 20% humidity is pleasant compared to 90 deg. with 90% humidity. Physically oppressive climates. But apparently some can tolerate it … retirees with no metabolism, etc.
Guess Alabama should be thankful for their “humid, uneducated image” that keeps the riff raff out.
Don’t even think about living in “Darkest Alabama.”
It doesn’t suit a certain population. True.
Alabama seems “fine” with that.
Sweet. Stay out.
Colorado is inland, not the ideal local for experimental rocket launches.
Hold your cheers until Judge Boasberg issues his ruling.
“…Off they go
Into the wild blue yonder
Flying high
Into the sky…”
Almost all of the MIC PM’s are on the East Coast.
It was with great pleasure watching that boat of drug dealers annihilated this morning on the high seas.
See ya later Tren de losers.
Contractor wise, anybody’s who’s anybody is in Huntsville, AL. People unfamiliar with “The Rocket City” have no idea how many Space Engineers are located in the Huntsville area.
The very substantial economic penalty of the Space Command leaving CO is a lovely parting gift from PDJT to the leftist miscreants in the state.
Great move! Redstone/Alabama is where the Space Force should be. Get that division out of lefty liberal Colorado I say. The potato head Biden did that. Shameful
Intended or not, another good tribute to Robert Goddard, our own rocket man.
