I live in a land of rampant atheism (blueMA). I know a lot especially in my own family.
And every single one of them despises and denigrates Christians as fools who refuse to recognize the atheists’ supposedly superior worship of “science.” It was all I ever heard growing up, and common conversation with many people I know today.

While Gorka raises various valid criticisms of Keller, I believe he has erred on one important point, bringing in a “mental health” diagnosis. Illnesses involving the mind or brain do not lead to this kind of thing but reveal themselves in other behavior. If the shooter was on certain drugs then this may have contributed but this still does not make it a so called mental health issue. He may have been deluded or indoctrinated, filled with hatred or done this because of being a part of a crooked and twisted generation but he was fully responsible for his actions which were totally inexcusable. We have to recognize evil people and not give them a mental health excuse for their actions.
