I watched the segment and heard them say the shooter worked at a weed dispensary and was a heavy user. Laura and Alex also expressed a desire that PDJT not “reschedule” marijuana since it was dangerous and could make it more widely available. I did not hear them say the shooting was solely because of weed (which I believe with today’s THC levels is clearly a dangerous neurotoxin).
About 25 percent of the US population is on psychotropic medication.
THC is contraindicated for psychotropics, but no user is ever explicitly warned of the potentially fatal damage or of the potentially permanent brain damage from mixing the two. Not explicitly warned by the prescribing doctor, not warned by the pot shop.

At a minimum, it should be illegal to knowingly sell pot to anyone who is currently taking ssri’s, benzos, adhd drugs, or similar prescription medication.
Spot on. Cannabis by itself is rather benign unless the user has underlying psychiatric conditions.
Cannabis used for anything other than treatment for debilitating conditions will lead to negative outcomes. It’s just the metaphysical nature of the plant. The effects boil down to intent. All bets are off when any hallucinogen is coupled with deadly Doctor Dope.
Both marijuana and prescribed psychiatric meds could have contributed this violence.
There is a strong correlation between marijuana usage and schizophrenia and bi-polar disorder. It is incumbent upon the Libertarian to prove to us the falseness of that correlation scientifically. I will not support a soundbite response.
There will be Libertarians supporting legalized marijuana until Doomsday. Let’s look at states that have legalized marijuana, have any of them improved?

From now on, any Pfizer, Moderna, or Novavax mRNA Covid jab has no legal immunity from lawsuits for resulting damage.

I hope President Trump channels President Reagan and the ATCs. Were these protestors on the clock? If so, each and every one of them who protested on official duty time can be charged with AWOL. It’s clearly an act of misconduct. It’s not an offense that merits dismissal, but depending on their grade, either a verbal or formal reprimand would be perfectly justified by OPM regs.

Depending on their grades, most likely this is not a firing offense. You don’t want to go in that direction anyway. It’s too costly and the firings would be tied up forever in litigation (e.g. MSPB appeals). The cases possibly wouldn’t be adjudicated until long after President Trump leaves office.
Progressive disciplinary action is the way to deal with these SOBs. Reprimand, Suspension, and then Dismissal from federal service. It’s not complicated. But when one takes short cuts, we often lose.
These are the demons that had a strangle hold an institution designed to keep the human race safe from extinction event virus’s. We were compromised.

That works to our benefit. Each of these employees should have some sort of disciplinary action taken against them within a week. If there are no previous disciplinary actions against the employee, non-management, bargaining unit employees should get a formal reprimand. If management folks were involved, for them you might be able to go directly to a suspension.

An employer can fire anyone at any time, with or without cause.
The “due process” comes after you turn in your card key, laptop and get your sorry carcass off of the employers property.
