A mass shooting event in Minneapolis, Minnesota at the Annunciation Catholic School. The shooting started after the school mass began. A man dressed in all black and armed with a rifle was reported at the scene. NBC reports the shooter died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The school is in southwest Minneapolis.
There are a reported 20 victims, unknown fatalities. A “Mass casualty response” began immediately. The FBI is on-scene. A massive law enforcement presence is throughout the area. The suspect is deceased. The first call to 911 came at 8:27AM local time.
The school — which serves prekindergarten through eighth grade — had an all-school Mass scheduled at 8:15 a.m. local time, according to the school website. President Trump said he had been briefed on the incident, writing a Truth Social post about the shooting shortly before 11 a.m. EDT.
“I have been fully briefed on the tragic shooting in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The FBI quickly responded, and they are on the scene. The White House will continue to monitor this terrible situation. Please join me in praying for everyone involved!”

Consider this, also. A killer’s social media account may contain months or years of normal communication with friends or family WHO ABSOLUTELY DETEST what their once friend has done!

Other Catholic schools have shut down.
At the scene the shooter had barricaded a few church doors with 2 x 4’s.
He seemed to have stayed outside and shot through the windows: dozens of shell casings found outside, fired all three weapons. No information on whether he had licensed weapons.
An explosive device of some sort was found in the shooter’s car.
Questions were cut off at 12:06 E.S.T. rather abruptly by an official of some sort.
The Mayor (who reminded me of Beto O’Rourke) ran out and made a contrived emotional speech bordering on the political, before the police could provide any actual details.

I drove by this church many, many times when we lived in South Minneapolis. We lived just a little east of the church, close to Diamond Lake. At the time, about 20 years ago, the entire area was very nice.

Here is an example of how their brains don’t work. I was at the state fair Monday and in front of the GOP building a small group of liberal white women had t-shirts claiming Trump responsible for climate disasters, Trump giving tax breaks to billionaires, starving poor children, and setting up immigrant concentration camps.
I thought I needed to ask a few questions so I picked one that wasn’t busy and asked about why they are out there. She said “to engage with voters”. OK, so I started asking about the camps, who what where, you know, and she claimed that legal immigrants are being picked up at their court hearings and shipped there. I asked where she got that info, no answer. I asked whether these were Illegal and she said no, they went to a court hearing with papers and the court revoked their status and nabbed them. I asked if that changed their status and she said no, the courts can’t just revoke their status.
I then asked if she let her drivers license lapse, got stopped for something, didn’t she think there would be a penalty? No answer. I then asked if she thought every person from anywhere in the world should be able to come here without getting legal status. The answer was “we need these workers to do the dirty work Americans won’t”. Well, when I asked “isn’t that just a modern version of slavery, based on racism, the democrats have never let go? Aren’t you a racist for wanting third world uneducated workers to do your bidding?”
Then she said “I don’t have to listen to this, I’m disengaging from this conversation”. I finally asked “well, why are you here if you can’t engage with someone and answer simple questions?” She ran away to her little group of Karen’s.
