The social media conversation was triggered by an article in the Wall Street Journal {SEE HERE} which claimed Elon Musk was reconsidering, actually setting aside the third-party option, and was likely to back JD Vance as his 2028 presidential nominee instead.
Factually, for those in the minority who are intellectually honest non-pretenders, the framework of the subsequent online discussion from that WSJ article was laughable. Personally, I wanted to ridicule anyone who was buying into the nonsense that Musk and the Tech alliance (Ellison, Thiel, Sacks, Andreesen, et al) had another option in mind other than Vance.
Silicon Valley is a singular organism when it comes to their collective interests. Palantir founder Peter Thiel has invested in JD Vance since 2013, and the PayPal mafia which includes Elon Musk have never diverged. There is no way Thiel, Musk and the Tech alliance are going to support anyone other than Vance. By the time we get to 2028 they will have a total investment of money and time that spans 15 years in Vance. JD Vance will be the Silicon Valley candidate.
JD Vance knows this. As the conversation about bringing Elon Musk back into the Trump camp is triggered, it is not coincidental that JD Vance becomes the conduit. If JD Vance wants to be the presidential nominee in 2028, he will rely on Musk and crew; there is no other candidate for Silicon Valley. WATCH:
If the Tech Bros want to reenter the epicenter of influence, they will rely on Vance to get them there. Hence, with the rumors of the Tech group wanting to reengage, we see a much more visible JD Vance.
I’m already worried about the GOP’s chances of winning PA in the next POTUS election.
Shapiro just might be their nominee, although his being Jewish might, hard to tell, be a sticking point for the crazy left.
However, should he not get the nomination, he might be placed in the Veep spot. I know little about PA except Philly always cheats big.
I can see trouble for the GOP because of Shapiro.

The crazy left doesn’t vote in big enough numbers to worry me. They’re a very vocal, very active minority who get a lot of press coverage, which is why it seems like there are a lot of them. The socialists will have to decide whether Shapiro is a “good Jew” like Soros and Schemer or a “bad Jew.” I’d love to see him appear on Tucker Carlson’s podcast and see how he reacts to Carlson’s anti-Semitic/anti-Israel ranting.
I think the key will be the identity voters, the kind of people who voted for 0bama because he’s black, Clinton because she’s a woman, and Harris because she’s black and she’s a woman. I could see people voting for Shapiro because he’s Jewish to virtue-signal their open-mindedness. I would expect the socialists to pander to those voters by finding a Hispanic VP, perhaps even a Hispanic woman. Grisham from New Mexico comes to mind; she’s Hispanic, a woman, and she’s relatively scandal-free compared to many other politicians.

You’ve got to hand it to JD, he’s smooth. Really smooth. Obviously, he is a very intelligent and has well-practiced his skills at being articulate, fluent, and well-spoken. Bravo. Many if not most Americans like that style.
The guy can think critically off the top of his head, with confidence and seemingly genuine sincerity, and so I think the Tech Bros see someone with the political talents they sorely lack, someone they can purchase through “donations” and pretend friendships that they can then lead down the path to multiple more billions for themselves.
It’s all about the Benjamins. It’s always about money. Mankind has turned the purpose of life into a religion of chasing money. Any way you can get it, and then more of it. Legal or illegal. Through fraud, thievery, governmental corruption or even murder. Don’t matter. Doesn’t matter who you hurt in the process.

Tulsi could pull it off. She speaks extremely well, is down to earth, likeable personality, former dem, she’s got it all. And the first woman pres? I think the country wanted Hillary bc she was a woman and they are thus, due for a presidency, but Hillary was so easy to hate. She’s a terrible person and seems bitter and vengeful. Tulsi is the complete opposite and I think she’s the best chance to beat JD the snake.
