The lack of firings amid the top-tier of FBI leadership has been a nagging concern.
Today, Fox News is reporting on the firing of three very consequential and corrupt FBI officials, former FBI acting director, Brian Driscoll; acting director of the Washington Field Office who targeted the J6 attendees, Steven Jensen, and Walter Giardina, the special agent who played a role in the investigation of Trump trade advisor, Peter Navarro.
Steven Jensen was a particular thorn in the side of those who understood his role in continuing the FBI corrupt activity and targeting the J6 attendees.
WASHINGTON – […] Driscoll, for his part, served as acting director of the FBI prior to the confirmation of FBI Director Kash Patel, and Jensen played a key role in the January 6 investigations.
Senior FBI officials told the agents in question that they needed to leave by Friday, with no specific reason given to them individually.
One individual with knowledge of the removals described it as “retribution.”
Individuals familiar with the matter told Fox News that more ousters are expected at the bureau by the end of the week, though the exact number of personnel included, or their roles at the bureau, are unclear. (read more)
More oustings are also expected at the bureau today and tomorrow, though the number of individuals who could be impacted is unclear.
Today's forced departures have sent shockwaves through rank-and-file FBI, months after many concerns post-J6 questionnaire had abated…. https://t.co/ydu5DMuLmk

I’m ok with retribution.
Absolutely. You have to speak to them in the language that they understand.
We could throw them in a room full of J6’ers
👍
lol!!!!
Holding over J 6 agents was particularly bothering me, so I welcome this. They abused their power to go after fellow Americans in the most disturbing cruel way
Hopefully if anyone goes to prison they will put them in the DC gulag.
Federalize DC, fill it in and pave it over. How about the scumbag who shot Ashli Babbitt? Career idiot, strip his citizenship and drop him off in antartica!
Cecot.
You must mean a fully equipped tool shed, no?
Great idea!
No, retribution would be using Lawfare to bankrupt these individuals. This is Justice.

Here is some commentary about a 6 month prohibition on firings. No clue if true but the timing works.

Oops, not sure how that happened. This seems to work
Interesting point. Thanks.
As of today, a little more than 6.5 months.
Swamp Draining

I hope a lot more to come
Me too
Bye.
Oh…it must be Rrrrreeeeetttrrrribbbuuuuttttiiii0n
About time.
PDJT is their huckleberry.
Ruthlessly rode the power train thinking it would never stop for inspection and when it did “we were doing our job” would be a defense. In most cases they would get away with it. Now do the next tier. Then the next tier, until the entire organization quakes with the same fear they put into everyone they abused.
Too get to that same level of fear they would have to prosecute and place these thugs into hell-hole cells, destroy their livelihood and finances, and do their best to destroy their families.
Too bad they weren’t’ perp walked out of there by Federal Marshalls!
I was wondering why these people were not fired on day one, and I realized Kash Patel and Don Bogino had no experience at the FBI and needed some training. So the fired agents trained their replacements.
They, and many others, certainly have had plenty of time to sabotage any future investigations.
How many burn bag were actually burned?
Three mostly good agents down, 37, 997 to go.
I remember when we talked about the white hats in the FBI. That turned out to be a real laugher. I hope there is one.
I am okay with shockwaves.
They call it shockwaves. We call it a thing of beauty!
Better late than never.
This is a slap on the wrist. The deserved retribution would be for all those involved to be disappeared. No need to bring in the courts, justice department, or judges as they have proven to be corrupt.
Disappeared? Maybe ultimately, but I’d like to watch some severe prolonged suffering first.
Breanne Dipshitz, an avid anti-Trumper, was hired by FOX digital coverage last year.
One of many yuge reasons why we know FOX is just as much of an enemy as the clinton news network.
“Today’s forced departures have sent shockwaves through rank-and-file FBI, months after many concerns post-J6 questionnaire had abated….”
Rank and file, rank and file, rank and file, Marsha, Marsha, Marsha, it’s always FIB rank and file that are the “good guys,” huh Hannity, who also works at FOX.
And months after “many concerns post-J6” had abated, there are thousands of us who attended President Trump’s rally who still feel the sting of government traitors hunting us down like dogs.
Retribution? Oh no toots, this is justice.
I guess those 3 were not involved in the J6 pipe bomber. I know they have that guy??? And all the folks that knew the DNC bomb was there that walked around it and let a mom and kid walk by it. I know they have that guy. He was probably an FBI agent.
The whole lot of them gave the guy tips on how to make bombs the right way, just like they always make staged bombs to take other people out.
Rank and file! It was rank and file fblie agents who volunteered to raid the home of an American President with “use of deadly force” orders. Meaning they had ample rank and file fblie agents who were more than happy to assinate President Trump and murder his family.
This is just a small thing compared to what most of the J6ers went through but the person who did my taxes informed me she did not want to do my taxes anymore because I attended the rally. I told her to put every copy she had of my previous taxes on her porch and I would come and get them. I made it obvious I was accusing her of doing something illegal with them. Small comfort – better than nothing.
Now when do we see those fresh, young dei hired fbi “agents” who were taking a knee for that communist street gang get cashiered?
Does POTUS want them in the new fbi? This would not be retribution, but a cleanup in Aisle 7.
I am assuming that the homes of these agents have already been searched and necessary items brought into custody.
?
But, but, but, they’re just non-partisan career civil servants. They don’t care who the president is and they don’t play politics. S/
“One individual with knowledge of the removals described it as “retribution.”
That individual needs a bit of investigation for their own role in violating the rights of Americans.
Shockwave thru the fbi, great. A follow-up tsunami would be nice
It is not perp walks, but I will take it. Hopefully they sang like birds.
MAGA struck
You’ve been MAGA struck!
Next throw them in jail
I disagree with the entire decision made by DFBI Patell. . !
This is where we’ll begin to see indications of whether or NOT, the new FBI is going to continue in tracks of the old FBLie.
IMO, there were several criminal acts involved with and as a direct result of, the events on 06JAN20.
Many of these crimes were premeditated actions committed by either FBLie Agents directly, or they were committed by Civilians, acting under the directions of, as Agents of, their FBLie Handlers. This damn well may include the planting of an IED (Real/Fake) to stir public alarm and further vilify those MAGA supporters in D.C., on that day.
IF you believe like I do (many others do), that most of the premeditation for these actions were a result of planning and acts on the part of FBLie hierarchy. To say nothing of the Swamp, Intelligence Community and Federal District Judges. Then allowing these Key Members, of what I’ll term the criminal conspiracy atop the Bureau, to walk free, now as self-proclaimed martyrs. Is not only a huge investigative procedural mistake, this action also sends the message that, the Get Outta Jail Free card is in play. . .
These two members should be interviewed, under a Polygraph (as is authorized under Contract). To determine the classic, What did they know and When, did they know it. Jim Comey, Andrew McCabe, Peter Strzok, et al, did not operate inside a vacuum, or a TSCIF. Rather they operated inside the FBLie hierarchy. Which involved these two men, among others.
No one, cooperates with a criminal investigation out of their concerns for Public Safety. They are flipped into Cooperating, because they made to understand that their A** is swinging in the breeze. Once the Alea iacta est (“The die is cast”) and the word gets out, “Don’t worry, we’re all going to be fine”. . .
America might just as well surrender to anarchy and the socialist’s policies of two tiered justice. . .
Just because they were fired doesn’t mean they won’t face charges down the road.
I doubt they were Fired, most of the hierarchy have 25, or more years in the Bureau.
Retirement is always factored into any action deemed, too risky.
Being told to leave the building come CoB on Friday, is not being Fired in the FBI.
Fired means you surrender your firearm, your Hall Pass-Building Identification Card and you’re then escorted from the building. . .
These clowns are being allowed to become examples of future dealings. Not exactly the way to create, the Fear of Prosecution.
Largely because their colleagues all know, what their exposure is, compared to that of these examples. . .
I hope this is not a Clean-Up mission, there’s already been a decade of that nonsense. . .
You are absolutely right.
Correct.
But it does mean you and I won’t be paying their legal bills.
Well stated.
Did they lose their pensions or do we get to keep paying them?
If terminated for cause, before they had their 25 (20 if 50+ yrs old) years in to be eligible to retire, they lose their chance at a full pension. They get to keep money they had paid into their TSP (government managed 401k).
Wow, day 200!
3 firings out of the ten’s of thousands of binden, weaponization, criminal thugs still to be fired in the DOJ and 3-letter departments.
Pssssssst – don’t forget – to cancel their security clearances.
About frikkin time. Retribution: synonymous with revenge, retaliation, reprisal. A good stiff kick in the ass is still a step forward. Good work by Patel and Bongino.
Good work? Maybe not in light of what “Rightfield” said.
The Gateway Pundit exaggerated a bit…..I call these firings a paper cut. Not even more than a drop in the bucket.
BREAKING: BLOODBATH: FBI Fires Former Acting Director Brian Driscoll, Senior Officials Involved in Jan 6 Cases, Trump Investigationsby Cristina Laila Aug. 7, 2025 11:40 am
https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2025/08/breaking-fbi-fires-former-acting-director-brian-driscoll/
As long as THEY and their buddies think that it is a Blood Bath then it is still great news.
THEY are getting demoralized in a drip, drip and death by a thousand cuts campaign.
THEY thought that since they survived the first 200 days that THEY were safe.
Now THEY are all learning that no one is safe.
This is fun to watch because the hits keep on coming.
Once PDJT gets our Economic house in order and business booming in this country then he and his team can have more free time for even more Retribution.
This is going to be amazing to watch for those of us who want to see them squirm.
Exactly. And it’s notoriously difficult to fire a federal agent. It can’t be willy nilly. Patel and numerous senior HR people would have had to agree to it. There had to be a paper trail, a cause or causes, to warrant termination.
These fired agents have the right to hire counsel and fight their terminations in court and at the MSPB.
If they were fired, not just demoted, reassigned, etc, then the agency had the goods on them.
Hopefully that’s the case, and the FBI HR and OPR/OIG/IA folks crossed all their T’s and dotted their I’s, and the terminations will stick.
I’ve seen several federal agents that got fired, that truly did not deserve it, that got fired for doing the right thing, get their jobs back after being out for 2-3 years. With back pay, interest, etc.
I used to tell my guys, whatever you do, don’t lie. Never. If you’re one of the unlucky ones that gets disciplined or fired for doing the RIGHT thing, you’ll eventually prevail, as long as you were completely truthful.
I bet these particular FBI guys stay fired.
Just a paper cut, but the inbred hemophiliac FBI might bleed out.
That’s S.O.P. for GP. Hyperbole is their go-to for headlines…..
Still , I browse their headlines at least twice a day since they do tend to publish news relatively early in every story’s cycle…..
Of course demsheviks will Orwellianize accountability for retribution.
>>One individual with knowledge of the removals described it as “retribution.”
Slap on the wrist, more like. Pinochet would have given them half a helicopter ride.
So would I, for that matter. “Fired.” Ooh, how super despotic. Only evil dictators fire people, you know.
Retribution would be shite canned January 21st! This is more like a ho-hum firing.
Maybe some J6ers will be on their juries. I can hope.
potempkin village firings.🤨
Brian Driscoll, Walter Giardina and Steven Jensen have been fired from the FBI. Explore potential avenues for their future employment based on their expertise based on their FBI roles.
Grok 3 AI:
[Lots of details about juicy opportunities]
Conclusion
Brian Driscoll, Walter Giardina, and Steven Jensen have a wealth of experience in leadership, investigations, and national security that positions them for diverse opportunities in private security, defense contracting, academia, legal consulting, media, and advocacy. Their specific FBI roles suggest Driscoll is best suited for leadership-focused roles (e.g., CSO, academia), Jensen for investigative or compliance roles (e.g., consulting, legal), and Giardina for specialized investigative or legal consulting work. However, their recent terminations, linked to politically charged investigations, may require strategic positioning to overcome potential employer concerns about bias or controversy. They should leverage their FBI credentials, networks, and public profiles to explore these avenues, tailoring their approaches to align with their individual strengths and the needs of prospective employers.
Maybe they can get jobs posting SPAM all over the internet?
That’s about all they’re qualified to do, wouldn’t you agree?
0.o
Grok, ask me how I know that all prospective employers for these crooks will be lefties.
Pull security clearances
I don’t believe everything Grok says but hey Soros is hiring! Lol
This is very Good Newsw.
They will be hired by the outside agency (three letters that are never mentioned here) that trains FBI agents.
What do you mean “never mentioned here”? Strzok called the IC “the sisters” IIRC, and maybe 2 days ago Sundance pointed out that Strzok was afforded recognition by CIA for his work.
Maybe Normie doesn’t know this, but around here it’s common knowledge.
Apologies if I missed an attempt at sarcasm.
“outside agency”
NGO
Too bad they didn’t fire them yesterday on August 6th, you know 8-6 them.
Well, here we are, 200 days into Trump 47 and, finally, we may be getting some accountability.
They should get everybody out that they know are honest, non-corrupt, patriots who earn their pay, then BunkerBust the building (while the rest go about their corrupt activities inside).
Put that in the suggestion box, please …
I suspect that most of these individuals who were dismissed were “at will” employees who work “at the pleasure” of the FBI Director, therefore, they can be fired “without cause” and no explanation is needed/required for their dismissal. At Will employees are well aware of their tenuous status when they are hired and have no recourse.
At will,
also means the employee can leave,
( or stay, if employer concurs )
whenever…
The Drizz and Jensen were in senior executive service positions.
Looked up these three. You can tell a lot by reading faces. These three gems look pretty much like I thought they would.
The vast majority of them are very corrupt. And they have zero in common with patriotic Christian Americans.
End
Burn them all!
Retribution will be sending them to jail for several years without any trial.
And put in solitary confinement.
If they were fired, it was for cause. It takes a pretty good paper trail and damning evidence to terminate even an “excepted service” federal employee. More people than just Kash Patel made the decision, to include career HR people.
FBI agents are not union members, but still have the right to secure their own counsel and fight their termination in the courts and MSPB, et al.
I also believe that they have an FBI agents “association” and FLEOA that they could have been paying members of that is obligated to defend them if those associations believe the terminations were unjust.
It’s all kept fairly hush hush, except the final decision by MSPB, due to the fired employees right to privacy.
Sooooo……if these “fired” guys weren’t already eligible to retire w/pension, and don’t fight it via the system, that means that Patel and HR people and OPR/OIG people had the goods on them.
Sundance has outlined how FBI lied to courts to get warrants and to appear legit when a certain inner circle knew that it was all BS. I am curious to see if there is any internal communication to say, team leads or other lower level leadership that tells these same lies and predicates orders to direct rank and file activities.
If FBI leadership goes to judge [with false and deliberately misleading information] and says Trump is a crook, so give us a warrant. The judge approves said warrant. The approved warrant is provided to lower levels of FBI leadership who then directs and briefs his raid team that the warrant proves that there is a smoking gun to be found and the “rank and file” operate based on the assumption that the process has been properly applied. They don’t know that they are being manipulated, especially the young new hires fresh out of a liberalized college.
When they find out what its really all about, they quit. Leaving behind only the truly ideologically aligned.
Disband the fib.
just an assumption:

I do not know
I usually feel sorry for the homeless and destitute.
But in this case . . .
Seriously, we will know real progress is being made when the DC area housing market experiences a depression. Until then, keep on firing ’em!!
Tick Tock Hannity hit hardest. News at 11.
