Many people are questioning why Tulsi Gabbard is able to discover and expose activity by the Obama administration and the Intelligence Community, yet prior office holders did not.
Last year, when asked for approaches that could assist a Trump Term-2, I outlined the possibilities for the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI). What we are seeing today is running in direct parallel to that original outline.
As our conversation expands, and we await the counter attack against her, perhaps it is worth a revisit. I will explain the predictable counter attack at the end.
August, 2024 – 
The ODNI was created as an outcome of the 9-11 Commission recommendations. In the era shortly after 9/11, the DC national security apparatus was constructed to preserve continuity of government and simultaneously view all Americans as potential threats.
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) were created specifically for this purpose.
Washington DC created the modern national security apparatus immediately and hurriedly after 9/11/01. DHS came along in 2002, and within the Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act of 2004 the ODNI was formed.
When Barack Obama and Eric Holder arrived a few years later, those newly formed institutions were viewed as opportunities to create a very specific national security apparatus that would focus almost exclusively against their political opposition.
Here is the weird part. The ODNI was formed in 2004, with the intent for the office to be the pivot point of a national security radar. The DNI was intended to provide information to domestic agencies about foreign terror networks that would prevent something like 9-11 from happening again. However, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence has never, not for one day, operated on this intent. This is why they are such a critical position from my perspective.
The office was new, not established yet as a functioning silo, when Barack Obama and Eric Holder arrived in 2009. They quickly dispatched an idiot, James Clapper, into the operation so they could weaponize around the offices’ fulcrum point.
Prior to the DNI office existing, the CIA radar would sweep externally and then report to the Office of the President. The DNI was intended to take external radar sweep (CIA) and make it a full 360° circle, adding a sweep inside the USA that would be handled by the Dept of Homeland Security.
The DHS sweep and the CIA sweep would then be combined into a central collection hub called the ODNI. Everyone with responsibility for “national security” could access the ODNI material. Essentially and presumably, post 9-11 nothing like jihadists practicing to fly airplanes would be missed again; at least that was the intent.
The weird part is that because the DNI was immediately weaponized, the office has never functioned to the purpose of its intent.
No one truly knows what the office possibilities consist of, because no one has ever seen anyone try to functionally control the hub. If you think I’m joking about the intent of Obama and John Brennan using the DNI, watch this video. This is before Brennan became CIA Director; this is when Brennan was helping Barack Obama put the pillars into place.

For the intents of this outline, the takeaway is how the DNI office has never been used for good. In a strategic way, that can be used to our advantage if you are talking about leveraging silos against each other.
Example: The DNI can assemble material from any silo. Meaning the DNI can reach into any IC silo and extract anything they want. Under the original authorities given to the DNI, this authority exists. So, let’s spread the wings on this office and do exactly what it is permitted to do, only this time extract for the purpose of showing the President what is happening in every silo.
In essence, the DNI *CAN BE* deployed like a super strong cross-silo inspector general’s office. Force the other IC silos to comply with the demands of the DNI. This has never been done. But the DNI has this unique power.
The DNI can make the FBI, DOJ, DOJ-NSD, DoD, DoS and CIA provide anything and everything they demand. Instead of the other silos using blocks and threats against the office of the President, use the authority of the DNI to get them without confrontation. Then use the DNI to declassify the documents (if requested by POTUS), instead of the originating silo.
Can you see how the DNI office can be repurposed to be a seriously strong weapon in the toolbox of the President, against the schemes of those inside the various IC silos? The DNI becomes much more important than the CIA Director, NSA Director, FBI Director, Attorney General, etc, because the DNI can just show up and say, “give me this.” That’s the whole functional purpose of the DNI office that has never been exerted; let’s flippin’ use it.
Let’s use the office of the DNI as the central information hub that takes information from inside the corrupt silos, then provides that information to the President who puts sunlight upon it. Each corrupt silo penetrated with disinfectant. This could begin a process to pull down the shadow operations and let the American public see what has been happening inside our IC apparatus.
To accomplish this approach, the National Security Advisor to the President (NSA), would be the person who tells the DNI exactly what they are looking for.
How does the NSA know what to look for? Because the National Security Advisor is the head of the National Security Council (NSC).
Let the NSC monitor the silos with specific intent, then provide Trump’s NatSec Advisor, [now Rubio], with details on what appears to be happening and where. With the approval of the President, the NSA then turns to the DNI and says, “POTUS wants this, go get this.”
Raw, unfiltered, unredacted information. The silo administrators end up in a fight with the ODNI, not the office of President Trump. President Trump then uses the power of his office to support the demands of the DNI.
Under this approach the DNI has a lot more power; yet funnily, it’s power they already have – yet have never utilized.
Unfortunately, the DNI needs to be confirmed by the Senate Intelligence Committee – so, this factors into who could achieve the position. [NOTE: Ric Grenell is too valuable in another position.] John Ratcliffe might be a possibility, but I’m not sure he would be strong enough to go up against the system he knows well (and on a character issue he’s bff’s with Trey Gowdy).
Preferably, we really want an outsider in this role; yet any true outsider is going to face massive scrutiny getting through the nomination filter. [Prior Outline END]
ADD: That’s exactly what happened with Tulsi Gabbard’s nomination.
Why didn’t John Ratcliffe discover this information when he was DNI?
The occam’s razor answer is, he wasn’t looking.
Ratcliffe is part of the IC apparatus that structurally retains the guardrails allowing the IC to exist as the strongest, non statutory, part of our government. Ratcliffe, like Devin Nunes, believes in the system. They see the world threat through the prism of the IC system that tells them where, when and why to be fearful.
John Ratcliffe also worked for John Ashcroft, the main author of the Patriot Act.
They are not bad men, they just believe the worldview presented, because it has always been thus.
But now is not then. Our ‘this’ is no longer ‘thus’. Now we have President Trump, the embodiment of kryptonite to the superstate.
Now we enter the era when great boldness is needed. Brutal honesty is required. A combination of humility and arrogance is needed. Totally different skillsets.
Ratcliffe believes in the system, but he is simultaneously open to allowing Tulsi to do her thing and show him the dangers he doesn’t see.
EXAMPLE: Tulsi took the National Intelligence Council (NIC) out of the CIA. Tulsi could not do that without Ratcliffe’s agreement.
Now, Ratcliffe is watching Gabbard work, seeing what it brings to the surface, seeing a DNI -funnily an office he held- through an entirely new prism. Ratcliffe operated the DNI in the same way that all prior DNI’s operated it. Tulsi is operating the DNI in a completely different way.
I have written about the possibilities of the DNI office, the unknown power when the office was created. Now I am watching Tulsi Gabbard test my theories in real time, and it is beyond cool.
Again, this response may not make sense to most. You really have to spend too much time understanding the IC system and the silos they operate to ‘get it.’
Ratcliffe did what he thought was possible within the confines of the DNI position. Tulsi is changing the definition of the DNI position – expanding the wings of power it holds, and doing what is possible.
This expanded power, now clearly visible, was legislatively authorized in the Patriot Act and subsequent creation of the DNI. Gabbard’s use of it is why the SSCI now wants to change the legislation that created the DNI.
Keep watching, and be very cautious of Senate Select Committee on Intelligence Chairman Tom Cotton.
It’s going to be Tulsi Gabbard vs Tom Cotton! [Patriots vs Sea Island] Remember this as we go forward. SSCI Chairman Cotton is assembling his weapons right now; he has no choice – Cotton accepted the role. Tom Cotton is now the “hand” of the Intelligence Community.
You have to understand how the DC system operates in collaboration with the Intelligence Community apparatus. Almost no one does. The IC (domestic and foreign) cannot allow DNI Gabbard to follow a non traditional format. The SSCI is their weapon, the tool they use to retain all activity within guardrails the IC have constructed.
As you might remember from the outline last year, again cited above, the National Security Advisor plays a key role in coordination with the Director of National Intelligence. The NatSec Advisor is now Marco Rubio.
Does this mean we need to trust Marco Rubio?
I don’t ‘trust’ anyone except God and mom, and even she can be sketchy at times. Instead, I review who people are by the actions they take.
Do I trust a man in his 30s elected to the Senate. No.
Do I trust a man in his 40s who became the fulcrum point for a gang of eight amnesty plan. No.
Do I trust a 50 year old man who rose all the way to the SSCI Chair, then left elected office, freed himself from the world of controlling donors, became Secretary of State at the most consequential time in modern political history, and immediately told the world that, “Ukraine was a proxy war for the USA against Russia”?
Again, no.
However, dismantling USAID, working directly against the interests of the dark world of the Intelligence Community (CIA), and supporting President Trump by stating bold truths that burn all the vessels that could return him to the IC island, point in one direction only.
He knows the proverbial “them.” After leaving elected office, he’s free of them…. AND more importantly, he’s taking action to show it.
That’s beyond historic, and a very good thing to see.
Do I trust Marco Rubio? No….

Getting a grand jury in DC to indict Clapper, Brennan, Comey etc for trying to destroy Trump is a going to be a uphill task. The facts and evidence do not matter, 98% of the prospective jurors are going to be Trump-haters. That’s just for the indictment phase …. once successfully indicted there needs to be a trial, presided over by judge Boasberg and his equally corrupt colleagues on the DC bench.

I’m an Arkansan too, and have known for a while that Cotton is dirty; not who he pretends to be. The same is true for our gov. Our legislature is so crooked, that they could possibly get rid of any “competition” for Cotton. They are awful, but did take a while to see that, and that the gov. is mainly out for herself, and not the people of Arkansas.

For what it is worth, I dumped the report into Grok4, along with Durham’s report. It found:
There is no single document in the DNI’s declassified documents or Durham Report explicitly stating that senior officials (e.g., Brennan, Rice, McCabe, Comey) ordered a fabricated Trump-Russia narrative.

The pattern of actions—centralized control, rushed process, uncorroborated dossier use, ignored exculpatory evidence, and selective narrative—without a legitimate alternative (e.g., new evidence), strongly suggests a concealed intent to craft a Trump-Russia narrative to undermine Trump, aligning with Jarrett’s claims.
Conclusion: The documented actions and absence of legitimate explanations strongly point to a concealed conspiratorial intent by senior officials (e.g., Brennan, Rice, McCabe, Comey) to craft a Trump-Russia narrative.
While I have often expressed the hope that we could eventually reclaim our Republic as designed, I have reached the non pretending decision that this will never be possible. I am not being defeatist in that opinion, rather a realist.
I have never been sanguine about Ratcliff and still harbour doubts about him.
I’d like to believe Rubio has had his Damascene moment, so I was disappointed to see Sundance bluntly profess that he does not trust him. I am reassessing.
As the demonic players in the plotted overthrow of a legitimately elected Trump first term continue to be exposed with the above reminder that really our Republic ceased to exist decades ago, I have decided that perhaps it is best to metaphorically disembowel the entire corrupt and malign DC apparatus and start again, salvaging what can be reclaimed. Because my realist’s view is that the intentionally devised chasm which separates the immoral/amoral from the rest of us is too wide to be repaired.
I have no earthly idea if this can be done. We would need a moral people for this project, and as far as I can see such folk (with a relative few honourable exceptions) are in woefully short supply for such an epochal nationwide rebuilding. Thus am I a proponent of the Catherine Austin Fitts’ School of Building a Moral and Supporting Community at the Local Level.

A start can be made, absolutely. In fact, one could argue that the Divine intervention on July 13 last year could be so described. I have great hope that this will indeed happen. The reason for our nation falling to its knees probably won’t be pretty, but God is so merciful and gracious that He will help us rebuild.
I watched a miraculous video a day or so ago of hundreds of young people coming up to a stage at a Christian conclave to proclaim Jesus Christ as their Saviour in Edmonton, Oklahoma. It moved me, filled my heart with so much hope that the younger generations may be the ones to lead us back to God, bara.
Then this afternoon three of my grands (twin young men aged 20 and their sister, 17) dropped by for lunch. They’ve been so busy with work that I haven’t seen them since the lads returned from university and school was out for my beautiful granddaughter.
I knew she was headed towards a Christian seminar, a rep with 10 others from her church, but as I was looking through the most wonderful photos of her experience, I asked her where this conclave was…
Edmonton, she said…the photos which she was unaware of being taken which I have of her in deep prayer (one of her weeping) I shall treasure for the rest of my life.
And suddenly I realized she was there, in the video I had watched which offered so much joy and encouragement.
I don’t know why I am writing about this personal story here, except to say that I truly believe this country is on a journey back to Almighty God Who was proclaimed as the Cornerstone of our Republic at its founding.
So in knowing His exceeding patience and in watching so many Christ centred events throughout our nation, attended by thousands upon thousands (there were one thousand in Edmonton), I am prayerful in my anticipation of a renewal of this Republic which has fallen so far from Christ.
May the Good Lord in His infinite mercy give us time to repent and be forgiven. I believe He has not given up on us yet 🙏🏻

That said, I think there are a LOT of people who have been inside government for so long that they simply cannot see how dysfunctional and out of touch it is…they simply “go along to get along”! Ratcliffe is definitely one of those people – seems like a nice guy but probably incapable of thinking outside the box, which is why he sailed through the nomination process relatively quickly and with little opposition.
In truth, I suspect that less than 10% of people who work in government (or almost any other field, TBH) actually question anything they are told to do. They are the cogs in the machine and they do the job, get the check, and generally coast through life doing what they have been told to do – and the small group that actually does have evil intent specifically looks for people like that because they do not push back or challenge anyone.
I realize that I am cynical but one of my favorite verses is Mark 10:18, when Jesus is talking to the rich young ruler, who is asking him about how to gain eternal life…He calls Jesus “good teacher” and Jesus responds by saying, “Why do you call me good? No one is good but God.” Most people skip right over that verse and go on to the answer that Jesus gave but I think Jesus was giving him some very wise advice, even before He responded to the question.
Many people can, and do, lead “good” lives, and that should be the standard that we all strive to attain…but recognizing the truth that “NO ONE is good but God alone” has taught me to evaluate things much more thoroughly and honestly, even if it has lead me to some heartbreak along the way!
Reformed Democrats are the best. All that pent up hate is released in the right direction. Go Tulsi.

I have always warmed to TG even when she was running as a Democrat for President. The idea of service to her country is very important to her.
I was rummaging around her Wikipedia entry and came across this very personal chat she had with a friend about how TG and husband had had an infertility problem – For me, it ’rounded off’ her life experience.
Those all fired up about Bondi doing something need to take a dose of reality. This case will take a sizable number of lawyers a long time to construct a presentable case.
Bondi is the head of a department with over 100,000 employees and hundreds of cases working all at once. She will assign this case to other lawyers or President Trump will appoint a special prosecutor to handle the case. That will be the extent of Pam Bondi’s involvement.
Well, she will probably be on Fox News to take flack because the case has not already sent people to jail.
I see this a bit differently. Tulsi has done her work to uncover this treachery. It has now been handed off to the DOJ. The ball is now in their court. I don’t see where there is anything further for Tulsi to do with this, so any attacks on her from this point on will be seen as useless, but the blowback on the attackers will be severe, and from President Trump himself. These people will soon find out what FAFO means.
They fear she will uncover more truth that the Uniparty wants hidden.
This very topic brought me to CTH years ago. I knew Sundance was telling the truth instinctively. I’ve prayed, lost friends, lost sleep and occasionally lost hope. But I always reminded myself that our Lord works on his own timeline. I am cautiously optimistic and will continue praying. I’m even tempted to contact some of those lost friends and say told ya so, but I won’t.
Time to fry the bigger fish and Tulsi will try.

I took note of the fact that Tulsi specifically stated in an interview that the use of false or fabricated intelligence is like what was done with the Weapons of Mass Destruction narrative designed to push us into war with the Iraq. IMo, if Tommy Cotton was all that he claimed when he first ran for national office then he’d resign whatever committees he’s on and devote himself to helping MizTulsi get’er done. In fact, why aren’t more “elected officials” already paying their highest compliment and offering their best help to Tulsi Gabbard? If DJT lets this one get buried and forgotten, then we are in for sho’nuff hard time. Treason going unpunished at the level Ms Gabbard has detailed would mean that the rule of law no longer rules.
Must be a pretty interesting dynamic between Tulsi and Radcliffe. Can see how Rubio and Tulsi could be a dangerous force against the deep state. Rubio , who knows the snakes as an insider and Tulsi who’s the ultimate outsider could be a dangerous force against those who’ve held power way too long. The wild card is still Barbie Biondi. If she doesn’t immediately appoint a Special Prosecutor she should be scorned out of government.
As the Coffee and COVID site (excellent) has said, Tulsi would never have written the tweet, using her official account, if she had not cleared it with the DOJ. This is an administration run like an efficient company, unlike last time, both DNI and AG are working together to achieve carefully planned outcomes, but with exigent capabilities.
As for the inevitable counter to Tulsi’s move, again the responses will depend on the counter the DS chooses, but what’s critical to understand is that all the major players in Trump Team know the plan of action and have possibly gamed out their response options, coordinating the best possible moves.
As for the DS and the IC, I think they are suffering because of decades of ideological hiring and lack of any real opposition, making them still dangerous; however, flabby, slow, relying on a well-worn playbook of crude coercion, sloppy smears and leaks and the court stenographers writing flattering articles about their awesome capabilities, to intimidate their opponents. Trouble is, Trump brings his A Team and A game to a fight and I doubt they can do more than B- on both counts.

I remember the discussions post 911 about how that horrible intelligence failure could have occurred. It appeared that the main reason was the “silofication” of the various intelligence and law enforcement agencies. Obviously the fault lay at more than one person, but Gorelick and the Clintons were names that were mentioned a lot.
The new IC apparatus which included the office of DNI was as far as I understood intended to open up the separate information tubes, and make certain that important intelligence was not overlooked. Therefore, I was more than surprised when our host told us about his visits to DC, and how the various IC organizations still functioned in isolation.
This essay (almost a year since it was first published) gives a very plausible explanation.
I should have known. The administratiors (in conjunction with the Obama presidency) did not like the new system. Thus, small but still important institutional changes were made, and the various IC agencies retained their powers.
As I wrote, I should have known. The history of Sweden gives a very good example.
In the late 17th century, at the peak of the Swedish Baltic empire, the king, Charles XI, decided that the seat of the government should be moved from Stockholm (the capital at the time and also the present capital!) to a new city on the south-eastern coast of Sweden namned Karlskrona (eng: The Crown of Charles). There were a number of political and practical reasons for this deciscion: Charles wanted to maintain a closer control of the relatively recently conquered lands of south, south-west, and south-east of Sweden. Also, in the midst of the little ice-age the new port of Karlskrona would be Sweden’s only Baltic harbour that would be ice-free throughout the winter.
Remember, Sweden was an autocracy, and the king ruled by the Grace of God. However, the nobility who made up the king’s advisory board (“the government”) and manned the government authorities (the administration) were not keen on this idea. They did not want to leave their ancestral homes in and around Stockholm. Karlskrona was built. Ever since the end of the 17th century it has been the seat of a naval port, but it is still a very small town. However, the central square of Karlskrona looks like the main piazza of some large Italian city (think Milan or Florence), but it never became Sweden’s capital and the various bureaucracies (including the Admiralty!) never moved from Stockholm.
The conservatism of governmental bureaucracies is very powerful. Remember that and, please, pray for PDJT and Tulsi Gabbard. It is a very hard task they have embarked on.

I have patriotic relatives in AR who say that Governor Sanders is a sure bet to run against Cotton. I have no knowledge of such, and I invite AR and other informed patriots here to opine.

In 2016 election Tulsi was a contender. She was the only viable candidate the dems had. She could have given Trump a good run, she was electable.

Gabbard didn’t run for president in 2016. She was the Associate Chair of the DNC and endorsed Sanders.
She was publicly critical of the DNC’s handling of the primaries – particularly the debate schedule – because it was obviously slanted to select Clinton. Chairwomen Debbie Wasserman Schultz forced Gabbard out of the DNC hierarchy because of her complaints.
Gabbard would run in 2020. She and Andrew Yang were the “outsiders”. That was also the year Howard Schultz (former CEO of Starbucks) contemplated running. Schultz is basically a more liberal version of Donald Trump. DNC was quick to kick him to the curb. Must not upset the swamp ecosystem with outsiders.
