An interesting thought … related to the FBI Raid on Mar-A-Lago by Comey’s storm troopers and materials they tried to recover.
President Trump likely “declassified” and hid far more declassified stuff than anybody will ever know. The declassified stuff was likely either direct data or a “roadmap” of where the bodies were buried.
Many have gone back and forth on General Flynn and Admiral Rogers … plus and minus … and musing why they are not in the Trump Administration.
Fast forward to today … I can’t think of 2 Ex-INTEL SOLDIERS who would know; more about where bodies are buried, who likely still have more than few allies inside the INTEL Community and who would know where to hide stuff … who support President Trump and who both seem to like Tulsi Gabbard.

The people who signed off on this and were part of the unit that went to “execute” the raid should be in prison without bail now. My brother and SIL who are flaming liberals might have a chance to be liberated which would be great. I spent a year there and every time I visited them, either PBS or NPR was on their tv. There was recently a theft of MILLIONs of dollars in precious metals from a mining company and have been numerous reports of thefts in the oil and gas fields of west Texas by organized gangs (cartels most likely). Didn’t realize just how bad it’s gotten until seeing this snapshot of data:

In the second quarter of 2025, CargoNet recorded 884 supply chain theft incidents across the United States and Canada—a 13% increase over the same period in 2024 and a 10% rise from the first quarter of this year. The estimated total loss exceeded $128 million, based on average loss values applied to incidents without specific reports.
The data also shows a month-over-month acceleration in theft activity during the quarter: incidents rose 14.6% in April, 4.4% in May, and a staggering 21.9% in June, highlighting growing urgency around supply chain security.

There was a huge theft of gold bearing material in Mexico this past month, it was being shipped from a mine in Mexico to the refinery, in Mexico, and a cartel gang hijacked that shipment.
Over in the African continent, there’s been a dispute between a major mining company and the new, due to a coup, government in the nation where that mine is and that new govt just this week invaded that operation and flew out by helicopters a huge cache of gold bars from that mine.
These are not new events, mining companies all over the world, not just 3rd world countries, are always at risk and is why insurance in the industry is very high. Geologists and mining engineers are often kidnapped in South and Central American countries and held for ransom when they were simply out there looking for new mineral discoveries.

The same holds true for people in other ways – nobody is ever 100% correct, nor infallible and all of us that are human have warts – even presidents – yet the same type of phenomena occurs sometimes where one can never be wrong – or never be right – in some people’s eyes. The ancillary effect is that some folks thing that one has to either be in 100% agreement and support ANYTHING – or they must be traitors and outcasts. There has been a lot of that lately…
The very prescient statemen( paraphrased) “Don’t let the perfect ruin the good.” comes to mind. We all are vulnerable, make mistakes, turn off the path at times and are never 100% right or wrong every time. None of us.
Our intent to do good or evil is where the choices come in and the deliberate actions to harm. ‘Judge not lest ye be judged’ is also a good phrase to think about when deciding to throw a person away because they said something we don’t like or want to hear or don’t agree with. Just maybe they are right and we are wrong in such cases.
Warrants some thought and understanding imo before tossing the person over board from our lives. Truth will reveal the person’s true nature eventually and it may not be what one thinks it will be.
On the other hand if Ticker or anyone else is dead to you. Do you really need to post it? What am I supposed to do with the statement? Should I agree? Disagree? What if Tucker is not dead to me?

Since the decision was made to stop making the penny, the side effect of this is that banks are limiting the amount of rolled pennies given to businesses on a weekly basis.
I work for our small town grocery and our bank is only giving us $8 in pennies per week now. That is what we will need for roughly two days during our peak busy time which is now. It’s tourist time here.
There are millions of dollars in pennies out there, but mostly in cans, buckets or bottles in someone’s closet lol. I have many customers tell me they have pennies galore.
I can foresee that businesses will soon be pricing all their goods to the nearest dime or dollar soon. They won’t have any other choice.

No matter what the size of a purchase…a single can of Coke or a week’s worth of groceries….the absolute WORST impact a purchaser paying with cas at i a store has no pennies is 4 cents.

They most definitely have a choice and no amount of adjustment of individual prices will help as long as their is sales tax.
The solution to the problem for businesses in such cases would be to adjust the TOTAL cost, including tax, to the nearest value that saves pennies.
The rough order way would be to round to the nearest 5 cents (both up or down). The better way would be to round it to the nearest total that limits the pennies being given in change to 1.
The best way would be for the store to round DOWN to the nearest nickel, effectively given their customers a couple cent discount as a way to show appreciation for their business (which would also increase their business if other similar stores didn’t do the same). Another smart solution would be to give future discounts based upon customers supplying pennies in payment – this would be easily accomplished by any who have rewards points, customer discount cards, etc..
Note – to do anything less than give cash paying customers the discount of rounding the price DOWN is effectively penalizing them for paying cash – as those paying by credit card are not being penalized regardless of how many pennies are involved.

I don’t know about all that, but you’re welcome. One additional aspect of the last paragraph – credit card companies take a percentage of the money. There are a number of transaction types that give discounts equivalent to said credit card fees. In a general sense (legalities aside) stores which take credit cards should always give cash customers a discount as a result. This only further cements that stores should always round DOWN for cash transactions.
Since Singapore got rid of their one cent coin, they round down to the closest 5 cent when cash is used to pay for goods there.
Just because pennies will no longer be minted doest mean they wont be in circulation for another 10+ years. Please focus on the real issues such as the loss of our Constitutional Republic, rather focusing on 2-decimal rounding issues.

Radcliff was Director of the CIA. His problem was the DNI, who happened to be the former CIA head at the London office, whom we believe was potentially part of the apparatus of the coup.
Sorry, but I will not diminish the importance of the courage that Tulsi displayed by declassifying and releasing the data. She deserves our gratitude.

May be of interest to some, completely unrelated to economics. David is a contrarian financial macro-economist…but honest. The video is queued to a question and his answer regarding an assessment of PDJT’s first 6 months and continues into what may happen and that what PDJT is doing is the best course overall.
It almost looks like a really bad sketch comedy.
While I’m for ICE and police in general, there were a couple of things in that video that are issues – one of which was the repeated head blows. The other was the weapon handling and decision making of the first officer.
That head-banging officer is on desk duty & being investigated – I posted the article that includes this video and much more information on this incident in KY down below.
The guy made moves that caused several LEOs to pile on, and the one will likely have consequences for improper action.
I saw the follow-on article this morning Amara, including the body cam video (which only reinforced my initial view). Thank you ma’am for sharing the additional info and letting me know of it in case I missed it.

There is a big problem within law enforcement: PTSD /Complex PTSD among officers… and I don’t hear of it being addressed. Burn-out and jack-ass-fatigue (is it the same thing?) are also problematic.
Honest LEOs who are employed in a dept. run by ‘shady overseers’ have that, other, & particular stresses.
You get the picture. Because the inferior medical/”mental health” system that dominates US has zero remedies OR cures (only psych drugs with inherent disrupting/deadly effects) for trauma/complex trauma…
more than a few are literally walking wounded.
Somehow, admitting this problem category is unacceptable, and oustide-the-box methods of effective remediation are even more ignored still.
I was married to one a long time ago… Loose. Cannon.
That’s a cautionary tale for another day.
