That leaves a rare sore spot in Ukraine, from which President Trump has been unable or unwilling to extricate us. Only he really knows why. So, a first semester grade if A-. And if it takes the firing of Blondie to stop the bleeding of political capital on Epstein, so be it.

I clearly remember him meeting with Haspel and Barr during all of the uproar.
McConnell, Ryan, Burr, and Nunes were the Republicans on the Congressional Gang of 8 receiving intel briefings. Nunes was the only one to call bs and he was quickly hit with an ethics violation charge.
Rubio was on the SSCI and would move up when Burr retired.
I think Nunes, Trey Gowdy, and John Ratcliffe are the three House Republicans that have seen all the documents unredacted.
With Rubio and Ratcliffe now in President Trump’s cabinet, any further investigation could get intense in a hurry.

Same here, Texas M….started picking strawberries at age 6 as soon as school was out followed by string beans until school started to buy my own schools clothes….went to college on academic scholarships…first in large extended family to go to college so had no mentors to advise me how to go about it….unlike Obama who had a pretty cushiony childhood and education. I struggle with deporting illegals who have been here for a long. Who have made a life here. To deport them to a country where they own/have nothing. I think that should be considered when deporting people. There could be a way for them to pay restitution if necessary. Yes to deporting everyone who crossed during Bidens open borders. 20 million Yes to deporting any illegal that has committed criminal acts no matter how long they have been here. I also wish to be treated with forgiveness and compassion…..Hopefully common sense will apply to this as well.

I understand your empathy, agree with parts and disagree with other parts of your various arguments.
In regards to compassion – I have compassion for many who have committed crimes – both major and minor, for their souls and their own mental states – but nonetheless understand and am for them being required to face consequences for their actions. Without justice and consequences we have anarchy and a distinct lack of incentive to not commit crimes. What those consequences are is the question.
Government turning a blind eye as it were is most definitely NOT a valid reason for anything. Actions are personal choices and their consequences lay solely with those making them short of extreme coercion – which is not in play in this discussion.
In regards to deporting someone to a place where they “own/have nothing” – the vast majority have FAMILY in their home nation – and they came to the United States “owning/having nothing.” So obviously moving under such conditions didn’t keep them from coming here in the first place and thus shouldn’t be a consideration in their removal either. Further, they do have something – their ill gotten gains they have wired back home, as well as those they have enjoyed while here.
Restitution would most definitely have to be on the table for any considered for some path to either stay or come back. In regards to time frames of consideration – more like a cutoff beginning with the Dopey era (2008).
Regardless of time here – what they did while here should also play a significant part of any decision. Did they pay taxes via an ITN? Did they take advantage of taxpayer funding via government programs? Do they consider themselves Americans – or are they of the view that this nation owes them something and their allegiance and ideas remain firmly or mostly rooted in their true homeland?
Of course, without doubt anyone exempt would have to go through the same steps as those who have come here legally – plus some others, such as restitution and a demonstrated understanding of and embracing of the founding ideals of this nation. Socialists, marxists, freeloaders, those against our Constitution and founding ideals, etc. need not apply.

I can proudly state that I never once watched Colbert’s show. From the articles about this, it sounds like he didn’t want me watching his show anyways. But I also don’t watch Kimmel or Stewart. These shows are awful regardless of their political slant.
The last of those late-night shows that I saw even infrequently was Leno. These shows just got increasingly boring because most of the guests were people showing up only because they had some new movie or show or something to plug, not because they were interesting themselves. All arranged by their agents. Carson had a lot of guests who came on because they were interesting and had interesting lives and stories to tell, even if they hadn’t really done much in a long time. Old Carson reruns are still on TV and I sometimes still tune into those. But not any of the newer junk.
These late night shows were already killing themselves even without veering into extreme political bias. All that has done is get them into the final stages of their self-destruction. Good riddance.
With the Bombshells dropping, me thinks unannounced raids on at least 4 personal residences are in order. With orders to use leathal force if necessary, hint hint turn off the inside security cameras as well. What’s good for the goose is also good for the gander.

Obama’s Russian ruse :
“A declassified copy of a December 8, 2016 presidential daily brief was recently released by Tulsi Gabbard, Trump’s director of National Intelligence. The brief, prepared for Obama by the Department of Homeland Security, with reporting from the CIA, Defense Intelligence Agency, FBI, National Security Agency, DHS, State Department, and open sources, stated,
We assess that Russian and criminal actors did not impact recent US election results by conducting malicious cyber activities against election infrastructure. Russian Government-affiliated actors most likely compromised an Illinois voter registration database and unsuccessfully attempted the same in other states.
It was Obama’s people who found that although cyber-criminals “tried to steal data and to interrupt election processes by targeting election infrastructure … these actions did not achieve a notable disruptive effect.” At the time, it was also found that “criminal activity also failed to reach the scale and sophistication necessary to change election outcomes … [and] probably were intended to cause psychological effects, such as undermining the credibility of the election process and candidates.”
Now it is revealed that because the truth didn’t fit into Obama’s plan to blame Russia, console Hillary, disqualify Trump, and remediate his legacy, the FBI opposed the original presidential daily brief, saying that the findings “should not go forward” until it was able to share its “concerns.” Obama couldn’t blame Russia for colluding on Trump’s behalf. And so, “based on some new guidance” likely coming directly from the Guider-in-Chief, a decision was made not to publish the conclusions.
The day after finding out that the Russians did not impact the election, a “Summary of Conclusions for PS Meeting on a Sensitive Topic” meeting was called in the White House Situation Room. Those in attendance included then–CIA director John Brennan, then–national security adviser Susan Rice, then–secretary of State John Kerry, then–attorney general Loretta Lynch, and then–deputy FBI director Andrew McCabe, among other co-conspirators. The topic to discuss: Russia.
A more fitting title for the coven should have read, “There Is no Credible Evidence to Conclude Russia’s Influence in Last Month’s Election — So Let’s Get Together and Conjure Up Some False Accusations.”
According to the current Office of the Director of National Intelligence, after that meeting, Clapper’s executive assistant sent an email to Trump-hating Intelligence Community leaders instructing them to generate a new assessment, “per the president’s request.” The new communiqué detailed the “tools Moscow used and actions it took to influence the 2016 election.” According to the declassified records, the plan was for the “ODNI to lead this effort with participation from the CIA, FBI, NSA, and DHS.”
In other words, although it was found that it was “highly unlikely” that the effort by the Russians would have changed the official vote result in the 2016 election, Obama requested that his Cabinet find a “new” assessment involving actions taken on the part of Russia to elect Trump. Under Obama’s direction, a Russian ruse was fabricated based on nonexistent Russian interference.
Then, in 2017, when Trump was set to take office, a new I.C. assessment was released that, according to the current Office of the Director of National Intelligence, “directly contradicted the IC assessments that were made throughout the previous six months.” True to his Alinsky roots, Obama disregarded the findings and approved the release of “false statements to media outlets” claiming that “Russia [had] attempted through cyber means to interfere in, if not actively influence, the outcome of an election.”
President Obama and his villains fabricated a probe into election collusion that they all knew didn’t exist but was fostered to undermine the credibility and validity of a presidency and to make the U.S. electorate question their ability to trust the man they elected. Thus, the obvious question here isn’t really whether Putin is or was capable of undermining an American election. The question is “Why did Obama refuse to embrace the truth?” Then again, let’s remember, Obama is a guy with a birth certificate signed by “Dr. Ukelele” and in possession of college transcripts that are permanently sealed.
Under Obama’s direction, his administration claimed there was no assessment on the “impact” of Russian meddling in the U.S. election, when in fact the Intelligence Community did “assess for impact.” From the get-go, Barack just didn’t like the result. In his mind, much like the U.S. Constitution, the report was “fatally flawed.” Because Obama didn’t like what it said, he set about to ensure that “fundamental change” would impact the results of the investigation. Obama’s newer, more acceptable evaluation “was based on information that was known by those involved to be manufactured, i.e., the Steele Dossier, or deemed as not credible.”
Barack Obama has proven time and again that deception is one of his fortes, and the Russia hoax is no exception to that rule. According to Tulsi Gabbard, false accusations were purposely “used” to “smear” and “delegitimize” Trump’s victory, feed the Mueller investigation, fuel two congressional impeachments, and send top Trump officials to jail, a punishment Obama likely felt was well deserved for the sin of supporting Trump.
In hopes of overthrowing an election, deceitfully blaming a foreign government for interference seems treasonous at best. Tulsi Gabbard calls it a “treasonous conspiracy.” Yet isn’t it ironic that the person perpetually lamenting the state of American democracy is the one who attempted to circumvent the will of free people by trying to undermine a democratic election with lies and fabricated allegations? The question now is how many other traitorous offenses Barack Obama has committed.”

In Illinois, Meta recently signed a long-term agreement to buy nuclear power from Constellation’s Clinton nuclear plant, the latest in a slew of deals between big tech and the nuclear industry. Constellation also said it would restart Three Mile Island Unit One in Pennsylvania and sell the power to Microsoft under a 20-year agreement.
Google, too, has agreed to fund the development of small modular reactors, or SMRs, at three new nuclear sites in Oregon. TVA plans to build SMRs at its Clinch River site and Kairos Power has a blueprint for an advanced molten salt reactor. Moreover, Amazon, Google and Meta signed a pledge in March calling for nuclear energy worldwide to triple by 2050.
Elevating nuclear power on our list of energy options makes sense because it is the only way to generate large amounts of emission-free electricity reliably for AI-powered data centers, electric vehicles and industries. But surging demand for electricity and nuclear power underscores a serious issue: Who will provide the huge amounts of uranium needed to fuel nuclear plants?
Currently, 95 percent of the uranium used at US nuclear plants is imported from other countries, with Russia and former Soviet States flooding the global market and driving free-market companies out of business. China is also rapidly expanding its influence in the global uranium supply chain. But our dependence on uranium imports is not for lack of domestic resources.

The thought that crossed my mind when reading this was how convenient it might be to have the west’s supply of defensive systems depleted…as well as how profitable for certain groups in the long term via the replacement pipeline.
The other thought is that it shows those in power aren’t serious and/or are completely ignorant in regards to the type of warfare taking place. Patriot systems are near worthless in defense against large scale drone attacks – which is the predominate weapon of choice in the Ukrainian theater for mid-range attacks and 100% worthless for the front line saturation shelling.
NATO’s top military commander, US Air Force Gen. Alexus Grynkewich, announced Thursday that efforts are underway to expedite the delivery of additional Patriot air defense systems to Ukraine, amid nightly waves of drone and missile attacks which are regularly in the hundreds.
“We’re working closely with the Germans on transferring the Patriots,” Grynkewich said during a major defense conference in Wiesbaden, Germany happening this week. “The directive I’ve received is to act as swiftly as possible.”
Grynkewich emphasized that timing and logistics are key concerns in getting the systems delivered to Ukraine. “As Secretary of State Marco Rubio pointed out, existing systems in Europe can be deployed faster than those coming off production lines,” he explained. “Those new units can then replace the ones sent to Ukraine.”
