Julie Kelly writes, “Sources confirm to me the blow up between Dan Bongino and Pam Bondi is very real. This has been brewing for four months and came to a head at the White House on Wednesday. He has not been in the office since. Most of the frustration at FBI relates to her handling of Epstein disclosures and disputes between FBI and Bondi about how to proceed. Bongino appears ready to resign imminently if Bondi remains in office.”
Axios, CNN and various other outlets have essentially confirmed the same story.
Mary Margaret Olohan from the Daily Wire writes, “Bongino in particular, one source said, is frustrated that the DOJ, at the start of this week, declared the Epstein case effectively closed and determined that the accused sex trafficker died by suicide while awaiting trial, with few further details shared. He wants more documents unsealed, the source added.” Olohan also said, “Source close to Dan Bongino tells me it’s either him or Pam Bondi, and that he won’t stay at FBI if she stays at DOJ.
If this is all true is doesn’t bode well for Dan Bongino and he will likely be asked to depart from his position, if he has not already resigned. This type of emotional response is considered a significant sign of instability amid executive level office holders. The either/or threat never works at this level.

He is certainly a tough leader and not a coward, but it would be similar to having George Washington First as president, and then as a military commander. That usually doesn’t work well, nor does history show it works well. In stage 5, war, THE PEOPLE determine their own military leaders and fight to restore sovereignty. What we are seeing right now is the old guard and politicos fighting to establish or to protect power. That all goes away in stage 5. What is important to understand is that stage 5 is determined by the actionable force of the people to do what the central state has failed to do.

This is part of the binder fiasco that sent this effort to disclose into dark comedic chaos.

The problem for DOJ and FBI is that Bongino can do a lot of damage if he leaves FBI and returns to his podcast.
The Blondi / Patel handling of this screams “massive cover up”. Bongino’s position appears to be less about a possible cover up, and much more about two stupid people walking around a yard full of upturned rakes and hitting every one of them. Twice.
It very much sounds like there’s data to back up what they’re saying, but they refuse to show it. But that only amplifies the cover up narrative.
Add to this the very apparent, very visible ABSENCE OF FIRINGS at DOJ and FBI. Nobody at any level of media is getting leaks of bad stories about Blondi or Cash.
They are not viewed as a threat by the DS. The level of stupid here is an example of why.
Blonde wants people to believe that there’s nothing to see with Epstein. No one is buying that and Trump has to know why. His staffing decisions mostly suck, but his instincts on connecting with regular people are top-shelf. He knows no one buys Blonde’s nonsense.
There could be very pragmatic reasons for sweeping all of this under the rug. If they actually released all of this without hold-backs, it could take out a ton of “friendlies”. The GOP and right-leaning power-brokers were up to their wieners in this Epstein stuff. It wasn’t just Bill Clinton chasing young girls. It’s WAY worse than that in my view.
The pragmatic reason is that scene at the end of The Untouchables when the judge switches the jury. His name wasn’t in the ledger, but all Ness had to do was tell him it was. Career. Over. Possible arrest and jail time.
The pragmatic reason to cover it up is all the otherwise basically innocent people who might get falsely accused of monstrous things. Maybe they even get killed….despite having don’t nothing wrong.
It is insulting to know they are doing a cover-up, not what I had hoped for, but there it is. BBB being passed and Bibi being in town just makes it all the more over the top.

Couldn’t understand why Bonjino could take this. He’s said too much in his podcast to actually believe they aren’t lying to the public.
The more likely reason? He really is convinced there’s no evidence, knows that’s going to create a firestorm, and tried to get Blondi to not do something stupid like release a statement backed up by ZERO evidence to support her claims.
He most likely said to himself, and to Blondi, “They’re never going to buy this. If I was still doing my show, I’d be calling b.s. louder than you can imagine. You need to be transparent and show people what we’ve seen.”
It’s entirely possible that everything incriminating was either destroyed or us in the possession of Mossad….and that they’re being truthful as far as what they have and what they can prove. But the various promises and lies by Blondi set them all up to look like lying frauds.

Exactly and Congress. Congress has to much power and authority over executive constitutionally granted powers: why are Senators meeting with Ukrainians? Why are Senators involved in foreign affairs? Not their Constitutional role. And that’s a big problem: Congress acting in Executive roles.
Can’t say that I blame him. Hire on to MAGA and it’s just the same ole song and dance. Why would he want to be part of this?
I’ve never liked Bongino, but he’s just going to ruin his reputation if nothing is done about the apparent lie they’re peddling about Epstein.
I’m starting to think the real lie was all the stuff Blondi claimed last Spring. Overpromise. Underdeliver is starting to just look like Blondi just straight up lied.
I want to apologize to everyone. I’m sorry the base has chosen to be pissed off by this instance of a lack of accountability for the last ten or more years. /s Trump campaigned on this and accountability; people expect a result. At this point Bondi is no better than Jeff Sessions.

Doesn’t matter about the Epstein issue. Perception is reality in the marketplace. And the perception (even if it’s only 5% of the MAGA base) could lose the House in 2026. That’s just my opinion, I could be wrong (hat tip to Dennis Miller).
He can’t. The Senate will insist on an AG loyal to them, and we’ll get an AG who clears the decks for more investigations of Trump.

More than likely, Bongino refuses to be a part of yet another BS cover up and won’t lie to the public, in order to stroke someone else’s ego, or protect someone else from wrong-doing. While Dan may have a short fuse, this has nothing to do with instability, or temper. This is about honor, reputation and doing the right thing for the people.
Unfortunately, there is very little room in DC for anyone who allows honor and reputation to be their guiding principles.
I think the whole Epstein thing boils down to a very simple issue. Trump is trying to negotiate peace in the Middle East. We all know Epstein ran a honeypot/blackmail operation for the Mossad. I’m sure Bibi doesn’t want this coming to light and who all got caught and who they were blackmailing, etc. So we won’t see ANYTHING come from this until we get a peace treaty. And we may never see any release of documents about Epstein. So it won’t matter WHO is the acting AG, or head of the FBI, etc. That’s just my dumb .2 cents opinion.
