Many people surmise the Trump administration is unaware of the ongoing MAGA backlash to the DOJ and FBI position on matter of Jeffrey Epstein.
For a significant -albeit unknown- portion of President Trump’s support base, the case against Jeffrey Epstein was/is a strong part of how they positioned their MAGA support. That coalition is now furious and threatening to withdraw support for President Trump on all other policy areas.
Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche affirmed today the conclusions within the DOJ/FBI memo about the Epstein matter are factually the conclusions shared by all leadership within the Dept of Justice and FBI.

Attorney General Pam Bondi, Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, FBI Director Kash Patel and Deputy FBI Director Dan Bongino are all telling the same story.
There is trouble afoot.
~ Amid the tales of Rome, the colosseum held a very fickle crowd.
Brutus and Cassius enter the Forum with a crowd of plebeians. Cassius exits to speak to another portion of the crowd. Brutus addresses the crowd from the stage, assuring them that they may trust in his honor. He did not kill Caesar out of a lack of love for him, he says, but because his love for Rome outweighed his love of a single man. He insists that Caesar was great but ambitious: it was for this reason that he slew him. He feared that the Romans would live as slaves under Caesar’s leadership.
He asks if any disagree with him, and none do. He thus concludes that he has offended no one and asserts that now Caesar’s death has been accounted for, with both his virtues and faults in life given due attention. Antony then enters with Caesar’s body. Brutus explains to the crowd that Antony had no part in the conspiracy but that he will now be part of the new commonwealth. The plebeians cheer Brutus’s apparent kindness, declaring that Brutus should be Caesar. He quiets them and asks them to listen to Antony, who has obtained permission to give a funeral oration. Brutus exits.
Antony ascends to the pulpit while the plebeians discuss what they have heard. They now believe that Caesar was a tyrant, and that Brutus did right to kill him. But they wait to hear Antony.
He asks the audience to listen, for he has come to bury Caesar, not to praise him. He acknowledges Brutus’s charge that Caesar was ambitious and maintains that Brutus is “an honorable man,” but he says that Caesar was his friend (III.ii.84).
He adds that Caesar brought to Rome many captives, whose countrymen had to pay their ransoms, thus filling Rome’s coffers. He asks rhetorically if such accumulation of money for the people constituted ambition.
Antony continues that Caesar sympathized with the poor: “When that the poor have cried, Caesar hath wept” (III.ii.88). He reminds the plebeians of the day when he offered the crown to Caesar three times, and Caesar three times refused. Again, he ponders aloud whether this humility constituted ambition. He claims that he is not trying to disprove Brutus’s words but rather to tell them what he, Antony, knows; he insists that as they all loved Caesar once, they should mourn for him now.
Antony pauses to weep. The plebeians are touched; they remember when Caesar refused the crown and wonder if more ambitious people have not stepped into his place. Antony speaks again, saying that he would gladly stir them to mutiny and rebellion, though he will not harm Brutus or Cassius, for they are—again—honorable men.
Anthony then brings out Caesar’s will. The plebeians beg him to read it. Antony says that he should not, for then they would be touched by Caesar’s love for them. They implore him to read it. He replies that he has been speaking too long—he wrongs the honorable men who have let him address the crowd. The plebeians call the conspirators traitors and demand that Antony read the will.
Finally, Antony descends from the pulpit and prepares to read the letter to the people as they stand in a circle around Caesar’s corpse. Looking at the body, Antony points out the wounds that Brutus and Cassius inflicted, reminding the crowd how Caesar loved Brutus, and yet Brutus stabbed him viciously.
He tells how Caesar died, and blood ran down the steps of the Senate. Then he uncovers the body for all to see.
The plebeians weep and become enraged. Antony says that they should not be stirred to mutiny against such “honourable men” (III.ii.148). He protests that he does not intend to steal away their hearts, for he is no orator like Brutus. He proclaims himself a plain man; he speaks only what he knows, he says—he will let Caesar’s wounds speak the rest. If he were Brutus, he claims, he could urge them to rebel, but he is merely Antony.
The people declare that they will mutiny nonetheless. Antony calls to them to let him finish: he has not yet read the will. He now reads that Caesar has bequeathed a sum of money from his personal holdings to every man in Rome. The citizens are struck by this act of generosity and swear to avenge this selfless man’s death. Antony continues reading, revealing Caesar’s plans to make his private parks and gardens available for the people’s pleasure.
The plebeians can take no more; they charge off to wreak havoc throughout the city. Antony, alone, wonders what will come of the mischief he has set loose on Rome.
Octavius’s servant enters. He reports that Octavius has arrived at Caesar’s house, and also that Brutus and Cassius have been driven from Rome.

Bongino has a voice. Getting fired for using it isn’t an impediment to a return to his former station. Resignation is to leave all unsaid when the whole point is for the nation to hear it. He’s the deputy director of FBI, for crying out loud. So, if he says BOO, then people ought to take him seriously…otherwise, the director level of FBI has no more built-in credibility than your man on the street in matters of national law enforcement importance. In fact, go to CNN anchors instead, if the FBI director’s office is of no valued opinion.
If he believes the AG is out of line, then publicly state it. Heaven knows, the nation would ONLY know if someone in authority opined officially and publicly. If that official took his opinion into retirement, then no one hears impeaching words. If he is accurate, let the national argument ensue. If he loses, he gets fired. If his opinion wrecks the AG’s tenure, then there you go.
Strong and effective leaders deserve to be tested now and again. Weathering the trials and accusations makes the public have stronger faith.

Resignation is good men doing nothing. Government leadership positions require good men to stand and face adversity in the interest of the nation. Resignation and allowance of bad practices to persist is inaction. The nation doesn’t benefit when good leaders leave under protest only to allow yes-men to elevate.

It’s not a conditional as you posit. Epstein murder/suicide happened in 2019. Nothing was done the entire time. IOt’s a reality – and has been throughout most of American history.

The FBI is directly under the DOJ. This would be like some Colonel and some Major in the Army threatening a President about a General they don’t like, by saying if you don’t fire him (or her), we fill quit.

There are reports that Bongino and/or Patel are considering resigning over this debacle. If true, it is too late for either of them to take a principled stand on the Epstein issue after they both knowingly partook in the promotion of a big lie on the American public. Take, for example, the assertion by Bongino that the surveillance video proved that Epstein committed suicide.
Bongino asserted that the video surveilled the only door in or out of the cell block where Epstein was housed, and since the video did not capture anyone going in or out of the cell block, the video is proof positive that Epstein killed himself.
There are two big holes in this theory, the first obvious one being that Epstein was not alone in that cell block. There were about a dozen other inmates in that cell block. When an inmate is killed in prison, they are killed by other inmates. Does it happen any other way? Tucker Carlson tried to get the names of the other inmates who were housed in that block, but his request was denied.
Secondly, there is the video itself. Curiously, it does not capture the moments when Epstein was found lifeless. If this was the only entrance to the cell block, how come we do not see prison guards enter the block, and then the frenzied activity after Epstein was found lifeless? How come we don’t see Epstein’s body being removed from that cell block?
According to official records, Epstein was found lifeless at 6:30 AM and was pronounced dead at 6:39 AM. If you watch the video, you see no activity around that door at those times. The video ends at 6:39 AM. The video is proof of nothing!

Staying home on Election Day because you didn’t get everything you wanted is never a “real option”. Voting is our duty and should never be used as a weapon. Epstein’s case will be released only after all the corruption of Obama/ Biden’s DOJ has been cleared up. We owe Obama so much.

And right On Que, the lefties are now starting to pile on regarding the failed release of the complete Epstein files. [see AOC’s recent X post re: PDJT & Epstein files. Expect more of the same.] They see this as a potential opportunity to derail PDJT’s agenda and take back the political narrative. Even though they know liberals would also be implicated, they don’t fear this as they already know the info won’t be released due to the reasons stated above and possibly that most of the liberals that would be implicated are already dated & bare no significant political consequence to them currently e.g. Clinton(s).
This reconfirms to me that release of this info will come at a more strategic & opportune time, unless PDJT is forced to release earlier than desired e.g. the Bongino v. Bondi v. Patel dustup.
PDJT & company should continue to do everything in their power to deter the release of this now, but reassure MAGA that it will be released after it has gone through a thorough review process to ensure that all the information being released was not manipulated or altered to protect the guilty. Clear stall tactic but it buys the administration time & gives MAGA nation comfort knowing that this isn’t over, it’s just delayed.
There is another option but it’s the nuclear option, but you can’t know how extensive the fallout can be, but if you’re going to do it, it needs to be done more immediately. That is…
Release all the information NOW and let all the chips fall where they may, and hope that this is enough time prior to the midterms to let this story to become old. Problem with this option is that you can’t predict how long the nuclear winter would last, and as stated earlier, this could potentially derail the remainder of PDJT’ term in office?!

It may be the Epstein history is minor in comparison to existential global events but truth and justice are concrete foundations with which to move forward. If the administration needs a delay they should perhaps turn this over to a special prosecutor. Give some reasons such as the videos were edited(https://www.wired.com/story/metadata-shows-the-dojs-raw-jeffrey-epstein-prison-video-was-likely-modified/), hidden / missing documents , etc. The special prosecutor (Matt Gretz)can buy time for a thorough investigation to be completed at the “strategic and opportune time”. PDJT is off the hook.

Catherine Austin Fitts recently spoke on how one should consider, whenever we see things that don’t make sense, that someone’s family has been threatened. Fitts has thought a lot about this problem because she does not believe that her own mother committed suicide as authorities claimed.
I do not have a link for this, but I remember that Senator Jim Jordan’s nephew died in an untimely car wreck; during the contested 2020 election there was an odd car wreck that took the boyfriend of a critical politician’s daughter; and there are so many more instances, the death of Thomas Massie’s wife makes me question circumstances.
Anyway our political leaders are dealing with a vicious set of gangsters.
I want improvements, which I have gotten, and I don’t want to sacrifice good to try for perfection. Also, I don’t want to expect courage from political leaders that I might not possess myself. The threats they deal with are obvious and awful.
