The popular headlines read that six secret service agents were suspended last month. However, a more fulsome review of the disciplinary action highlights a slight slap on the wrist as the suspensions were from 10 to 42 days.
The disciplinary action follows an internal review of the failures of the Secret Service during President Trump’s rally in Butler, Pennsylvania that almost cost him his life.
WASHINGTON – Six agents were suspended by the U.S. Secret Service for failures connected to last year’s attempted assassination of then-presidential candidate Donald Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania, an official told ABC News.
The personnel moves were confirmed four days shy of the anniversary of the July 13, 2024, shooting incident that left Trump’s ear bloodied.
Corey Comperatore, a firefighter attending Trump’s campaign rally that day, died in the attack.

I think it was a long-standing Biden admin policy to scale-back the security planning for President Trump in general. As for Butler in particular, a bigger question might be how did CNN know to show up in Butler that day with their top-of-the-line, high-speed, HD cameras? There has to be a way to go back and capture the communication and decision-making process involved.

What about shots heard from several different weapons? Who decided to remove and cremate Crook’s body and squirt the roof clean immediately after the shooting? I dealt with multiple unions for thirty years. They knew what the rules were and what to expect if the rules weren’t followed. Progressive discipline is appropriate for most union employees as their positions do not made life and death decisions. The problem in government and what exists lies at the feet of the politization of the Executives. You want to find incompetence there is where it exists. The Unions get provisions in their contracts via the Executives and Politicians. Just one example is arbitration. The arbiters too often come from places like law schools. Products of the Left. They know the way to more cases is to side with the unions as this will encourage more cases and lucrative life styles for the arbiters.
SCOTUS ruled President Trump can reorganize away…..these agents get floater rotation – assigned to the Anchorage Alaska post for 6 months – Nov-May, and then the Sonoran Desert post out of El Paso Jun-October.

I drive a cargo van part-time for a major company. I can be fired for driving more than 11 mph over the posted speed limit. Our vans are monitored for speed by GPS. They watch where we are on a live map. We get questions like, “Why did it take you an extra thirty minutes to make that delivery?”
We can’t drive a company van when we are not on the clock for company business and we are personally assigned that vehicle on a computer while we drive it. Our driving record is reviewed annually by the company to include any driving violations, EVEN WHILE DRIVING OUR OWN VEHICLES.

Every time I saw the replay of that day my gut knew that something was so very very wrong, especially in looking back at my memories of the assassination of JFK and assassination attempt on Reagan.
In looking for the Reagan Video I found this video. I’d already seen differences in the handling of the assassination attempt of Trump versus what I remembered of the news clips of Reagan Assassination attempt.
Though this particular video one not only sees the differences but some of the mistakes made with Reagan assassination attempt were explained. In watching this video, I and I think others can see how screwed up the security with Trump was on that day.
Believe that anyone with a brain knows that unlike the JFK, & Regan, many of the people who were in PA that day to supposedly protecting Trump knew what was about to happen & did nothing. After listening to the video one sees all the security practice of even Reagan’s day were ignored, much less many of the new ones bein ignored.
My biggest question is why only suspension? In my opinion the agents should be fired without any compensation.

The training of the Secret Service was in evidence when an assassination attempt was made on President Ronald Reagan in 1981, this lead to further security improvements involving metal detectors for screening weapons.
No doubt in my mind that God was/is watching over Trump. If not for the divine hand of God Trump would not be here today.

If you were covering your tracks in this planned and coordinated assassination attempt the Secret Service would slowly wind down Trump’s level of protection in a gradual manner starting in 2023, then build in an excuse (Jill Biden had a competing event conveniently scheduled) why Trump’s detail team was so inadequate in Butler that day.
You knew something was in the air when various media reports starting in April (?) began the rounds saying Trump’s team was requesting increased S.S. coverage for events and receiving very little response from the Biden administration.
By this point you have to believe they know exactly who was the decision maker in the Secret Service who shifted protection assets to Jill Biden’s detail that day. It’s the smoking gun. That person is directly involved in the conspiracy, though likely is following marching orders from someone outside the agency.

In both JFK & Reagan one can see that it looks like better attempts to look like the president was being protected during and after.
