“Trump will not find perfect solutions. He will find OPTIMAL solutions. We cannot ask for more.
Trump has stood by and watched Perfect murder Good for 8 years – maybe longer. He’s not gonna do it. He’s going to deliver the best outcome possible, and he’s not waiting for us to feel relaxed about it.
Best presidency ever! Just hang on. More winning is coming, but a lot of people are going to scream that it’s all over at EVERY turn.
The best way through this is to define viewpoints, not people, because people will shift as they change position and velocity in Trump gravity.
Bash the neocon, warmonger, and dopey globalist positions – not the people who are going to hold them one moment and come loose from them later.
Trump is Jupiter moving through the asteroid belt. He is going to pull people into his orbit.
A few will get slung off into space, but most will come along for the ride of their lives.
I am ON the Trump Train for good, even if I scream that I want off and can’t take it. In the end, I only want to scream “TOO MUCH WINNING!!!”

Here is the game plan that the forces against Trump will be using for the foreseeable future.
They will attempt to get you to make the perfect the enemy of the good.
Be it the freedom clowns and spending, the immigration hawks with H1B visas, the peace doves with timing, the cultural warriors with total bans of DEI/CRT, the neocons with war fighting, or the swamp dwellers with draining the swamp.
All of them will attempt to get you to believe on whatever issue is the issue of the day that it doesn’t go far enough or do enough. They will try to make you think that some sub issue of that issue is more important and should be handled first, that since the issue hasn’t been handled yet it won’t be, that we can’t do more than one thing, that so and so is a plant to stop the draining of the swamp, or that because it wasn’t 100% Trump lied. On every single issue, one or more groups will attempt this strategy.
You can’t allow them that power over you. If Trump secures the border and deports 2 million, don’t allow them to reduce that good by them saying well he didn’t deport 2.5 million, so he failed or lied.
You can’t allow them to use the perfect to void out the good in the coming months.
They will try. They already have with the CR and the H1b visa debates. It works, that is why they use it. You have to keep it in the front of your head on everything about to occur that half a loaf or hopefully in most cases 7/8ths a loaf is better than no loaf.
Do not allow them to gaslight you into thinking the good is the enemy of the perfect.
In the real world, most things are never perfect, but if we try real hard, we can get plenty of good accomplished in the coming 4 years.
President Trump is transparent in his words and actions. He is consistent in what he says, what he does, and what he asks/demands of others. His promises are bold and he keeps them like no other president has. He is making massive, nearly overnight changesr, not only in the country, but in the world. It is amazing that he is able to accomplish so much when there are so many snakes in the grass. This term, he is weeding them out faster.
The purpose of President Trump is plainly visible and consistent: He is for the benefit first of the common PEOPLE of this country, then of the PEOPLE in the rest of the world. It is validating, even to our battered conservative skepticism.
The methods of his leadership are amazing. I still don’t get HOW he does it, or HOW he is able to get so much momentum going, but every day the momentum is growing. Everyone and every organization has their eyes opened every day — just by watching him. Even those who hate him, are biased against him, and want to see him gone — cannot ignore him. He lives rent free in their head, and they come around to seeing the universal principles by which he is operating. He hammers actions based on truth from one direction, then another, and they cannot mount an organized opposition against him.
He has chosen to use his intellect and every skill he has to do what is right. He has tremendous faith that he can make a difference in this world. He has a confidence and courage such that he doesn’t care what others think, yet a humility to know he has to do it with the help of like minded people. Those people are the “common” people, and he ridicules those who think they are not common.
He believes people are basically good. He believes that God is real. He believes that healthy people are happy people, and they need to be able to create wealth freely for their labor, and have the freedom to spend their money on what is good for them.
He believes the United States, with its Constitutional Republic, is the best environment in the world to enable and give opportunity for people to be happy and prosperous.
He believes that we can be a light for the world, but we must demand that the rest of the world respect us and our right to life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of happiness.
He believes the enemy of our country are the stupid, greedy American people who have been selfishly taking advantage of this country; who betrayed the trust and obedience of its people; and who diverted the people’s wealth for their own selfish gain, at the expense of the principles of this country. He’s not going to allow that anymore.
He has cultivated and focused the family of MAGA. Identifying those people whose goodness, industriousness, trust, and obedience have been taken advantage of and abused. He has opened our eyes to this abuse, and the rights of freedom and self determination that have been quietly stolen from us.
He has rekindled the healthy distrust of government and men with too much power held by our founders. He has recultivated the desire to reclaim our freedoms and rights, and is empowering us with a hope and pathway to reclaim our spiritual and economic freedom.
He wants the US to be a light of hope on the hill for all people. He will negotiate win/win agreements with those nations and countries who respect us; who respect the principles and intent of our Constitution. If you do not respect us, however, we are not going to let you take advantage of our goodness, or share in our wealth at our expense. If you as a nation are treating your people badly, you are going to be treated less favorably by us, until you show that you value your people as much as we value ours.
He is convincing those who are very wealthy (most of whom truly earned their money), that the best economic soil in which to build wealth is in a constitutional republic, which supports the ability of the common man to earn wealth in proportion to his efforts. The economic engine of the United States is the human spirit freed to enjoy the fruits of honest labor, and that engine has more natural and raw horsepower than any other governed economy.
The Trump Train seems to be remarkably aligned with universal principles of Truth, which reflect the will and design of our Creator, and are the best standard by which we should live. These same principles were what our country’s founders used to declare independence, and framed into the Constitution of this nation.
Our founders believed that a nation should preserve the right and freedom of an individual to seek, understand, and live by God’s principles. They believed that free individuals working together in humility would make a stronger nation than a government which dictates its will on the people. President Trump professes and seeks to lead and restore this nation back to these same principles.
These principles resonate deeply within all human beings, down to our DNA in every cell, in our spirits, and produce fruit that “miraculously” multiplies. Because we follow universal principles, we see the snowballing acceleration of momentum on day 160 of the 2nd term of this very stable genius in the history of the kingdoms of this world in the year of our Lord 2025.

The sun is out here on the east coast of Vancouver Island a couple of seals are “ out front warming up “ as they do one flipper in the air while resting.
My gratitude for this has increased in part as a result of enjoying

Well said Lorrie and I say that as someone who cared for patients having had the same surgery at Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center for several years.
It is very early in the post operative period and the most caring action we Treepers can do is to send up our prayers and good wishes as we have been. 🙂

In a way I am glad she says this. The population base of We the People is becoming wiser, and more aware.

People will know that such a specific item, “gay and trans story hour” being essential to education is stupid and inappropriate.
People will know that public education is not dependent without a “gay and trans story hour” and that this statement is grossly exaggerated.
People will see, even if they want a “gay and trans story hour” that Sotomayor is not intelligent, not well grounded, and is using her role in an immature way unbefitting to a sitting member of the highest court in the land.
And who implements these story hours, drag queens?/s
Why do they never read to Seniors in nursing homes or other groups? Only Children?
Right? Except even the most demented patient would have a problem with those stories. The elderly would certainly love the momentary company.
Brings me to a few memories of groups of school children would go to an animal shelter and read out loud to the dogs…
I remember going to nursing homes and reading to the residents when I was in elementary school. In middle and high school played viola in an orchestral quartet that would play for them. God bless our elderly who have handed down the lessons of righteous living.

They forgot to mention that this bill is the foundation for AI rulership. My latest AI fiasco; husband in hospice is facing amputation. He thought he could just tough it out at home and the hospice nurse only knows that diabetic neuropathy patients have little to no feeling in that area. Fact is that when the gangrene sets in the pain is uncontrollable. Hospice also takes advantage of spousal caregivers and their (my) ignorance. I was advised by the nurse that I could seek outside help and husband and I decided to re-establish a relationship with a doctor we like and trust. I was in process of finding and sending photos of my husband’s feet ss requested by assistant to doctor. The AI on my device figured out what I was doing and without my permission it went much faster than me through my photos documenting his journey and picked old photos that show his feet as mostly healthy and sent those photos to the doctor before I knew it and never asking permission or giving me an option to stop it’s action. Of course based on these AI sent photos the doctor rejected my husband rather harshly I might ad. I DK if the AI has the ability to delay sending my emails or texts but it was several hours later that I got another response from the doctors office – them having seen the current photos I sent along with an explanation of what the AI did without my permission.
I keep saying that AI is not ready for prime time and I cannot support the BBB with the current provisions depriving us of the opportunity to protect ourselves from AI run amok.
When AI interferes with business the employees have zero skills in how to override the AI in order to do right by the customer. AI is actually degrading the quality of customer service not enhancing it but their “how did we do” survey questions never ask about that.
A few weeks back AI did something absolutely horrible to me but I can’t write it because I can’t prove it. I can prove what happened on my device. In its current incarnation AI creates excessive work and lots of stress.
I also can’t support cutting Medicaid. Lack of adequate healthcare creates crime by desperate people. Also untreated contagion can spread rapidly and fatally. It’s also something that Republicans have historically been known for – wanting to pay slave wages and when you are no longer able to work they want you to conveniently die. They don’t believe in retirement, disability, pensions, dignity – none of it. No Golden Years for the masses – those days are over.
I am looking forward to reviewing all the big hacks in recent years cause privacy laws would prohibit big tech from accessing this information legally. Looking like AI has access to everything and is prepared to rain hell on us and cull the herd. Wish
The AI took control of my device and published this before I had a chance to proofread. Before that my device was acting buggy and every word and symbol was typed incorrectly. I think AI did that.

Apple. I’m not tech savvy but a visitor expressed surprise that the new Apple Intelligence would be on my now discontinued iPhone. Only reason I kept it is partly because I’m housebound with caregiving and I thought maybe if I had a medical emergency I could get Siri to call 911 for me. I actually hate the technology but love to read and look stuff up without going to library and it’s kinda necessary these days. Plus I use it to document medical with photos. If I get on a fluff site I can read myself to sleep without damaging a book and that gets me to sleep quick!
I am wondering if ‘spell check’ is a forerunner of AI?
IDK but that function is sketchy on this device and I find that the anticipatory actions of the program is a problem not a help. It’s always picking words that are not my intent so I have to fight it just to write anything which becomes tedious and time consuming. Plus I think if people don’t proofread enough they get in trouble with their readers for what the program altered. Wonder how many “reporters” dictate their articles and fail to proofread or if errors get inserted later after passing on from reporter to next step in publishing.
This is happening to me as well.
If people keep voting against their best interests, than that’s on them. Some people will never learn!
The parties make deals – it’s obvious that they must. We’re always voting against our own best interest. The one exception in my entire life has been President Trump but I have to insist against the AI part and the cutting Medicaid part of the BBB. There may well be more that I disagree with but I’ve been kinda busy.

All I know is when I fly over Death Valley and those other Southwest deserts, I look down and see a bunch of light pastel ponds that look like mineral works settling ponds. There had to have been something they were mining that’s maybe suspended now for different reasons and could be re-activated.
Dunno the details, but just an observation
Fun fact, Death Valley was a major natural salt producer for the costal cities. The minerals are left from historical lakes that dried out, similar to the current process of leeching lithium from brine in giant man-made fields in Chile (that’s how you get pure lithium for your lithium ion batteries).
And right next door was the very large Cerro Gordo zinc and silver mine, which is now being explored and renovated on YouTube for our entertainment.

Moreover, it involves a challenge to the eligibility of William Smith, who was born BEFORE 1776, so clearly a British subject at the time of his birth. The dispute tells us NOTHING about birthright citizenship after the Declaration of Independence.

I suspect that she got nuked because drafts are circulated and discussed, and whereas it’s one thing for Justices to have differing interpretations that are reasonable, it’s quite another to persist in making statements that are obviously wrong and ridiculous. We have appellate courts because in fact not infrequently, trial court judges DO get the law wrong.
(By the way, Sotomayor’s lengthy and hysterical dissent was just as bad, and, among other things, repeatedly declared that the underlying birthright issue, which was not the issue under review, was “settled law.”)

A recent Supreme Court ruling in favor of South Carolina allows states to deny Medicaid funds to NGO Planned Parenthood in a move that sets a precedent for conservative states across the country to block tax dollars going to abortion providers.
Medina v. Planned Parenthood South Atlantic, centers on whether low-income Medicaid patients can sue under what is known as Section 1983 – part of the Civil Rights Act of 1871 – in order to choose their own qualified healthcare provider. The case involves South Carolina’s blocking of Medicaid funding for Planned Parenthood South Atlantic, which the organization argued violated federal law.
In a 6-3 decision, the Court noted that the typical redress for such a violation would be for the Secretary of Health and Human Services to withhold Medicaid funding from the state, not for an individual to sue the state.
The decision upends the long running problem of taxpayers being forced to indirectly fund abortion clinics and procedures which they morally oppose. According to 2022 data, Planned Parenthood receives at least $600 million annually through state Medicaid reimbursments (taxpayer dollars), which is around 30% of the organization’s total revenue. Though not all of this money goes towards abortions, Planned Parenthood’s primary political lobby efforts focus on increasing abortion access.

Decades prior to “Y2K’, the ACM ……….. (The Association for Computing Machinery is a US-based international learned society for computing. It was founded in 1947.) ……. had an “ethics oath” for computer professionals to take because it was recognized quickly that the results of their professional work was “unseeable” by the general public and business and government organizations that would require their functions. It worked as a check against fraud during the infant stage of the industry.
It wasn’t until the mid-1960’s that the first case of a programmer being charged with theft was recorded…… a bank programmer padding his own account from dormant accounts.
The profession went down quickly after the “non-ethical-bill gates-types” of the US and no-telling who in foreign countries introduced the “mafia level” white collar crimes. The silicon-valley-marketing-nerds introduction of AI is just the latest version.

True, it is most definitely neither intelligent or sentient – at least at this point in time and may never be. That is a strawman.
AI is also most definitely NOT “exactly the same” Mike, not even close. It isn’t even the technology itself – but the intended scale, scope, and uses.
There are multiple areas that are of serious and justified concern. The first is the use of it to destroy freedom, liberty, and privacy – becoming the hydrogen bomb of totalitarianism. Ancillary to this is the so-called “automatic decision” model that is protected and specifically called out in the BBB (need surgery to survive – we’re sorry, the machine denied you – need a loan, same answer – need a government benefit, sorry – need a permit – nope – oh, and you can’t sue to challenge the decision either). As currently written states are expressly prohibited from having any say – meaning we the people have zero say about any of it for 10 years. Beyond imbecilic.
The next major issue is the enormous power and potable water resources the centers require. The Chinese development was part hoax (they used distillation, a known technique, for training, to play magician) and part actual efficiency. To expect that there will never be efficiency improvements is to deny both history and common sense.
However, said efficiency does not, nor will within a reasonable time frame – if ever, solve the issues. In the case of the Chinese efficiency method in combination with NVIDIA hardware efficiency improvements, total AI center power was reduced not one watt – instead ever more computing power is being built out to “take advantage of the improvements” and its use spreads more quickly to other areas that were marginally not cost effective.
In terms of power it’s like when “the internet” first came about. Internet infrastructure and endpoints in totality had a voracious appetite for power. Compared to now, the total power needed for the same usage is an order of magnitude less – but the total usage of it is multiple orders of magnitude greater as ever more use cases and users have been added and the overall power usage is also orders of magnitude greater.
There are solutions – but even if they become universally used, they will more likely than not be far too late, with the most damage already done. One set of damage is the cost to the average household, whose utility bills will continue to rise to offset industry’s and once up, they won’t go back down. The same effect will be felt by other, different businesses.
Then there is the consumption of potable water from a finite resource standpoint, which if it continues at anywhere near its current pace will suck dry and potentially collapse aquifers already strained, result in ever more farms being lost due to the cost increases and water availability reductions or eliminations, and exact a horrible toll on low and fixed income citizens and significant burdens to all but the ultra-rich who never feel the effects of decisions financially.
Then there are some of the less spoken of uses – such as in “defense robotics” and use in high lethality weapons where the main-in-the-loop is being slowly but surely removed. Am reminded of the ‘old’ adage, “To err is human, to really FUBAR takes a computer.”
The effect upon the workforce is also going to be much worse than allowed for, with entire career branches destroyed – and in spite of the serpent tongued assurances otherwise they will not be offset by equal numbers of jobs, not even close – nor will the jobs created be available to people of the same capability level. The workforce isn’t made up of all highly intelligent and knowledgeable people. “Miners, learn to code.” “Coders, learn to pick fruit” “Fruit pickers, learn to live on UBI.” Harari and his masters are cackling with glee thinking of all the “useless eaters.”
