Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban is not known as a man who pretends. Orban speaks plainly, directly and without pretense. During his open media segment at the beginning of the NATO summit the media demanded to know if he thought Russia was a threat and how he felt about Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy being present at the assembly.
Orban being Orban delivered the response the Europeans did not want to hear. Trump is great. Russia is not scary. The biggest threat to the EU is their continued slide away from competitive economics. As to Zelenskyy, NATO has no business in Ukraine. WATCH:

MHGA!
We need more people “telling it like it is” – instead of uttering media centered platitudes to appease the oligarchs and low information voters.
The truth will set you free!!!!!!
The EU euroweenies are more worried about Russia than the muslim hord invading their countries and turning Europe into a big islamic caliphate!!! Most mayors in major cities in Britain are muslems and now the Democrat Party candidate for NYC mayor is a muslim socialist! So it’s starting here as well!!!! JMO
Yes it is. Sad. Very sad.
“The real threat is not security, it’s the economy and losing competitiveness on the global trade…that’s the real problem.” – Victor Orban
Grateful for friends like Victor Orban.
Hopefully the conversation with Z-MAN …. “shouldn’t you be IN KIEV talking to President Putin. tik tok tik tok and more Ukrainian Territory has a new owner.”
Cease Fire Talks DO NOT EQUAL Peace Talks. tik tok tik tok
Z-Man has spent more time away from Kiev than Sock Puppet JoeBama did away from DC, physically and mentally.
So … who controls Z-Man’s AUTO-PEN??
Precisely and a huge part of him refusing to hold elections.
It is 3 letters. But not P E N.
NATO shoulda……
taken the win in 1991……
disbanded……
and welcomed Russia into……
The Brave New World…..
but no……the MIC needs to make money.
I’m still furious about how we refused to protect Russia in 1991, when those people, who had no experience of self-gov’t for 70+ years, needed benevolent protection as they were adjusting to freedom. I was & am ashamed of my country.
The Russians could have been our friends. Disgusting. Our political class left them to the predators & grifters of Wall Street, oligarchs, organized crime, etc
I’m glad Victor Orban said it and he’s right. Ukraine cannot and will not be in NATO.
That freeze frame of Orban and Zelenskyy says it all.
As an American, not one more red cent to Ukraine. The Ukrainian arse can take his demand for 40 billion a year and pound sand, hopefully in Fordow.
I’d put an election as the primary negotiating position of the USA. You want more money? Have an election, a clean one, no shenanigans.
It is not fair to the Ukrainian people that he is “representing” Ukraine on the world stage and we have no way of knowing if he is the chosen representative for the people.
How do you have negotiations without having an accurate accounting of the will of the people?
Agree. And the same applies to the U.S., our elections are a mess. We have no idea if any particular politician was fairly elected to the office he or she holds. Election integrity is THE most important issue facing our country.
I just said the same to my husband about 30 minutes ago.
It is downright frightening that we are unable to purge illegals off our voter rolls not to mention American citizens that are ineligible that still vote in multiple locations.
God bless Orban
I think this question was the most enlightening for me:
“Are you happy that President Zelenskyy is being kept on the sidelines this time?”
Zelenskyy being sidelined is not just a sign of war fatigue. It is a signal that the political utility of Ukraine has reached its peak.
With long-term military budgets now locked in at elevated levels, the Military Industrial Complex no longer needs Ukraine as its primary sales narrative.
NATO nations are beginning to treat wartime-scale defense spending as the new baseline rather than a temporary wartime surge. This shift benefits the defense sector by stabilizing procurement pipelines and embedding military expansion into national budgets. As a result, Ukraine becomes less central to the justification, because the spending continues with or without an active frontline conflict.
What we are seeing within NATO is not a retreat from war, but a structural shift from reactive mobilization to institutionalized militarization.
since i’m mighty Hungary,
i’d like to order a double Orban, hold the Z! 😁
If he could just once do a mic drop. He’s earned it at this point.
