Essentially, by removing the Iran nuclear threat, the overall influence from Israel on President Trump’s foreign policy objective is also lessened. As a student of history, I do not see Judaism, since your speaking of religion, ending either at Jesus crucifixion, or His resurrection. Constantine fought it three hundred years later, making the reading of the Torah illegal, and changing Sabbath to Sunday. The latter is all in “The Church’s” library.
We read from both the New and Old Testaments every Sunday. The Old Testament (Torah) tells about coming of the Messiah, the Savior of the Jewish people. When Jesus came to earth and started his ministry he fulfilled this promise and declared that he is the new covenant (breaking the old covenant with Israel). Then stating that the only way to the Father is through him.

I for one do not believe that “the extent of damage” will be quickly nor easily discerned. Yet here are these people, literally within a few hours, declaring that the operation was a failure. I don’t believe that what they are saying is grounded in truth nor factual knowledge. I see it as propaganda – and, I fully expect to see it in a situation like this one.
Meanwhile: When someone, who’s calling you “Big Satan,” and Israel “Little Satan,” is accumulating uranium and building long-range ICBMs, you’d better take notice and do something decisive. In hindsight, did President Trump split the baby?
President Trump has said Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon. Israel said they will have one tomorrow. Israel starts bombing Iran immediately after President Trump has given them 60 days to make a deal. Israel took advantage of the Iranians not making a deal within the time frame to start a war.
Since the Iranians did not deal and Israel started a war, Israel thought they had President Trump in a box. President Trump tells the Iranians they have two weeks to extract the uranium from the facilities before we bomb them because they did not make a deal. China extracts the uranium which prevents the Israelis from interfering. President Trump also tells Iran that bombing the nuclear sites is all that will be done as long as Iran does not retaliate. Meantime Israel will keep bombing. Two days later China and Iran give the all clear.
USA bombs the plants and declares a ceasefire. Israel is caught off guard and makes a mad rush to drop as many bombs as possible before time is up. President Trump gets angry and notifies Israel there better not be any more bombing.
Israel not happy because President Trump out maneuvered them, so they did not get to destroy Iran. Iran not happy but accepts they did not realize President Trump does not allow them to play their games of delay. They accept the consequences of their wrong decision and are glad President Trump allowed them to walk away.
