A friend inside Iran: “Ric, thank you for asking. Right now in Iran, there is a full-scale security crackdown. Armed checkpoints are everywhere.
IRGC, Basij, and plainclothes forces are stopping cars, searching phones, and intimidating people. On top of that, the regime is taking families of Iranian journalists and activists abroad hostage, threatening them to silence opposition voices. Dozens were arrested today. Several were executed this week under false charges of “spying for Israel”, the regime uses fear and lies to justify killings.”

This is why the timing of a cease fire is wrong. Israel needs to finish the job and eliminate all of them. Otherwise Iran will just continue with its terrorism. President Trump will realize soon that tying Israel’s hands before total victory will have severe consequences.
Job for the Iranians.
250 years ago, our founders decided what end result was worth burying the innocents along the way
Nobody deserves what they’re unwilling to die for themselves
Steel forged in fire
Iran’s freedom is in it’s own hands
.
I had a friend whose physician sister was active in organizing young people “against the Shah” and helping to set off the revolution that resulted in the lying Ayatollah, then hiding out in France, to regain power. The rest of the family fled to the United States.
A few years later, when the sister (think of her as akin to our deluded “anti-capitalist” “pro-Hamas” ignorant college protesters here) realized what she had helped perpetrate, she went nuts and immolated herself in public in a now pointless demonstration.
In the history of the world, “revolutions” tend not to end well. The United States, e.g., did not have a “revolution” instigated by grass roots know-nothings. We had a “war for independence” carefully orchestrated by very wise men, now known as our “founding fathers”, including many who already were government leaders in the colonies, and who had a definitive goal and vision.
(And France helped, don’t forget.)
.
outhouse counsel: True.
Its tragic how easily led and deluded these ‘revolutionaries’ and their followers are.
Hard lessons
Proverbs 17 v 11
An evil man seeks only rebellion;
Therefore a cruel messenger will be sent against him.
1 Samuel 15 v 23
For rebellion is as the sin of [d]witchcraft,
And stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry.
Because you have rejected the word of the Lord,
He also has rejected you from being king.”
Israel cannot finish the job.
This is up to the Iranian people to do now. Israel and the USA “opened the doors” as someone commented here and now the Iranian people who want the mullahs gone need to get it done. It seems crazy, but there are still millions of Iranians who want this religious tyranny to continue and who full on believe in the Islamic desire to rule all others, who believe the kill the Jews and Americans propaganda as their mantra and will not welcome a change to a more secular govt.
Having said that, do I believe either Israel or Iran will hold the peace for long? Nope. They have had bitter battles for many centuries. This won’t end but it may stop for awhile because of PTrump’s efforts. The entire ME has to decide what they want out of Iran and then demand it. Like the EU, they need to fend for themselves without the money and military strength of the USA. There’s plenty of money in the ME so they should be able to take care of themselves if they can ever agree to join in mutual agendas.
Susan, let the Lord handle them.
.
Such an unjust regime will not stand much longer.
.
Or if you have no positive thoughts on or about the Lord, It is simply not our job. We might make a worse mess!
Iranian-American Amil Imani explains here that the Mullahs are not Iranians, they are Occupiers loyal to a warped ideology that they brutally force upon the Iranian people that are hostages..
Imani: Iran’s Blood-Soaked Mullahs are Unworthy of the Iranian Name
https://granitegrok.com/world/2025/06/irans-blood-soaked-mullahs-are-unworthy-of-the-iranian-name
Would love to see the Iranian people remove them without the nazi globalists installing the MEK terrorists
“All things are naked and bare to the eyes of Him with whom We have to do.”
It is up to the Iranian People to finish off the foreign “occupiers” in their Government and take their Country back.
Iran does not need nuclear power.
They have oil to spare.
Winners do not compromise.
Winners set terms.
In God We Trust
{All others pay cash}
Trust God
Fear not
I may have accidentally flagged your comment. My bad, if so. The flag icon turned red, then grey, so possibly all is well.
What does MEK mean?
.
I dearly wish that more people would get up to speed on Islamic jihad, and understand that there is no “negotiating” with it.
Numerous Iranians/Persians who fled when the theocratic regime gained power don’t engage in this pretending. A religious Christian seeks peace and harmony in the world. A religious Muslim seeks death or the subjugation of infidels. That is why so many countries that once were majority Christian in the Middlle East are now Muslim. It has been 1400 years of conquest. Most people were converted at the tip of the sword, so to speak. They didn’t hear a few lectures from an imam and decide, yes I think the Koran makes so much more sense than Jesus. But then there is the next generation of children who know nothing else…
Ths “religion” is not merely another point of view. The mullahs in control of Iran are not “the Iranians”. at least not all of them (although “team affiliation” a human proclivity means that when a jihadist theocracy attains control in a country, titular Muslims will tend to fall in line, passively.)
The jihadist agenda advocates that adherents bide their time being nice and getting along while strength is built up through quiet civilization jihad until there is a critical mass of sufficient of devout Muslims in a population who are willing to die for Allah amd emgage in violent jihad. I wish Europeans, Americans, the west would get educated.
See the Center for Security Policy https://centerforsecuritypolicy.org/tag/sharia/. amd see among other things, their publication Sharia: Threat to America. https://www.centerforsecuritypolicy.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/Team_B_Abridged.pdf
.
That’s why I wish we would have backed out and let Israel finish the job. Iran will continue to be a problem without new leadership. And we wouldn’t have needed to get involve further-Israel had things under control.
I’m sure that if Israel could “finish the job” all by themselves, they certainly would have gone for it! The problem is that Israel, much like the EU globalists, can’t seem to make a move without exploiting USA money or USA troops.
And we no longer plan to blindly support foreign gubmints with either one. Everyone seems to thrive off of American drive, ambition and ingenuity, yet they are loathe to duplicate our Constitutional Republic in their own countries!
The people of these nations need to step up and figure it out for themselves. They don’t need Americans to coddle them anymore: What they really need is to create their own Constitutional Republic!

With all the serious issues facing our country, the New York Times decided to dispatch a former abortion correspondent (cosplaying now as a “family” expert) for a hit piece on me and the Trump administration.
NYT reporter @CAKitchener is genuinely disturbed that I’m happily married, have nine kids, and—brace yourself—didn’t abort any of them.
Among the hard-hitting questions she harassed my team with: did I consider aborting one of my daughters, what color plaid my siblings and I wore as children, whether I drive a minivan, and bizarre fact-checks on an old reality show.
Pulitzer stuff, truly. Let the NYT goof off. I’m laser focused on making transportation great again—modernizing air traffic control, rebuilding bridges, and reviving U.S. commercial shipping through a reinvigorated Merchant Marine Academy. While they obsess over my beautiful family, I’m working for yours.
https://nitter.poast.org/SecDuffy/status/1937124269374292211#m
Luv it
Well Sec Duffy don’t you know marriage and family are white supremacists thingys?
Racist and homophobic, too!!!!!
I only had 4 kids and I live alone now but I do love minivans. Everyone I know nowadays who are raising children, all drive SUVs. Minivans are considered lame.
Showing the left a loving and happy family is similar to showing Dracula the cross.
A couple of days ago I posted my concerns about using the bunker buster bombs due to long term involvement and it becoming President Trump’s war. He then brokered a cease fire which I hadn’t contemplated. President Trump solved my concerns, put the middle east on the road to peace. He is amazing!
You might want to check the morning news.
I have, President Trump is very aware of the actions of Iran AND Israel. He has clearly stated his opinion and will take action as he sees fit.
Might want to recheck
Doesn’t matter …whatever the two sides do is on them. We all know it’s what the military does, not the desk leaders, that determines the success of any cease fire. It only takes one hot-head, ideology-possessed field soldier to break a cease fire agreement. Point is, our POTUS made it happen…who else in the entire Universe could achieve that?
,
WWIII has been officially cancelled…
Let the D/Hamas spirit of antichrist {anti America} party of losers keep beating their dead horse…
That’s all they got left.
You might want to wait a day or two and see if this settles down.
morning Treepers…………..be well

Blessings to everyone who is weary of the Mideast 🪖💣🤯 misery!
Blessings to the innocents.🙏
Red sky at morning sailor take warning, God Bless Bjorkdream.
Beautiful!
Sigh. I wish that was my farm, a lifelong dream that will never happen. I’ve accepted it, my life is good, but pictures like this make me dream again and long for this kind of life. Only thing I’d add is horses in the fields. Thanks byork.
President Trump just very Very publicly called out Israel and warned them not to violate the ceasefire on truth social
I was listening to it in my car. He really took Israel to task. Then said “these are people that have been fighting so like they don’t know what the F-ck they are doing anymore”. PDJT was PISSED.
Bibi gave the middle finger to President Trump. That will not go well for Bibi.
Yeah sure as if congress isn’t owned by AIPAC.
Some of you have a lot to learn. Bibi is no friend of the USA.
Friends have disagreements.
Some friendships are built upon mutual advantages.
Even an enemy of my enemy can be a friend.
Israel is its own country in an area of constant conflicts of a thousand years or more. So is Iran. I give them some slack being they are the ones actually THERE living day to day.
Yes peace needs to happen and PTrump spent a lot of USA money and intelligence on trying to get a ceasefire so he does have a lot of skin in the game. But he doesn’t live there either. Both countries will eventually face off again. They will make their decisions. The USA will do likewise.
America wouldnt like being told what to do either by another country and both seem to be responding to making peace reluctantly, but out of necessity, because honestly I think they both ran out of money and arms to keep going much longer. Israel depends on the USA and Iran knows now there won’t be any messing around as long as PTrump is in office.
They have no choice right now and it appears other countries don’t want to support either side except with words at this point. Pres. Trump seems to be asking for the agreements settled on with Israel for him stepping in and bombing Iran and is not happy at all if Netanyahu is reneging on them.
The whole game isn’t visible, won’t ever be imo, a lot of strange goings on during the whole conflict, but one thing seems sure, this won’t end permanently. It never has and never will. After the term of 47 is up, things will probably ramp up again. Maybe before that time frame, but I hope there will be a time of peace for now.
Sorry, Bibi is not an alpha dog
BUT….BB needs the USA.
Ok…if that’s the way they want it let both Israel and Iran burn to the ground. Not another penny for Israel or any more weapons. Netanyahu is just another Zelensky.

Here is a great article, a ‘splainer on the Trump Doctrine Of War- which is business-like, comparable to a business man serving his stakeholders..
The writer also lays out the before and after- what we used to do, that failed of course, and what POTUS now does that is far superior because it actually accomplishes success..
It’s worth a few minutes- especially for the naysayers, fearmongers and trolls among us.

FABULOUS
Ideology is a luxury that efficient government can’t afford
Thank you, President Trump
Or… “Ideology is a luxury that efficient government can afford… until it runs out of money”…
Until it ‘runs out of other people’s money’…
Though the overall outline might be on the right track, I’m going to disagree with one particularly important piece of this…
This:
3. If/when negotiations fail, conceal & misdirect.
4. Strike with precision and overwhelming force.
WAAAYYY oversimplifies what went down with Iran. The U.S. was NOT done exhausting #3… did they engage with Europe for leverage? Russia? China?. See Sundance’s recent post about breaking the back of the globalists… it’s never a one-on-one exercise, which is exactly Trump’s business-like approach.
Yes, Iran was being problematic with negotiations, BUT THEY WERE STILL in that process. So the “if/when negotiations fail” bit doesn’t exactly apply here. I’m not saying it would never apply with Iran… just not in this particular case, specifically with the actions on Sunday.
Let’s put it this way: if Trump determined that a preemptive strike was the best course of action, then he would do that… in this case, that decision was removed from the White House. I’ve stated elsewhere: you can either agree or disagree with Israel’s actions… but those actions necessarily forced the Trump team’s effort into a geopolitical — not just localized — corner.
Here’s a hint: that article above doesn’t even contain the word “Israel”… does that even make sense?
I respectfully dissent from use of “stakeholders”, which is a leftist term meant to suggest that a broad range of interests besides the shareholders of corporations have real, cognizable interests in how a business is operated. It is a leftist word which has relatively recently come in vogue among those supporting socialist/woke ideology. Much as with the word “equity” rather than equality. I don’t mean to be nit-picking, and don’t think I am being. The Marxists use words as cudgels – words of intellectual warfare. E.g., “What is a woman?”
You can’t bargain in good faith with Mohammedans and President Trump knows this.
In case you haven’t figured it out yet, Trump & Netanyahu have been playing Iran with a “Good Cop / Bad Cop” routine since the get-go.
Frankly, I hope Israel drops a big one on those bearded bastards in Tehran and ends the game . . . . and I bet President Trump secretly hopes they do too.
Nutteryoohoo is the “Bad Lieutenant “..
But not the Mullahs? Total autocratic religious pretenders?
How about all of them suck?
Yeah, the Mullahs don’t pretend to be our best friends.. all of Irans Alliances with nuclear armed BRICS Nations didn’t evaporate in 30 hours..
Those nations would welcome new leadership in Iran. Nobody likes the Islamists or wants them to stay in power.
Israel violated the fake agreement first with a massive bombing strike.
As fast as he could.
.
(My understanding, please correct me if I’m wrong, is that Iran sent a missile first.)
I am wondering…
How many “little” unprovoked attacks by another nation, either directly or sneakily through its terrorist proxies, should Israel have to stomach and do nothing?
What would we do if Mexican-funded and applauded cartels just periodically launched a few missiles into Houston or San Diego?
What do you do when a mosquiro bites you? Gently swipe it away? How about a swarm? Fan them away? Offer them a bloody steak and hope they leave you alone? Try to negotiate?
.
It is also my understanding Iran lobbed first.
Your points are very well made.
Peace seems to be a rare thing with Mohammedans. They are still using Trump this morning. Clever, “despicable persons” 🙂
Just like Ukraine…pushing a ceasefire gives up the game
And what a coinkydink…DITTO DC
Expose everything, agendas DELIBERATELY beget agendas that keep conflict on loop
Create the problem you want to address, not just here, global concerns created to profit the few deem peace as unacceptable because it only benefits the little people, bottom-feeders, serfdom…we’ve never had a champion who rejects political expediency and ideology to
empower the middle class
Worse for the globalists, it’s contagious
Trump is nobody’s lackey just because some of his priorities overlap Israel’s, so dispense with the isolationist bullshit, we have plenty of thugs in our own front yard, Trump’s taking them on here AND abroad
Every person on the planet benefits from global trade, pragmatism don’t pick winners and losers, but it’s on deck to encourage traditional foes to swap hostility with prosperity, let Syria, Qatar, Iran, etc have their chance to participate where Middle East dynamics are being transformed
NO GUARANTEES, so don’t EVEN pretend there should be, put cynicism on a shelf, it’ll be there for you to dust off and put back to work if pragmatism flunks out
Hers something we can all agree with
Why is George soros still operating in America ?

I opened up to my MSN browser and there is no mention of a “Peace Deal” in the Iran/Israel conflict. There is a bit on how Rep Massie was interrupted by a new flash on CNN during his devastating interview criticizing Trump.
Just another example of MSM’s fair reporting.
Israel and “Peace” should not be used in the same sentence.
This is what PDJT is dealing with in these two …
You mean this is what Trump is dealing with in the two houses of Congress.
Appears you have an agenda. Thanks for making it clear early.
What’s your agenda Vol?
It ain’t antisemitism.
Your slip is showing.
You and JinWis should get a room.
I’ve got Eastern European Jew blood in my veins from my Mothers Side so that make me part of The Tribe, Jerky!!
Try harder.
Ever hear of self-hating Jews?
I am surrounded by them.
I am a Gentile. I love Jesus, and the America I remember as a kid in the 80s.
If you don’t have anything better to do than harass Truth Addicts like me, Hank Johnson could use a few lessons after you tune his axe ..
I’m not tribe or otherwise. Don’t really care about either but believe the Israelis should have a homeland in or around where they are today.
Yes. Not a Homeland run by psychos who will sacrifice them and us at the drop of a hat to achieve whatever twisted fancy they come up with.
You should watch Alex Jones interview Nick Fuentes from today, expose the plot to cast anyone who might question the validity of “terrorist” attacks following the bombing campaign as a paid actor of Qatar.
Many Treehousers have fallen hook line and sinker for it.
I’m not anti Hebrew. I’m Anti Death Cult.
Avoid war or overwhelmingly intervene so we can go home.

In financial news this morning the BIS (top tier world central bank) is trying to use the congressional bill to approve ‘stablecoins’ to invoke fear into other countries and have them usher in a global CBDC (central bank digital currency) to ‘save the people’ and controlled by them, using their long lusted for ‘unified ledger’, wherein every transaction on the face of the planet by everyone is recorded and analyzed. It would also give them control of all financial resources, enable forced carbon credits, and penalties for not being compliant to their edicts.
The BIS wants central banks to go down the route of tokenised “unified ledger” incorporating central bank reserves, commercial bank deposits and government bonds.
It would mean central bank money remains both the primary means of global payment and that currencies and bonds from around the world could effectively be integrated into the same “programmable platform”.
Tokenisation is aimed at creating a digitalised central bank system that settles payments and securities trades almost instantaneously and more cheaply by cutting the need for certain time consuming checks, as well opening up new functionality.

This was never about Iran and Israel, this has always been about Trump.
Yes these deep state pedo satanists one death and destruction, they feed off it, but this is about getting Trump mired in a heels cape that consumes his Presidency.
This is how they are protecting themselves from being prosecuted for their own crimes against America, Right Mss Lindsay and friends.
Enough with Israel and Ukraine and the deep state. Cut them off , start some protections and arrests here and change the narrative back to saving this country.
Things changing by the literal minute with President Trump doing the play-by-play.
God bless President Trump.🙏
I am disgusted with Bibi.
God bless Israelis, but it is time to remove Neten –yahoo.
Israel needs to be foisted out of our government.
No AIPAC.
No dual citizens in our government.
I am not anti Israel.
I do not like their current leadership.
^^^^THIS^^^^
Thank you for being willing to say hard, but true, things!
One can be a Christian, know and believe the Bible, and still have serious questions and concerns about the current modern day, secular state of Israel and their outsized influence on our government! The two things are NOT mutually exclusive but the name calling of anyone who brings up these issues is over the top, IMHO!
Totally agree. I see so many using holy scripture as the lunch pin for their warped ideas. Saw a post where one of them claimed the Bible says Russia will invade Israel. I am frantically searching my Bible, concordances and study programs to find that verse…
I would assume that they are referring to the prophecies of Ezekiel 38-39, regarding the Battle of Gog and Magog, which some people interpret to include Russia, Iran, and other countries forming an alliance against Israel, just prior to the Second Coming of the LORD. There are many videos/teachings on these passages so I would encourage you to find a pastor or teacher that you trust and look to see what they say about it.
Oh believe me I know all about it. God has blessed my life with many excellent Bible teachers.
Sorry – didn’t realize that your last sentence was being sarcastic! Glad that you have great Bible teachers in your life…many people, unfortunately, do not, and are thus susceptible to being told things that are not factually correct and running with them as if they are indeed Gospel truths!
No worries. My snarks don’t always come thru as I intend!!!! But I am indeed thankful God has keep me away from false/incorrect teaching.
I recommend Richard Jordan, President of Grace School of the Bible and co-pastor of Shorewood Bible Church in Chicago.
He has spent ~3 hours a day reading & studying since Dec. 1962
There are thousands of hours of video bible messages by him, both on church websites & YouTube.
I don’t have time to find ones that pertain to this topic now, I have to go out.
He also has radio & TV programs, “Message of Grace” airs on public access channels and “Forgotten Truths” on some satellite programs.
One of his teaching aids:

In this case, a picture is worth more than 10,000 words to explain things.
Don’t bother. Your looking for Gog & Magog.
But Moscow is NOT due north of Jerusalem.
ALL the end time events occur in the middle east.
Notice we are not in the picture, despite the prophecy preachers.
The prophetic program has stopped during the dispensation of grace. It will resume after the Lord returns in the air
1 Thessalonians 4:17 KJV
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
(not setting foot on the earth)
Ephesians 3:2-6 KJV
If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward: [3] How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words, [4] Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)
[5] Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit; [6] That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:
https://clearspringsbiblechurch.org/dispensational-chart/
Yes, I know all about it. I was pointing out the fallacy of the warped ideas. Not a fan of the KJV onlyists either.
Because it appears you’re quite biblically illiterate and have never learned what the modern names are (for the Ezekiel 38 countries). “Magog” is clearly understood by biblical scholars to be Russia. Search all you want to find the name “Russia”, it will be a waste of your time. Instead, time spent researching Magog” will be better spent.
Frankly, you’re quite rude, Mr. Vulgarian – which is understandable given your lack of understanding of Ezekiel 39 & 39. I’m still waiting for you to enlighten me on your knowledge of those chapters…
Whatever fight you came looking for you are barking up the wrong tree.
Welcome to moderation Keynote Speaker. May I refer you to the Treehouse Comment Guidelines…

Charles Manson allegedly taught his followers that they were the reincarnation of the original Christians, and that the establishment could be characterized as the Romans.
Just sayin.
.
You do remember that his beloved brother was killed rescuing hostages from terrorists in Entebbe, right? Perhaps this colors his point of view.
.
And Israel no doubt received intel regarding the manner in which that pour Israeli woman met her death – the one who happened to have been in a medical ward when the rescue occurred and was left behind.
Dora Bloch was removed from the plane and sent to hospital. She was later murdered by Ugandans on Amin’s orders.
This WAS a precision mission; Mrs Bloch was not just left behind. Amin could have freed her later, as she had recovered enough to travel. Instead he decided to kill her.
Looks like Bibi played Trump and the “12 day war” continues.
It’s funny how people believe congress and or POTUS have any leverage with Israel.
A complete “success” would have been “accidentally” dropping one of those bunker busters on Bibi.
That’s pretty despicable
Yeah, cause Israel is so ‘self-sufficient’ from America. Well, let’s prove it. Stop helping Israel as they don’t need our help or support. Make them happy.
We could modernize our schools , repair and upgrade our infrastructure with $3.8 Billion a year we waste on Israel.
Cut em off and let them kill each other off with their own money and weapons.
Mike Johnson opposes bipartisan war powers resolution to authorize Trump’s Iran strikes
Excerpt:
Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) on Monday came out against a bipartisan war powers resolution to prevent U.S. intervention in Iran, a show of support for President Trump as dozens of lawmakers question the weekend strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities.
Reps. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) and Ro Khanna (D-Calif.), a libertarian and progressive pair, introduced a war powers resolution last week that would direct Trump to “terminate the use” of U.S. armed forces from Iran unless Congress authorizes such involvement. Massie said Monday the effort has 57 cosponsors, and he vowed to bring a vote on the legislation.
https://thehill.com/homenews/house/5364733-speaker-johnson-opposes-war-powers/amp
there’s that 57 again……
Certain Congressmen obviously don’t like it when the President acts decisively. They prefer a President like the last ones, who merely mewled around and wrung their hands. (While accepting Nobel Peace Prizes for having done nothing.)
Unfortunately for them Donald Trump did not get the memo so he does not join the play…
The Secretary of Agriculture is Brooke Rawlins. It is Summer barbecue season in the United States. T-Bone steaks are on sale in my local grocery store for $20/pound. At the same time, farm profits for beef growers are at the lowest level in decades.
Probably half of Americans can no longer afford beef. Yet the farmers are going broke raising beef. The problem is well-known, yet no one is bestirred to do anything about it. Of course it is the cost of transportation, as several hundred miles are typically covered, as a cow is transported to a sales yard, then to a slaughterhouse, then to a USDA inspection, then to a cutting/wrapping house, then to distribution warehouses, then finally to your grocery store. And environmental regulations have made transportation by truck increasingly expensive, so the costs must be passed on to the consumer.
Secretary Rawlins should consider licensing independent meat inspectors for our local cities and towns, so local beef can be sold and eaten locally, without needing to be hauled hundreds of miles round trip to get to the store. This would improve the profits of the farmers, and reduce the cost of beef to consumers. Once again, Summer barbecue season could be celebrated with thick, juicy steaks, that ordinary people can afford.
Paul, do not ee that. Quite the opposite. Producers are getting record prices for their meat at sale barns. Even minor breeds are bringing prices they have never seen. One person wrote they had sold by private treaty a cull cow to be beefed for $3800. You think $20 a steak is pricey, at 3800 for an old cull, I do not see many regular folks eating steak in the next few months. Keep in mind that price covers bones and organs and hooves and horns. Unreal.
It’s a consequence of years of price restraint to farmers. So many went out of business, now the market is topsy. The system I described was invented when diesel was $.20/gal.
Uh oh…
They’ve obviously got crap laid out and ready to go
DAYUM!!!
Really good read over at American Greatness by Maureen Steele.

A “must read.”
.
I have no love for FDR and this article made many good points. HOWEVER. Maureen Steele also got some things wrong, and made one incredibly stupid comment that jumped out at me. She wrote:
“…the United States is defined in 28 U.S. Code § 3002(15)(A) as a federal corporation…”
No.
This merely means that in litigation for purposes of the statute, a corporation that is federally chartered and owned by the United States, as well as a particular agency, department, commission, board, other entity, or other instrumentality, stand in on behalf of, i.e. “as” the United States. Failling this, the President would have to be the party in every piece of federal litigation by or against the country.

U.S. President Donald Trump said a ceasefire between Iran and Israel was in effect Tuesday after the deal initially faltered and the American leader expressed deep frustration with both sides.
Israel had earlier accused Iran of launching missiles into its airspace after the truce was supposed to take effect and the Israeli finance minister vowed “Tehran will tremble.”
Iran’s military denied firing on Israel, state media reported — but explosions boomed and sirens sounded across northern Israel midmorning, and an Israeli military official said two Iranian missiles were intercepted.
Trump told reporters at the White House before departing for a NATO summit that in his view, both sides had violated the nascent agreement. He had particularly strong words for Israel, a close ally, while suggesting Iran may have fired on the country by mistake.
But later he said the deal was saved.
“ISRAEL is not going to attack Iran. All planes will turn around and head home, while doing a friendly “Plane Wave” to Iran. Nobody will be hurt, the Ceasefire is in effect!” Trump said in his Truth Social post.
Indeed, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office said he held off on tougher strikes against Iran after speaking to Trump.

I frankly believe that Trump is being much too hopeful. Go read your Bible. What are the “chronology” sections utterly full of? You got it: “endless war.” Even, yes, genocide. Kings existed to start wars, which Israel either won (“found favor in the eyes of the LORD”), or lost (“did evil in the sight of the LORD”). Almost(!) every single one of them did this constantly.

“Z” is not “the Ukranian President” any more – hasn’t been for about a year now – and nothing that he says is worth believing. He is simply a puppet of European powers who thought that they could bulldoze Russia by proxy. It amazes me that the man is still alive, because history books tell me that he should have been taken out long ago. Someone must still be hopefully protecting him.
“He warns Ukraine isn’t just facing Russia — but also North Korea, Iran, and Chinese defense companies.”

“Dear Mr. President:
My name is Gary Berntsen, a retired CIA Senior Operations Officer and former Chief of Station. I’ve had the privilege of leading a dedicated team of whistleblowers who have uncovered critical information about the 2020 election fraud, which we’ve shared with the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI). Additionally, I provided the first reports on the dangerous Tren de Aragua gang to U.S. law enforcement and have contributed to some of the largest money laundering investigations ever submitted to the U.S. government.
A key component of proof of the 2020 election theft is about to be squandered.
I’m reaching out because we need your leadership to address an urgent matter to protect our nation’s security. The DOJ is about to lose critical testimony from a witness willing to cooperate in investigations of election fraud, espionage, and Tren de Aragua. Instead of seeking this testimony and a trove of supporting documents, the DOJ is putting this witness on trial next week on a decade-old drug trafficking charge….”

Where’s our crackerjack FBI? Can’t they find Nellie Ohr? If they can round up the thousand of J6ers certaintly they can round up Nellie Ohr? Or can they?
PDJT will tells in his book that he erred bigly in picking Bondi and Patel for their posts.
More likely President Trump is strategically choosing his battles.
It’s not like he can never replace those who disappoint him. But first he must deal with CONgress.
We are just five months into President Trump’s four year term. And look all of his accomplishments thus far while all these shiftless CONgress critters are otherwise engaged.
I’d wager he will have them all right where he wants them before he drops that hammer.
FBI? Is that some kind of a law enforcement agency? Is it suppose to investigate and gather evidence for prosecutions? Maybe someone could notify the head of the FBI? Anyone know who that is?

Fake news media cares more about Trump dropping the F-bomb than Biden letting 20 million illegals walk over our border for 4 straight years.
Agree. Have they been listening to the protesters?
Here’s an idea that hasn’t been asked on account of it’s incendiary nature but I will go ahead and pull the pin on it anyway, since an organic Regime Change in Iran is the most preferable option to foster a more open and functioning Society not bound to constant Ethno-Religious Warfare, would it not stand to reason that a parallel organic Regime Change in Israel might be the Ultimate Caveat to a lasting Peace in The Middle East?
Your Bible will tell you that these people have been continuously at war with each other for thousands of years. None of this will end with the bombing of a nuclear installation. Trump will soon see the error of his ways.
When does it end? People married their relatives in the Bible. We (most of us) don’t do that anymore.
No Mike, the President knows that he cannot control the future, he can only create the conditions for peace in this current time.
Only if Israel turned to Mohammedanism
No. My Israeli extended family have had a bellyful of Netanyahu for many moons. It’s my understanding that his popularity hovers around that of Biden at the “peak” of his “Presidency”.. Israel just launched more bombing raids as we type..

🚨 RFK Jr. Just Blasted Congressman Pallone into the Stratosphere for being owned by Big Pharma
It was so harsh, they had to cut him off and refrain from speaking.

Since then, you’ve accepted $2M from pharmaceutical companies, more than any other member of this committee.”

So it’s true our Representatives can be bought off by lobbyists and Big Pharma!!! I’m shocked I tell you I’m shocked!!! Money changes everything and them that have gets!!! JMO
Minor aside that drives me nuts. Every Big Pharma TV commerical has all the actors every one of them in it smiling like crazy!!! The patient and friends in the commerical are the happiest people on earth!!! The crazied smiles belie the small print on the screed listing the potential side effects including death!!! All of it is sickening!!!
I believe only USA and New Zealand allow pharmaceutical advertisements in the mainstream media. Big pHarma’s advertising dollars comprise some 40 percent of network revenues.
That buys a LOT of influence, as networks who dare to allow ‘real’ news to filter through could potentially lose big time in their bottom line.
Just a reminder:

As many people do, over time,
they revise their opinion (s).
p.s.
during the 2015 / 16 primaries, many people altered their point of view, whom they supported over time…as the pool of candidates got smaller…
Nothing new
[ except the dem ’16 primaries were a ruse, a coronation via contrived ‘super’ delegates ]
hint:
not that one can rely upon ‘polls’,
but what ‘poll’ has ever stayed the same, over time?
(polls supposedly reflect peoples opinions, unless the someone’s thumb is on the poll result – which the pollster might not disclose. )

The Art of the Deal is not just the deal itself. The art comes in as good faith negotiations, the spirit of the deal. If either party is found to have broken the deal or was negotiating in bad faith, it empowers the good faith party to take other actions.
You can see how the first ceasefire violation got on President Trumps nerves with his F-word comment. In the context of politics this is one of the reasons Trump is where he is. He has a deep antipathy towards the establishment behavior that is blindly accepted by too many. And he wants it changed.

Maybe Pakistan can start by returning all of the money they stole at the Roosevelt Hotel for housing illegal aliens.
Ironic, the one thing they wanted Trump to do, defy the SC, they’ve been forced to do themselves, because the Lawfare strategy has not been as effective as hoped, even worse, revealing and counter-productive.
Agree. Rebellion.
I don’t usually use AI but every search engine query on a Federal Judge defying the Supreme court brings back result that try to say President Trump defied the Supreme court which is an outright lie. So I gave AI a chance:
Has an overruled Federal District Judge that has been overturned by the Supreme Court ever defied the Supreme court and reinstated the decision they were overruled on?
In the U.S. judicial system, once the Supreme Court has issued a ruling, lower courts, including federal district judges, are generally required to follow that ruling. A federal district judge does not have the authority to defy a Supreme Court decision or reinstate a decision that has been overturned by the Supreme Court.
If a district court judge were to attempt to reinstate a ruling that the Supreme Court has overturned, such an action would likely be met with immediate legal challenges and could result in contempt of court proceedings. The principle of judicial hierarchy dictates that the Supreme Court’s interpretations of the law are binding on all lower courts.
There have been instances where lower courts have issued rulings that seem to challenge or go against the spirit of a Supreme Court decision, but these cases typically involve new legal arguments or different factual circumstances rather than a direct defiance of a Supreme Court ruling. If a lower court disagrees with a Supreme Court decision, the proper course of action is to appeal to the Supreme Court for clarification or reconsideration, rather than to ignore the ruling.
In summary, while lower courts can issue rulings that may seem contrary to Supreme Court decisions, they cannot legally reinstate a decision that has been explicitly overturned by the Supreme Court. – GPT-4o mini
Can someone explain what the role/authority of senate parliamentarian, Elizabeth MacDonough, is? According to http://www.senate.gov : In 1789 the Senate passed a resolution to allow the secretary to hire a “principal clerk.” This principal clerk, or chief clerk, for many years served primarily as a reading clerk on the Senate floor. By 1850 the secretary was assisted by the principal clerk plus an executive clerk, legislative clerks, engrossing clerks, an account clerk, and messengers. When the official reporters of debate were established in 1873, the office was placed under the jurisdiction of the secretary. When journal clerk Charles Watkins dedicated himself to recording Senate precedents, he was given the additional title of parliamentarian in 1935. The positions of journal clerk and parliamentarian were made distinct just a few years later in 1938.
It seems to be a giant leap from recording Senate precedents to determining what is allowed to remain in a bill to be voted on.
Is the Parliamentarian infallible?
She should be ignored.
And replaced.
Europe’s Contempt for Big U.S. Business Is Rooted In Envy
Excerpt:
Key takeaways from Draghi’s revealing remarks and the statistics include the following.
First, the European Union needs to re-evaluate its use of numerous laws targeted towards U.S. companies, like the Digital Markets Act and Digital Services Act. The laws have become forms of taxation and tariffs in sectors where the EU does not have comparable rivals….
……Second, Federal Trade Commission (FTC) Chairman Andrew Ferguson made timely and important remarks to EU regulators at a May 7 speech in Scotland. He reminded them of the findings of the Draghi report, the dangers of overregulation, and its expansion into competition law.
