Good “late” afternoon Betsy. You have again provided us with some great “Caturday” images. I’m late responding as I helped my neighbor this am, along with his grand daughter gather up his red potatoes from his garden. Was pretty hungry and tired so ate and took a nap. I plan to wash them off later and take the smaller ones and make some potato salad.
Kittens on Thursday evening began to play with some balls with bells in them, a rolly polly thing with feather on each end and a stuffed mouse with a feather for a tail and my toes. They are all using the litter box now and are eating their and their mom’s food while she eats. Gave up on keeping them from behind the washer and dryer. I just continue to count heads when I go in there. I am considering possibly keeping one of the boys, as he runs along with Percy, to greet me when I go in. I’ve got to think on it though.

I don’t know why it should surprise me, but it sometimes does that there is such kinship in people’s shared experiences and ponderings.
A long time ago, I heard a plausible explanation of our perception regarding the seeming acceleration of time.
Time is relative. At ahem’ 75 y/o, a week is a much smaller percentage of your life than at say, 15. Essentially, our subconscious recognizes that and assigns it less prominence. I’m probably not explaining that adequately, but it made sense to me at the time.
I will say that sleeplessness surely makes the night seem verrry long!
I think that’s what makes us throughout these branches, we who are more or less permanent residents here and know one another by our hearts and not our faces, so companionable, Corny.
Older, wiser, and carrying the scars of our individual life experiences. Some of those are visible, many are not but are all the same. And that makes us all the same in one way or another. Very bonding. Only those d’un certain âge fully understand it.

I first learned about “duende” from flamenco musicians themselves. They would be be the first to admit that the mysterious spirit that appears in their well-played performances is inherently mysterious. I also think that “duende” can appear in other musical mediums—as it does in these wonderful compositions that Karlijn and the Siccas guys share with us. Fully agree with “exquisite”.

Israel Update:
-We got a massive missile barrage that made it through in Haifa. Some three badly injured, a few moderate and overall 55 injured. A tremendous damage. It was aimed at a high rise municipality of Haifa and landed just by another building that by a miracle was empty. Remember the hit the previous day at the Hospital that was vacated the day before?
Thanks God. There was also a hit at the south and they used again a Cluster Bomb. Those use a head that splits to some 26 separate smaller warhead, each less deadly but covers a large area and causes a lot of destruction. Overall it was a barrage of 25-30 missiles.
They damages a mosque in Haifa that is a historic site and injured some Muslims and the Imam. Later there were another barrage of 5 missiles that were intercepted.
-Three waves of attacks in Iran. A lot of work on their missile storages and launchers in a few areas of Iran, Shiraz at the south, Tibriz at the north, Teheran and a couple of other two cities.
Dozens of Surface to surface missies were destroyed.
-Iran’s Foreign Minister is expected to go and meet Putin.
-Iranian TV broadcast an Israeli attack in Iran, muted it and presented it as an Iranian attack on Israel. They muted it because the talk was clearly Iranian. So low.
-Something is going on in North and South Gaza. A lot of bombings going on.
-Leader of Hezbollah made a statement about helping Iran. Our Defense Minister immediately said that “It looks like he didn’t learn the lesson of his predecessor and if they get involved we will finish with Hezbollah once and for all.” Today the IDF attacked Hezbollah weapon storages in South Lebanon. Note: They are trying to establish in South Lebanon again against the agreement.
-I saw a detailed report about Iran now working in Syria to arm the people loyal to the old regime. Conditioning their help in attacking Israel too. Remember we have soldiers in Syria holding a buffer zone. By the way many of the drone interceptions are done in Syrian airspace.
-High ranking Iranian: “We are arranging for a war that will take years”.
-A targeted assassination in Iran. We don’t know who yet. An apartment got hit.
-The Israeli goals of Operation Rising Lion are exposed and there is a surprise.
The 4 war goals of the war with Iran that were approved by the Israeli cabinet last week are:
1. Significant damage to the nuclear program
2. Significant damage to the missile program
3. Attacking the Shiite axis
4. Creating the conditions for the long-term thwarting of the nuclear and missile programs through diplomatic means.
Note: There are interpretations to number four, It could mean a regime change (By the way a “Regime Change” is not a bad thing when you deal with Nazis, just saying).
Or it could also mean a long negotiation phase under fire to make them agree to not produce long range missiles nor a nuclear program. For that they will need to see a situation in Iran that is not sustainable at all. They can sustain long wars, it has to be a deeper war that threaten a complete crush of the regime.
-Israeli Chief of Staff talked to the nation. It was all good until he said to “prepare that it will take a while longer”. No definition of how long? Israel can’t dive into a long war like this one.
-From top Commanders to the Prime Minster I am hearing that the war is exceeding expectations and more was done ahead of schedule than planned. When Bibi was asked how come it’s so effective with Iran and so bad in Gaza he said “the hostages”. IE If nor for the hostages that war would have been over long ago.
-Head of the IAF (Air Force) mentioned that a big trigger to the operation was that they had a serious program to manufacture 8,000 ballistic missiles. That would have the potential damage of two nuclear bombs.
-Iranian Foreign Minister in talks with France, Germany, UK said :
No negotiations until Israel stops fire.
No stop to enriching uranium.
No restrictions on their Missile program.
No stop to funding terror groups.
Note: They need a “tighter noose”. You realize that they are at our mercy?
We could potentially take out their oil fields, communications, power, water, mail, airports, roads, etc…. We control the air. This is all leverage for step four of the goals of the war.
This is how I understand the reason why it was not done yet.
Note: Europe is standing with Trump against any enrichment in Iran. Iranian Missiles can reach most of Europe already.
-5.22 string Earthquake with the center very close to Fordo nuclear site. Apparently it’s not that unusual there. Not a nuclear experiment. A signal from God?
-Another nuclear scientist was assassinated in Teheran at his home.
-The head of Hamas Finances in Gaza was assassinated.
-Aircraft Carrier Nimitz is scheduled to arrive to the area this weekend.
-Tulsi Gabbard tweets to clarify any misunderstanding:
“The dishonest media is intentionally taking my testimony out of context and spreading fake news as a way to manufacture division. America has Intelligence that Iran is at a point that it can produce a nuclear weapon within weeks to months, if they decided to finalize the assembly. President Trump has been clear that can’t happen and I agree.”
Note: Last that I touched on the subject of her, it seems that I was wrong and it created a reaction. As I said, I don’t know about her much. I will not refer to her but to the subject matter. Iran used the strategy of building everything for the bomb without actually giving the clear final order to assemble one (which could have changed if you look at how they accelerated the program in recent months). This is called “Nuclear threshold”.
Once they have everything ready and give the order then you can’t stop them without an immediate Military action. As Trump said, they sit on one of the world’s largest oil assets so their nuclear program doesn’t make sense aside for military use.
Anyone who is in denial is either stupid or simply hates Israel and wants its destruction.
-I put together a video that I will post later here. It is remarkable, you see IDF soldiers sitting in Israel and controlling long range drones and just hunt those missile launchers one by one. Many just before they launched. A complete Air superiority.
-A report that the US is gong to send to Israel another THAAD missile defense battery for a case they the war lasts longer and there is scarcity of interceptors. Also another ship t the area just for helping defending the Israeli population.
-A report that Mr. Witkoff was in communication with the Iranians all along.
-5 more missiles towards central Israel.
Summary of the situation: A lot is depending on Trump. As of now, the statement of
“I will decide within two weeks” still stands. But there was a report that he is inclined to strike Fordo even this weekend.
Opinion: Trump does not afraid, it’s not in his DNA.
Trump is not uncertain as to the Intentions of Iran. He has a very high capability to see Evil and not close his eyes. He is not blind to the state of mind of the Iranians and knows that they will not surrender their nuclear ambitions and other evil projects and activities.
He tried to talk to their reason for a long time and by now he knows what he is dealing with.
Trump is not a “pacifist”, “an Isolationist” or a “trigger happy” person.
He loves Israel and its people and proved it over decades.
Conclusions: He knows what he is going to do and all this added time is acting in the best interest of the USA because: More time equals less missiles and less risk to American forces in the region. He is getting the US forces better prepared and moving forces as needed.
He will have the moral high as he is giving an open door for a peaceful solution. This is also good for his base who will see that he didn’t rush and was not being dragged in by elements that are trigger happy. His ambiguity is a smart military strategy to keep the element of surprise available. There are newer reports that “he decided”. I think the decision was already made before. We shall see. It could be any moment.
May God give wisdom to Trump and Bibi and bless Israel and the USA.
Regarding the war goals, Trump’s declaration, “Unconditional surrender, ” takes them up a notch. Significant damage is not the same as eliminate. The nuclear and missile programs must be eliminated. As for the regime, at the end of WWII, the emperor of Japan was allowed to be a not so powerful figurehead. An 86 year old could have a lifetime title with no actual authority provided he has to sign an Unconditional surrender. Iran (Persia) needs to be reintegrated into civilization.

Probably they don’t think that they have the capability to do “a complete elimination”. You are right. Iran is not in the condition of Japan. They are not going to surrender. But after their nuclear and missile industries are gone I think they may agree to a ceasefire if they see that we are serious and may wipe out their economy and infrastructure unless they cut a deal.

Good morning/ Got our electrical service back.
I felt under the weather all day yesterday. So after an early dinner I changed into my sleepers and went right to bed at 17:00 and was out in no time.
I woke up at 21:15 and something seemed different but I couldn’t put my finger on it. Got up and quickly realized I didn’t hear the generator.
Went in the sun room and saw that the lights were on in Steve’s barn.
Prior to this outage the GENERAC had only run under load for 4 1/2 hours during a previous outage. Now after this outage that apparently lasted around 50 hours it is well broken in and I know the foundation I built for it using 16″ x 16″ pavers 3″ thick with Flex Seal caulk as grout works just fine.
The steady green light on it that indicates that it is on standby and all systems are go.
When it is running and everything is good the green light blinks.
If there is some problem that needs addressed but will not stop it from running while it’s on standby the light will be yellow. If it running it will be green above and yellow below.
If there is some problem that will stop it from functioning a red light appears.
It has an oil level sensor that will automatically shut it down if the level gets too low.
It’s controls and monitoring system has WIFI and I have an app on my phone so I can monitor it remotely. That app will alert me if there is some problem or when regular maintenance is needed.
After I had the thing totally installed I had a certified technician from a GENERAC dealer in Indy come out and check it all out. When he had done that and said it all looked great I asked him to show me how to get hooked up with the phone app. He said they don’t do that and he wasn’t capable of doing so and suggested I call the company to walk me through it.
Corbin, my oldest granddaughter is the one that set up the WIFI link and app for me. It was beyond my ability to do so. It even took her an hour to get it hooked up. GENERAC needs to make the feature much easier to get set up.
Now I need to get my chainsaw running and start zipping up that tree that fell in my yard.

I’m still taking 60 mg. of Ivermectin, 200 mg, of Mebendazole, and 200 mg. of Magnesium Glycinate, 5 days a week. Will keep that up until Sept. when my prostate cancer will be re-evaluated. If at that time after taking that protocol for 8 months there is no lowering of my PSA then I’m looking at going the surgical route. Perhaps a new procedure done through the scope that just removes the cancer and not the whole prostate.

It just gradually climbed over a period of 9 months. Last time in March PSA was unchanged. Considered lower end of stage II. Out of 10 needles shot into my prostate for the biopsy, only one had a cancerous cells. That was sent to a lab in California where they did a DNA analysis and deemed the cancer to be moderately aggressive form of cancer.
So the bottom line is I am retaining and urinating just fine. I have a moderately aggressive cancer but it had not grown in 6 months.
Thus I have hope that the Ivermectin protocol is working. Will be going back in early Sept to see where I stand.

There were a couple of really big a powerful tornadoes up in ND yesterday. We will have to wait and see if we have finally broken the 11 year EF-5 drought. This is the Spiritwood tornado.
Decades ago, when I lived in Fargo, my family and I survived a big tornado… I recall driving through the area and surveying all of the damage. Amazingly powerful storms, I am one of those rare individuals who has the “trifecta” of weather. I have personally been in a tornado, a hurricane (N.C.) and several earthquakes. I know California has the reputation of being “earthquake central”, but they occur all over the continent. Now I live close to a major fault line which is “overdue”… the New Madras fault along the Mississippi River

The cat’s name was Chester, and he was given the pen name F.D.C. Willard, which stood for Felix Domesticus, Chester. Willard was also the name of Chester’s father. The paper was about atomic behavior at different temperatures, and it was published in Physical Review Letters, a prestigious physics journal.
Chester’s co-authorship was revealed when Hetherington sent some signed copies of the paper to his friends and colleagues, and included the cat’s paw prints as his signature. The story became widely known and amused many people in the scientific community. Chester even published another paper as the sole author in 1980, in a French popular science magazine. Dave was cutting the hay field behind the back grass field yesterday. During a typical year he gets two cuttings from that field, once he got three. It looks like he may get a third cutting this year. The field is owned by his daughter and her husband. She is a vet.
They have chickens, peacocks, a horse and two donkeys, a dog and some cats. They get what hay the need out of the field and sell the rest.
Dave doesn’t do the rolls. He does the old fashioned bales and what the kids need is stored in their barn loft.
We always know when some coyotes are around their place because the donkeys and peacocks start raising hell.

“The apostle shows his authority, and asserts his right to be maintained. (1-14) He waved this part of his Christian liberty, for the good of others. (15-23) He did all this, with care and diligence, in view of an unfading crown.” (24-27)
(24-27) “The apostle compares himself to the racers and combatants in the Isthmian games, well known by the Corinthians. But in the Christian race all may run so as to obtain. PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.
