Multiple media reports are now outlining the movement of U.S. B-2 Stealth Bombers amid the possibility of strikes targeting Iranian nuclear facilities. However, despite what many media outlets might narrate, there is no way to determine the intent of the movements until some type of action actually takes place. It is all supposition.
The media are giddy with excitement.
Daily Mail – Deadly stealth bombers, which only the US has in their arsenal, are on their way to a US Air Force base in Guam amid growing tensions with Iran, according to reports.
Six B-2 stealth bombers, docked at Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri, appeared to be on the move on Saturday morning, according to Fox News.
The bombers are said to have been refueled, which means they could have launched without full tanks due to the extraordinarily heavy bunker-buster bombs.
The B-2 is capable of carrying a 30,000-pound bomb, which experts have concluded could be the only way to destroy Iran’s most heavily fortified nuclear site, Fordo.
The bomb, known as the GBU-57 or the Massive Ordinance Penetrator, is something only the US military possesses.
The Fordo fuel enrichment plant is buried deep within a mountain system in Iran, but experts don’t know exactly how deep, which complicates a potential US mission to neutralize it. (read more)
A more pragmatic perspective would be the proactive movement of the resources closer to the region in order to give President Trump the option to use them. With this level of widespread media discussion, there may be just an intent to stir the psychology of the adversary.

The Trump Administration is intentionally making the movements of US military nuclear carrier groups and B-2 bombers known for deterrence purposes. This strategy is meant to provide a two-week window for either the Iranian people to overthrow their government or for a surrender agreement to be reached.
What we are observing is not simply a matter of buying time; the situation is much more complex than that.

That “bunker buster” has relatively low depth penetration. Under 200 ft.
Man-made mining shafts routinely drop down over half a mile (2,500 ft). Many are over a mile down (5,000 ft). And a handful are over 2 miles down (10,500 ft).
These MOPs won’t reach these serious underground depths.
Those depths require strategic-level nuclear devices to reach with vaporization and blast effects. Or boots on the ground.
Hopefully, PDJT can see through the fog of capability bravado that is being pumped around everywhere these days.
This point is why those discussing it are saying it would require at least ten of them, not just one big one, to reach the necessary depth.
And that’s assuming all ten of them wouldn’t themselves first be blown out of the sky.

#1 Bunker busters can not destroy the actual important parts of Fordow because the blast radius of the bomb is only 30 meters. The underground complex is huge and the chances of hitting the important parts is tiny.
#2 The Pentagon estimates they would have to drop 10 bunker busters on the same spot even to get to the correct depth. We don’t have enough bunker busters to blow up different parts of the Fordow complex.
#3 The fissile material would not be in Fordow. The Iranians would have that stored somewhere else.
#4 The Iranians have already tested a missile on a profile that is designed to produce an EMP. The target of an EMP would be the USA, not Israel.
#5 The Paki’s or NORKs could supply a bomb and missile. Iran would be a proxy actor, just like Ukraine and Viet Nam were proxies. Iran has a nuke program because Russia and/or China allow Iran to have a program.

If that continues, at some point Israeli troops will be able to walk into Iran’s nuclear facilities and destroy them from the inside.
