I’m going to disagree with how this is described, but not really disagree with the main conclusion. It’s as Christopher Wray said, it’s an ideology not an organization. I think he was telling some truth to deceive with that statement. I think Antifa is a loose network of professional agitators, some going back to Occupy Wall Street or further, with useful idiot followers. I also don’t think Antifa is their only banner, they’d show up to an SEIU event, a BLM march, etc. They aren’t like the Proud Boys or the Oath Keepers in the sense there is a formal leader and organization and there’s some exclusivity to membership. We know that there are crowd leaders and even legal teams organized for this stuff. I think there are mid-level people that get funding to organize, and they use social media to manipulate useful idiots (X, Bluesky, Reddit, Discord), where they aren’t paying them outright and or bussing them in. That money likely comes from or through Dem Soc donors, likely even foreigners, for any rent a mob cause. Because I don’t think this caste of freaks and weirdos has a grass roots origin.

The next question to ask is, what “service” is Antifa providing?
I can think of two:
1) They can create distraction to keep other stories out of the news, and
2) they can devalue specific real estate in commercial or urban areas. (Why were black businesses targeted during BLM riots? It had to be location because it wasn’t race.)
The need to slip something past the news reports can happen at any time.
But who is it that needs to purchase burned out urban real estate at depressed prices… and, in order to build or relocate what? Is the gov’t planning to build data centers in large cities? Are these areas needed to provide secret access points to large, underground facilities? Or is it simply providing political favor$ to big donors?
