After reading the details of this arrest involving the smuggling of biological Roundworms, parasitic nematodes that can infect humans and animals, I am definitely adding Ivermectin and fenbendazole to the crisis kit.
Last week, two Chinese nationals were charged with allegedly smuggling into the U.S. a fungus called “Fusarium graminearum, which scientific literature classifies as a potential agroterrorism weapon. This week another Chinese national was arrested for smuggling in biological material containing Roundworms. Both the fungi and the Roundworm material can target and impact the U.S. agriculture sector, i.e. food supply.
DETROIT – Chengxuan HAN, a citizen of the People’s Republic of China (PRC), was arrested and charged in a criminal complaint with smuggling goods into the United States and false statements, announced United States Attorney Jerome F. Gorgon, Jr.
Gorgon was joined in the announcement by Special Agent in Charge Cheyvoryea Gibson, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Detroit Division, Acting Director of Field Operations John Nowak, U.S. Customs and Border Protection and Jared Murphey, acting Special Agent in Charge, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), Detroit field office.
According to the complaint, Han is a citizen of the PRC who is currently pursuing a Ph.D. from the College of Life Science and Technology in the Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) in Wuhan, PRC. In 2024 and 2025, Han sent four packages to the United States from the PRC containing concealed biological material. These packages were addressed to individuals associated with a laboratory at the University of Michigan. On June 8, 2025, Han arrived at the Detroit Metropolitan Airport on a J1 visa.
Customs and Border Protection officers conducted an inspection of Han, during which Han made false statements about the packages and the biological materials she had previously shipped to the United States. CBP officers also found that the content of Han’s electronic device had been deleted three days prior to her arrival in the United States. At the conclusion of the border inspection, Han was interviewed by agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation and ICE HSI. During this interview, Han admitted to sending the packages, admitted that the packages contained biological material related to round worms, and admitted to making false statements to the CBP officers during her inspection.

In the early 90s US Customs began to turn away from enforcement. I watched it happen. When I started, Reagan was president and Von Robb was commissioner. They wanted us to seize drugs and other contraband. It was our responsibility. Many big FBI, DEA, etc cases started with something a Customs Inspector found. Many of us showed up early to work in those days. We had important work to do.

It all depends upon what interests you. Most people will spend a lot of their free time researching something that is interesting or important for them.
I’ve got a library of articles, sis, by doctors and researchers I’ve come to trust over the past terrible Covid years. Bryan Ardis is has spoken out extensively about Ivermectin and the bioweapon’s “recipe”. His was a name I know very well.
But as fate (or not) would have it, what I posted about nicotine I came across in a short video while I was grazing through some comments on another site.
(He’s not the only one by the way to draw attention to nicotine and its curative or health potential for many things.)
In fact, I must tell you that a lot of links full of information I find in the comments on articles elsewhere, Zerohedge being especially rich in pickings.
UCSF was researching the nicotine angle with Alzheimer’s around 20 years ago when we were in their research program. My mom had been a smoker in her young years in the 30’s through 60’s and the team was researching that use, and cessation, as it related to her dementia.
I haven’t kept up with the topic as other life priorities took precedence. They did autopsy her brain after she died and shared the results with other research facilities. I encouraged others to participate in research programs for their loved ones to better understand the disease process. Hopefully it has helped.

My father, a surgeon, was a two pack a day man. His father had Parkinson’s. When the Surgeon General said smoking causes cancer (back in the day) he gave up cold turkey. Later he developed Parkinson’s as well.
Interestingly a paper I read documented how after everyone quit smoking the incidences of Parkinson’s increased dramatically. It makes sense that suddenly, relatively speaking, so did dementia and Alzheimer’s.
Same situation as with the low fat/no fat hype when prescriptions for antidepressants rose through the roof.

Confucius Institutes should be forbidden. Almost all students/scholars in them are CCP designates and everything they learn goes right back to the CCP.
These are not “educational” programs the way we would think of them. The CCP has a project called The Hundred Years Marathon, which started in 1949 and was intended to be a period during which China would overtake the US as the world hegemon. In a book I recently read on the subject, by Michael Pillsbury, it appears China is ahead of their planning. So the Confucius Institutes serve as “education” for the CCP. That means a way for them to steal US technology secrets.
No Communist nation can overtake the US unless they steal information. Capitalism is essentially about communication of information: knowledge and power. Communist nations do not have the ability to inspire independent thought, nor individual enterprise, at least not for any extended period of time, because central power is too important for them. The more power a central government has, the less power any individuals have to become entrepreneurs.
That is why all university programs, including the Confucius Institutes that involve Chinese students from the PRC should be investigated for espionage. Universities have been shielding these espionage programs for decades, thinking this is all good for “democracy” and “diversity “of views. They should be tried and then sentenced to death. No different than the Rosenbergs. When you commit a crime that endangers the lives of an entire nation then capital punishment is warranted. This is very simple. No need for grand debates. You are pursuing crimes against an entire nations citizenry.
Something was going on at the Peace Arch border crossing from British Columbia into the US last week.
A four hour plus wait with three lanes merging and one booth open.
There were times it seemed the border was, in fact, closed.
Many were out of our cars and no one in a lifetime of crossing had encountered anything like this.
Later, upon speaking with others who came across on different days than me, we all encountered the same thing.
People were puzzled. We knew about the 12 countries that were not allowed into the US but it still seemed “off.”
The barricades were different too once you came through the booth.
Each barricade was painted orange but they were placed so you couldn’t even go 1/2 mph and figure out your route.
At one point I motioned with my finger to border patrol and he nodded back that that particular route was okay.
We are living in some VERY strange times.
I was absolutely flabbergasted today when I was in Walmart looking for some insect repellent to see “Ivermectin Lotion”. Pricey at $28.00. But I have to wonder if we aren’t edging towards removing the absurd demon inspired witch hunt against oral Ivermectin.
Arkansas and Tennessee allow OTC sales. Here in Texas discussions are ongoing in our legislature to approve the same. But our legislature is wicked and obstructionist as far as helping our citizens out. So I am not holding my breath.
Just think….
The Biden government did all it could to demonize Ivermectin while doing absolutely nothing to stop fentanyl.
You are not allowed to ship it to California that is how awful they are in that state.

Stop and search everything and everyone coming into the U.S. I don’t care about travel and shipping disruptions. Better that than an on purpose disaster of some sort.

It simply astounds me the depths of the stupidity America has gone with respect to the Chinese.
We allow them to buy thousands of acres of our prime farmland within spitting distance of our military installations.
We allow hundreds of thousands of their so-called students and researchers in to attend our elite (and not so elite) universities.
We allow and encourage thousands of them to start and operate numerous and sundry businesses in America, some and/or most of which are directly tied to dual use surveillance technology.
It’s mind blowing. Imagine what you would face if you tried to do any of these things in China. You’d be arrested and shot (disappeared) on the spot.
