Seriously? I’m a stickler for grammar myself. All I saw were sentences uncapitalized and other nitpickery unrelated to his well articulated and grammatically correct message. I don’t comment much here, mostly just read the comments (uh oh, I just committed a grammatical offense); but that sort of criticism is over the top silliness. We’re speaking here, not composing theses.
I agree, there is never 100% on anything. If 95% is going well and 5% is not so great, then that would be considered a win and a good situation.
We don’t have to like or know every move PDJT makes, or that must meet our approval. I’ll take the good with the bad as long as the corpus of actions are toward a win win. The fighting in the ranks is just boiling over tension and stress, just like normal people. Some is justified, some is not, but it happens everyday to millions of people in everyday life.

Actually, the Speaker of the House is not constitutionally required to be a member of the house. It is only by tradition that it has been so up to this point.
The Constitution is silent on that question, saying simply, “The House of Representatives shall chuse (sic) their Speaker and other Officers.”
The Clerk of the House agrees with the office of the House Historian, which says the speaker “has always been (but is not required to be) a House Member.”

Yesterday, I read an article about Trump refusing to name a friend of Elon Musk to a space position. The subject being considered was found to be deep in with several Democrats. Sum total is that Musk did not like his associate being turned down for the position and Trump did not budge. I haven’t read this story anywhere else.
The day I’ll know the wheels have fallen off is when Steven Miller resigns. Until then, I know President Trump is making the right decisions, and those who come against him don’t have enough patience or are self-interested (or both).

Watched again Rubio’s speech. Two things among several I thought were interesting.
First – The brief yet impactful history lesson speaks volumes to his credibility and critical thinking skills. Clearly, he has considered carefully the situations we face and has reached solid conclusions upon which to formulate policy and execute diplomacy. He’s a bright guy and a quick study.
Second – About halfway through his remarks he used the phrase “new American century” which just happened to be his 2016 campaign theme. I always liked that theme, but in 2016 Rubio did not build it out in a serious way for reasons we all know. That deficiency appears resolved. He’s definitely running in 2028, and he’ll be the anti-DeSantis.

On a smaller note, I think our president needs these events to recharge his batteries. This kind of outpouring of love and affection keeps him strong to get up and enter the fray. Other our prayers and our God keeping him safe, he needs these boosts to his inner warrior. It is amazing how the people I thought would fail have become the best arrows in his quiver.
I remember SD articles during the election regarding Thiels connection to Vance. I didn’t want him as VP. I’m wondering now after the Musk/Trump spat if Vance is with the tech bros or is he caught in the middle and needs to pick a side? He certainly didn’t straight forward back Trump. What happens if Trump starts to see the agenda of these tech guys that formerly were against him? I also can’t forget Rubio’s past.

These riots are quite serious (recall Dems used escalated Floyd riots to make sure the public was sick of the chaos and wanted a “steady old hand” like Biden. The rest is history).
