Phone calls from the Tesla Board, Peter Thiel and especially Larry Ellison, tend to change things.
Remember, Bill Ackman is the billionaire who constructed the SPARC (special purpose acquisition rights company) to save Elon Musk and Twitter financially, before Larry Ellison (Oracle) stepped in.
Elon Musk also walked back from his threat to decommission the Dragon spacecraft {link}.
Sea Island hit the MAGA anvil, but it didn’t split.
They’ll be back.

Trump, White House aides signal a possible détente with Musk
https://www.politico.com/news/2025/06/05/trump-white-house-aides-signal-a-possible-detente-with-musk-00391502
Musk ‘specifically’ naming Vance to ‘take over’ Trump’s seat is the most vexing part of all this hullabaloo to me.
The Uniparty’s plan all along has been to get rid of Trump and put in Vance?? Elon doesn’t do ‘slip of the tongue’………
Detente to get ‘their’ way; Trump has been the target from day one; getting his real financial objectives stopped is and always has been their objective; even starting WWlll was in the plans!
The next CR is due 9/2025?? If Trump gets the Big Beautiful passed; the next step will be to absolutely get a BUDGET and end CRs! Elimination of departments financings will end departments. Now Trump has announced EVs will never be mandated for Our use the ‘green deal’ will fall face down. Especially if Trumps plans for farming and ranching hit the road running.
God Help US
Epstein’s list is gonna be like Russiagates pee story for impeachment?? AND Vance is gonna be the Pence of that story??
JD likely be saying, “Whoa there Elon. Don’t be dragging me into this.”
Vice-President Vance needs to have ALREADY publicly stated he is behind the President 100%.
Once your name is uttered in the manner Musk mentioned it – as another commenter said,
Silence is no longer an option.
Vice-President Vance:
Don’t be a DeSantis – and hide in a bunker for a week, quieter than a church mouse 🐭
The longer you wait to reply… the larger the number of people who will rightfully doubt your commitment to the President and our system of government.
You have reached high into the political stratosphere at a remarkably young age.
Richard Nixon also became VP at age 39… but never ever left the impression that anyone other than the President was the ultimate authority.
Every minute you wait – makes it more likely you’re sticking your finger in the air, to tell which way the wind blows.
That ain’t leadership.
That’s followership.
Today, June 6th, marks the 81st anniversary of D-Day.
Dwight David Eisenhower faced the most crucial decision of his life – and was fully prepared to take responsibility for the invasion, if it failed.
What other president, other than our first, ever faced such critical moments before becoming president?
Be like Washington, be like Eisenhower,
And take responsibility for the great trust the President has handed you, and the opportunity to serve the American people.
Speak out now… or forever hold your peace.
I never read Politico, it’s trash.
Steve Bannon on Elon Musk’s Big Breakup: ‘Told You’
https://www.politico.com/news/magazine/2025/06/05/steve-bannon-trump-musk-rachael-bade-00391135
Bannon reads SD.
You don’t have to invite wolves to dinner if you feed them.
“I warned you.”
what does this clip you posted have to do with Bannon? You don’t think it’s possible that SD and Bannon shared the same view of Musk?
Bannon has MuskDerangementSyndrome and he can’t see thru his envy-jealousy.
Theatrics.
Musk was being sarcastic when he threatened to decommission the Dragon Spacecraft.
His sarcasm was in response to Trumps tweet that the government should stop helping fund the Dragon.
So Musk isn’t walking back anything
Trump has walked back his threat.
This media storm is all about nothing.
Trump needs Musk, and Musk needs Trump .
And both of them know it.
The problem is that Trumps BIG BAD BILL is not fixing the errors that Musk EXPOSED VIA DOGE.
Musk feels betrayed by Trump.
So he complains.
Trump hears the complaints and feels betrayed by Musk.
Every parent sees this kind of disagreement every day.
It is called SIBLING RIVALRY
Trump and Musk will “make up”, and Trump will be more forcedul toward the Senate to improve the BILL to meet a level that is acceptable to Musk.
STOP THE MUSK HATE.
WE THE PEOPLE need Musk.
And Trump.
The whole situation is childish.
Sometimes truth comes out in a childish rant; it’s gonna be hard for Elon to swallow calling for Trump’s impeachment with insinuation of a scandal in Epstein’s list against Trump, AND calling for Vance to ‘take over’………..
Childish yes, but does Elon see it as the ‘by any means necessary’ to get what he want’s??
Musk read “The Art of the Deal” and is using Trumps own methods against him
Bannon used to work for Trump and was banished
Then Trump and Bannon made up, and Bannon is back.
Trump and Musk need each other, and will resolve their differences.
We are less than 6 months into Trumps 4 year term.
Trump will NEED Musk many more times in the future.
Both Trump and Musk know this.
I must admit that all the Musk hate is bewildering.
I have been on this site for many years, and have come to the conclusion that there is such a thing as “Musk Derangement Syndrome”, and many here have it.
I do not have either TDS, or MDS.
I have MAGA and a sense of humor.
Somebody didn’t taste any of his words before he spit them out.
if you read enough it takes 60 votes in the senate to fulfill any of musk’s findings of waste.not going to happen.thats where the rescission comes in to take care of some of it.
No it doesn’t.
It takes 51.
However, I recall one of President Trump ‘s team saying the dodge cuts couldn’t be included in this BBB. I can’t recall the reason.
That aside, the fact us whether it is a perfect idea or not, this is how the team choose to do it. That’s good enough for me because Vought, Miller, and President Trump have already proved to me they are the most competent people to handle these problems.
At some point people need to recognize that back seat driving is a waste of everyone’s time. And in case you don’t know, we have no time left to right this failing ship..
Something else to keep in mind is that if President Trump has some blips along the way, he will fix them. Why? Because he is committed to saving the country and will do whatever it takes.
Pray for our President. He faces immense challenges.
You said it takes 51,then said dodge cuts can’t be in bill. this is not a budget bill, that comes aug/sept.resission is the vehicle for trumps cuts, pbs,& his other ideas.my info comes from Miller & treasury sect.
why do we need musk.. and if you need him, thats no different then the issue we are trying to address via tarriffs (our dependency on others).
Musk has a use. its over. We could care less about fantasies of money being saved. absolutely insane to think DC will ever yield to a population that will take everything.
Our only weapon and tool is President Trump. weaking him in any form is a shot on us.
we picked a loud, big ego, money man. because his profile is the only one that is guaranteed to fight, get attacked for it, and need our large numbers to keep them off of him. mutual interest organically aligned that cant be broken.
Must doesn’t understand how sausage is made in Washington.
The best bill possible IS NOT the best possible bill.
Calling for Vance to ‘take over’ was Elon’s biggest blunder in his plot to usher in the NWO via the US’s bankruptcy!
Trump’s Big Beautiful is the stepping stone to solvency. prosperity, and independence; a step to far for the Uniparty’s plan for the NWO……….a budget that will rid US of departments and personnel, ALL legal, above board, voted on after full disclosure of a BUDGET written by representatives and not corporation lawyers. So easy seventh graders will understand it because it will be a constitution aligned budget.
The military will be funded; LGBTQA+ will not be! ALL commerce will be budget restricted!
God Help US
Sorry Musk let slip his true intentions IMHO; Vance will serve the UNIPARTY better than Trump that’s what he said. And he’s willing to use Epstein’s list to bring another ‘Russiagate’ pee story for impeachment!!
The bill can’t fix that.
You don’t get 100 senators and 435 congressmen and the US Treasury AND THE CITIZENS OF THE UNITED STATES to go from eating at Michelin restaurants to eating at greasy spoons overnight.
Most voting age Americans have no idea what self-reliance is. They have no idea what the term “small government” even means because they weren’t raised with small government.
https://www.whitehouse.gov/articles/2025/06/50-wins-in-the-one-big-beautiful-bill/
Let’s say they make up. Does Musk supporting the bill make it more or less likely to pass with whatever changes the senate makes?
Yes, has for years when Elon didn’t get the US funding, he went to China, and Bannon has hated him ever since.
Sounds like a good reason to hate him and not merely jealousy.
Spoken like a good Obamaista.
Nobody likes an “I told you so” seeking attention. Bannon is out and will stay out. Wait for the TRUMP-MUSK reunion to appear. It won’ be long.
Clearly the massive successful transformative effort of Elon to expose the millions of cheating democrats and rinosand their lawyers is now KNOWN TO ALL. The people will not stand for any corrupt.democrat in power for quite some time.. Picture a living body infested with maggots undermining our country. THAT is the Democrat Party desperate to get back in power to restart their destructive corruption and the road to bankruptcy.
Elon reminds me of the young Autistic kid in the movie, The Accountant. Unless he can finish whatever he started, no matter how trivial, he throws a completely out of proportion fit.
I gave him the benefit of the doubt on H1B visas since I thought he was excited and getting over his skis and not knowing how politics works, or the sentiment of so many people affected by them.
I appreciated what he was uncovering and putting into place a system to stop the fraud and outright theft.
Today was the last straw. Complaining about the BBB seemed to be frustration with Congress, but then he went so far off the deep end today throwing nuclear bombs that it is clear he has no business anywhere near President Trump again.
The left has been attacking him and his companies, so the smart thing to do is to make himself a target of BOTH sides? The intelligent thing to do is to attack the President as a pedophile? Attack his family?
All he did was give significant ammunition to anyone against what he has done with DOGE, and distract the President who will also be in the line of fire.
He needs to step back from everything and hope he hasn’t completely ruined his life over a tantrum.
These swings of his are signs of substance abuse, especially given the fact he had a moment of clarity at the end of the same day.
I agree. But this is fundamentally much more than dope.
Howard Hughes crashed into the same abyss. It’s a very good example and warning.
In my experience, weed doesn’t do this to people and there’s no way Elon would’ve achieved his success if he was a major stoner. Maybe coke, but I don’t think this is a substance abuse issue.
I believe Musk is autistic, has a VERY big ego and probably isn’t used to not getting his way (and as much as I love Trump, he can be vicious when someone crosses him, which Elon did with his harsh criticism of the BBB).
From the start, I had a hunch this relationship was going to end ugly, just didn’t know when. I hope they patch things up for the good of the country.
I believe he’s a closet D; or a full member of the UNIPARTY to have it both ways. But a government stooge all the way. He definitely is not for the people; a necessary component of MAGA.
‘By any means necessary’ to be rich, powerful, and hold a wrench that can be thrown into the works at any time to get where he wants to be.
Trump is MAGA to the bone; he identified with US, the Tea Party. Unfortunately Musk isn’t for ‘the People’ true Red,White, and Blue. He’s more ‘blue-blooded’ thinking.
According to this SD post, the clarity came from Ellison.
It’s also an attribute of someone with autism. High functioning autistic individuals still have autistic tendencies; tantrums are one. I have a very very hight functional autistic 28 year old; emotions are worn as suits, all of them: fear, anger, happiness, sadness, anxiety, etc.
Making excuses for Elon Musk’s behavior is counterproductive. He belongs nowhere near President Trump!
IMHO, what he has done is actually shown his purpose and allegiance (big tech/surveillance, etc.). Whether he ‘steps back’ or not, he has shown you his underlying intentions. Prior to his instructions from Ellison/Ackman, Musk was very willing to fracture MAGA. Remember that.
Absolutely!!! never forget. Treepers won’t.
Trump won’t forget.
Trump never forgets.
Damn Straight. Ol’ Goofy’s Affluenza jumped the gun.
Well said!
Elon’s flaws are showing. He threw red meat to the demonRats which is unforgivable. That damage is irreversible.

It’s possible to acknowledge all of this (and other un-flattering observations) – yet forget that Musk has shareholders to attend to. I’m not arguing that this justifies how he misplayed his hand. Only that no analysis I have read hits this mark.
Musk has done his shareholders no favors. And that is his own doing. An unforced error.
I suspect President Trump has more interest in saving the country and putting us on a path of economic security than giving Tesla a undeserved hand out.
These two agendas are mutually exclusive.
I know which I agree with and it’s not servicing elons for profit ev experiment. Which still does not satisfy fundamental economic and efficiency arguments …it’s been a major complaint of mine for years that few want to actually examine total cost of ownership, insurance and maintenance costs. Nor do most want to objectively examine the impact on the grid and environment nor the obvious safety issues be it self driving madness or the fire risks that are ever present and will only get worse over time with aging lithium ion systems
It all looks good at a glance but when you still down there are no advantages over classic ICE vehicles.
God Bless America
All due respect that is an exaggeration.
I don’t think people appreciate what is going on with SpaceX and space generally.
I also disagree with your dichotomy – mutually exclusive. That’s not what the entire Dealmaker edifice rests upon – that’s for sure logically and in practice. Direct subsidies are what they are. One argues, case by case, whether they are merited or not. National Security considerations have economic consequences but are also not uniquely economic decisions – you don’t think many defense acquisition contracts have, errrr, subsidies built into them? Take the total contract price, for example, and how all the “inflation” and “uncertainty” variables are built into the long-run cost estimates part of all of this. There’s a lot of “experience” based fat added into all of it. I’ve “been there (contract review teams), seen that” as well as fought the battles on building these contract creatures. It’s how it all works.
Nothing is ever what it seems.
I was one of those shareholders.
Until this morning.
That is your right!
I was deprived of that ownership right IRT a Russian equity I owned by team Biden. The status has not changed under PDJT.
Spot on with the autistic likening, spot on.
Yes commonsense does not appeal to the masses. When bankruptcy is the alternative listen to tales of the big rock candy mountain. This is why 49% of the population has an IQ below average. And when the musical chairs ends and its time to pay the piper because the dollar is worth less than toilet paper because our jesters like to call truth sayers are telling us the Emperor has no clothes on but rather is having a tantrum we will have:
1-Weimar Republic when the DM went from 4 to a dollar to 100 million t a dollar in a year
2-Zimbawe-which went to 1 trillion to a dollar to a point it became toilet paper
3-In 15 years the Venezuelan Bolivar went from 4 million= 1 million USD to won’t buy a cup of cofee
4.1788 France where the French currency was so debauched it led to the Revolution
5-1947 Hungary where their currency was so devalued it also because toilet paper
I remember when toy could buy a gallon of gas for $25 cents. A MacDonalds Big Mac for 78 cents a slice of pizza for 15 cents. When the minimum wage was $1.15. Our debt will take over 30,000 years to pay off if we paid it off at the rate of a million dollars every minute. But our idiots here are throwing tantrums because they don’t want to hear the truth.
I pity the future serfs who inherit this country. I do not what it will be but it will not be the country I knew. Our clowns and poltroons will insure that because they have Monopoly money and a printing press.
So the alternative is to burn it all down and make things worse faster?
I don’t disagree that this country needs to deal with its debt and spending disasters, but is this bill the place to do that?
Blowing up significant tax cuts and border security will mean we all pay much higher to a government that thinks we need to fund every waking moment of illegal alien criminals brought into this country to make sure we do exactly that.
Well, he does have Asperger’s so let’s keep that in mind about his comments. If you read up about it this all makes sense.
Elon could focus on moving past electric vehicles and develop a truly new power source that is cheap and plentiful. If anybody can do it it’s him.
hat you are witnessing is atypical behaviour of an autistic person. I would not read anything other than that into it!
I would tend to agree but Elon Musk is high functioning/high masking. You would think he couldn’t be in a position like he is without having some coping mechanisms for delayed processing overload; especially publicly. But if you look at it from the outside, the guy doesn’t seem capable of making a stable relationship that would keep him grounded. Even if it is as simple as all that, the stakes are too high to have him near the POTUS like a loose cannon.
If Susie Wiles was doing her job, there’d be a standing order to keep him out of the White House and Mar-a-lago.
Yes but now he has a
key
“…the guy doesn’t seem capable of making a stable relationship that would keep him grounded.”
Well, some of the baby-mamas give him good reviews (rolls eyes).
The Dem politicians are eagerly awaiting the moment they can cozy back up to him (of course).
And then… Repubs stayed up late, last night, feverishly working the phones.
What’s the old saying? “If you want a friend in Washington, get a dog!” (may or may not have been H. Truman’s words).
Sadly, even as talented and successful as Elon is, he sucks at emulating a dog!
Musk is as intelligent as you…
many of us in that situation with those starting off points, could easily navigate engineers and guide it to success.
We have to many fantasies. very few people that recently joined this site even know the host went to DC to talk of the articles written here. thats how silo’s were identified, thats how we learned anything sent to Congress is concerned political and will not get touched (hence we learned to quit calling for investigations in congress)
Thats IQ, that the definition of autistic people are throwing about – a genius basically.

It’s as simple as this… I love Elon and think he’s really smart and really good at things. He misread the room and the love he was getting from the right for the Doge efforts. He WAS loved BECAUSE he embraced 47 and 47 embraced him back. What he’s not understanding is that if you put MAGA in a forced choice position, either 47 or him, he’s NOT going to win.
MAGA is always going to choose 47–and now ELON has damaged himself. He’s going to have to atone for these attacks. He’s burned a lot of goodwill and political capital he built up. Such a shame.
.
Not a very stable genius. 🙂
.
Perfectly stated, outhouse!
I think he’s very stable, but in his world, has never had to deal with as many dumb, totally corrupt phonies as exist in the US Congress. Trump has learned, after his first term, how to work as best as he can with these bottom of the barrel phonies.
Apex frustration.
“…has never had to deal with as many dumb, totally corrupt phonies as exist in the US Congress.”
He looks in the mirror, doesn’t he? He is the most phony of them all!!
He latched onto Trump only after the July shooting, because he knew that the, “Fight, Fight, Fight!” fist-pump-moment had just sealed the win for Trump (although the rest of us were already on board). Musk only hopped on the Trump Train when he was sure that Trump would win! Stating that he won the election FOR Trump was a silly, ego-driven comment, for which Musk should be shamed. Why did Musk try to align with the winner? For his contracts! This is all about his money! It is not at all about his morals, or even the deficit. First, he had to throw a tantrum for the H1B’s, then this!
Therefore, Musk is just as phony –and corrupt as anyone in DC.
more like a spoiled brat
There was a time I worked for a daddy rabbit organization in gov’t cybersecurity. Met many “reformed/notorious”, in the news, hackers who suddenly became gov’t employees and/or advisors. Many of these people had large egos; had committed cyber crimes. The gov’t nevertheless benefitted from their “rebirth”. They simply held a deeper understanding of how things “work” than the bulk of people spading the MIC mines. It’s an old, old theme – see German rocket physicists who crossed the line into NASA; Japanese “scientists” who became advisors on bioweapons.
The ideological prisms some of these relationships are examined through simply break down in reality. Human capital will wend its way through the political sieves. The rewards are quite substantial across the board. There are all sorts of cross-cutting agendas. Vigilance and over-sight are the watch words.
Larger forces are in play. Some nefarious, some very, very beneficial.
Well said!

“It’s a con job.” – 47
Yeah, but I don’t think he will ever be trusted by MAGA again.
I don’t disagree.
That said, the chess pieces are being executed on a board that is much, much larger than the love boat (please excuse the mixed metaphor!).
President Trump is clearly engaged in influencing how the US adapts/responds to the evolving global changes to trade, finance, manufacturing, security, etc., systems. Musk’s companies have a global presence. His thrusts into the bleeding edges of technology are substantive and game changing. There is an odd beauty, at the end of the day, in how respective personal flaws, egos, “human foibles”, areas of greater uncertainty, lend themselves to zigs and zags in this all too human drama.
Anyone who has worked tech transition understands that it is an exceedingly difficult process to predict in respect to ultimate outcomes. I submit the same can be said for these intertwining political/economic change waves we are living through. The folks trying to wargame all of this in order to better understand implications, rationalize resource investments, capture preferred outcomes must be up to their earlobes in challenges.
Sometimes, one has to understand where the sigmas fall – and adjust accordingly – while keeping to one’s fundamental values.
F these Crap Weasels!
Trump gave US ALL free invitations to MAGA.
All we had to do was check the box and return the invitation.
If you recall, Elon refused to RSVP his MAGA invitations for so long, TRUMP made him PURCHASE an invitation to the MAGA Party!
If you think about it, Trump got Elon’s money for nothing. He was gonna win the Presidency anyways and his DOGE for FREE
Elon was never MAGA, he served his purpose but He needs to leave before we have any more Pence like hysterics.

PDJT currently enjoys a razor thin margin in the Senate given the three recidivists. Same holds for different reasons in the House.
At the margins, nothing is a given in all of this. Dealmaker skills are paramount – as is understanding that it is not a zero sum game.

Not sure I agree. This will now get the left howling for the release of the Epstein files, along with us MAGA already howling. It’s a full house now.

Maybe.

lol. Musk is a first class idiot. PDJT just started executing this classic maneuver on Musk , which Musk is extremely vulnerable to.
in fact, no matter what moron strategy Musk and co go for, this will always easily work on Musk.
Also, MAGA has no loyalty to, or support for JD or Musk. As always, all DJT has to do is be done with him, and he goes back to being just another commie liberal who MAGA sees as part of the problem.
Musk is foolish and powerless. The fact he will never accept he is powerless is a huge fatal flaw in him.
PDJT shouldn’t meet with him, announce to the country this is unimportant, let Elon keep ranting and melting down, while as President I have actual important work to do for the country and the world.
Musk has no cards, and he proved that today.

The Prince who establishes himself in a Province whose laws and language differ from those of his own people, ought also to make himself the head and protector of his feebler neighbours, and endeavour to weaken the stronger, and must see that by no accident shall any other stranger as powerful as himself find an entrance there. For it will always happen that some such person will be called in by those of the Province who are discontented either through ambition or fear; as we see of old the Romans brought into Greece by the Aetolians, and in every other country that they entered, invited there by its inhabitants. And the usual course of things is that so soon as a formidable stranger enters a Province, all the weaker powers side with him, moved thereto by the ill-will they bear towards him who has hitherto kept them in subjection. So that in respect of these lesser powers, no trouble is needed to gain them over, for at once, together, and of their own accord, they throw in their lot with the government of the stranger. The new Prince, therefore, has only to see that they do not increase too much in strength, and with his own forces, aided by their good will, can easily subdue any who are powerful, so as to remain supreme in the Province. He who does not manage this matter well, will soon lose whatever he has gained, and while he retains it will find in it endless troubles and annoyances.

Musk blinked first. His name brand now totally destroyed. Some things you can’t walk back. Character is always eventually revealed. And one thing we definitely know about President Trump – he is not for sale and unshakeable in his resolve. Musk on the other hand is a caricature of himself.
I imagine bridges have been burnt. They may appear to get along in the future but, you just can’t take back or undo some things. The level of trust is never the same. The honeymoon is over.
This will be the same as PDJT saying nice things about Ron DeSantis, Mike Walz, Carney from Canada, and President Xi.
They all want MAGA destroyed but PDJT knows not to be aggressively hostile to them.
but, but, but…, the Sea Island Crew still need Elon!
The Tech-Bros. still need Elon!
So many people are calling Elon to re-enter the schmoose game.
Elon’s drugs seem to cause timing issues, which says nothing of his ego and other petty issues.
Poor fella.
The Sea Island and Tech-Bros. groups will find another front piece. Elon has one and done himself. Sundance said it best – They’ll be back.
Americans have short memories and some will forget this before the end of the year. BUT Elon said some pretty vile things that are triggering for MAGA – impeach Trump. IMO I don’t think people will forget that. We have been fighting against people trying to remove Trump for years. I think Musk cut deep with that comment and it will leave a scar. He can’t just say, “Oops, sorry! Friends?”
Think you’re right.
No way to walk back essentially calling Trump a pedo. He did not just cross a line. He launched himself off a cliff. This MAGA voter will never forget.
How about a gesture from President Trump by telling the Republican Senate they need to begin by removing $50 billion pork from the budget with the promise of removing a lot more? This is very small amount but it would signal to Musk and patriotic supporters that he is serious about addressing this problem and with the pressure on Republican politicans at the moment they may concede.
no, President Trump knows what he is doing
he has a long range plan
and I trust it
the people one cannot trust is congress
and anyone else in government who just wants a money grab
as far as Elon goes
don’t most of his wealth come from taxpayer money grabs
to subsidize Tesla, etc.?
Indeed Jean! I totally trust my President. There is no doubt for me his every thought and action is for America and its people. It feels so good to have someone I believe in and know is genuine to the bone.
Both Massie and DeSantis blew it big time.
I’ll take my suspicions about Musk a step further. Do you remember all the questions regarding his purchase of Twitter….why someone of such business acumen would purchase a company with NO profits, that was aligned to government surveillance?? Musk decided to ‘risk’ this financial decision because he was a ‘free speech advocate’??? Twitter had banned many of the people that the government would WANT to surveil. Was the free speech issue and invitation a scheme to get all of those ‘banned’ people back on to Twitter, so the surveillance could be more effective? I wonder. And having initially been banned from Twitter, I decided not to go back to it.
You can dismiss him as autistic or whatever, but the fact is that Musk will say anything to keep his name and his brands in the public eye. Nothing is too outrageous. All he wants is to stir the pot and keep his brand relevant. He’s a typical loudmouth sleaze, which is why the libbie wokesters loved him so much for so many years. If Musk put half as much energy into QC for his cars, he wouldn’t need to stir any pots to get attention.
I dont have a problem with Vance saying “He” leads because Trump IS the leader of MAGA. If Vance had said “WE LEAD” he would have been hit for that. My Problem is where the hell was he all day long, He waited until almost an hour AFTER Musk backed down to make his post. To me that is what exposes him as a plant and not true MAGA
perhaps….but
perhaps Vance was waiting to hear from President Trump
as a good soldier should
Agreed. The inner circle of PDJT’s Cabinet and Team need to keep quiet until they can present a united front.
JD waited until the coast was clear.
I also think Elon didn’t stop with saying, “Impeach Trump.” He could have easily stopped there, instead he continued with, “Replace him with JD Vance.”
I know the VP succeeds the P…but Elon mentioning Vances exposes Vance as the preferred president with the technocrat group. JD was exposed there.
Elon is showing ture color he should be focusing Business instead acting like bunch of radical Democrats and liar mainstream medias.
hey Elon stop acting harsh on our president,He always appreciated of you.
President Trump is caught between principle and being pragmatic. One should not surrender important principles but in life we also have to be pragmatic when we are caught between people with very different views and approaches. We need to convince our opponents but also give them the opportunity to reason through matters and seek to convince us that their approach is better.
On some matters like preserving life we cannot be pragmatic. Take abortion or euthanasia. We can address them both by offering a young pregnant woman options on how to spare the baby and an elderly person struggling with health how to help them cope and medically give them some relief from symptoms.
Consider one of the largest amounts in the budget, military spending. The amount is so huge that it lends itself to fraud and waste. Give them half the allocation with instruction that if they do proper accounting and prove it has been well spent they will get more. Also check if they are not being ripped off by suppliers. Finally, link the salaries of the politicians to their performance when it comes to wise and frugal budgeting. This will give them real incentive.

They will agree to stop the nasty tweets. Trump will never allow Elon to return to the favored position he occupied before the tantrum.
Trump is not stupid. Trump is an alpha male. He is powerful, busy, and determined.
Musk is not an alpha male. He is unstable, genius, wealthy, and powerful.
I am not impressed with all the tech crowd who feel so superior.
Trump will drench some of the fire…he has been doing it for years now. The stamina and courage of Donald J Trump is a blessing.
I will have a hard time forgiving Elon and forgetting all the evil things has written about the American people during other outbursts of insanity. Beware of the rich man’s gifts. Not all gifts are good gifts.
Thank you Sundance.
If the Musk lost all his wealth, who would he be ?
The good thing about being consistently cynical about Musk is I can now sit back and watch the Progs wander around in confusion as they try to figure out whether they should burn their neighbor’s Tesla, get a new pro-Elon bumper sticker, or be angry about government theft of taxpayer money. Or not.
“Don’t blame me I bought this before Elon went crazy” bumper stickers have a hilarious new meaning this week…
This is really weird !
There is an old article in Marie Claire…it’s an excerpt from Musk’s first wife book…it’s an interesting window into Musk personality.
They had 5 boys together. Musk told her if she was his employee he would fire her.
I swear this is a reverse psy op to throw the deep state off. I cannot prove it but this just feels off for me. My tin hat might be off kilter though.
Inspired by POTUS’ order of asylum for the So. African farmers.
The bright team work of DOGE continues to seek out wasteful spending, fraud, abuse of the tax payers funds.
The new leader? It’s o.k. not to know, or be low key / anonymous
yet the assertive internal reporting continues – and the appropriate short and long term fixes are found and resolved ( recissions etc).
Set the goals high and seek truthful, tangible results…
Thank you to DOGE
Trump is going to sue him for billions! And he is going to win! 🙂
That would be great! Clear case of defamation. Where are the receipts Elon?
I posted on X that this thing was a staged event to get the crazies/woke off of Elon’s back, stop burning Teslas etc.Two smart, successful adults don’t act like drunk teens in a food fight.I don’t accept that this was real. Don’t tell me that these two guys have a lack of self-control and are as reactive as ghetto blacks fighting in a fast food restaurant.I don’t buy it. That insane remark from Musk about Trump being in Epstein’s book. If that was the case, the deep state would have impaled him on it and not bothered with the 6 ways from Sunday efforts.
Musk and the reflecting pool…
UPDATE:
Trump says “I won’t be speaking to Elon for awhile.”
The Donald Trump world does not revolve around Elon Musk.
But the world of too many here seem to revolve around Trump.
I’m NOT am unconditional fanboy of Musk. When it comes to Starship, he’s the biggest BS artist I’ve ever seen.
But his own efforts have been the reason for his success more than government subsidies although most recently government contracts have been a huge factor, but that is simply because he provides the best and most reliable launch services for the price. The massively overcharging and inferior legacy aerospace launch providers have been left in the dust.
How Musk made his fortune:
In the 1980s, Musk developed and sold video game software for $500. In 1995, he launched an online city guide platform, Zip2. The startup was so successful that, four years later, Musk sold it for more than $300 million. He reinvested the proceeds in other ventures that have made him even more money.
Musk used some of the money he made from the Zip2 sale to launch X.com [where the X name for Twitter came from – W], an online payment platform. X.com merged with another startup to form PayPal. In 2002, eBay purchased PayPal for $1.5 billion, making Musk, you guessed it, a lot of money!
SpaceX became profitable before Tesla, particularly after securing significant contracts with NASA and launching its Starlink satellite service, which greatly increased its revenue. By 2024, SpaceX’s financial performance had surpassed that of Tesla, making it Musk’s most valuable asset.
When Musk made this exceptionally personal, he lost the right to have a close relationship with President Trump.
If he had stuck to the facts as he sees them, we can debate facts. That is rational. What he did was very irrational. You don’t reward irrational behavior. It’s foolish and dangerous.
Correct if Elon had issues he should have talked to POTUS in private if he wanted to air his greivence with the bill publically.. ok fine. but when saying POTUS should be impeached and replaced with JD then inferring POTUS is a pedo (that is what he was doing with that tweet he stepped over the line. POTUS can;t Trust Elon now that is obvious.. and it puts JD is a bad spot.. because now if the dems do impeach him should they get control in 2026 (which you and I and the whole rest of the world knows i the plan) and JD steps in it will look like this was the plan all along (if it is then they should have kept it quite but now it is out there)
Thinking Musk really hurt himself with his little tantrum. Guess it goes to show, you can have brains but can be brainless. Personally, my opinion of him has changed and it won’t return.
Combine extremely strong obsessive/compulsive tendencies with ancient wisdom (Proverbs 16:18), and this is not at all surprising.
People with extremely strong obsessive/compulsive tendencies can get things done when more normal people cannot. Steve Jobs was another example. They can be very difficult people, and often not as stable as we might expect. The quote from Proverbs is just a perfect example – that was known long ago – how human nature has always – and still does – work. Interestingly, this drives many of the cycles we see in history. The growth phase is followed by the euphoria – which is followed by the destructive phase. Each phase causes the next one. We are seeing, in real time, how this is happening in not only America, but the West in general. As Proverbs indicates – it appears to be inevitable:
“Pride goeth before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall.”
It seems like everyone and their grandmother on this thread is a psychiatrist, psychologist, and or psychoanalyst. Please stop with the Leftist, Communist, Socialist, Marxist, pop psychoanalysis commentary and leave the psychopath Sigmund Freud’s Leftist Satanic mumbo jumbo pseudoscience in the dust bin of history. We will all be better for it.
THANK YOU MAGA! We are stronger than they understand.
I agree 100% with THIS:
Elon Has Always Been The Secret Weapon Behind Trump 2.0 (9:58)

Musk is serious about a balanced budget to save the country and of the $170 billion of cuts found by DOGE, only $9.4 billion have been submitted by the WH for cutting in a rescission bill than might not even pass with only a simple majority required due to RINO support for CIA front groups that incite wars among other nasty things that have also come here via USAID grants to “NGOs” including one run by Soros that, among those other things, obstruct Trump.
So, Musk’s disgusted about accomplishing nothing but hype at the cost of character assassination, death threats, and attacks with major losses against Tesla. I don’t blame him at all. Now it’s just become a stupid food fight between two super-egos that’s thankfully calming down.

…. well, what the sewage plant smells like over on Neyland the morning after a UT home game.
I’m talking about Trump’s “Big Beautiful Bill” which, as is the pattern in DC over the last two decades plus, always has meant the exact opposite of whatever the bill is named.
So serious that he acted like a petulant child because he lost HIS cherished welfare payments (EV). So serious that he went way over the line with his attacks of PDJT. So serious that his main focus was embedding Palantir’s police-state-wares deep into government systems.
He’s not however stupid and knows that there is a tremendous amount that can’t be done by reconciliation bills. If he was truly serious and focused on budget cuts, he wouldn’t have attacked PDJT like a rabid rat, but would have instead focused on helping develop more rescission bills and INCREASING support for them and PDJT instead of trying to tear him down and create fissures.
The blunt truth is that Musk doesn’t give a damn about anything but what makes Musk richer and advances his desired personal goals – ones which are NOT good for the American people.
Is the huge bill that the House passed devoid of waste or sections that are bad for the people? Absolutely not, as has been pointed out repeatedly in the treehouse and elsewhere. However, it contains a large portion of the things that PDJT said he would do and he knows that he has to strike while the iron is still hot and thus must accept some imperfections which he knows can be rectified later. Hopefully the Senate helps trim more fat out of it as they stated is there want.
At the end of the day, even if one were to be blind and believe that Musk is all about what’s best for the nation, it still would NOT be an excuse for his rampage or make said rampage any less of a stupid set of actions.
Total distraction from the President’s MAGA agenda!
Elon, get back on your meds. Having received the big beautiful key to the White House, then turn around like a spilled child and trash someone who was more than accommodating to and praising you and your DOGE team, you moved into egregious behavior.
You owe the President a private apology.
Too little, too late.
This may not end well for Elon if he doesn’t back off and “kiss the ring”. IMO some of his language in the Epstein allegations legally “crossed the line”. It would be a real hoot if Trump ended up owing SpaceX … Make Mars Great Again.
Trump booted Epstein from Mar-a-Lago for hitting on an underage girl. He might chase skirts but not on little girls, he has morals,
I support Musk. He risked everything to better this country. I see Trump back down. What happened to the Social Security tax cuts-gone so the Blue states can get their property tax deductions-so wrong. Work rules for welfare-pffft. Get rid of illegals on welfare-the Demonrats-13 cry babies will die-who cares they survived in their third world dictatorships-send them back. The waste, fraud and mismanagement revealed by Musk-the GOP is silent as a coup goes on by the judiciary. Remember Trump blew it by appointing losers rather than consulting Alito and Thomas. I’d rather have Musk for President than Trump. Must never said “eliminate the debt ceiling.” Do that and the politicians will scuttle this country in record time.
I am not a believer that President Trump would have not won if Ellen didn’t jump on the Trump Train.
Some could argue he won when Bobbie came on board and brought over his voters?
What voters did Elon have to bring to POTUS?
My opinion……… Ellen brought very few if any.
Ellison was Musk’s financial backstop on Twitter. Ellison’s loan prevented X from auguring in. Elon needs to grow up and accept that if Trump had lost last November, this country would be continuing down a very nasty road to complete and utter ruin.
