If this feud results in the BBB getting adjusted to actually have real spending cuts while the tax cuts stay in place, then I stick with my original theory that this entire thing was theatre. You all can say what you want but hear me out first.
Trump has done nothing but praise the bill. A lot of MAGA, me included, have been cringing at this thing because there is a ton of pork. Politicians have been waiting with hungry bellies for this to pass.
The feud between Elon and Trump did the following:
1. Trump gets to maintain clean hands that he supported the original version.
2. Elon was able to pull Democrats out of the woodwork to admit there should be less pork! Ha! Just so they could hate in Trump. They’ll look pretty stupid now if the bill ends up with less pork and Elon is now in support of the bill. What will Chucky say now? Lol.
3. Elon was able to pull the hold out Republicans as well to state what they need to see for them to approve.
4. If the bill is reduced and reconciled, are the already yes Republicans going to pull out now? How stupid would they look AND it looks like even more of a betrayal to trump.
Again this was all done while trump gets to keep his hands clean and not directly oppose the bill in any way.
Or sure yeah, we can instead go with the face value of Elon throwing a poopy pants tantrum and Trump taking the bait. Elon decides to make everyone decide either Trump or sea island and that he miscalculated bigly and is doing an about face because he lost and got a phone call from Thiel to shut up and be a nice guy again.
Of course it’s possible, but I certainly see the hope for a much better bill to be proposed now and everyone is kinda stuck now to either go along with it or look really bad to change their tune.

President Trump has immense confidence in his ability to affect the change he wants to happen. It’s a belief he deserves but he is not right all the time.
As a fundamentally good man, he believes most people are fundamentally good and that isn’t the case, particularly in politics and power.
It’s a source of comfort to me that he welcomes many opposing voices to challenge all sides of issues.
Bannon will staunchly represent the populist view, it just may not align with the direction our president sees our nation going at all times.

It seems to me that, most “people” as per usual get caught up in the hype, or drama of the story-line. To ask the question as to why, what is the motive, where is this going? takes the emphasis off of the story and allows a higher view, like from above the clouds of confusion.
Look at all the ramifications that could potentially come out of a heated argument between a husband and wife debating/arguing what house to buy and where, or I don’t like the way you look this morning. Only to get back and reflect then cozy up and recognise it was all a “storm in a teacup”.
Can one imagine that high profile stakes are seen as a “storm in a teacup”?

We will recognize authentic MAGA patriots by what they are willing to put on the line to save the nation. Those who talk about “Trump’s movement” are not fully aboard. What has to be done to save the Republic requires going all in, committing full effort and risking ALL personal wealth and status.
I’m just disappointed. I really liked Elon. Yes, I was one of the people singing his praises. I’m still grateful to him for all the doge work. He started something that will hopefully keep growing. Maybe swamp creatures will think twice about stealing our tax dollars.
