“Revulsion” is a normal survival mechanism. When subjected to the sight or idea of things that are disgusting, contaminated, or possibly infectious or otherwise harmful, normal people may feel disgust, and want to avoid them.
I would argue that it’s wrong to deny people their normal, natural feelings, their gag reflexes, their nausea when depictions of things that repulse them are shoved in their faces, and demand that they suppress their feelings. That’s not the same as regulating violent or discriminatory reactions.
This is not necessarily about “morality” or religion. Normal people typically don’t have to fight to control homosexual or pedophilic or perverted fetishistic impulses.
It’s popular nowadays to say that disgust can be artificially planted against mere “ideas” by some kind of ostensibly “wrongful” “morality”. Not easily. Revulsion is mostly an instinctive physical reaction, and the “idea” would have to be visualized with particdularity while being associated repeatedly with something else already naturally disgusting. (Much easier to inure a person against the disgust reaction, e.g. medical students getting themselves able to cut up cadavers.)
Revulsion has kept people (also other animals) away from things that are harmful, such as bodily fluids (feces, urine, vomit, mucus, blood, especially of strangers), spoiled food, parasites and parasitic-like animals, and signs of infection as well as mutilated bodies.

What if President Trump and team have been using a Hegelian Dialectic type of operation for Good?
Think about it. All of politics has been distilled down to two sides pro-Trump/pro-MAGA or anti-Trump/anti-MAGA.
We are being forced to choose between two options here, but the choice is not between two bad options. One option is named MAGA and has the words “Make America Great” right in the name. The other option is anti-MAGA (anti-Make America Great).

In response to your comic post about the judges thinking they are kings when ruling on President Trump’s tariffs, here’s an 18 minute segment of Mark Levin’s Saturday night show. President Trump posted this clip a few days ago on his Truth Social. Well worth a listen.
Levin points out that the suit filed with the International Trade Court to stop President Trump’s tariffs was NOT filed by the Legislative Branch. It was filed by a private party. This private party’s argument is that President Trump is overstepping his authority on tariffs. They argue that it’s the Legislative Branch who has authority on tariffs, not the Executive Branch.
Levin asks, if that’s the case then why hasn’t the Legislative Branch filed suit or acted to stop the tariffs?
President Trump is acting in accordance with a 1977 law created by the Legislative Branch. If they are against President Trump’s tariff actions, then they could simply repeal or change the law, but they haven’t.
Levin claims this is a case of Judicial overreach and Judicial tyranny. The Judicial Branch has no authority in this matter.

Yep. Supplements and alternate treatments have their risks too since we are all different and react to those things in different ways, just like with meds.
Having said that, I am much happier taking something that is more recognizable by my body than a man made chemically composed medication. Use supplements and meds cautiously. Prevention, exercise, proper sleep and keeping a healthy diet is the way to go, imo.

Why should some rich old overpaid attorney (for example) be exempted from paying income tax? There are so many 50-somethings who lost everything during Covid, had to start over, and will struggle the rest of their lives getting their heads above water with the crappy jobs that remain. Getting to keep their income tax after they reach 66 and still have to work isn’t going to be much of a treat.
Not only does this idea seem patently unfair, but it’s the kind of thing that gives Boomers a reputation for being selfish and entitled. (Not that that’s fair either, but I think we all know that “boomer” is widely used as a pejorative nowadays.)
I guess because there aren’t that many wealthy old retired attorneys but there are a majority of over 65 still working cause SS does not support them. Especially with Medical cost. Still waiting on those cheap prescription drugs.
There are a LOT of wealthy seniors, and my point was specifically regarding those still pulling in income . IMHO, all seniors should at the very least be comfortable – our nation should have been able to afford to take care of its elderly.

Congress would lose their strangle hold once and for all.

Their loyalty was not in doubt through 11/5/24 – they had proudly help elect President Trump to save the USA … temporarily putting aside their personal and past professional beliefs and associations.
But they are now being torn between President Trump’s MAGA / America First marching orders and their personal beliefs and past support of globalist goals and globalist organizations like big Pharma, big Legal and big War.
They have lost their momentum to continue to support President Trump and in some cases they are making moves to hurt his administration, aka his MAGA / America First supporters……..not good.
President will not throw them under the bus because he knows they were 100% loyal in their job to get him elected.
But, it is unfair to his MAGA / America First supporters and all Americans to have hard core RINOs in key positions in this administration, working against his plans and promises he made to the American citizens during the past 4 years of campaigning.
A solution would be to give them the opportunity to transfer over to his “presidential library team” that will be heavily involved in telling his campaign story and designing his presidential library, but not involved in current administration activities.
They would just be telling the story of the huge victory that they had helped to achieve during his campaign to save the USA, up to 11/5/24.
Of course, some will take the transfer and some will just leave the administration with a well earned recommendation letter from President Trump recognizing their involvement in the successful 2024 campaign.
The time has come to shed the current hard core RINOs from his staff, especially those at a senior level. It is just the right thing to do and time is of the essence.
No hard feelings.

Lately, Angels have been wanting to write/speak here, and I do take down their messages, but I decided not to post them. From what I can see and hear, there are thousands of these Angels that have come to earth and buzzing around, … and when I do GOD Breath, I can feel they are supportive of me doing it.

“Silence” can be very smart. “Z” planned this entire operation for media effect, and in the so-called “negotiations” he immediately shot his wad. He was rewarded with complete silence. And, this silence continues. By remaining publicly silent, they deprive him of what he wanted most. No one lost their temper. No one responded at all. The meeting ended.
In due time, there will of course be a response. But “Z” will not dictate what and when it comes. And he does not know what it will be.

Who needs Democrats when the GOP has adopted most of their policies? We are now trying to pass huge BBB bills that you have to pass to know what is inside and that fund all of Biden’s deficit spending for four years and include all of the graft that DOGE has identified and where extra trillions in debt no longer matter.
The BBB is NOT a budget bill and does not fund any agencies. It is a reconciliation bill.
Next comes the Rescission bills to claw back funds previously appropriated along with some impoundments to NOT spend previously allocated monies.
THEN we get to the actual budget which WILL defund previous funding to various agencies. That happens in September for the October end of year. THIS is where energy should be directed to ensure that the R’s do not resort to more CRs instead of doing their actual job. Frankly, they should already be working on the next budget to ensure it is ready by the time they need to vote on it.
This has been explained multiple times nearly every day…. yet the misinformation persists. I do not understand this at all.
Keep telling yourself that. Pretty soon you may believe it. If no further bills were passed after the BBB is signed the spending will continue at the higher rate and the debt will soon be $42T. So if what you were claiming were true, then simply skip the BBB and pass a budget.

In fact, Brady did not even learn of the existence of the laptop until the New York Post broke the story in October — after Brady’s team had concluded its investigation.

FTA – Interesting FBI Definition of “Minor” Technical Issues in Sentinel Project FBI Accepted Software Despite 82% of Testers Saying It Made Work “Much Harder” Than Current Practice.
What is even more flabbergasting is that the FBI hired MITRE before the Phase 2 Release 4 planned acceptance date to delve into “Sentinel’s software code and related documentation.” The reason for the independent review was Sentinel’s poor performance and usability that had been an on-going problem since at least April 2009.
The MITRE review team, the OIG report said, “… concluded that Lockheed Martin had significantly deviated from accepted systems engineering practices, did not follow its own published documentation requirements, and had not adequately followed testing procedures. According to the team’s report, these deficiencies resulted in over 10,000 inefficiencies [patterns in the software code that may result in decreased performance] in Sentinel’s software code. The team found that while none of the 10,000 inefficiencies dramatically affected Sentinel’s performance, collectively they could diminish Sentinel’s performance.”
By the way, when did the MITRE independent review team deliver its report to the FBI? While not specifically saying so in the OIG report (the report only says that MITRE’s findings were delivered in December), it appears that it was after the FBI had already “conditionally” accepted the Phase 2 Segment 4 release from Lockheed Martin.
“Minor” technical issues, indeed. I would hate to see what the FBI Director (Mueller) thinks are major ones.
