Russia has continued the operation to secure a “buffer zone” between the held regions in the Eastern part of Ukraine and the area west of the Kursk, Bryansk and Belgorod regions. The NATO alliance continues pouring weapons in to support Ukraine defenses, but the Russians are methodically grinding down the Ukrainian military.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy is now saying President Trump’s silence is emboldening the Russian assaults. “Each such terrorist attack by Russia is a sufficient reason for new sanctions against Russia. Russia is dragging out this war and continues to kill every day,” Zelensky said in a post on Telegram Sunday morning. “The world may go on vacation, but the war continues, despite weekends and weekdays. This cannot be ignored. America’s silence, and the silence of others in the world, only encourages Putin,” he continued.
This is an interesting dynamic to continue watching unfold. In the background as Tulsi Gabbard, Marco Rubio and perhaps even John Ratcliffe begin confronting rogue elements within the CIA and pulling them away from covert operation in Ukraine, per the strategic withdrawal of influence announced by President Trump, the position of Zelenskyy could weaken quickly.

We all know the CIA is able to sustain itself outside of the federal budget, so the federal government only has limited authority over them. There may come a point where the rogue elements who refuse to stand down will need to be exposed, so that they can be put down by force. I’m sure Trump would prefer not to do that, but the CIA has merely rolled their eyes and ignored Trump since he took office. They may require a firmer hand in order to bring the agency under federal control once more.

Now when the conflict DOES fail (and it probably will if we extrapolate how it has unfolded so far), it is and will be completely spun by the media as Trumps war.. Trump did not do enough, Trump faltered, Trump abanadoned Ukraine , if only Trump would have increased sanctions earlier, sent MORE money, sent MORE weapons and I do not understand why Trump did not send US boots to help out Ukraine… You get the idea: Its Trumps war.

Trump said he didn’t know about that incident. I’m sure he would have been informed about it by his National Security advisor if it did happen. How do you know it happened except for reporting by the fake news?
I think Putin reasons that Zelensky should have accepted the cease fire, but since he didn’t and won’t, Putin will keep moving to secure the land he claims for Russia. There are consequences for refusing offers of peace. Zelensky is facing the consequences.
Frankly I am surprised by Trump’s recently expressed hostility towards Putin, as it just plays into the globalists’ hands and does their work for them. These are the elites who stand to gain financially from perpetual war and from a destroyed Ukraine that needs to be rebuilt.
It is not as if Trump can just stop the war by saying he wants peace. Putin knows this is a war Trump doesn’t want to support, he knows this is a rogue CIA and rogue EU/UK war. Nevertheless, what options does Putin have at this point? There is no reason for him to stop fighting when he is winning. There would not have been a war had not Ukraine provoked it, with the help of Biden, the neocons, the CIA and the UK and EU. It’s a globalist project that is wiping out an entire generation of young men in Ukraine for financial gain. It doesn’t get uglier than that.

As a person who served, I am apalled by this vile human. The crimes that he has committed against his troops in ordering them into actions that have no chance of success and can only lead to thousands of senseless deaths are beyond every conceivable pale
He kept ordering troops into the Kursk area for 6 and 7 months after the initial surprise attack (which held promise) was completely contained. Even worse, he demanded his troops stay there throughout the winter when the foliage cover had dropped and human thermal signatures increased
Then as his troops suffered from hunger and exposure from lack of re supply, he attempts to resupply on routes that are known to the Russians, leading to tens of thousands of deaths .. on the routes themselves
And Kursk is not a one off. Read up on the Krinkyi Island misadventure .. or the Summer offensive. Bad enough here that the initial execution was botched; that pales next to the crime of repeating the same tactic time and time again

I got a lot of push back on this website when I called Putin a Commie. He was a Commie, is a Commie and will always be a Commie. He is moving forward with his goal to recreate the Soviet Union to it’s past greatness(with some tweaks to it’s economic system). He believes it’s demise in 1989 was the worst thing to happen to his country. It is his legacy. Not the ones influencing it from outside or the history of how it got to this point. I’m interested in learning about the people (generals, politicians, factions etc.) that are currently making things happen or opposing the things happening. Anyone that can point me in the right direction?
