Here is the game plan that the forces against Trump will be using for the foreseeable future.
They will attempt to get you to make the perfect the enemy of the good.
Be it the freedom clowns and spending, the immigration hawks with H1B visas, the peace doves with timing, the cultural warriors with total bans of DEI/CRT, the neocons with war fighting, or the swamp dwellers with draining the swamp.
All of them will attempt to get you to believe on whatever issue is the issue of the day that it doesn’t go far enough or do enough.
They will try to make you think that some sub issue of that issue is more important and should be handled first, that since the issue hasn’t been handled yet it won’t be, that we can’t do more than one thing, that so and so is a plant to stop the draining of the swamp, or that because it wasn’t 100% Trump lied. On every single issue, one or more groups will attempt this strategy.
You can’t allow them that power over you. If Trump secures the border and deports 2 million, don’t allow them to reduce that good by them saying well he didn’t deport 2.5 million, so he failed or lied.
You can’t allow them to use the perfect to void out the good in the coming months.
They will try. They already have with the CR and the H1b visa debates. It works, that is why they use it.
You have to keep it in the front of your head on everything about to occur that half a loaf or hopefully in most cases 7/8ths a loaf is better than no loaf.
President Trump is transparent in his words and actions. He is consistent in what he says, what he does, and what he asks/demands of others. His promises are bold and he keeps them like no other president has. He is making massive, nearly overnight changes, not only in the country, but in the world. It is amazing that he is able to accomplish so much when there are so many snakes in the grass. This term, he is weeding them out faster.
The purpose of President Trump is plainly visible and consistent: He is for the benefit first of the common PEOPLE of this country, then of the PEOPLE in the rest of the world. It is validating, even to our battered conservative skepticism.
The methods of his leadership are amazing. I still don’t get HOW he does it, or HOW he is able to get so much momentum going, but every day the momentum is growing. Everyone and every organization has their eyes opened every day — just by watching him. Even those who hate him, are biased against him, and want to see him gone — cannot ignore him. He lives rent free in their head, and they come around to seeing the universal principles by which he is operating. He hammers actions based on truth from one direction, then another, and they cannot mount an organized opposition against him.
He has chosen to use his intellect and every skill he has to do what is right. He has tremendous faith that he can make a difference in this world. He has a confidence and courage such that he doesn’t care what others think, yet a humility to know he has to do it with the help of like minded people. Those people are the “common” people, and he ridicules those who think they are not common.
He believes people are basically good. He believes that God is real. He believes that healthy people are happy people, and they need to be able to create wealth freely for their labor, and have the freedom to spend their money on what is good for them.
He believes the United States, with its Constitutional Republic, is the best environment in the world to enable and give opportunity for people to be happy and prosperous.
He believes that we can be a light for the world, but we must demand that the rest of the world respect us and our right to life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of happiness.
He believes the enemy of our country are the stupid, greedy American people who have been selfishly taking advantage of this country; who betrayed the trust and obedience of its people; and who diverted the people’s wealth for their own selfish gain, at the expense of the principles of this country. He’s not going to allow that anymore.
He has cultivated and focused the family of MAGA. Identifying those people whose goodness, industriousness, trust, and obedience have been taken advantage of and abused. He has opened our eyes to this abuse, and the rights of freedom and self determination that have been quietly stolen from us.
He has rekindled the healthy distrust of government and men with too much power held by our founders. He has recultivated the desire to reclaim our freedoms and rights, and is empowering us with a hope and pathway to reclaim our spiritual and economic freedom.
He wants the US to be a light of hope on the hill for all people. He will negotiate win/win agreements with those nations and countries who respect us; who respect the principles and intent of our Constitution. If you do not respect us, however, we are not going to let you take advantage of our goodness, or share in our wealth at our expense. If you as a nation are treating your people badly, you are going to be treated less favorably by us, until you show that you value your people as much as we value ours.
He is convincing those who are very wealthy (most of whom truly earned their money), that the best economic soil in which to build wealth is in a constitutional republic, which supports the ability of the common man to earn wealth in proportion to his efforts. The economic engine of the United States is the human spirit freed to enjoy the fruits of honest labor, and that engine has more natural and raw horsepower than any other governed economy.
The Trump Train seems to be remarkably aligned with universal principles of Truth, which reflect the will and design of our Creator, and are the best standard by which we should live. These same principles were what our country’s founders used to declare independence, and framed into the Constitution of this nation.
Our founders believed that a nation should preserve the right and freedom of an individual to seek, understand, and live by God’s principles. They believed that free individuals working together in humility would make a stronger nation than a government which dictates its will on the people. President Trump professes and seeks to lead and restore this nation back to these same principles.
These principles resonate deeply within all human beings, down to our DNA in every cell, in our spirits, and produce fruit that “miraculously” multiplies. Because we follow universal principles, we see the snowballing acceleration of momentum on day 123 of the 2nd term of this very stable genius in the history of the kingdoms of this world in the year of our Lord 2025.

There is confusion among GOP representatives regarding the BBB social security tax “relief” for seniors.
During the one minute speeches, different reps described the relief as a “tax credit” and a “tax deduction.” Big difference. None have used the phrase “tax free.”
It appears the “tax free” promise was compromised to satisfy the deficit hawks.
We’ll see what results when the smoke clears after reconciliation.
A deduction of a proposed $4000 will be of little help for many. Consider that the calculation of taxable SS is based on income (nonSS) plus a percentage of your SS. If you added $4000 of of nonSS income, you just increased the amount of taxable SS effectively increasing the $4000 subject to tax to now include more taxable SS.
If you fall into this scenario thinking you can pick up additional $4000 (take an add’l IRA distribution for instance) and offset it by $4k deduction, it won’t happen if your taxable SS increased.
I am going to do the ‘money in a mattress’ or ‘dig a hole in the back yard’ tactic./s
According to my calculations and research, the $4,000 is an increase in the already increased standard deduction for those taxpayers over age 65. The result is the first $73k of all married filing jointly income would not be subject to federal income tax. This makes Social Security tax free for most recipients. Higher income recipients would have a portion of their social security taxed like it already is taxed but the amount taxed would be less. Taxes collected on Social Security are treated as receipts into the program, this either delays the date for reduction in benefits or reduces the amount of the decrease. Current estimates (without a Trump economic expansion and/or basement dwellers being forced to return to work) are for benefits to be reduced around 2030 by 25% because cumulative benefits paid will have consumed all the taxes paid into the program. I am okay with Buffett, Gates, Trump and others with higher incomes letting granny keep her benefit or as much of it as possible.
Let’s see how fast singular legislation is crafted to eliminate taxation of Social Security. Across the board I might add, no weaseling with means testing and/or caps.
President Trump should counter with an order which fines any lawyer $10000 for filing a false habeas petition.
Why? Because even the Left knows the SCROTUS has no credibility. Actually, it may be they have no standing. Isn’t that rich?
Keep deporting them suddenly and quietly to different countries. The left will not be able to keep up
Deport them. Let the looney left file their cases, and if they somehow win down the road, then tell them to fly them back and house them if they want them. I’m over this crap.

I say we make a holding area out in the desert in Nevada for non-violent criminal illegals. Make them erect their own tents and other facilities and then do the cooking, laundry, etc. Also make them build a runway for the planes that will eventually fly them back home. Treat their labor as the cost of room and board. No cell phone. No TV. No internet. No AC. Immigration hearings are administrative and those hearing them don’t have to be judges. Generate a flow chart for reasonably minded hearing official appointees to follow that allows for no personal interpretation where almost all roads leads to deportation. Then ramp up the number of channels, languages, and images promoting self-deportation. When we get to the “no other crime than illegal entry” groups, deport the productive ones from each country together in large enough batches that they some may band together and be able to create their own safer, free market enclaves in their country of origin.

So, people used to get a Social Security check at the beginning of the month. Then it got changed to the beginning or the fifteenth.
Now it has been changed that different people get checks on different days, for some reason, and by days I mean day of the week, like Thanksgiving is always on a Thursday.
So, what happens if that day of the week is earlier or later in the month? You go longer between checks. That might seem like no biggie to some, but for the people living “paycheck” to paycheck on a pittance, it creates unnecessary hardship.
Whose idea was this? Why was it done, and how did DOGE not notice this?
The change in payment dates from the 3rd of the month for Social Security payments occurred way back in 1997. For claims after the change, checks are delivered based on the individual’s date of birth. For Social Security checks, the schedule is as follows:
First Wednesday of the month: Birth dates on the 1st through 10th
Second Wednesday of the month: Birth dates on the 11th through 20th
Third Wednesday of the month: Birth dates on the 21st through 31st
Supplemental Security Income (SSI) is a federal welfare program administered by the Social Security Administration. It’s a payment fot the aged (65 and over), blind and disabled, including children. I believe those checks are still paid on the 1st day of the month. There are exceptions and payment dates sometimes change if the regular payment date falls on a weekend or holiday.
The spreading out of payments through the month makes sense from a business sense for both government and the private sector. Anybody who tried to transact business in a bank or grocery store on the 3rd day of the month before the change knows what I’m talking about.

I am sure cash flow both in and outside of government had some part in the decision. By dividing it up it provides more continuity in both government and business without all of the ups and downs.
The transaction usually shows up at the bank on Tuesdays for a Wednesday access. There are occasions when you have five weeks between checks instead of four.
I think on holidays it shows up earlier.

Check payments always fall on a Wednesday. Whether it’s the first, second, third, or fourth depends on a person’s birthdate. But it always on a Wednesday.
I have no idea why, but for the past year my bank has credited my SS check payment into my available balance on the previous Saturday (overnight from Friday). It shows as a pending deposit, but is included in the available balance.

The report offers a new snapshot into UnitedHealth’s daily operations at nearly 2,000 nursing homes across the country, where it manages Medicare Advantage coverage for more than 55,000 long-term residents.
