Well, apparently long before the White House announced a historic ‘first ever’ trip to Qatar, the Qatari Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani began telling their lobbyists in DC to reach out to conservative media influencers with lucrative payments to shape a favorable pro-Qatar narrative.

That said, if Qatar had a media strategy to enhance a foreign policy agenda with the Trump administration, well, that wouldn’t be a surprise; it’s just how things are done. However, in the background of the puzzling question about how those decades of conservatives correctly calling out Qatar for corruption, and then suddenly overnight changing direction, well, it appears the Qataris just paid them to change.
THEM: ‘Right’ is whatever I’m paid to support. ‘Wrong” is whatever makes me the most money.

The grief process, inherently, has a beginning, a middle, and an end. Grief is a lasting trauma when its unresolved; zero grief resolution is taught in this society.
I found ways out from under, but unless a person knows to go searching… because one doesn’t realize they’re living under the boot of chronic grief.. or *any unresolved trauma* … one doesn’t find what one isn’t looking for. The trauma-state just becomes one’s “normal”.

Tucker’s dad (RIP) was an alpha fellow. Tucker prolly knows soo many things that he is nervous.

There is something very…different…about his mannerisms. The laugh, the really serious face, the way his voice can go rather high pitched, and all of it in rather rapid succession.
I’ve had conversation with people with social anxiety for various reasons; they will sometimes display this sort of behavior. However, they have been legitimately diagnosed with such issues…and are not media personalities, who should be used to communication since that’s their job…and they don’t come off as odd, perhaps because it is very obvious that they are uncomfortable speaking from the get go.
All of this could of course be nothing, but he did let loose with a fair amount of invective against our President after the 2020 election, and then there was that very bizarre interview with Andrew Tate (of all the people to interview) and the trip to the Russian supermarket (apparently Tucker has never been to an Aldi store).

I’m a heavy smoker as well as an introvert. Nicotine doesn’t make me that anxious; maybe for some teenager sneaking smokes and not used to it, but not a pro with years of usage. Also, I took my public speaking classes very seriously and learned to get over any tics that might come off poorly. I would assume that Carlson is far more experienced at that sort of thing than myself. Besides, he’s always been that way.
I know this to be true from my own experience with addictive people. I think tucker said a few times he had a drinking problem, though I could be wrong, In any case, I have had many people in my life with that very same problem, whether friends, family, etc. their use of this or any substance changes the brain chemistry, and I aint no doctor, but it changes them so much that they are not the person they used to be before all of this behavior. I have noticed that there has been a not-too-subtle but steady effort by some in CTH comments pages for some time now (few years) to smear and discredit Tucker Carlson with accusations like – his being controlled by unnamed “masters”, and/or being a CIA covert disinformation agent, and similar narratives.
While I do not worship the man (nor anyone but the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ), I do find these attempts to undermine Tucker to be off-putting. They also discredit the commenters by demonstrating they have not listened to Tucker’s many interviews wherein his replies, his admissions, his facial expressions and outbursts of laughter clearly reveal his unpretentiousness, and that he is guileless and self-effacing.

My take is that Qatar, like other places, sees the Trump train leaving the station and is desperate to hop on board while there is still a vacant seat. “Hamas? Who? We know of no such persons.” Palestinians in Gaza are about to discover how truly alone they are. Their only chance at any sort of participation in deciding their own future is to begin chasing down and turning in remaining Hamas in Gaza.
That’s a good possibility. Maybe the President is trying, through trade and business, to lure Qatar out of the terror business.

Something like:
“look at all the money you can make, if you take this path. It will be yuge!

Boeing received their largest contract ever (about $100 billion for somewhere around 200 planes), Raytheon will make around $1 billion, General Atomics is looking at $2 billion. There also will be other investments (LNG /energy) and cost sharing deals (Air Base in Qatar).
So, what should PDJT do? Leave the money on the table?
