During some press remarks as he departed the UAE, President Trump was asked about the non-appearance of Russian President Vladimir Putin at the Turkey summit. President Trump noted he did not expect Putin to attend without Trump’s presence at the summit.
When asked when President Trump would be likely to speak in person with President Putin, Trump remarked:

Trump’s favorite emissary, Steve Witkoff, has had several meetings with Putin where the Ukraine was NOT discussed. Video show Mr. Putin giving Mr. Witkoff a very warm and friendly greeting. The cover is that the only way to end hostilities in the Ukraine is for Mr. Trump to meet with Mr. Putin personally. After all the ‘Russia, Russia, Russia’ and ‘Putin Stooge’ the Democrats threw at Trump since 2016, he need this subterfuge to have a face to face with Putin. The real goal of the meeting is to solidify the plan for a normalizing of relation between the US and Russia after 70 years of Cold War. Trump knows America needs Russia as an ally to contain a militarily ever-stronger, expansionist China. Mr. Putin knows many European countries hate him and he is not happy to be forced into an ‘arranged marriage’ with China due to the West’s sanctions so it is possible he could ‘go for it’. It that happens, Europe will be free of the expense of NATO because it will serve no purpose. Trump is bringing wealth and prosperity to any country that rejects funding the war machines.
The President sees that the American Left cabal have begun stonewalling against him again, so he has turned his attention to trying to achieve peace between world nations. The US is becoming a lost cause. When he tries to do good and beneficial things he is blocked, unaccepted and denigrated by the Congress, Media, Judicial System, entrenched bureaucrats, and especially the Supreme Court. Even the former director of the FBLie promoted another assassination attempt along with numerous others, and no real action taken against them. They ignore the Constitution, so our Republic is failing and falling fast.
I have to admit I feel our country is being rather abandoned while he spends so much personal time and effort abroad. That doesn’t mean I don’t appreciate these efforts but am getting impatient on the domestic front.

I don’t see any indication that Zelensky is going to accept any of the Russian demands. IMO Trump has a Zelensky problem and I’m not sure how he’s going to deal with him. Then there’s most of the EU, US neocons, democrats, etc. that want the war to continue and the US to keep funding, arming, and escalating the war…they essentially expect the US to win the war for Ukraine. Trump inherited a mess to say the least.
