When asked by Carlson whether the DOJ is worse than people believe, Martin went further, declaring, “I think it’s worse than incompetence.” “The only way forward is not to describe what I think of the motives but to expose over and over again what’s happened. So many times, I have seen people put their trust in a person, assuming that they are a “good” person, only to have their heart broken and their hopes dashed…I start with the premise that EVERY person I meet is a flawed, fallen human being who may mean well but, in the end, will make mistakes and disappoint me.
Thus far, it hasn’t always been an easy road, but I have yet to meet anyone who has not lived up (or down?) to my expectations and thus, I am able to withstand most of what the world throws at me, simply because I have read the Book and I know how the story will eventually end!

A lot of people are pointing out that Ed Martin will still be able to do what he’s been doing, holding the deep state accountable for its abuses over the past decade. That may well be true. God works in mysterious ways, as they say.
But let’s not pretend this was the plan. The plan was for Martin to become U.S. Attorney for D.C. and spend the next four years cleaning house, going after the Covid cover-up crew, the Russiagate operatives, and everyone in between. That plan was sabotaged by Republican Party elites. Thom Tillis was just the one told to pull the trigger. Next time it’ll be someone else. That’s how these people operate.

A second-edition publication produced by Attorney General Todd Rokita in collaboration with Lieutenant Governor Micah Beckwith — titled the Churches’ Bill of Rights — provides guidance to Hoosiers about the rights and protections afforded to churches and other houses of worship under state and federal laws.
“Religious liberty is guaranteed to all Americans by the U.S. and Indiana constitutions, and we want to ensure Hoosiers understand their rights,” Attorney General Rokita said. “We encourage everyone to be emboldened to practice their faith and participate in civil society to the fullest extent possible.”
The document is written in a question-and-answer format. It covers such topics as the extent to which churches may participate in elections and politics, churches’ tax-exempt status, freedom of worship, protections for church governance and autonomy, and other topics.
“This is a movement in the right direction – one that is long overdue,” Lieutenant Governor Beckwith said. “Deep-rooted faith has long defined our great state, and with the Churches’ Bill of Rights, we are affirming that every Hoosier, every church, temple, synagogue, and faith-based community will stand as an equal and respected partner.
