To be honest, I don’t want him to get any plane from Boeing, because Boeing makes shoddy products these days. This is a company that has gone fully woke, and it’s filled with DEI hires. Trump also appears to think foreign policy is all about making business deals. I’m sure he can make good business deals but is this the same thing as good geostrategic policy? Cozying up to totalitarian tyrants is not a good deal for the human beings enslaved in Qatar nor for Americans who are increasingly concerned about the power and control of the CIA.
In addition Trump is dropping favorable comments about President Erdogan, who has made many genocidal threats to Israel. President Erdogan has a goal of establishing a neo-Ottoman caliphate, and of taking over the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. His support for Achmed al-Sharaa in Syria has gained Erdogan more territory up to the border with Israel.
Once again, Trump ending the Syrian sanctions is a [perverse] reward for genocide which the Al-Sharaa government has committed against his own people. Qatar will be funding the reconstruction of Syria and help pay salaries of the government workers.
I think Trump’s coziness with the leaders of Qatar and with Erdogan, as well as his willingness to “negotiate” with Iran (which is the equivalent of a green light to Iran) are all indications of Trump’s pro-Jihadi and anti-Israel position.

My, perhaps naive, take on Trump’s actions. A strong based good man moves into a village. He meets the other men of the village with respect. The man who formerly lived at that house was weak and so fomented jealousy and discord in the village, caused family against family disputes that erupted frequently into battles. Trump recognizes the good in each family and their need to run their household as they see fit. The other villagers also begin to respect each other without need to be defensive and begin to trade and improve the relations in the village. The village prospers, the men grow stronger with pride of accomplishment, and everyone is at peace because happy strong successful men are gracious confident and proud.
