As far as, you can just use your passport instead of RealID, how many Americans have a passport, and how many Americans can afford to have a passport in addition to their regular driver’s license? You have to have a driver’s license anyway, people will spend the money for the enhanced one to fly, if they don’t plan on leaving the country anyway.
Do people know what a passport costs? They’ve made it more troublesome to get, too.
Online it says that you can pick up the application wherever you can submit the form, but when I asked in the Post Office, they didn’t have any more applications, you had to print one off the computer, and they were told to get rid of all their remaining paper applications.
If you don’t have a printer you have to go to the library or someplace to print it out, even if you fill out the online application.
Another thing, not related to RealID, but the Post Office- I was in one of those places where you can get copiesmade and such, and they have US Post Boxes, and there was a sign up for the PO Box customers that new rules say you have to show two recent form of ID, for the PO Box you’ve had for years.

One of these lawfare victims is Timothy Barton, a Texas businessman and real estate developer who was an outspoken Trump supporter. Barton has been attacked by the DOJ, SEC and unscrupulous judges after reporting subversive CCP-linked behavior to the Department of Homeland Security in 2019 after being ensnared into a real estate scheme under false pretenses.
Barton was the target of a scam hatched by Chinese national Haoqiang Fu, known by the alias Michael Fu. Fu partnered with Steven Wall to get an alleged ponzi scheme going. Wall reached out to Barton to be the independent fee developer for high-profile real estate projects in Texas. This was apparently a shady attempt by Fu at entering the U.S. real estate market and manipulating it for the CCP’s ends.

The project was marred in zoning issues with additional costs racking up. Barton found himself in a quagmire.
Behind the scenes, Fu was orchestrating a massive money laundering scheme. Fu reportedly altered co-lender agreements to reroute repayments to himself while stiffing co-lenders. When Barton became aware of this behavior and Fu’s potential connections to the CCP, he promptly took action. He tipped off Homeland Security, and because he did the right thing, the Trump administration chose not to prosecute Barton as the scandal was discovered.
When the Biden regime took illegitimate power in 2021, suddenly Barton’s patriotic efforts against CCP collusion put a target on his back. The Biden DOJ and SEC largely ignored the scandal of Chinese nationals swallowing up real estate through fraud and instead decided to focus their ire on Barton. Barton became a convenient scapegoat who would allow the malignant Chinese interests in bed with Biden to hide from scrutiny and continue their devious plans.
In 2022, Barton was arrested by federal agents, had his home ransacked by jackbooted FBI officials armed to the teeth, and was embroiled into a lengthy and costly court proceeding. Before taking trial, Barton was essentially deemed guilty by the courts and had his assets taken from him. Asset forfeiture laws typically reserved to major drug criminals were deployed against Barton who lost his home, his business and his personal funds before he was convicted of a crime.
The violation of Barton’s due process is the quintessential federal maneuver to squeeze a man until he breaks. No victims have ever emerged to attest to Barton’s criminal behavior. There have been no audits or any real evidence that show Barton guilty of any wrongdoing. The Biden regime was just exploiting a grueling and biased process in an attempt to get Barton to crack, similar to what they did to Trump himself, in order to make an example of yet another patriot and compel a guilty plea regardless of the facts of the case.
Barton to his great credit is not backing down with his Christian faith being a pillar to his strength during these trying times. He founded JMJ (Jesus, Mary and Joseph) Development over 35 years ago, building immense success and then using that money to fund America First causes. A judge even denied Barton’s request to be able to attend Trump’s inauguration earlier this year, showing how this vendetta is personal….”

In the pictures from the two places where the other two victims were robbed you can see how no one would notice in those close quarters what the guy was doing, but in the Noem robbery, he had to get way over where she was sitting and even from the very blurry images it looks like the people supposedly providing security should have been able to see that the guy was up to no good.

A “Deadly Attack” on the Capitol?
When I hear the word “attack,” I think of weapons, specifically guns, grenades, or missiles that are intended to kill people. For example, when the Pentagon fired a missile at that family in Afghanistan shortly before exiting its 20-year war in that country, I would term that an “attack” — and a “deadly attack” at that, especially given that many innocent people, including children, were killed by that missile.
One of the fascinating aspects of the “attack” on the Capitol is that the “attackers” didn’t have guns. In fact, as far as I know, they didn’t even have any swords. To me, that’s one unusual “attack.” In fact, I’ll bet that there haven’t been many other “attacks” in history in which the “attackers” failed to use weapons to commit their “attack.”
What about words? Yeah, the Capitol “attackers” certainly employed a lot of words during the course of their “attack.” Maybe that is what NPR means when it describes what happened as an “attack” — that the “attackers” were engaged in a “word attack” on the Capitol. Imagine how frightening that “attack” must have been — with “attackers” hitting one victim with some particular word — maybe “Tyrant!” — followed by some other word, perhaps “Thief!”
Now, I think you would agree with me that that would be one scary “attack”!
In fact, it was so scary that one Capitol police officer shot and killed one of the “attackers” because he was so afraid that the “attackers” were coming to get him. He wasn’t the only one who was afraid. Many members of Congress were equally terrified of the Word-Attackers.
Hey, don’t judge these people too harshly. You don’t know how you would react if a bunch of Word-Attackers were coming after you and flinging and hurling nasty words at you.
Another interesting aspect of the NPR news broadcast was the reporter’s reference to the “deadly” attack on the Capitol. Now, when I hear that someone has engaged in a “deadly” attack, I immediately think that the attackers have killed people in the course of their attack.
Yet, here, the “attackers” didn’t kill anyone. Instead, the only person killed was one of the “attackers.” Her name was Ashli Babbitt. She was shot dead by that Capitol policeman who was terrified that Babbitt and the “attackers” were coming to get him and members of Congress. It’s still not clear why he didn’t fire a warning shot over her head. If he had done that, she undoubtedly would have backed off, especially since she was unarmed, well, except for words in her vocabulary.
For a while, the news media was reporting that Capitol police officer Brian Sicknick was beaten to death by the “attackers.” For example, the New York Times reported that he “was overpowered and beaten by rioters from the mob at the Capitol.”
Could that be what NPR is referring to when it cites the “deadly” attack on the Capitol? I don’t think so because as things turned out, what the Times reported about Sicknick turned out to be incorrect. An autopsy revealed that Sicknick died of natural causes, to wit: strokes.
The New York Times also reported that a woman named Rosanne Boyland, who was one of the “attackers,” “appears to have been killed in a crush of fellow rioters during their attempt to fight through a police line.” Alas, what appeared to be true wasn’t. An autopsy revealed that she died of a drug overdose, not trampling.
Two other “attackers” — Kevin Greeson and Benjamin Phillips — died of a heart attack and a stroke. Thus, five people died during the “deadly attack.” One “attacker “was killed by a terrified Capitol police officer. One Capitol police officer and two of the “attackers” died of natural causes. Another “attacker” died of a drug overdose.
Given the nature of those deaths, is it really proper to refer to the “deadly” attack on the Capitol? Doesn’t the use of the term “deadly” imply that the attackers deliberately shot or killed people as part of their “attack”?
Maybe NPR is saying that the words that the “attackers” were employing as weapons caused those people to have heart attacks, strokes, and drug overdoses. Maybe their words are what caused that police officer who killed Ashli Babbitt to become terrified.
Ironically, as far as I know, the Justice Department hasn’t charged any of the January 6 protestors with murder or even a massive conspiracy to initiate a “deadly attack” on the Capitol. What’s up with that?

Uh, yeah. Sure. Here we go, just as I anticipated. Lesson learned over the last four years: when a corporate news reporter engages like this, what is going on is that their editor has told them that before they publish a smear article, they are supposed to get a comment from the target.
At this point, the smear is essentially already written, and this is their lip service effort at “fair and balanced”. You are going to get smeared, whether you answer their questions or not. If you don’t, they will publish that they attempted to get a response, but that you did not reply. If they do get you to reply, they will selectively edit whatever you say to help make their point. These are the rules of today’s “gotcha” version of journalism…”

Enforce anti-monopoly laws on Hallmark.
It’s getting so you can’t buy a greeting card that isn’t theirs, unless you want to pay yuge bucks for artisanal ones; and for all I know they may own those too.
I remember back in the 80s, Being in a Hallmark store and being surprised to see a line of distinctive greeting cards by Blue Mountain Arts.
It turned out they weren’t Blue Mountain Arts’ cards in a Hallmark store, Hallmark stole their designs and put a new name on them.
Blue Mountain Arts had to sue, and it is very expensive for a small business go after a giant corporation.
That’s one reason I like to avoid Hallmark.
I can custom make cards for you C… I’m not buying from corporations either.
I thrift most of the materials – quality is abundant there too – & I only pay ‘the going rates’ for postage stamps – which are selected to match in theme, of course; custom envelopes are optional, I make & decorate those too.
Most people would be happy with a short handwritten note instead – btw.
People don’t receive those much anymore & are pleasantly surprised when they do.
Maker skills are good to have.
