Here is the game plan that the forces against Trump will be using for the foreseeable future.
They will attempt to get you to make the perfect the enemy of the good.
Be it the freedom clowns and spending, the immigration hawks with H1B visas, the peace doves with timing, the cultural warriors with total bans of DEI/CRT, the neocons with war fighting, or the swamp dwellers with draining the swamp.
All of them will attempt to get you to believe on whatever issue is the issue of the day that it doesn’t go far enough or do enough.
They will try to make you think that some sub issue of that issue is more important and should be handled first, that since the issue hasn’t been handled yet it won’t be, that we can’t do more than one thing, that so and so is a plant to stop the draining of the swamp, or that because it wasn’t 100% Trump lied. On every single issue, one or more groups will attempt this strategy.
You can’t allow them that power over you. If Trump secures the border and deports 2 million, don’t allow them to reduce that good by them saying well he didn’t deport 2.5 million, so he failed or lied.
You can’t allow them to use the perfect to void out the good in the coming months.
They will try. They already have with the CR and the H1b visa debates. It works, that is why they use it.
You have to keep it in the front of your head on everything about to occur that half a loaf or hopefully in most cases 7/8ths a loaf is better than no loaf.

President Trump is transparent in his words and actions. He is consistent in what he says, what he does, and what he asks/demands of others. He is making massive, nearly overnight changes, not only in the country, but in the world. It is amazing that he is able to accomplish so much when there are so many snakes in the grass, often seemingly on his own team — but less so this term, and he is weeding them out faster.
The purpose of President Trump is plainly visible despite our battered conservative skepticism: He is for the benefit first of the common PEOPLE of this country, then of the PEOPLE in the rest of the world.
The methods of his leadership are amazing. I still don’t get HOW he does it, or HOW he is able to get so much momentum going, but every day the momentum is growing. Everyone and every organization has their eyes opened every day — just by watching him. Even those who hate him, are biased against him, and want to see him gone — cannot ignore him. He lives rent free in their head, and they come around to seeing the universal principles by which he is operating.
He has chosen to use his intellect and every skill he has to do what is right. He has tremendous faith that he can make a difference in this world. He has a confidence and courage such that he doesn’t care what others think, yet a humility to know he has to do it with the help of like minded people. Those people are the “common” people, and he ridicules those who think they are not common.
He believes people are basically good. He believes that God is real. He believes that healthy people are happy people, and they need to be able to create wealth freely for their labor, and have the freedom to spend their money on what is good for them.
He believes the United States, with its Constitutional Republic, is the best environment in the world to enable and give opportunity for people to be happy and prosperous.
He believes that we can be a light for the world, but we must demand that the rest of the world respect us and our right to life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of happiness.
He believes the enemy of our country are the stupid, greedy American people who have been selfishly taking advantage of this country; who betrayed the trust and obedience of its people; and who diverted the people’s wealth for their own selfish gain, at the expense of the principles of this country. He’s not going to allow that anymore.
He has cultivated and focused the family of MAGA. Identifying those people whose goodness, industriousness, trust, and obedience have been taken advantage of and abused. He has opened our eyes to this abuse, and the rights of freedom and self determination that have been quietly stolen from us.
He has rekindled the healthy distrust of government and men with too much power held by our founders. He has recultivated the desire to reclaim our freedoms and rights, and is empowering us with a hope and pathway to reclaim our spiritual and economic freedom.
He wants the US to be a light of hope on the hill for all people. He will negotiate win/win agreements with those nations and countries who respect us; who respect the principles and intent of our Constitution. If you do not respect us, however, we are not going to let you take advantage of our goodness, or share in our wealth at our expense. If you as a nation are treating your people badly, you are going to be treated less favorably by us, until you show that you value your people as much as we value ours.
He is convincing those who are very wealthy (most of whom truly earned their money), that the best economic soil in which to build wealth is in a constitutional republic, which supports the ability of the common man to earn wealth in proportion to his efforts. The economic engine of the United States is the human spirit freed to enjoy the fruits of honest labor, and that engine has more natural and raw horsepower than any other governed economy.
The Trump Train seems to be remarkably aligned with universal principles of Truth, which reflect the will and design of our Creator, and are the best standard by which we should live. These same principles were what our country’s founders used to declare independence, and framed into the Constitution of this nation.
Our founders believed that a nation should preserve the right and freedom of an individual to seek, understand, and live by God’s principles. They believed that free individuals working together in humility would make a stronger nation than a government which dictates its will on the people. President Trump professes and seeks to lead and restore this nation back to these same principles.
These principles resonate deeply within all human beings, down to our DNA in every cell, in our spirits, and produce fruit that “miraculously” multiplies. Because we follow universal principles, we see the snowballing acceleration of momentum on day 108 of the 2nd term of this very stable genius in the history of the kingdoms of this world in the year of our Lord 2025.

During Trumps first term I remember reading a tweet about some popular pro Trump personality complaining that he was getting death threats . I responded congratulating him and I said I hope one day that I receive threats on my own life but so far no such luck.

– Where are the backups?

Streaming is ruining live sports by chopping teams and seasons up and putting them on competing streaming services. I am not getting subscriptions for Fubo, Peacock, Amazon, Apple and a few others to watch my pro or college team’s season. It is becoming ridiculously expensive. Instead my wife and I along with some neighbors have been attending local highschool games. As seniors they are low cost or often free for us and there is no woke political BS.
We do have Roku and I watch all free content as there is so much of it. I also get Newsmax 2 which is also free and watch Ed Henry every week day night. OAN is always a few days to weeks earlier broadcasts so I don’t watch them very much.

– the current status is that farmers have ONLY BEEN ALLOTED 50% of their contracted water allotment – though they have to pay 100% of the bill
– (sometimes the state adds another 10% in June, but too late to help; farmers have to plan crops, buy seed, etc.)
– massive amounts of water still diverted to the Pacific Ocean, allegedly to help the vanished “Delta smelt” feeder fish
– seal and otter populations have rebounded, along with the imported “strippers” that sport fishermen love
– two possibilities are sheer incompetence, and the need for freshwater to flush pollutants and runoff from the bay from Bay municipalities – who haven’t upgraded their infrastructure
– last I read, state pumps that move the water to storage or Southern California are only operating at 5-10% capacity

Thanks Dixie! I am still recuperating in a long term care facility, the 2nd one., and I was moved twice in each. I have lost a lot of brain cells/memory. I’m struggling on a lot and dealing with a lot. I am 5 9 and was down to 107 lbs, very scary. It has been a hard haul up because the food sux and you have to fight for every crumb and glass of milk.

Yeah we have water every which way here in Florida but it always seems to disappear. We always seem to be in a drought. The lack of freshwater flowing into the Gulf Of America from springs and rivers along The Nature Coast has wrecked one of the most remarkable fisheries in the world.
We have 2 impoundments (dams) in the State and neither are directly used for drinking water or crop irrigation. They do keep the besieged aquifer partially recharged.
Bottom line is we have too many people sucking water out of the ground on a daily basis.

Mornin’ Treeps, I’ve been having my coffee and reading this article this morning, it’s excellent and so needed.
It’s about the incredible terminal rot in corporate America and how this is just really killing us and driving us down the drain as we’re robbed into poverty of the wallet and of the mind.
It’s played perhaps the largest role in what has become a very run-down and dysfunctional declined nation- when looked at on the whole. THAT has then become normalized because it’s been a long slow decline.. AND the very effects of this make what has happened unrecognizable by the dumbed down and demoralized populace.
It’s not good.
Yesterday, on talk radio, Armstrong and Getty I think it was, they were discussing the huge need for Tort Reform, I’ve heard Laura Ingraham say this over and over again since her radio days.. (not a fan of her but she was on the morning lineup before Rush came on).
The Armstrong and Getty guys said that we now live in a world where the kids can’t go outside at school to the playground to play if it’s raining out because of the liability BUT YET they aim to have us in self driving cars -and all that other nonsense that clearly holds incredibly high risk. I won’t even get into what they did to us w the Covid Vaccines..
THIS is what the results of all that corporate rot have created for us.
I believe that it’s points like this that have driven the Trump Administration onto a “Return To Common Sense” agenda.
BUT I don’t think that term is strong enough to tackle the scale of the problem.
I don’t think that the public understands or connects taking on something like Tort Reform as a “Common Sense” situation.
I don’t think that Trump’s return to common sense agenda is being communicated well and pushed to the degree it needs to be.
I don’t think that the public understands that our entire lives have been largely transformed into non-stop struggle to simply exist at this point- because of all this.
We need to openly demand Tort Reform, we need to educate the public about what this is and what it’s done to our lives.
Kids not being able to go play outside in the rain on school days is a good example..
Schools being cancelled on every day it snows is another! We have the best vehicles, tires, and snow removal we’ve ever had- and yet school is cancelled when it snows- this is nuts, there is a reason for this and it’s because it’s the results of this corporate rot.
It’s also contributing to raising a generations now of such soft kids that as adults they can’t even make it in life.
How do kids that couldn’t even play in the rain go on to qualify for the military?
Okay, I could go on for a good hour here on my rant but I’ll wrap it up- this is a great article and it’s not very long. We’ve got to deal with what this writer is laying out for us very well.

That gives me an idea- maybe the way to deal with the “gender” issue in schools is for the parents to start suing over harm to their children, instead of rights.
They can’t let kids out in the rain because of liability, but they can suggest to your child that they may have a condition that requires lifelong dangerous drugs and maybe even surgery, and puts them at high risk of suicide if they don’t get what they were influenced to believe they need?
A skillful attorney can get really wealthy off of this.
And corporate rot has metastasized in health care.
Something is seriously wrong with Nigel Farage, and I think things that people have ignored about the guy have started to come out. I think these recent council elections in Britain were a case where everyone just wanted to vote for anyone who is not part of the two established parties. I’m not very conversant in British politics, but it just looks like this guy one of many political opportunists.

Smarsh, the parent company of TeleMessage, confirmed that all TeleMessage services have been suspended while it’s investigating what it described as “a potential security incident.”
“TeleMessage is investigating a potential security incident. Upon detection, we acted quickly to contain it and engaged an external cybersecurity firm to support our investigation,” a company spokesperson told BleepingComputer.
The statement comes in response to a request to confirm a 404 Media report saying that a hacker breached TeleMessage and gained access to direct messages and group chats archived using TM SGNL, TeleMessage’s unofficial Signal clone, which former national security adviser Mike Waltz used for archiving Signal messages.
The Federal Government should never be using a public encrypted-message service for anything at all. They all have ready access to military-grade encryption, with staff to continuously monitor the security of the exchange, to record it and provide a classified transcript.
I’m fairly sure, however, that this “app” was used to feed a story to “The Atlantic.” Who dutifully published it. We will never know the details.

I had read here yesterday that there was an option.

If he is countered via the completely atypical accountability for actions route, someone else can “change their mind” because of how crucial the position is to reform efforts.
