Tillis is done as a senator. He knows it and is going down in kamikaze fashion. He has always been a swamp creature, but so are 95% of the GOP senators.
One at a time these GOP senators will work to slow down or stop Team Trump. Tillis is protecting the deep-state this time with Martin. Someone else will step-up the next time on another issue and on and on we’ll go.

Look at what happened to Lt. Gov Mark Robinson in the last election. For those who don’t know, George Soros has Blueprint for North Carolina too. It is true Mr. Moneybags was brought into the US by Hillary for the Democrats but he also buys Republicans for a lot less money than Democrats.
Tillis has a PAC that he uses to run smear campaigns against Republicans running in NC that he does not approve of. He ran the smear campaign against Madison Cawthorne and most likely the smear campaign against Mark Robinson who everyone loved up until that point. He publicly stated Mark would never win election; he also said that about the Moms for Liberty woman who ran for the Public Education Director and she seemed to lose also.

Multivariate analysis indicates that economic elites and organized groups representing business interests have substantial independent impacts on U.S. government policy, while average citizens and mass-based interest groups have little or no independent influence. The results provide substantial support for theories of Economic-Elite Domination and for theories of Biased Pluralism, but not for theories of Majoritarian Electoral Democracy or Majoritarian Pluralism.
In the United States, our findings indicate, the majority does not rule—at least not in the causal sense of actually determining policy outcomes.
When a majority of citizens disagrees with economic elites or with organized interests, they generally lose. IIRC, Germany has long had a two tiered education system, at the high school level; either college prep, or TRADE SCHOOL.

Just to second your comment … we grew quite close to the family of our land lady when were stationed at Armstrong Barracks (no on-post housing available), in the 1970’s.
Her grand kids were our local interpreters before we learned and recalled enough German to get along.
1-2 were tracked to “College” Prep and the remainder to Technical Schools, AFTER they took the PLACEMENT EXAMS before starting High School. Yep, their futures were already predetermined.
I always laughed at the those who wanted US Education to mirror Europe’s and Japan. US Kids could not handle the way classrooms were run in Europe and the exams taken each step of the way towards their futures while in going through school “K to 12”. The US Parents would go nuts in this type of system.
The outlier will always bypass that idea…but it takes a kid with white hot intense determination…of my 4, I had one…the one who ‘wasn’t’ supposed to go to college…she graduated ‘cum laude’ from a relatively esteemed university…
Once again, 50% of all US citizen STEM grads are not working in STEM jobs. When that number is 10% I’m listening.
It hurts the nation when the politicians are counterproductive to a robust STEM-educated working force.
I remember graduating in a STEM field (oil exploration) in 1984…just in time to witness our Congress’ wonderful “fair work” of eviscerating our domestic oil industry to near extinction.
Never got the opportunity to use my degree. By the time the industry had recovered, I was already years out of experience, and had moved on to another line of work. Bills always need to be paid, and life doesn’t simply stop every time the “elites” place their stupidity on full display.
Indeed: when we get past the demographics garbage of “Americans just don’t want to do the work” or “There’s just not enough qualified Americans” – let me know.
There are plenty of qualified Americans willing to do the work. What people aren’t willing to work for, are the suppressed wages and arrogant, abusive attitudes so prevalent in the working sector today.
These are the REAL reasons they bring in the migrants who’ve never before seen $10/hr (more money than they’ve ever seen) and are used to abusive behavior from their superiors.
This is exactly correct. Most STEM workers are not unionized and they are “exempt”, meaning salaried and no overtime. H1-B workers will work 60+ hours with no overtime, forcing the US STEM to do the same or get laid off. Plus the depressed salary due to the increased work force.

We’ve got around 28 million working part time jobs, 7-13 million unemployed workers, and many who have given up on the past/current job market. And then there are those that are working full time, but are looking for a better and more stable job. Or even those that were forced retired early, but have factory experience.
Let’s conservatively say there’s 35 million possibles. Let’s conservatively say only 20% of all those are capable or desirous of working at all the new incoming jobs. That’s still 7 million American Citizens to fill the number of “incoming manufacturing jobs”.
But I wholeheartedly agree that states and/or private companies need to up their game in training for our work force trades!

As to the matter of the Fitts’ interview – something is amiss on this podcast recording. Tucker Carlson – I’ve been taking with a grain of salt considering his close proximity to his father’s career path through Voice of America and its tight knit with the CIA. Remember, in his Vladimir Putin interview – Putin divulged that Tucker was denied access to the CIA which was Tucker’s originally desired career path.
Anywho… back to the matter at hand in the Fitts’ interview… here is the link on the Spotify recording and check out time stamps 7:21 through 7:33 – Fitts is clearly talking about Constitution-minded legislators in Northern Ohio and it suddenly shifts to Montana and Idaho. Bizarre.

I wrote the Congresswoman in my recent old state and my Congressman in my new state as well as both new state Senators (old state Senators are hopelessly progressive). I demanded they stop the judicial lawfare against President Trump given his electoral mandate and the right of his supporters to see the agenda implemented. I demanded their quick response with a commitment to act and that they lost their actions they intend to take and a specific timetable. To date, my new Congressman has replied indicating he is very interested and thanking me for my opinion. That’s it! Nothing further, no responses from anyone else. Two things: I am doing something using these official channels and I have found the problem- Congress Critters! I don’t know that this will solve the judicial lawfare problem, probably not but they need to hear from us that we are paying attention and are Not happy. I wish I felt encouraged that the Supreme Court or some lawsuit will fix it but I’m not a believer. Maybe the Administration can force the issue by refusing to honor all the TRO’s by progressive judges but they seem disinclined to do so right now. Certainly I urge all citizens to direct their frustration to Congress and demand they act to uphold what was voted for overwhelmingly.

DOD stands for “Department of Defense,” last I checked. In more straightforward times, we called it the Department of War. I guess that was just too honest.
But changing the name didn’t change the job.
Our military still exists to fight wars. Our soldiers kill other human beings and occupy their land. Our pilots fly planes (and drones) that will kill other human beings and destroy the planes (and drones) trying to kill us. Our mechanics service the weapons that help our soldiers kill other human beings. Our engineers work to build the bases where the soldiers who kill the other human beings can live.
Et cetera, et cetera, you get it.
Worst-case, our military’s job is to kill human beings by the billions with the nuclear weapons we have all forgotten exist (they still exist).
This is a serious job.
That job is called warfighting.
I can’t believe this needs to be said, but it must: the military needs to focus on warfighting. And it must be allowed to plan and train for warfighting as it sees fit, under the broad guidance and direction of civilians who understand it. Not the micromanaging, the broad guidance and direction.
I can’t believe this needs to be said either, but apparently it must too: Men are stronger than women. Men are more reckless than women. Men are more violent than women. Men are less concerned with self-preservation than women. These traits are not admirable, they are merely real.
War is inevitably violent and dangerous and frequently depends on physical strength. So men are better warfighters than women.
The left thinks it can engineer away or simply ignore these realities in the same way that it has tried to engineer away or simply ignore the physical realities of relying too heavily on solar power for an electrical grid.
The risk of ignoring reality in the electric business is blackouts. The risk of ignoring reality in the war business is far worse.

Our Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines (especially the Marines!) do not need to remake themselves for women. They do not need to accommodate women. I think we can all agree – the tariffs are the tax cuts for the billionaires, at least on paper. The question is, following Republican logic (bear with me) – how do we make up for the loss of those tariffs when more manufacturing is magically developed? If we’re not importing anything, we’re not paying tariffs. If we’re not taxing corporations, we’re not making money off of domestic businesses. So where the hell would that money come from?

Many smarter than you are telling you you’re listening to a lot of propaganda and misinformation about what tariffs are.
You are conflating the “tax cuts for the rich” misinformation with the “tariffs are gonna destroy our economy” propaganda.
If you read a little more, and that, with a little more cognitive awareness, and comment a less on the propaganda peddling, you might learn something.
