Earlier today, President Donald Trump was joined by NFL and DC officials to announce the 2027 NFL Draft will take place on the National Mall in Washington DC. At the conclusion of the announcement, President Trump took questions from the assembled press pool. WATCH (prompted):

The contrast between Biden, who could not even answer scripted questions, and who basically avoided all but the most friendly media for the last two years of his term at least, and President Trump, who talks to reporters all day, every day, and never refuses an opportunity to take questions, is staggering! But yet the media called one of them a “Statesman” and calls the other a “Totalitarian”. No wonder they have lost all credibility!
That contrast is phenomenal, and he’s making every effort to demonstrate it at every opportunity; OTOH, Roger Goodell, son of another RINO, i.e., former NY Senator Chuck Goodell and Mayor Bowser looked somewhat uncomfortable for some reason, can’t imagine why, but Bowser didn’t try to hide her face ala Gretchen Whitmer when she was in the Oval Office.

So, the day after the ’92 NH Primary (I lived in Manchester and spent hours as a volunteer for Pat) I go to the hotel Pat & Shelly were staying at to say good-bye to them. And who do I see? Lew Rockwell.
I greeted him warmly and told him that I was a big fan (I believe Lew was Ron Paul’s first ever Chief of Staff). Lew was big on FREE TRADE. Although I did not agree with the FREE TRADE mantra of the libertarian right, I could not comeback with arguments why I wanted FAIR TRADE until VSGPDJT came along. While Lew is more or less libertarian, to his credit was strongly pro-life, whereas libertarians are by default pro-abort.
To this day, Lew and I occasionally trade emails…one every five years…and he always remembers me. I want to get to Pat’s funeral when he dies, which may be sooner rather than later, and I am sure I will see Lew again. Interestingly, Pat lives in Langley.

Wow that is so cool. I can still remember my jubilation when he won NH in 96 despite the “polls” saying he was going to come in 5th or 6th. I can still remember Pat on the campaign trail visiting a NH Shoe factory and the well paid mostly women supporting Pat because of their fear NAFTA was going to take away their jobs.
I’ve always liked Lew and his site, but I am anti-Libertarian because I view them as splitters as Perot was. I agonized over 96 and found Ross’s co received Fed Reserve contracts, proof that he was indeed a “splitter”.
I had foresight and knew what Pat was warning us was coming was truth and when they alinsky’d him and destroyed his campaign with help from the traitors in the GOPe/Uniparty I was devastated. I walked away from all of this after the 2000 backstab, and only came back because my friends said “Donald Trump is running on Pat’s platform” and I saw that it was true and jumped on board in 15. I think he’s GOAT and when I realized that he is going to reinstall the American System, jubilant I am.
I want him to get that Medal of Freedom that the American Conservative and others are pushing for. He more than deserves it. I hope and pray he gets better, he was my political guiding mentor for decades.

The President is iconic, a once-in-a-blue moon sort of figure who comes around maybe once in the life of an average citizen, if that. He’s an excellent representation of the kind of citizen a free, individualistic, republic might produce – tough, self-assured, with a visceral sense of “the right” and a determination to see it done.

Here is a segment from a video on PBS with Dr. Fauci and Mayor Bowser, visiting the Anacostia neighborhood, in an attempt to overcome “vaccine hesitancy”. This one young man was very well spoken! He was concerned about the vaccine and was offering some good questions. Mayor Bowser went into this different voice as she endeavored to help Dr. Fauci convince the young man that the vaccine was all right. She literally changed her tone in a very clunky effort – it seemed to me – to make him trust her words and those of Dr. Fauci – “don’t worry – your concerns are needless – we know better – we are here to help”.
I haven’t watched since the early-mid 90’s and only stayed partly aware of it into the early ’00s. I watched mainly college ball until the last ten years, and now the nail is in that coffin for me. Way too much money in all of it. I’ll go fish, and enjoy the passing conversations with other fishermen.
