I listened to about half of this drunken podcast while I was doing other things. He’s touched on these topics before.
He has an interesting take, at the beginning, of the illegal alien mother deported with her kids, some of whom are citizens because she had them while here. He calls that slavery, having kids deliberately in order to get something.
At about 7:50 he gets into Homan, and the laws he could use but hasn’t, and brings President Trump into it about 12:i6. We have these laws we could apply but we do not.
I feel the same way, we aren’t seeing it done because they don’t want to do it.
Around 14:50 he starts with Disney and the American workforce. Interesting, he says if you screw Americans out of a job to make your stock price go up, you are a monster.
About 19:50 he gets into the environmental reasons for supporting tariffs.
He goes into how getting rid of illegals plus making off-shoring uneconomical will make things better for Americans in many ways.
I think anybody who wants to hear expanded pro-tariff arguments would do well to listen.
What I want to say is that tariffs and bringing jobs back plus amnesty and increased H1B won’t work, but for some reason we are pretending not to know that.

Why was she on any Pentagon advisory committee in the first place? If nothing else, why was she still on one after January 20, 2025? And not just her, but why was any former Obama/Biden official on one?
I have also yet to hear what these advisory committees contribute in the first place. They are all over the federal government, not just DoD. Do these people actually provide needed and useful advice and insight, or is this just a way to keep their fingers in the rice bowl?

Today – April 27, 2025 – is “Samuel Morse Day” –
having meant to read more about Samuel Morse, that prompted me to go read the Wikipedia page about him –
did you know –
that in addition to being a painter and an inventor, Samuel Morse also wrote an article which appeared in the “New York Observer” in January-February (in parts) in 1834, titled:
“Foreign Conspiracy Against the Liberties of the United States: The [Brutus] Numbers … ”
The Wikipedia page says that it is in the public domain; I will endeavor to read it from the Wikipedia page or perhaps I can find it through newspapers.com and read it from the “New York Observer”.
Interesting also his changing views on Federalists (which his father had always supported) – if I understand correctly, Morse and others were looking with increasing suspicion at the Federalists, that they were actually in league with the British and using a powerful federal government that would ultimately thwart the ideals and purposes upon which the Founding Fathers based this new government.

The only viable alternative appears to be to go off grid. Perhaps living in a cabin in the woods with no Internet, utilities and credit cards and existing on what you can hunt and farm. Personally, I’ll take my chances here in civilization and focus on what is possible.

I have been in similar situations. Anyone who has flown an airplane also has. The instructor/co-pilot should have taken over immediately. It is called “shake the stick I got it”. She would have immediately felt the “stick” and instinctively taken her hands off.
If in fact it was the case, which it is very possible it was the case. I have never heard of a pilot who wouldn’t immediately surrender the “stick” with a “hands off”. Especially to an instructor pilot.

President Trump’s endorsement is an imperative. The President needs to encourage voters to get out and VOTE as well as VOTE for Paxton. This is important because off-cycle primary elections traditionally have LOW turn-outs that favor the RINOS. AG Paxton needs to get 51% of the vote in the first round of the primary or he will be toast when the TX RINOS pull the 3-candidate run-off scam.

Once again, the failing New York Times is running interference and burying the real story to protect their preferred narrative. An article headlined “Missteps, Equipment Problems and a Common but Risky Practice Led to a Fatal Crash,” which is about January’s devastating crash at Reagan National Airport, is a textbook example of mainstream media malpractice.
An honest headline would have read, “Helicopter Pilot Ignored Multiple Safety Warnings Before Fatal Crash.”
The liberal paper of record spent roughly a thousand words dancing around the obvious truth: a helicopter pilot directly caused this tragedy by ignoring multiple explicit warnings. But that wouldn’t fit their preferred story about “systemic failures,” would it?

She had no idea the plane would be there at the point of mid-air. The Tower diverted the landing aircraft in the final minutes before landing on an alternate runway.
If you ever had to try and pick-out and airplane out of all the city lights at night, then you know how challenging and difficult it can be.
The crash was a verified & documented pilot error – the ATC/tower informed her of the jet’s position relative to her position; the instructor conducting the training flight as co-pilot… who told her to turn left to avoid collision in response to the tower’s information – when she herself failed to comply – and who she ignored, confirmed to the tower the other aircraft was in sight – twice.
That she “had no idea” is True… clueless of her responsibility to follow instructions from those in positions of authority; for whatever reason – which doesn’t erase or mitigate the outcome.

As someone who learned to become a pilot, I want to comment on the tragic collision of the Army helicopter and the landing airliner at Reagan National Airport in DC.
Flying an aircraft in crowded airspace is a very unforgiving environment. There is no room for lack of constant attention when the pilot is responsible for maintaining separation from other aircraft.
The information just released indicates the woman flying the helicopter was reminded by the other pilot beside her to make a course correction which did not take place.
What could possibly be more important to that woman pilot than a potential collision course with another aircraft at low altitude next to a major airport?
I was once sternly reminded by an instructor pilot beside me, “This airplane will kill you if you do not keep your constant focus on what you are doing.” Another flight instructor, who had flown USAF F-4 Phantom jets in Vietnam, said to me, “Whenever you are flying any aircraft, you are playing for keeps.”
By its nature, flying an aircraft is always subject to gravity and other laws of physics which are terribly unforgiving of carelessness.
