On Tuesday Hellerstein extended the block but he did not issue a preliminary injunction… yet. The judge’s relief only applies to a dozen illegals being detained in some New York counties.
It looks bleak. Going to have to start arresting people who hire illegals, rent to illegals, or provide other services to those they know to be present illegally. Including letting them benefit from social services intended for American citizens.
Hopefully the inability to work or bum off of social benefits will encourage a lot of self-deportation.

It makes me wonder a bit if the Trump legal team planned well ahead for this possible judicial onslaught by the lower court district judges that lawfare is making happen, or didn’t think this would ever be remotely possible and supported in the least way by the SC . I cannot believe they didn’t at least figure the enemy would have little left to use after the very clear win in Nov. to handcuff the Trump agenda that the American people elected Pres. Actually, that is a tough moral issue. Should a child be returned to his father who lost just lost his mother or kept with his grand parents who the child likely did not know. If you are adopted, you can understand the real issue here. I hate to say it, but Reno might have gotten this one right.
